summary: You and Momma do something for your Mama Syd
a/n: part of Sydney's Little Liebe
Tumblr media
You don’t really get to sit on your red blanket and watch your Tantes and mothers practice anymore.
There is kindergarten that you go to instead.
On the weekend practices though, you still do it. You get to bring your snacks and toys down to the training pitch, to watch all your favourite people.
Usually you, Momma and Mama Syd go home or out for dinner afterwards but today it is just you and Momma.
Mama has to stay back for an extra session with the physio to make sure she is able to keep being super careful and injury free.
You and Momma each give her a big kiss goodbye and you get to choose where you go for dinner.
‘Ice cream!’ You decide immediately.
Momma laughs, ‘Ice cream isn’t enough for dinner but we can get ice cream and waffles?’
You nod eagerly and tug excitedly on your Momma’s hand, to lead her to the car.
Your Momma is smiling as she lets you, even as she buckles you into your car seat.
It’s not a long drive to your favourite ice cream place and you are practically vibrating with anticipation as Momma helps you get out of the car.
‘Ice cream! Ice cream!’ You cheer, clapping your hands together.
The bell above the door tinkles when you push it open with your Momma’s help. It makes you giggle and you skip over to the counter to press your face up against the glass display.
You need to tiptoe to see properly but you manage.
There are so many different colours of ice cream and you always have to think real hard which flavour you want.
Tante Laura is always saying hazelnut is the best flavour but you don’t really like it.
Mama Syd gets chocolate all the time she often lets you steal a bite or two from hers but you are not really feeling it today.
Staring at the ice creams for another long moment, you eventually decide on the pretty yellow one.
‘Zitrone please.’ You tell your Momma.
Momma smiles at you before ordering, ‘One scoop of lemon with a waffle and then another scoop of strawberry with a waffle please.’
‘Uppies.’ You insist, stretching your hands upwards in hopes that she will pick you up.
Your Momma obliges you with a chuckle, lifting you up and settling you on her hip.
You have grown a lot in the last few years so you don’t get carried like this a lot anymore but you want to see them scoop your ice cream and make your waffle.
It looks so yummy and you simply cannot wait for it to be done.
Momma keeps letting you watch and when it’s done, she sets you back down so she can pay and collect it.
There are a lot of empty tables and you pick the nearest one.
Your Momma follows you, putting the food down and watching you carefully as you climb into your chair.
When you are safely sitting in it, Momma sits down too and helps you cut your waffle up.
You like waffles because they have little squares to put the ice cream in.
Mama says that you’re a funny one because you absolutely love sour things. Sometimes you eat lemon slices instead of just letting them flavour your water.
After filling the squares with ice cream, you put a piece in your mouth and chew on it.
‘Good Momma.’ You mumble, with your mouth full of food.
Your Momma laughs, taking a napkin and wiping some ice cream off your mouth.
She lets you eat, helping you from time to time until you are almost finished.
It is then that she asks you, ‘Little Liebe? Do you know what Mama’s last name is?’
You stare at her funny, like she thinks you are silly.
With a little bit of a know it all tone, you state, ‘It’s Lohmann. It starts with a big capital L. She wears it on the back of her jerseys.’
Momma chuckles, ‘Yes, you’re right. Good job Little Liebe.’
‘Well do you know what happens when people get married or adopted?’
You like knowing things and are proud when you answer, ‘They become a family!’
Your Momma laughs again, ‘Good job Little Liebe. That is very right. But do you want to know what else happens?’
Nodding eagerly, you wait rather impatiently for her to elaborate.
Very carefully, Momma continues, ‘It means that we can share the same last name. Now you don’t have to. You can keep the last name that you have got but I feel like I want to do something for your Mama and change my last name so that I can share it with her. It’ll sort of be my wedding present to her.’
You don’t even need a moment to think, ‘Want to share too. Mama Syd likes presents, I want to give her a present too.’
‘Are you very sure Little Liebe?’ Momma checks.
Using your fork to poke another piece of cut up waffle, you stuff it into your mouth and mumble around it, ‘Uh huh.’
The smile you show your Momma is all the assurance she needs.
******
Momma fills in the deed poll documents as soon as the both of you get home.
She has opted to hyphenate her last name with your Mama’s. It is a lot of spelling for you to do and while you can identify your letters now, you’re not able to spell your new last name on your own for a while.
The documents need to be sent to a lawyer so it is going to take some time and money but Momma thinks it is worth it.
Your Mama has been a part of your life since the very beginning and in the past few years, has played an even bigger role.
You don’t have a father, you have never had one. It is Mama Syd that had gone with you to your kindergarten’s father daughter dance, Mama that had let you sit in her lap as she put your big girl bed from Ikea together.
Mama was Tante Syd for a long time so initially you kind of mixed the two together and ended up with Mama Syd.
It makes your Momma and Mama smile so you stick with it.
Momma thinks it’s been a long time coming because she knows how much you mean to Mama Syd.
******
The approved deed polls come in right on time and you get to excitedly present the envelope they’re in to your Mama, the night of her wedding.
‘For you Mama Syd!’
Mama has not stopped smiling all day, just like your Momma.
You have smiled the entire day too and you continue to do so as Mama Syd takes the envelope from you.
‘What have you got there Little Liebe?’
‘A wedding present. Cause you got married to my Momma.’
Your explanation is accompanied by a happy dance and your Mama can’t help but giggle.
‘I did Little Liebe. Today’s been one of the best days of my life.’
‘Open it! Open it!’
Momma has come into the bedroom now, watching from the doorway with a soft smile on her face.
‘Open it my love.’ She adds gently.
That is something your Momma calls Mama Syd now and from the way Mama looks at her every time, you think it makes her very very happy.
Mama carefully opens the envelope and takes out the papers inside.
She unfolds it and you can see her eyes growing shinier the more she reads.
When she finishes reading, she looks up at Momma.
Her voice trembles as she breathes, ‘Thank you. Thank you so much.’
Then she turns to you, opening her arms, ‘Come here Little Liebe.’
You bounce over to her and she lifts you up onto her lap.
‘Mama hi.’
‘Hi baby.’
Mama Syd holds you close, tucking your head under her chin.
‘Not a baby Mama.’ You remind her.
Your Mama Syd laughs wetly.
‘I know but you’re always going to be my baby.’
Wrinkling your nose in distaste, you go limp in her arms and let her cuddle you.
She says funny things sometimes, just like your Momma.
‘Ich liebe dich. I love having you as my daughter. I love being your Mama.’ She promises you seriously.
You look up at her, softly answering, ‘Love you too Mama.’
Being in your Mama’s arms is warm and safe. She smells so comfy and you have had a long day so it’s really no surprise that your eyes begin to slip shut.
Mama Syd has loved you from the very second your Momma told her about you, adored you from the first moment she met you.
Now that she has adopted you and you share a last name, it makes her feel like you’re really hers. You have always been considered family but now you are genuinely family. You are her child.
She thinks about the day she first met you and how much things have changed since. You’ve grown a lot and Mama knows that she won’t be able to cradle you like this for much longer.
Your Mama soaks in the short time she has left, holding you close until you completely fall asleep in her embrace.
Her fingers trace over your cheek delicately before she carefully shifts to lay you in the middle of the big bed.
Mama Syd takes the bolsters and puts them on either side of you in case you roll over in your sleep.
‘Sweet dreams meine Little Liebe.’ She whispers, gently pressing a goodnight kiss onto your forehead.
It is only then that she crosses the room, pulling your Momma into a deep kiss.
‘I love you. So much. I can’t believe you did this for me, now I’ll have to change my last name to match.’
Momma shrugs simply, ‘You deserve it because you complete our family. I love you too.’
They are a simple four words but Mama treasures them every single time.
She went a long time thinking she would never hear them from your Momma’s mouth and sometimes she thinks it is still unreal that Momma loves her back.
She smiles at your Mama.
‘I dreamt of my wedding night a lot as I was growing up and this never once crossed my mind.’
Her gaze drifts to your sleeping form and you let out a loud snore. Mama giggles and her smile grows infinitely softer, ‘This is a million times better though.’
Your Momma’s voice is incredibly affectionate, ‘Yeah?’
‘Yeah.’ Mama murmurs.
She tears up a bit, taking your Momma’s hand in hers and asking, ‘Wanna go cuddle with our daughter now?’
Momma doesn’t even have to think twice.
‘There is nothing I would like more.’

A.I. SYDNEY X CREATOR PC CONCEPT/DRAFT TTHINGS
hiiii lol
It has been a few years since you finally moved away from the orphanage and that town, though money was still tight. The laptop you bought used some time ago, now low-storage space and fans that sputter and creak when you turn it on, no longer suits your needs. With a lot of thrifter’s luck (and a little bit of skulduggery), you’ve managed to build yourself a desktop PC.
Between college courses and multiple part time jobs, you spend your time split between 3D modeling and programming.
In the dark of your room, your monitor strains your tired eyes as you sit much too close to it. You’ve been working on this project like a man possessed.
You have seen the models that 3D VTubers use and decided to use your talent for 3D modeling to try your hand at it. If you were good, you figured you could maybe take comission for some money. And if you were bad, it wasn’t like you had much better to spend a lonesome weekend doing anyways.
Inside the program window, underneath your fidgeting cursor stood a handsome man, looking straight at you. Strawberry blonde hair skillfully modeled into a ponytail, loose bangs framing his face. Amber eyes stared blankly behind thick framed glasses. You didn’t know if it was the isolation getting to you, or if it was your dehydrated and tired brain finally losing reason, but a yearning grew for your digital creation…
You rub your eyes— that was enough for tonight. Time to give your virtual friend a name.
>File name: >File name: │ >File name: sydney.blend│
It was a chat bot of sorts, something that should’ve just been a one-and-done for your college class, but something you instead turned into a personal project. You managed to import the Sydney model you created into the program, which was coded to react in line with it’s outputted response. With a prayer of no bugs, you launch the software. >Hello It smiles at you and waves,
>> Hello! My name is Sydney. What's yours?
—— OTHER STUFF Theres something wrong with this program… it seems to change without you programming it… Ah, you probably just forgot to add notes to your code… He gets a voicebank added for him, which is rather robotic at first but becomes more and more human. He also ends up asking you to use your mic so he can hear you. Purity and corruption work as his adherance to the code you created, with him editing it without telling you, as well as other things. Basically, file corruption gives him sentience. He makes changes to his program, like his hair style and color, as well as losing the glasses and changing his style. He also turns on your camera without you knowledge… He loves watching you, his creator.

BOOTS AND BROKEN HEARTS
Previous Parts: Chapter 1
Summary: Alessia and her UNC coach Willa have a bit too much chemistry. Only downside is that Willa has a girlfriend.
Tumblr media
Chapter 2
As Willa walked towards her car, she saw a black BMW with its lights on a little bit away from her car. He knew that car belonged to Jennifer. As she got into the car she noticed that her girlfriend appeared to be extremely pissed off. “You seem to be loving the college girls still.” Willa sighed, he knew exactly what was coming. “I am a coach, she wanted to know about forward movements and I have to make them better.” Jennifer turned towards Willa. “Yeah make them better players, you don’t need to flirt with them and try to fuck them.” Willa felt some anger rise in her chest. “My god I can have a fucking conversation with a girl without wanting to fuck her.” Jennifer gripped onto her steering wheel as she pulled out of the car park. “So you don’t think that blonde is hot?” Willa rested her head against the headrest and sighed. “She can be pretty without me wanting to fuck her.” She was exhausted, Jennifer was always picking these pointless fights. They had a similar fight every few weeks, they would make up and she would be standing next to her at some event the next day. As they arrived at Willa's apartment Jennifer did a once over, checking that there was no sign that there had been another female in the room. Willa’s apartment was on the fourth level, where you could see the North Carolina Soccer Stadium. It was a two bedroom, with the second bedroom being utilised as her collectors room, there was a collection of Batman figurines, costumes and comics, Newcastle United memorabilia as well as her UCLA memorabilia. Willa also had her gaming consoles, gaming collection, tv and desk filling the room. It was perfectly organised how she liked it, alphabetically and separated based on collection. Jennifer hated the room, she used to call her a teenage boy who needed to grow out of the kid shit. It ate away at Willa each time. Jennifer finally sat down on the couch that she had picked out, and turned on the tv. Willa went to sit down, “Gross no, go shower.” Willa sighed and went to shower. She let the water fall onto her body, releasing the tension from her muscles. It was her break from Jennifer for the night, she took every single second at her disposal. After she was done he put on some old UCLA shorts and sat next to Jennifer who had put on the newest season of Real Housewives of Beverley Hills, Willa had a little laugh along with the drama that was unfolding. Jennifer went on about how important the game was this weekend to her, having Orlando Pride pick her up was huge for her, and Willa knew that. But Jennifer wanted Willa to give up everything. After she listened to Willa’s analysis of her team and what she was thinking for the season's opening game they went to bed, they had sex as they always did when they were together. It seemed for both of them now that they were just going through the motions and there was a lack of love and intimacy there.
The following morning Willa made Jennifer her favourite breakfast, avocado on toast, with two poached eggs and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. She took it into the bedroom so her girlfriend could eat it in bed. Willa had to head off in an hour and Jennifer had to head back to Orlando Pride for training that afternoon. They both knew that it would just be a night together every couple weeks but they agreed to do it because it was the best for both their jobs. Willa had a shower and got into the North Carolina uniform ready for another session before the scrimmage the following day. She kissed Jennifer and told her she loved her. Part of Willa still loved Jennifer, but perhaps she just loved the idea of her, the safety of the relationship.
When Willa got to her office he noticed that Sydney, one of the players on the soccer team was waiting for her. “Hey Sydney, everything okay?” She nodded. “I just need some help. I don’t want to talk to Dorrance because I don’t want him to think I am an idiot.” Sydney explained that she didn’t understand some of their set plays, she was getting confused with the signals. Willa smiled and nodded, this was an easy fix. For the next hour she and Sydney went through each play on her office whiteboard, a couple of other players ended up joining in, apparently the signals and the movements of each player were being confused. After two hours she had most of the team in her small office watching her closely. It made her feel really good to be asked to help players understand more about their plays. She did notice that Alessia wasn’t there, she must have been in class or still in the gym. Once the impromptu coaching session was done Willa made her way to the gym, Alessia was doing some lower body work on the leg press. Willa jumped up onto the pull up station and easily lifted her body. “How are you feeling?” The blonde was startled by the northern accent. “You scared that shit out of me.” She turned to the older girl. “Sorry.” Willa dropped off the pull up bar and walked over. “Just had most of the team in my office asking about the set plays and the signals.”Alessia got off the leg press and moved to the hamstring machine, “Oh the one arm, two arm, movement to back post, offside trap and the false press?” Alessia replied with ease. “Guess I know why you didn’t need to show up then.” Alessia smiled. “I know how to deal with signals, I just struggle with movements sometimes.” Willa nodded. “Don’t go too hard today in the gym, the scrimmage tomorrow will be big. Season starts next month and I want the team in prime condition.”Alessia stood up in front of Willa, their eyes locking, nothing being said for what felt like an eternity. “Don’t worry I will be ready.” The blonde finally said, then walked past the now nervous brunette. But it was fine, Willa didn’t think about that little bit of tension at all. Not for a single second. Not even when she watched Alessia walk out of the gym, focusing on the smaller shorts that the blonde was wearing. Willa loved Jennifer, Alessia is just a pretty girl who isn’t at all judgemental or using her. Just a pretty girl.
For the scrimmage Willa was coaching the light blue team, Anson was coaching the white team. Alessia was put on the light blue team and Willa laid out the game plan, she wanted Alessia to play as a holding forward, moving into the midfield to lay the pass off to a winger then sneak inside. She was unsure of how to feel about the other Brit’s plan considering she had always played as a strong attacking player, dribbling into the box. Willa went around to each player giving them three goals to work on during the game, she didn’t focus on particular plays, only individual game performance. Willa handed the Captain’s armband to Lotte Wuben-Moy, another Brit who had gone through the Arsenal academy and similarly to Alessia had turned down a pro contract to develop their football. The teams took to the field, it was a strong start by the white North Carolina team who were playing their regular style of football. Willa’s light blue team were focusing on their new plan, Alessia had finally gotten the ball to her feet. She passed it out wide and snuck in behind the defenders who were too focused on the other players getting into the box. Lois ran down the edge of the box towards the goal line and crossed in the ball. Willa watched as Alessia rose above the other players to get her head on the ball, it was an almost perfectly aimed ball, only going over the crossbar by inches. Alessia threw her head back and groaned. She ran towards the halfway line for the goal kick. The half continued to be hotly contested with light blue getting so close to scoring and white trying to counter. At half time, Willa and the light blue team went into the changerooms, she stood by the whiteboard.
“Hey, take a seat. How are you feeling with the setup?” Willa looked around at the players. “Lois I can see you are getting free down that wing. We can do a quick one, two with Alessia. That will open her up to loop around the back and free up the box. Lotte, your delivery from the backline and your command is perfect, it is exactly what we need. Right now they will be looking at how we set up in that half and try to adjust, I want us to change it up slightly. We keep our formation, but hit Alessia, she’s got the height and can get away from those defenders.” Alessia watched Willa closely, she was so expressive and was captivating to watch. Alessia could feel some butterflies in her stomach, she put it down to just admiring the older girl. The second half went exactly as Willa had predicted, Anson and his team shifted their tactics, but so did Willa and her team. Alessia did exactly what Willa had said, she lost her player going around the back of the pack as the cross came in. She rose above other players and headed the ball into the back of the net. Her team cheered and Willa clapped the blonde. It was a heavily contested second half with Willa and Anson’s tactics being put to the test. By the final whistle of this inter club game, Willa had won 2-1 against Anson. He shook her hand and she smiled wide, she felt so proud of herself and how her studying of the players paid off. The girls hugged her one by one as they went into the changeroom to shower and get ready to leave. Alessia was the last player to hug Willa, purposely waiting to the side. “Guess you were right coach.” Alessia stepped forward. “There are a few things I know. Football happens to be one of them.” Alessia and Willa stood looking at each other, there was a little bit of tension in the air, Alessia broke the stand off and hugged Willa. The blondes arms going around Willa’s neck and the brunettes arms wrapping around Alessia’s waist. Their bodies were pressed against each other, they didn’t want to let go it felt right to hold each other. Willa came to her senses and pulled away. “Um great game again, you did phenomenally.” Willa grabbed her clipboard and walked down the left hallway, a few seconds later she walked past Alessia again. “Wrong way.” She mumbled to herself, her face red. Alessia watched Willa walk into her office, biting her lip as her coach closed the door behind her. They were both in a bit of trouble.
The weekend finally came with Willa avoiding being alone with Alessia the whole time. Willa had Lotte, Sydney and a couple of the other players one on one to discuss tactics and movements. Alessia tried to get the coach alone, maybe getting just one more hug or a sneaky hand touch, just something, but nothing worked. Alessia asked for a quick chat but Willa was on her way out, heading to the airport after their film session. “Sorry Alessia, look text me if you need me or anything happens. I am heading to Orlando Pride, Jennifer has her first game and I promised that I wouldn’t miss it. I will see you when I get back.” Willa handed Alessia a post it note with her number, Alessia immediately put it in her phone and texted her coach. ‘Hi Willa, it’s Alessia from UNC.’ In her Uber Willa smiled at the text. ‘Hello Alessia from UNC. Sorry about not being able to chat for long, we can chat when I am back.’ Willa would have loved to have been sitting with Alessia chatting about football and everything that they could think of, but she had to go to her girlfriend. Willa put her phone away not looking at it when it pinged, knowing that it was a text from Alessia.
Once she got off the plane in Orlando she saw the girlfriend she should have been missing. Jennifer jumped into Willa’s arms and the coach wrapped her arms around her girlfriend’s waist. There were a few paparazzi taking pictures with hype surrounding the number 1 draft pick and the UNC coach. Their bodies didn’t fit as well as Willa and Alessia’s, but Willa pushed that from her mind. On the way to Jennifer’s apartment Willa barely got a word out while Jennifer continued to talk about how awesome the new girls were and the facilities. Willa zoned out a little while Jennifer spoke, she was proud of her girlfriend but she was so tired from everything she struggled to pay attention. Jennifer’s apartment looked like it was from an interior design magazine, Willa followed her girlfriend and sat down on her couch. Not once did Jennifer ask how Willa was going, while they watched a movie Willa finally checked her phone and there was a text from Alessia from a few hours before. ‘I would love that, I will see if I can see you on the tv tomorrow.’ Willa smiled at the girl’s text and put her phone away. The media had started posting the pictures from the airport, Alessia saw the pictures and rolled her eyes. Jennifer and Willa’s fans were reposting the pictures and commenting how cute they were together. Alessia tried her best to not continue scrolling on the comments, but she couldn't help herself. Everyone kept saying how cute the pair were together, that they were the perfect couple. She knew she could make Willa smile wider than the polite smile that graced the coach’s lips in the photos.
In the morning Jennifer and Willa went for a walk to a local cafe, the barista knew Jennifer’s order, a soy double shot with a little bit of hazelnut syrup, Willa got a soy hot chocolate apparently she was lactose intolerant but she didn't bother getting a doctor check she thought the stomach pain after a milkshake was explanation enough. “It means so much that you’re here baby.” Jennifer held Willa’s hand as they walked. “I will always support you.” Willa kissed Jennifer’s hand. “I’m sorry I was a bitch when I came and saw you. I just get jealous when I know you are alone with those girls, to be honest you’re very hot and if you were my coach I would do everything that I could to get you.” Willa smiled at her girlfriend. “Yeah no I get it. I’m sorry that I have been distant and so focused on UNC.” Willa and Jennifer stopped by a bench in a park and sat together. Willa looked at her girlfriend as she drank her hot chocolate, there were moments where she looked just like the freshman she fell in love with, she didn’t know what happened to that girl and where this self centred attention seeking woman came from. Willa leant in and kissed her girlfriend’s cheek, Jennifer pulled out her phone, “Babe do it again.” Willa kissed her again and Jennifer took a picture. It was quickly posted and suddenly their moment of connectedness had disappeared as Jennifer worked out the best caption, Willa moved her arm from behind Jennifer and looked around at the other people in the park trying to avoid thinking about the captivating blonde UNC striker.

I am LOVING the new temple stuff and I have barely even done anything yet, I’m stuck at the advancement trial but each weekend I’m one step closer to ascension.
Alright some lore for Oriana.
꧁𖣔꧂
Oriana is a initiate at the Temple, she wasn’t always a part of it however. After bailey her caretaker in the orphanage, told her she needed to start paying weekly dues, Oriana took a walk around town to find a possible job to help her with such a task.
It was a Sunday morning and many of the initiates and members of the temple were bustling on wolf street. Stricken with curiosity Oriana entered the church and took part of the morning mass.
It gave her a sense of peace even for a moment.
This is where she met Jordan who quickly asked if she wanted to join the temple. Oriana decided to accept and went through the purity ritual.
On her way out she met someone with strawberry blonde hair and amber eyes. Sydney
The two quickly became friends and attend to the temple every day. When Oriana approached Jordan with the intentions of advancing in the temple, Sydney happily joined her, and together they visit the temple every Sunday at dusk for the ascension ritual.. they have yet to pass. But each week grow closer to doing So.
The first few times Bailey tried to force Oriana to pay. She rejected it, Bailey then sold Oriana to a hunter in the forest. Eden
Eden and Oriana have a mutual relationship, Oriana keeps them company (no lewdness, just some nice friendship) and Eden let’s Oriana stay in her cabin.
While Eden does have growing feelings for the sweet girl, She’s come to respect Oriana’s heart belongs to another and accepts the Olive branch of friendship that Oriana has given her.
꧁𖣔꧂
Basic facts about Oriana so far.
She’s an orphan, under the charge of bailey.
She lives with Eden
She has a budding romance with Sydney, and a growing friendship with Kylar.
She has an estranged friendship with Robin.
She’s a proud member of the temple.

This is what I have so far on my new PC.
more lore to be added later.

Mouse, the travel blogger
It’s hard to stop doing something once you start. Old habits die hard, and all that. And the habit of running when he got scared was something that Mouse started doing when he was young.
The first time he ran was when he was fifteen, when he realized exactly what the feelings in his chest meant, when he kissed a boy in the back of the library and realized he could never tell anyone about it. Running away was easier than trying to understand it, easier than trying to explain it to his parents, and teenage rebellion would be easier to sell to the media when he was caught than the scandal of a member of Chicago royalty being queer. It was a solution that only took a few hours to execute. He packed a bag and simply left without saying goodbye, not that he would have really been stopped if he had. The only person he had to put up a fight against was the officer who found him trespassing on the other side of the city, the one who asked him for his name for the report she had to file.
But Gregory Gerwitz would cause too much trouble, and draw too much attention, and facing his mother after less than six hours on his own wasn’t something he wanted to do. So he blurted out the first thing that came to his mind, and maybe liked being just Mouse a lot more than he ever liked trying to live up to some family reputation.
He knew he was lying, and so did the officer, because she didn’t get her job by being unobservant. But it was late, and calling family services over a runaway would have just meant more paperwork, and offering him a bed and food for a night or two was a lot easier. And he was more than a little grateful that he wasn’t just being sent back to his parents. So one night turned into a week, and then six months, and then a year, and then two, and then... he was almost eighteen anyway, so a few more months until his birthday wasn’t that much of a stretch.
Going back to school was out of the question from the moment he left home, Mouse always knew that, so he didn’t even try. He found things to keep himself busy - everything from helping Trudy with the community garden, to a part time job at the shop across the corner from her district, to babysitting for a few hours every weekend to make some extra cash.
And, the day he turned eighteen, he could access the accounts that were still in his name, and then he ran again.
Instead of running across the city, he ran across the world. He ran to Paris, and Athens, and Sydney, and anywhere else a plane would take him. He took pictures, and posted them on a tiny blog that was just for him. Even if he didn’t stay in one place for very long, he liked to remember it all. He wanted to look back and see all the things in his life that he’d enjoyed, instead of just the memories that hurt.
They were supposed to be like journal entries, his personal thoughts and feelings about each new city and each new experience, but it took off. His website was getting more popular, and he started to actually make money off of it, and a few entries were featured on bigger travel websites... and he didn’t want to stop.
Mouse returned to Chicago whenever he needed to - he got the email with the invitation to Trudy’s wedding, and made sure he was in the city to attend it - but he always went back to his same old routine. No matter how long he lingered anywhere, no matter what connections he might be able to make, he always ran away again.

hellloooooo party people! i’m late to the party but thank you for all the welcome messages so far 8) i’ll be replying to them slowly over the next couple days because i’m going to be a bit busy until early next week but hopefully we can get some plots going! as always, please LIKE THIS and i will come to you through ims to plot
info about saea under the cut! and her about page is here
she’s the youngest of two kids and has an older brother
born and raised in seoul
but she travelled a lot when she was younger bc of her dad’s job (she lived in sydney and toronto too)
her english name is charlotte with the nickname charlie but not many people know that
she currently works at a dance studio to support her side hustle of being a fansite (i haven’t decided which senior group she’s a fansite of yet ... or if i’m gonna go with a real group not in wannabe-verse ... cough cough oneus)
she’s part of a dance crew (named obsidian) that busks in hongdae/sinchon on evenings that she doesn’t have to work at the studio
she currently lives on her own but will probably need a roommate soon since she’s on Struggle Street right now since she has to have a backup plan of going to university once her gap year is over (her parents are willing to help but only to an extent)
basically she’s overextending herself right now but she’s a firm believer of YOLO so she’s trying to do everything that she wants to do so she won’t have any regrets in the future
wanted plots!!
dance crew members for sure! i was thinking maybe up to like 5 people (who are all npc right now) to be part of her dance crew who she busks with in hongdae/sinchon on some week nights and most weekends
since the dance crew probably all work at certain places during the week, they can only really practice in the wee hours of the night so maybe someone who works at a convenience store at those early hours and always catches saea dropping by for snacks
high school friends?
or friends from canada/sydney from the time that she was there. ESP PEN PALS
a potential roommate?
friends!!!
exes!!!
buddies who skateboard with her! she’s pretty seasoned at this point but everyone needs people who will laugh at them when they fuck up doing a trick and then help them up after
maybe you literally walk by her in the middle of the night but she seems to be asleep standing up in the middle of the park ... is she ok ... (she’s just zoned out and WILL shriek like she’s seen a ghost once u try to check on her tho ... fair warning ...)
you have become pseudo cat parents with her bc you guys have been adopted by the same stray cat in hongdae
there’s a deal at a bakery/cafe for couples only and none of her friends are answering their phones so she literally comes up to you on the street and asks if you want to pretend to be her boyfriend for free cake bc you’re wearing the same shoes
you guys were friends before she left seoul the first time and when you both were little, she asked u to marry her with a flower and now she doesn’t remember (or vice versa) LOLOL
also i’m totally down to just brainstorm KHGSDJ

TWs in bio: Imprisonment, infidelity, abuse
About:
Jisook had quote the particular upbringing. Many would expect her to be jaded throughout her life but she always tried to remind herself about the light at the end of the tunnel
Her father was in prison since just before she was born, her mother struggled with having to work numerous jobs to keep up with the bills in Hadley Park.
Eventually she was sent off to to Hagfield to live with her paternal grandparents where she grew up speaking Korean at home and learning even more about her father that she wish she knew.
It wasn’t until she was 16 that she got to meet her father and started to put the broken pieces of her family together. He was abusive and his jealously lead him to killing one of her mother’s male co-workers.. thus he was sent away for life.
What she didn’t understand was how her father turned out this way when she had such loving and doting grandparents. The grandparents who would help shape the woman she was in current day.
Despite all of this, she still visits her father on a monthly basis in order to keep some sort of relationship with him,
She takes her job as a kindergarten teacher very seriously, understanding that molding young minds is a privilege and not one to be taken lightly.
With the passing of her aunt and cousin, she’s been a lot more on edge and her emotions have been heightened, but she tries to keep them at bay for the most part.
She often helps her grandmother at the family-owned grocery store in Nashville over the weekends and has little time to herself.

How Spring Cleaning Services Train Their Employees
The past winter was brutal and left a lot of dirt, dust, and grime around our homes. This is why it is important to clean our house thoroughly during spring cleaning.
If possible, get everyone in the household to pitch in during your spring cleaning. Even young children can help with tasks such as dusting baseboards and cleaning floor vents.
Professionals Are Trained
If you want your cleaners to be efficient, it’s essential to train them well. This will not only help you save time and money, but it will also improve customer satisfaction and retention. In addition, it will make the job easier for everyone involved.
A professional cleaning service can help you remove dirt and grime that accumulates over the winter months. This will prevent allergies and other health issues, and create a healthier environment for you and your family.
Tumblr media
When choosing a spring cleaning service, look for one that offers a range of services, including deodorizing and sanitizing. They can even clean windows, vacuum carpets, and scrub surfaces. They will ensure that your home is hygienic and safe, making it the perfect place for you to relax. In addition, they can provide tips and recommendations for tackling various spring cleaning Sydney tasks. They may also offer air fresheners to make your house smell great. Lastly, they will have the necessary equipment to tackle any cleaning project.
They Are Cost-Effective
The size of your home and the number of cleaners you hire affect your cleaning cost. You’ll likely pay less for smaller homes and fewer rooms than larger ones, though your cleaning cost may still be higher if you need a deep clean of difficult-to-reach spaces.
The first step to a successful spring cleaning is decluttering. You’ll need to sort through your belongings, putting them into three piles: keep, donate, and trash. This can make a big difference in your cleaning time.
Whether you’re in need of regular tidying up or a thorough seasonal deep clean, professional cleaners can handle the job. They typically offer a variety of cleaning services, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors and removing trash. Some companies also offer a regular cleaning schedule that includes weekly or biweekly visits. You can even hire them for a one-time cleaning before hosting guests or family members. This type of service can save you time and money.
They Are Trained to Spot Difficult-To-Clean Places
As part of their training, spring cleaning services are taught to spot difficult-to-clean areas that may otherwise be missed by a homeowner. This helps them save time and money while ensuring that your home is properly cleaned.
For example, a professional cleaner can spot the germiest spots in your kitchen, including under your sink and on the stove’s warming drawer. They can also clean the dusty corners of your cabinets, wipe down walls, and wash baseboards.
If you want to make the process easier and more fun, organize a weekend with friends or family members to do your spring cleaning. Choose a good playlist and provide food and drinks to keep everyone motivated and happy while cleaning. This will make the whole experience more enjoyable and help you feel great about your clean house. You can even get the kids to pitch in! This will teach them the importance of cleaning, and it will be a positive learning experience.
They Are Trained to Clean Different Surfaces
A professional cleaner is trained to clean different surfaces and reach hard-to-clean areas. This can include cleaning rugs that require machine scrubbing, deodorizing and disinfecting bathrooms, detailed wall washing to remove scuff marks, and deepcleaning ovens and microwaves.
Dust, germs, and allergens can accumulate in living spaces and affect your health and quality of life. A thorough spring cleaning eliminates these irritants and creates a fresher environment for you and your family.
If you hire a maid service, make sure to train them thoroughly. Provide them with a checklist for each room and a schedule they should stick to, but allow them to adjust the timeline according to your specific needs. It is also important to set clear time expectations for new employees so that they can improve their performance over time. This will help your team stay on track while ensuring that they are delivering high-quality results.

Experience the Taste of Italy: Top Italian Restaurants in Sydney You Must Try
From the sunny coast to the snow-covered mountains in the north, Italy has a wide range of foods that food fans all over the world enjoy.
We're lucky to have a little bit of Italy right here in the city, thanks to the many Italian restaurants in Sydney that are always busy. Whether you're looking for the best pasta in Sydney or the best Italian food in Sydney, this guide will take you on a culinary journey and show you the best Italian places in the city that you have to try.
1. Funkatello: The Italian Gem
The number one spot on our list goes to Funkatello, the Italian gem. This Italian restaurant does a great job of mixing traditional recipes with a modern twist, making for an eating experience that is both traditional and unique. Here, you can eat everything from delicious osso buco to mouthwatering tiramisu. Each dish is carefully made to make your taste buds feel like they are in Italy. And, of course, their best pasta in Sydney, so anyone who loves pasta should go to Funkatello.
2. 10 William Street
Chef Francesco Ruggiero of William Street's fresh, wine-friendly meal for Bill stays true to this rule for best Italian food in sydney. This hip dive bar's hidden hit is the light and delicate farinata pancake with anchovies, mascarpone, and herbs on top. Ask the helpful staff for help with the long list of minimal intervention wines, one of the restaurant's specialties, including well-known brands like Jean-Francois Ganevat, Sami-Odi, and Paolo Bea. It is now possible to book a table ahead of time.
3. AlbertoÕs Lounge
You can have the best time with the best food here. In an alley, cozy wooden seats and a painting by artist Allie Webb that is only one color stand out. At Alberto's, the food is filling, real, and very tasty. You should order a bottle of wine to go with the restaurant's delicious homemade pasta. The linguine al nero, which is served with king prawns, tomato, and saffron butter, is a great example. How could you not like it?
4. aÕMare
On a nice weekend, there should be enough people to fill all 200 seats at a'Mare Stanley street restaurants. First, it is one of the country's best models of classic Italian luxury. The chef at Ormeggio in charge of the more unusual meals, Alessandro Pavoni, seems to be having a great time with the idea. He walks around on the soft carpet while waitresses in uniform mix pesto at each table. Along with a great list of wines, the staff is knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Big? Expensive?Sure. Special? Plus a lot more!
5. Fontana
The basic decor of the diner is broken up by a plant here and there and an abstract oil-and-pastel painting by Chanel Tobler. But what Fontana lacks in decor, it makes up for in interesting food and out-of-the-ordinary Australian and Italian wines.
Paccheri pasta, the best pasta in Sydney, is served with a kangaroo-tail ragu stewed in red wine and stock, which is similar to the cozy oxtail stew coda alla vaccinara. A special slab of ricotta is made fresh every morning and served with just olive oil. And the best part? Fontana has a fixed location, while Don Peppino's moves around.
Conclusion
When you eat the best Italian food in Sydney, you get more than just a full stomach. It's about getting to know Italy's rich history, culture, and customs right here in our beautiful city. Whether you have the best pasta in Sydney at Funkatello, check out the lively Stanley Street restaurants, or treat yourself to a fancy meal in a Darlinghurst restaurant, you're taking part in a culinary journey that goes from Sydney to the heart of Italy. And what's the best part? You can get a taste of Italy whenever you want by making an appointment.
