A kidney stone is an irregularly-shaped crystallised mass of minerals and acid salts that stick together in concentrated urine. Today Chandigarh Traffic Police launched New Portable Night Speed Radar, Driving Simulator Machine of four-wheeler & two-wheeler along with special stickers for differently abled persons driving motor vehicles. Ms. Manisha Chaudhary, IPS, SSP/Traffic & Security graced the occasion and inaugurated this event. With the help of portable Night Speed Radars guns, the mince of speeding during late evening and night hours by the motor vehicle drivers will be curbed and will help in reducing road crashes and thus saving precious human lives. Special sticker for Differently abled persons will be affixed upon the front & rear wind screen of their motor vehicles with the aim that the vehicle driven by differently abled persons are easily identifiable to the other road users for keeping the safety of such drivers and not to Honk or overtake in haphazard manner which may cause panic to such drivers leading to road crash. Two Simulator driving machine comprising four-wheeler driving and two-wheeler driving are also introduced for imparting driving skills to the motor vehicle drivers in CTP and to make them aware about the common mistakes committed by the drivers such as not giving proper and timely signals on turning, not following the traffic signs & road markings, invalid parking, speeding etc. The mistakes committed by these driver while driving are reflected on the screen as well as through audio mode also. Further, test results of the same will be generated which will act as guidance for every participant undergoing the driving test on these simulators during Refresher Training Module in CTP.
