Arriving at a new school is hard but it’s even harder knowing all your friends from your old school are wearing whatever they want when you’re stuck wearing a skirt, not fun. Yeah, your mom told you you were going to have to wear a uniform but you thought you could pick, but no. Walking to school was a whole different thing though, a thing you loved, walking in the cold breeze instead of driving forty-five down the school road. You missed your car but you also missed using your legs. Going through the doors of the school gave you a big rush of realization, realization being that you had no idea who these people were. People were ok but talking to them was not, you liked your academics more than anything, except your car but that was for you. Academics were definitely more for the people you surround yourself with not for the people around you (If you get that). You knew you were smart so you tried your best to do your best. Honestly, thinking about it, you have no idea how you had time for your friends at home but now that you had no one you were going to keep it like that, or so you thought. Getting to your locker with thirty minutes to spar, you gave yourself some time to compose yourself before heading to class. Having a locker was new to you, you thought it was neat, like having a big backpack stationary, and knowing you weren’t going anywhere new anytime soon you decorated it with a mirror, some cool stickers, and a plethora of hair ties. Putting the last thing in your locker before heading off you notice a group of boys walking down the hall towards you, they probably have lockers over here you thought. When they got about six feet away from you one of them stopped at a locker on your side, tall, lengthy, with brown hair, and the uniform you wished you had. You didn’t want to stare for too long not wanting to get unnecessary feelings for a guy you don’t know. You look back at your locker, still open, rummaging through nothing but a pencil box and a couple journals.
He spotted you, thinking you were cute but honestly, you looked like any other brunette in the school but there was something different about you, your hair was curly, the textures in your hair were almost unbelievable and unimaginable to him. Now thinking about it, has he ever seen a brunette with curly hair?
“Ay, Jay? Are you going to stand there for the whole thirty minutes or what?” Someone shouted out.
“Uh, no, I’m just grabbing a few things.” Jay admitted while staring at you, not wanting to disappoint his friends, he picks through his locker to find a few things.
You put your hair behind your ear, without knowing it you had a better view of the guy next to you but your heart skipped a beat when you saw his arm leaning over his locker, blocking his face from you. This. Guy. Had you wrapped around his finger, for what, being a man? Well that was hard to find these days but you just got here! You check the time on your phone and see you have been standing here for only a few minutes. You couldn’t believe it, all you wanted was for class to start but no. You couldn’t go to the library because it was on the other side of the school, I could sit outside, you thought. And because you had no other ideas you went with that.
With this weather you could sit outside all day, the cool breeze and your music playing at a reasonable volume, all the way up. You like to people watch but when you're on the other end it’s interesting. You saw from afar that the group of guys from earlier were standing across the courtyard, facing you.
Crossing his arms across his chest, one of them says, “Who is this girl?” Another one says, “Maybe she’s new?” and another says, “I heard a detective and her daughter moved out-of-state to our town, maybe it’s her?” The guy that stood next to you at your locker mumbles, “Guys shut up.”
You like being early, it feels better than being late anyway. You got to your classroom door with a couple minutes still on the clock, your heart was pumping a little faster than normal so you took some time to breathe. You make yourself presentable just in case the teacher wanted to introduce you or if students were staring at the door waiting to spot the imposter. You walk into the classroom, chin up, back straight, strides long, all the way to your seat in the back. Sitting down at your desk, you pull out your ipad. You always found it easier to write on your ipad than plain paper, but you occasionally use it. Writing down the title and date you look up at the board, your attention is drawn to the two guys walking in. It’s the guy from earlier and one of his friends, how. You could’ve had so many other classes but you had to have the class with him. You cover your face with your hand and look down at the ipad. Pulling your phone out to look at the time, right on time, lovely. They walked down the aisle and sat in the two empty seats next to you.
The teacher walked in, he didn’t look bad for an older guy, you know a regular teacher. You sat up in your seat not giving much care to the guy next to you anymore because now you had put your thinking cap on. He stood in the middle of the front of the classroom, “Good morning students, hope you all had a nice weekend.” He leans toward his desk and pulls out two pieces of paper, “It’s been a few weeks since school started but we have a new student.” Everyone turns to look at you, giving you goosebumps. “If you don’t mind, kid, could you introduce yourself?”
Taking a deep breath, you walk up with all the confidence you had left, “Hey, I’m Y/n.” you paused as you couldn’t think of anything necessary to say. Mr. Hill sitting at his big desk, “If you don’t mind telling us, where did you move from?” he asks as he leans back in his chair. You fold your hands together, realizing the guy next to your desk has been head high the whole time, “I moved from the big state of H/S…sir.” Mr. Hill nods but a couple of girls at the front can’t swallow their giggles so they cover their mouth to block them from getting any louder. Your eyes grow narrow as you watch them snicker away. Mr. Hill takes a short breath, “Alright, Y/n, thank you for sharing. Happy to have you.” You take a glance at his desk behind you, “Happy to be here, thank you.” You quickly walk back to your desk and sit down, grabbing your pen that goes to your ipad and setting it on top. Not realizing it, your hand was shaking from the unknown adrenaline you had while you were up there. With it shaking on the desk, the guy next to you saw and immediately began to worry about a person he doesn’t even know, well, he did know you were from H/S. He leans from his seat towards you but going more behind you than anything, “I hope they didn’t get under your skin?” he mumbles, half way out of his seat. His voice startles you, making you jump slightly, “Why would they, they’re just some weirdos trying to make themselves look cool.” You straighten up in your seat getting ready to put your pen to work until he starts talking to you again. “The teacher doesn’t start ‘teaching’ for another few minutes.” You give him a funny look. He looks back at you and shrugs his shoulders. Finishing his chat with you, he turns to his friend, occasionally peering over at you. You ponder on the idea of not doing class work at your other school, it would be the equivalent of skipping class.
You pull out your phone and start up the game you loved and loathed at the same time, Crossy Road. You play a game, getting higher than one-thirty, but failing do to a log going faster than expected. You’re about to play another when you notice the guy next to you is leaning towards you a bit. Eyeing him, he grins, “You any good?” he questions as he turns his whole body to you. You nod with a grin, as you open a gift in the game. “Do you mind if I watch?” he says, pointing at your screen. “Not at all.” You hum as you turn so he can see but he shakes his hand at you gesturing you don’t need to, you raise an eyebrow confused. He extends his arms out, making full eye contact with you as he grabs your desk, pulling it closer to him, and wrapping his arm around your shoulders. You blush as you sit there beside him, so close. He looks down at you, starting your game for you, making you gasp. You play one of your best games as he traces your side profile carefully, burning every inch of your face into his memory. You huff as you fall off a log into the water, just under four hundred. Taking a breath and a look at the classroom, you see a few students looking back at you and your very comfortable friend. He sees you looking up and frowns, bringing his hand to your chin to pull your attention back to your game, “Don’t mind them, they’re just wasting their time.” Your heart flutters as you feel his hand graze your chin, you don’t even know this guy but…he makes you feel safe. You could go on and on about how cozy he feels. You lean into his body, making yourself a little more snug. He takes notice of your doing and smiles, pulling your desk closer. You start another game when Mr. Hill gets up and announces, “I’ll be back in a couple minutes then we’ll start class.” He walks to the door and disappears into the hallway. As your chicken is swept up by an eagle, you scoff at your game, making your friend chuckle. He waits until you start another game to pick your pen up and write something down on your ipad. You’re so focused on your game that you don’t realize he was messing with your stuff. Failing again but this time going a little over two-hundred, you look up again at the crowd of people in front of you, rolling your eyes when you see the same two girls that were laughing at you earlier glancing over at you. Your friend looks up with you to see them and glares. You shake your head putting your sight on your phone again but his head didn’t move, he kept his gaze on the girls until they looked away. He too, rolls his eyes in annoyance, he takes another look at them then goes back to your phone noticing you’ve already started another game. Falling once more, you get over two-hundred again, deciding to leave it there. You turn your phone off to slip it into your bag but realizing your bag was now about four feet away from you, over by the wall. You scrunch your nose in defeat, setting your phone on your desk, and going back into the warm body of your friend.
“Jay, you want some gum?” someone asks from your friend's side. His voice startles you making you straighten up and lean against your desk with your elbows supporting you, as to not get in his way. He turns to his friend with wide eyes, he sighs, “Sure, Ted.” Jay eyed the gum counter, taking two out, then turning back around to you. His friend, Ted, opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out.
You, now looking at your desk, see your friend’s writing on your ipad, I’m Jay, nice to meet you it said. You smile down at his message and screenshot it. Jay turns back to you with a piece of gum at his fingertips, “Want some gum?” You nod, taking it from his hand. Shooting it into your mouth for a flavorful taste of peppermint.
You hear a knock come from the classroom door, Mr. Hill walks in with a stack of papers and a laptop, “Alright kids, enough lollygagging. Let's get this show on the road.” By now the desks have shifted so much that people are in their own little groups, so you and Jay don’t look half bad. When you try to move your desk away from him he grabs it, looking up at you, “Don’t go, doll.” You raise your eyebrows, trying to see if he was kidding or not but with those eyes, looking up at you, it was hard to tell. You didn’t give in though. You place your hand on his, rubbing it to loosen his grip, grinning when he finally lets go. You move it back to its original spot or maybe even further just to mess with him. Sitting down, you erase his message to clear a space to write. You look up at the teacher ready for class, finally, but out of the corner of your eye you see Jay twiddling with a pencil in his hand but no paper? You go to your bag and pull out a piece of paper for him, putting it on his desk. He scoffs, writing something down. He picks the paper up and slides it back to you, making you roll your eyes. Would you like to go out with me? it said. You shake your head as you pull out a pen to write, Only if you can wait a week. The teacher starts talking about something you're familiar with so you don’t worry much. You pass the note back to Jay discreetly. He looks at the note smiling and nodding at the paper, Deal. he wrote. Passing it back to you for the final time, looking up at the board with a grin tugging at his lips. You smile and put the paper in your bag.
Class ends with a big whoop, wanting nothing more than to go stand outside for the remaining time you had left until your next class. You shove your ipad and pen back into your bag and turn to stand up but someone’s in your way, “I hope you know that he’s just being nice, you know, helping out a fellow classmate, nothing more?” The girl standing in your way had a snobby look on her face, honestly, nothing new. You tighten your lips and nod, “Thanks but I think I can handle myself.” You try to stand up but she steps closer, “I’m warning you,” Putting a hand on your desk and another on your chair, “Don’t fall for it.” You raise your eyebrows as she looks at you. She leans away, completely changing her stone cold eyes to a smile as she walks back to her desk, unsure if it was genuine or not. When she gets back to her seat you realize it was one of the girls from earlier, the thought makes you close your eyes in disappointment. You stand up, questioning if you should say bye to Jay or not, you take the girl’s advice into consideration. Then mentally smacking it out of your head like it was a fly buzzing around your ear. You take a step to Jay’s desk. You knock on it to get his attention but he doesn’t turn around, you frown and try again, still nothing. Now offended, you cross your arms across your chest, waiting for him to come to his senses. You sigh, “Uh-hem.” He turns around to see you standing behind him, “Oh hey,” he turns half way, scanning your figure, “Didn’t see you there, how was your first class?” You clear your throat, “It would have gone better if someone wasn’t starin’ at me the whole time.” A big grin appears on his face, “Happy to help.” You look at your shoes not wanting to make eye contact with him. His friends behind him couldn't hold their laughs. A straight face comes across your face as you look up, “To my surprise, I think I have one more class with you, so I’ll see you then.” You turn on the balls of your feet and walk towards the classroom door. Jay somehow beats you to the opening and leans against the frame, “Just wanted to ask if you were serious about ‘waiting a week’ before I can take you out?” You grip the strap of your bag, irritated, Just let me get outside and maybe I’ll tell you, you thought, “Yes, I am. Now if you would excuse me I’d like to get outside before my next class starts.” He clicks his tongue, grinning, “A whole week?” Honestly you didn’t know if you should agree or hop through the opening at his side but you give him a nod and find your courage. He raises his hands in the air as if surrendering and steps to the side. Mouthing thank you, you speed walk out into the hallway. Checking the time you only had about a minute in a half until your next class.
You were at your last class, bracing yourself for one last thing to focus on. When you walked in, Jay was sitting down in the back with his friend. He sees you and waves, you wave back. All the back seats were taken so you had to pick a middle seat, looking around the only seat not taken was the one in front of Jay, Wow. you thought. You walk down the aisle, slipping into your seat. You pull out your ipad and pen and wait for class to start. You feel a tap on your shoulder knowing full well that it was Jay. You blow a bubble with the gum you still had as you turn around. Jay leans on his desk with the help of his elbows, “How has your day been?” he gives you a look that you haven’t seen in a while, a genuine, pleased, I’m so glad to see you face. You observe his face with a smile, “It’s fine, yours?” He leans back into his chair, “ I met a really cute girl today.” You give him a fake shocked look, “Oh really? What’d she look like?” He thought about it for a second then looked back at you, “She had the most beautiful hair I have ever seen,” A flush of heat comes to your face when you hear his words. Suddenly, a high pitched-voice comes from one of Jay’s friends,“Aw! That’s adorable!” A girl sitting on a guy's lap quietly applauding at Jay’s stunning message. The guy looks at the girl, “Baby, be quiet! They’re having a moment.” As the guy mouths sorry to you, the girl covers her mouth and mouths sorry too. You look back at Jay, another rush of heat goes to your face as he smiles and leans towards you, “Don’t mind those two lovebirds, they like to shove it in everyone's faces.” You could hear them giggling from all the way over here, you roll your eyes and lean further to Jay, “I’ve never had that before, to be honest with you.” He raises an eyebrow, then it comes to his mind that you're talking about a relationship. He sees you scanning his friends, taking it all in on what a wonderful relationship could be. He brings his hand to your chin shifting your attention onto him, “Waiting for the right person, right?” he glides his thumb across your cheek before pulling away. Blushing, you lower your gaze to his desk, “Yeah but it’s something I don’t focus on very much.” You give him a smile that was questionable, you knock on his desk and turn back to the front.
Class ends with little homework so that’s good. You force your ipad and pen into your bag along with your phone and headphones. Rubbing your face because of a long day, you stand up a little dizzy. You stumble but you feel big hands hold your waist gently. “Whoa, whoa, you okay?” You can hear Jay’s voice behind you. You find your balance but his hands decide to turn you around. You place your hands on his chest, “Jay, I’m ok, just got up too fast.” Finally seeing how tall he is, you blush. To approve your statement he looks down at you, trying to keep your eyes on him. He sighs, “Alright.” Brushing his hand on your hair. You feel his hot breath as he exhales knowing that would be useful for the cold weather. You couldn’t move, you didn’t want to and he didn’t either. You couldn’t keep your eyes off him, jolting your eyes from his hair to his lips, Why does he look so kissable. you thought. He looks at the wall clock, grabbing your bag that was sitting on your chair, “I’ll walk you out,” You nod. He leans towards his friend before walking off, dabbing him up, “I’mma be a few minutes but wait for me, ok?” His friend nods with a concerned look then sees him walking off with you, kind of relieved but uneasy.
Holding Jay’s hand at the end of the day was something you didn’t expect. You had eyes on you from every angle walking out of school into the courtyard. You wanted to get out of there so bad that you didn’t know you were squeezing his hand, it didn’t hurt him but it was noticeable. You round the corner of the fence with Jay close behind, “I’m sorry, I just…wanted to get out of there.” Jay takes a deep breath and leans against the fence. “Attention isn’t something you get a lot of, I’m guessing.” Offensive but he was right, you give him a small nod and pull your phone out to check it. He steps closer to you, “So, what brings you to NY?” You chuckle still looking down at your phone, “My mom.” He crosses his arms across his chest, “So you are the detective’s daughter?” You finally look up, putting your phone away back in your bag, “Yeah, after the divorce…” You blink off to the side, “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to-” Jay gently rubs your arm, “Hey, it’s ok, tell me.” You sigh in relief, “After the divorce, she got a job here. We didn’t wait a single second.” You scoff. Looking at your feet, you hesitate to speak, “I don’t even know you.” He slides his hand down to yours, bringing it to his lips, “And that’s why the date would help a lot.” You laugh as he plants a kiss on the back of your hand. Feeling his cold lips brush against you made you heat up. You’re startled by a buzz coming from your bag. Pulling your phone out, you see your mom is trying to call you, “I’m sorry, I need to take this.” He lets go of your hand and steps back, “Please, take your time.” You mouth thank you as you take a few steps away, turning away from him.
You end the call, walking back to him, “I’m sorry but I have to go.” He clicks his tongue and nods. You feel bad, walking out on him like this but your mom wanted you home for something you thought was not as important as your new friend here, “I’m really sorry-” He cupped your face, making you hold your tongue, “Stop apologizing, doll. It’s okay.” You melted in his hands, a smile tugging at your lips, “Ok, I have to go.” He slides his hands down to your neck rubbing his thumbs against your jawline, “Ok, I’ll talk to you tomorrow?” Giving him a small nod, he nods and mouths Ok. He slides his hands once more to your shoulders, giving them a squeeze. His hand runs down your arm. You both take a couple steps back looking at each other then you finally turn around to home. He watched you walk off as if it would be the last time he was going to see you, smiling, he turns around to go back to the school, My girl he thought.

whoa writing its like christmas up in here
or something like that
anyway have the first installment of the coffee shop au
---
tentacleTherapist [TT] began pestering turntechGodhead [TG] at 10:47.
TT: Dave.
TT: I went to Karkat’s place of work.
TT: That cafe. Suburban Coffee.
TG: yeah yeah
TG: sburban coffee
TG: theres no u for some reason
TG: karkat thinks that the manager ate it or some weird shit like that
TT: And there’s this girl.
TG: oh?
TT: She types so fast. So well. With such purpose.
TG: one might even say hotly
TT: Yes, Dave. She types hotly. I’m currently twirling my hair and swooning from her sheer typing prowess.
TG: whoa so swoon-worthy
TG: better have someone ready to catch you when you faint from her hot as fuck typing
TT: Come with me today. I'll show you how hot her typing is. And, you can provide a cushion from when I inevitably swoon by being in her presence.
TG: alright
TG: sure
TG: cant say no to an opportunity to get caffeine
TG: and bother karkat while were at it
tentacleTherapist [TT] ceased pestering turntechGodhead [TG] at 10:58.
The cafe is nestled between several other shops, and it announces itself with a bright green sign. Sburban Coffee, it declares in big, blocky lettering. The outside is painted an unassuming gray-brown to match the rest of its neighbors, and there are colourful flowers in flowerpots clustered by the door. In the window, Dave can make out the shapes of many, many people inside.
The door chimes happily as Dave and Rose walk inside. The strong, strong smell of coffee immediately hits Dave. Inside, the cafe is bustling, and every table has at least one person sitting. The walls are a pretty orange, and there’s a wall with potted plants sitting on shelves. He spots Karkat at the register, looking as depressed and mildly angry as he always does. There is a smiley-face sticker on the register, along with a frowny-face. He notes the crab pin on his apron. Karkat is not the type to accessorize; Dave wonders what is different about the pin. Rose tugs him into line, and Dave begins to scrutinize the menu. He never knows what to get from coffee shops. There’s too many fancy names and words to know, and he usually just defaults to a latte. However, this time he feels like he needs to branch out a bit, try something new and all that jazz.
DAVE: hey rose
DAVE: youre smart
DAVE: whats an americano
DAVE: is it like
DAVE: essence de la america
DAVE: does it taste like eagles and football
DAVE: and FREEDOM
DAVE: its not tea right i dont want to be unpatriotic
DAVE: gotta make ol g washy proud
ROSE: It’s an espresso drink diluted with water.
ROSE: Now shush. Look over there.
ROSE: That's the girl.
Dave subtly looks over in the direction Rose indicates. The person in question has their back to him, but he can see that they’re wearing an emerald sweater and a long skirt. They also have the Lesbian Haircut™. He can see why Rose likes them. Rose pulls him forward again as the line moves up. They are now second in line, and Dave still doesn’t know what he wants. He sticks his hands in his pockets and does the patented Cool Guy Slouch to hide his indecision and decides to look at Karkat instead. He can’t imagine a guy like Karkat working at a coffee shop, yet here he is. Green apron, gray sweater. Dave doesn’t think he’s ever seen Karkat wear anything different. He might be an escaped extra from a cartoon TV show. Dave idly wonders why he’d liked Karkat back in high school. He seems all cool and tough from the outside but he’s really just a big, pathetic nerd with an extra large side of wet-cattiness.
BARISTA: hey, i can take you guys over here!
Dave stops staring awkwardly at Karkat and instead turns his attention to things like moving. He studies the barista at their register as they walk over.
His first impression: oh, she’s cute.
Man, what was that line of thought?? He internally winces. Anyway. Lame thoughts aside, the barista is very put together, at least in comparison to Karkat. Granted, the bar is low. So low, in fact, it could be a speed bump. Her name tag cheerfully declares her name as Jade in loopy green handwriting, along with a plant sticker. Colorful pins flash at him from her apron.
ROSE: Dave.
ROSE: Are you going to order?
Dave blinks, startled out of his thoughts. He decides to go for something smooth, suave, dare he say, even cool?
DAVE: uh yeah
DAVE: hey love
DAVE: shit
DAVE: i mean
DAVE: lovely lady?
Dave begins questioning all his life choices, and contemplates throwing himself out the window. Actually, no, it’s a first floor window. That’d just be embarassing. He might catch fire instead. That’s a better option. One flaming hot Dave, coming right up. It would be better than whatever this train wreck of a conversation is.
Thankfully, the barista – Jade – is far cooler than he is, and just laughs.
JADE: hey yourself, good sir
JADE: what can i get you
DAVE: i was hoping you had a recommendation for me
JADE: uhh, well
Jade turns to look at the board behind her, ponytail swinging. Dave takes this moment to regain his composure, ignoring the look Rose is undoubtedly giving him. The eyebrows are so totally up. He can feel their skeptical vibes. He rearranges his face to that of a distant, aloof expression. What flaming dumpster fire? There is only Dave. Cool Dave. He is so calm and composed. Everybody wants to be him when they grow up. Jade turns back around.
JADE: i think the cinnamon caramel chai is pretty good!!
DAVE: alright ill take that
JADE: your drinks will be ready in a minute
Rose pays, and Dave absconds walks calmly over to an empty table and claims it, taking the seat that puts his back to the register. Totally not because of what jsut happened.. After a moment, Rose slides into the chair opposite him.
ROSE: Dave.
ROSE: What was that?
DAVE: what was what you saw nothing there was no dumpster fire
DAVE: besides youre one to talk miss she types hotly huh huh
DAVE: shut up rose put those eyebrows away or ill shave them off in your sleep
ROSE: Dave, I haven’t seen you this bad since-
DAVE: DONT EVEN SAY IT HES RIGHT THERE
Smooth, Dave. Now everyone in the cafe is looking at you, probably even Karkat. He melts into his chair. Can this get any worse? He looks over at the register, checking to see if their drinks are done. Karkat is looking in their direction, vaguely confused. The poor barista that Dave totally ruined any chances he had with her has disappeared. Maybe she ran for the hills from the total weirdo that she just met. Oh, nope, there she is, shaking a bottle of milk. He pretends to stare off into space, in a cool fashion. Out of the corner of his eye, though, he studies her again. He hadn’t gotten much of a chance to before, as he’d been otherwise occupied. Jade is a fairly tall girl with long, dark hair currently up in a ponytail that swings every time she moves. She has round glasses and a pretty smile. Unlike Karkat, she is wearing a tasteful orange shirt with her apron. He notes that she and Karkat move around each other easily – which surprises Dave – and while he can’t hear their conversation, they appear to be chatting. Karkat doesn’t like most people. Dave considers himself one of the lucky few that get to be Karkat’s friend.
---
Well, that was weird, Jade thinks as she begins making the latest coffee order: a latte with four shots of espresso, with a little dark roast on top. She’s a little worried for the girl who’d just ordered it. She hopes that she isn’t responsible for her inevitable death by sheer amount of caffeine. Reaching around Karkat (who gives her a salty look that she knows holds no real bite) for the pitcher, she begins to fill it with water. Beside her, Karkat shifts, and she knows he’s about to ask her about what just happened.
KARKAT: HEY JADE, WHAT HAPPENED?
Called it. Jade has what she likes to call her “KARKAT SENSE.” She can always tell when he’s going to do something particularly weird, which to be fair is pretty much just Karkat’s natural state.
JADE: with the sunglasses dude?
JADE: poor guy i feel bad for him
JADE: he looked like he might die of embarassment
KARKAT: WHAT’D THAT IDIOT DO?
JADE: oh, do you know him?
She pours the water into the espresso machine and starts it, putting a cup underneath. While she waits, she begins to steam the milk.
KARKAT: UNFORTUNATELY, YEAH.
KARKAT: HE’S A FRIEND FROM HIGH SCHOOL.
JADE: oh nice!!
JADE: well i think he was trying to be cool or something
JADE: he tried to say [bad dave impression] hey lovely lady
JADE: but he called me love instead
JADE: it was kind of sad
KARKAT: WHAT A FUCKING LOSER. I CANT BELIEVE I WAS EVER INTO HIM.
JADE: wait, really?
JADE: i cant picture you with him
JADE: he doesnt seem like your type
KARKAT: AND HE ISN’T.
KARKAT: I WOULD NEVER DATE SOMEONE SO LAME.
Jade snorts derisively, and begins to pour the steamed milk over the four shots of espresso.
JADE: like youre that much cooler
JADE: just yesterday i watched you rant for about 20 minutes about spilling some milk on your shirt
JADE: youre just as lame!! admit it
KARKAT: OH FUCK YOU.
KARKAT: YOU ARENT COOL EITHER.
JADE: true, but at least i don’t go around pretending i am
KANAYA: Karkat Shes Right
KANAYA: You Would Be So Much Cooler If You Stopped Trying So Hard
KANAYA: Watching You Is A Little Pathetic
KARKAT: I HATE YOU ALL.
Jade just laughs and gives Karkat an affectionate whack on the back as she goes to set the now finished Latte of Death on the pick-up counter. He grumbles and steps on her toes as he moves past her to the register, serving the next undercaffeinated customer.

THE BABYSITTER
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SUMMARY: your mom is starting to talk about getting a job and making your own money to spend. you start babysitting Karen Wheeler’s daughter for just the money. turns out you have another reason.
pt2 pt3
PARINGS: mike wheeler x cheerleader!black!reader
DETAILS: fluff and mike being absolutely smitten
Tumblr media
“that’s it you’re getting a job y/n.”
here’s what happened. you spent a lot of money on your mom’s card and she said if you did that again you would be forced to get a job, obviously you didn’t listen, and spent a lot of money on some new shoes that you probably were only going to wear once. “but mom-“
“don’t but mom me. don’t worry I got the perfect job for you.” Your mom then walked over to the telephone and started to dial a number. “hi, karen?” You stood by her, listening to the conversation.
“yes well I heard your looking for a babysitter for holly and I know my daughter y/n would be happy to volunteer.” Your eyes widen as you listened to what she was saying. A babysitter?! Really? I mean if this means you would be making money I guess you’re up for anything.
“okay great! bye.” Your mom says before hanging up the phone. she then turned to you and spoke. “this can be good for you, you can finally learn some responsibility.” You huffed in annoyance and headed your room.
“hey y/n.” Chrissy’s sweet voice fills your ears as you are sitting at the lunch table with the rest of the squad. “hey chris what’s up?” You and Chrissy are best friends since forever but when Jason came along it seemed as if you two were drifting away. Jason. You never liked Jason. Even though he was with Chrissy you would often caught him looking at you up and down or taking a look up you skirt while practice, it was disgusting but you never had the heart to tell Chrissy.
“wanna hang out after school? i was going to ask jason but he had other plans with the boys.” You wanted nothing more but to keep her company other than her dick boyfriend but just when you were about to say yes you remembered you have to babysit now.
“oh m’so sorry but I gotta babysit karen wheeler’s kid tonight.” You saw how chrissy’s face dropped in disappointment. you started to feel bad so you quickly said. “next time though.” She nodded and started a conversation with another person. This babysitting job is already ruining your life.
And if anything could get worse Jason came to the table. Chrissy stood up from her seat and walked over to Jason. He pulled her into a kiss making eye contact with you behind her shoulder . You mentally threw up with the bedroom eyes he was giving you. “hey babe.” Chrissy says smiling up at him. “hey Chrissy.” Jason then turned to you.
“hey y/n.” You nodded in response before he started to walk away. “isn’t he wonderful?” Chrissy beamed. You put on a fake smile and nodded.
Jason is a dick.
After school you headed to the wheeler’s to start your job. As you walked up to the the door you dreaded it but it’s worth the money.
and learning responsibility as your mom would say.
Once you made it to the door you rang the doorbell, waiting and fiddling with the hem of your cheerleader skirt. The door then swings open to reveal Mrs.Wheeler and it looked like she was in a hurry. “hi y/n come in.” and with that you walked in the house with Mrs Wheeler closing the door behind you. “holly is in the living room and we have food just in case you get hungry.” You nodded as she was walking towards the door but came to a halt as if she forgot something to say.
“also my son Mike will be home soon he went out with a friend.” You mumbled a okay as she left the house. You began to make your way to the living room where holly was. When you walked in you saw holly playing with some building blocks. “Hi holly I’m y/n.” Surprisingly she smiled at you. Most kids stickers their tongues out or make mean gestures. “hi mom says you’re a cheerleader,”
“yep that’s true.”
“I want to be a cheerleader one day.” She says while playing with the blocks. “well I think you have it in you.” Holly looked up at you and beamed when you said that. Maybe this babysitting job won’t be that hard. You never had a good experience with children let’s just leave it at that.
-
after moments of making jokes and playing with holly’s hair you came to a conclusion that maybe babysitting wouldn’t be as bad as you thought.
“I’m home.” The voice said throughout the house. Suddenly someone came into the living room. You look up to see a boy, he was beautiful. his sharp facial features, his curly raven locks, his freckles, jawline. You guy stared at each other for a little bit until someone interrupted. “why are you two staring at each other?” Holly’s voice put you out of your trance. “um I’m y/n holly’s baby sitter.”
“oh uh I’m mike.” Mike couldn’t help but to look at the skin that wasn’t covered by your skirt which was your thighs. His eyes scanned your plush brown thighs as his eyes wandered up to your hair which was in ponytail tied with a gold ribbon. “you’re a cheerleader?”
“yeah at Hawkins High.” Your heart was pounding as you scanned over his body stopping when you saw the Hellfire Club shirt he was wearing. “you’re apart of that one club? Hellfire?” Mike looked down at his shirt then back up at you with a frown.
“probably think we’re freaks like everyone else.”
you immediately began shaking your head no. “no I think it’s kinda cool.” mike’s eyes sparkled as he just stared at you completely smitten. “well I’ll see you around.” He says leaving to go to his room not breaking eye contact with you.
“yeah.”
“that was weird.” You rolled your eyes playfully at holly. “how about I finish that braid in your hair huh?” holly nodded then you continued with one person on your mind.
Mike Wheeler.

Discreet Regression Advice Many kiddos/pets/dreamers, much like me, prefer to regress in secret! I wanted to share some tips that have always helped me keep my regression comfortable and discreet! 1. If you don’t have access to pacis, then ringpops are a great alternative! And there are lots of sour pacifier pops out there! If you prefer teethers instead, then hard candy/scones/biscuits are a good substitute! 2. Collectibles are your friends!! I personally collect squishmallows and squishies, but there are a ton of plushies, squishies, rubber ducks, etc out there that are collectible! That way, there isnt much suspicion if you have them, as you can say your a collector! 3. Disney, Pixar, Studio Ghibli, and Sailor Moon are all good ways to watch kids shows and movies without raising a lot of suspicion, since you can say its a good anime, or if its Disney, Pixar, and Studio Ghibli, you can say your just checking out the new films! And if you pet regress, nature documentaries are really nice! 4. Overalls, skirts, bright and soft colors, etc are all pretty easy to wear without suspicion, as you can say you just like the style! 5. Water bottles can feel like sippies, and they dont draw any suspicion! You can even decorate them with stickers and stuff! 6. Music can really help! Playing soft music, Disney songs, Animal Crossing songs, etc tend to help me, and no one seems to notice, especially if you wear headphones. 7. Adult coloring books! They can give you lots of enjoyment without the suspicion! And there’s lots that arent super detailed! 8. If you pet regress, then nature documentaries, going outside, blankets, and vegetables/fruits/animal shaped crackers can help! Obviously this changes from animal to animal, so do whatever works for you! 9. And most importantly: Regress in a way that works for YOU! I regress this way, and these tips wont help everyone! No regression is the same, and all regression is valid! Feel free to add onto this!
This blog is Child Friendly! If you wouldn’t show your blog to a kid, don’t show/interact here please!

REQUEST 1#:
A/N: this request is for my mutual @qt-isa, who i know irl! (they're also a fugitive who's hiding from the pigs in texas for a myriad of crimes: here's a news report all about it) all relationships are platonic, but you could probably read some bunny out of this if you wanted to, please enjoy!
𝔱𝔯𝔞𝔫𝔰𝔣𝔢𝔪!𝔪𝔞𝔯𝔧𝔬𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔢 𝔥𝔠𝔰!! ☆彡
Tumblr media
marj isn’t out to her parents yet (and probably never will be; that is suicide) so she changes her outfits depending on who she’s with
not ideal, but much better on her mental health than she was doing before
can’t really grow her hair out super long, so she uses a assortment of wigs and a knowledge of hairstyles that she can do
she loves using fairy tinsel in her hair, something she learned from babysitting karen
her favorite colors are baby blue, light pink, and lilac
she dots her i’s with hearts
she loves wearing tulle skirts and oversized sweaters
she loves dresses and skirts in general, especially if they’re fun to twirl in
typically wears her regular shoes everywhere, but she would wear ballet shoes and kitten heels if given the chance
as for how the main 4 feel;
STAN: has kind of a kinship towards her, as he is questioning gender himself
but he doesn’t really treat marj any differently than he did before
KYLE: is somewhat confused and does require some explaining of what being transgender actually means (as he doesn’t have the best experience with trans issue what)
grows to hate misgendering though
CARTMAN: he does make fun and misgender marjorine sometimes
not solely because he’s transphobic but because he does that to everyone
he’s noticeably uncomfortable with her at first, but after kyle gave him a verbal lashing, he got over that, or at least doesn’t disclose it anymore
he will still pretend to be “world’s best trans ally” when it benefits him, which pisses off Kyle to no degree
KENNY: he doesn’t really care how marjorine identifies
labels aren’t really a thing he uses and while he doesn’t have a full grasp of everything, he still refers to marjorine as a girl
is willing to kick someone’s ass if they give her a tough time
he feels like it’s none of anyone’s business and that it doesn’t matter what others feel and think, as long as she’s happy with herself
marjorine still plays hello kitty adventure, even though she’s leveled to the max and she’s done everything that one can possibly do in the game
it’s just fun for her to tend to her little pixel garden
she grows more spine over the years
you kinda have to when you’re a visible minority in a town like south park
the scar caused by the ninja star in her eye has faded in time, but it’s still pretty noticeable
she used to cover it up with foundation when she was younger, but now is proud to enhance it with eyeshadow
she has a glass eye from the experience that she’ll sometimes put stickers on
is a huge fan of stickers and glitter and uses them whenever she can
this gets slightly annoying with stan’s gang but they can’t really do anything
overall, marjorine is a lot happier with her life than she was in 4th grade.
it isn’t prefect yet, but it’s as close as it can be, and that’s good enough for her
A/N: this is the first time i’ve actually wrote down my headcanons in a coherent list and it was a really fun process! i apologize if it’s not as great as it could be, but I feel like I will get better with practice. feel free to leave me constructive criticism in the tags/comments, I appreciate anything you can give, as it only help me in the future.
as always, if you have any headcanon/fanfic prompts (especially ones pertaining to style!) you want me to write about, feel free to send them over! as long as they follow the master list’s guidelines, i’d be happy to oblige!
take care!

I got a little carried away for the charity toy drive and you’re the very overwhelmed but happy volunteer for Sunset Skater, please?
The day had been bad so far. Hell, the week had been bad so far. It was getting harder and harder to keep a cheerful smile on his face. They'd pulled out all the stops earlier in the day (and by that he meant some sick-ass yoyo tricks and juggling), but a lot of people had walked away once they got a better look at his table. One lady had told them he should be ashamed of himself.
He was thinking maybe he should just give up. He could get the money some other way. Maybe even crawl back to Caleb and admit they did need their trust fund after all. Not for him, but he couldn't bare the thought of any of the kids not getting presents this year.
Then, he heard it.
"Hang on guys, Alex is being drawn to a rainbow flag like a gay moth to a fabulous flame!" a guy in a leather jacket called over his shoulder, following a cute boy in a hoodie and a fanny pack.
"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear you say that," the guy complained, even though he was heading right Willie's way.
"Hi!" he said in their most perky volunteer voice. "I'm here on behalf of the Ortega Home for LGBTQ Youths, for our charity toy drive!"
"Oh my god it's one of those wish trees!" the guy in the leather jacket said, bouncing up to the tree next to the table. "I've always wanted to do one of these! And now we have like, money!" He looked so excited, it was adorable. At the last second though, he pulled his hand back. Oh no. Not again.
But the guy just turned to them and said, shyly: "Can I?"
"Yeah, totally!" Willie said. "We have wishes from kids of various ages in the tree."
"There's so many of them," Fanny Pack said. "Are the ones that have already been filled still up there?"
The perky volunteer voice slipped. "I'm afraid not. A lot of people see the flag, or read the cards, and suddenly the giving spirit leaves them." Perhaps this was the wrong mall to set up in, or something. But it was the only one he'd been able to get a permit for. The blonde guy looked sad, then squared his shoulders.
"We'll take five," he said, before turning and whistling. Out of nowhere, three other people popped up. "Each."
"To start," Leather Jacket said happily, already plucking cards out of the tree. "Oooh, this one is mine." He held up a card decorated in little trans and heart stickers. "B, age seven, wants a puppy and sparkly nail polish. Same!"
"What are we doing?" A guy with very impressive biceps said. "I thought we were going to the music store?"
"Wish tree," Fanny Pack said. "Queer wish tree."
With a tiny pout, Biceps muttered how he guessed the music store could wait.
"This one is for Alex," Leather Jacket declared. "Because it's written in sparkly pink gel pen." He passed it over. Fanny Pack, or Alex, read the card.
"No, this one is for Luke," he said. "K, 17, wants a guitar, a record player, and Julie and the Phantom's new LP." Biceps pretty much vibrated out of his skin, snatching up the card and practically running over to where the music store was. Willie didn't even have a chance to explain they didn't need to purchase everything on the card.
"Aaaand we've lost Luke to the music store," the exceptionally pretty person in red suspenders said. They were wearing a pleated leather skirt and torn leggings and amazing eyeliner and Willie kind of wanted to steal their entire look.
"If we find any more music related cards, I'll take them over to him later," the girl said, joining Leather Jacket at the tree. "This one's for you, Bobby. E, 15, nonbinary, wants a pretty, flowy skirt size 8, some dark lipstick, and a cool necklace."
"Bobby knows what's cool," Leather Jacket agreed.
They picked over the tree, more and more cards being handed out among the friend group. They all introduced themselves, asking Willie about the charity. He told them about Ortega House, about the support groups they had, the art therapy program he volunteered at, and the kids who lived there permanently after being kicked out for being, well, not-cis, not-straight.
Julie grabbed her phone and started texting someone named Flynn for a 'consult on the best make-up for dark skin tones' for J, 16. She had two neat stacks of cards on the table, a few with make-up and clothing requests, and a few music related ones for Luke.
Bobby ('he, they, she, please' she said when she noticed Willie’s he/they name sticker) got all the 'cool and edgy teen' cards, according to the others, and Alex grabbed a few that requested books and art supplies. Reggie ended up picking every single card for kids under ten, before running off to the toy store and shouting at them he'd 'be right back!'
"It's because he's never grown up," Alex said fondly.
"It's because he finally has an excuse to sneak in that new Star Wars Lego Set while we're not watching," Bobby grumbled.
One by one, the people left, and he ended up sitting next to the nearly empty tree, texting Kenny, Dante, and Fuego about what had just happened. There were a lot of emojis and exclamation points.
Alex was the first to arrive back. He had several bags filled with books, along with two rolls of... sparkly unicorn wrapping paper. He looked embarrassed. "You don't have to use it," he said. "I just saw it and thought it would be nice. I still need to hit up the art store for the rest, but..."
"This is amazing," Willie said. "You guys are... I mean... I thought we wouldn't be able to do it, that I'd failed, and you and your friends totally saved the day. Thank you."
Alex flushed rather prettily, and gave a sweet smile. "I wish I'd had a place like Ortega House when I came out," he told Willie. "I think we all do, probably." He made an exasperated face. "And Luke will take any excuse to spend more time in the music store."
"Your boyfriend?" Willie asked, because he was stupid, because they couldn't not, because he'd rather know now than before he made a fool out of themselves in front of this cute guy by slipping him their number and never getting called.
"One of them," Alex said, before looking flustered and hurrying off to the art store.
Oh. Well, maybe that meant he still had a shot.
Julie was back next, along with another girl, the infamous Flynn. She started grilling him about the Ortega House social media presence almost immediately, satisfied when he gave her a little pamphlet with all their information on the back. She disappeared off to the food court, declaring she would be back later with donuts.
"I'm going to go bring Luke his other cards now, before he buys out the entire store to give to K, 17," Julie said, amused, and left.
Reggie was the next person to arrive back, carrying so many bags he was waddling slightly.
"I may have gone a little overboard," he admitted. "But there was so much cool stuff, and really, who doesn't want a colour-changing dinosaur, huh?" He showed Willie the box. "Also, can I hide this Lego set under your table so the others don’t see it?"
Willie grinned, lifting up the table cloth and miming zipping his lips when Reggie slid the Star Wars Lego set under it. Reggie happily flopped down in the chair next to him and started helping him sort out the gifts, arranging them on the table behind him by the little cards. They chatted, and Reggie told him all about the others, about how they lived together, how they were in a band.
Willie subtly tried to figure out who was dating who, and if he maybe had a shot with Alex (or honestly, any of them). Reggie just happily rattled off a bunch of names. “Sometimes Alex says we need some kind of flow chart,” he said, gently placing the floppy stuffed dog on top of a pile. “But I don’t think it’s too hard to remember.”
“That’s because you’re literally dating everyone, Reginald,” Bobby said as they came back to the table, dropping her bags on the table. Reggie beamed, leaning over to bat his eyes at her. “These are all sorted by card, the card’s in the bag with the items. Now where’s the box?”
“I have no idea what you mean,” Reggie said, trying and failing to look not look guilty.
“The Lego Star Wars Set,” Bobby said, leaning over and giving Reggie a Look. He didn’t even flinch when Reggie leaned over to kiss his forehead. “I know you have it.”
“I can neither confirm nor deny,” Reggie said. “Oh look there’s Luke and Julie!” He pointed excitedly, and when Bobby looked away, nudged the box a little further under the table.
Luke, and Julie, who were not just carrying bags, but had stolen two shopping carts from a nearby store. There was a hot pink electric guitar (he was guessing for Katie), an amp, thee acoustic guitars, a keyboard with stand, a flute, a whole stack of ‘for beginners’ books, two record players, a radio slash CD player, and more CDs and records than Willie knew what to do with.
“Oh my god,” Bobby whispered. “I knew we should have sent Alex with him to keep him in check.”
“I dunno, I think this is exactly what these kids deserve,” Alex said happily, grinning when Bobby jumped and then punched him in the shoulder. He deposited the three large bags of art supplies on the table (sketchbooks and paints and brushes and the Good coloured pencils and oh god those were so expensive, these people were insane or angels or both.)
“I got some extra stuff,” Luke said. “You know, just some music I thought the kids would like, based on what they were asking for.” Next to him, Julie rolled her eyes.
“This is amazing,” Willie whispered. He wasn’t sure if anyone heard him, though, because Luke started to accost Alex, who pushed him away and fished a bunch of markers out of his fanny back with a ‘you could just ask!’
Then, he spread out a bunch of records on the table and started... defacing each one? No, not defacing. Signing them with a blue marker. Alex handed out the other markers (red for Reggie, white for Bobby, purple for Julie, and he kept a pink one for himself) and followed suit. Willie squinted at the records.
“Oh,” he managed. “You’re Julie and the Phantoms.”
“Tell your friends!” Reggie chirped, throwing him a wink.
“If Luke got too many and not all the kids are interested, a fully signed record can net your charity about 500 bucks on eBay, last I checked,” Bobby said. “Just space them out a little.”
“Also,” Julie said, checking her phone. “Flynn posted the links to your online donation drive on our socials, and she’ll be back with donuts and to take some pictures of us all, it’ll be good publicity for you.”
Oh my god Katie was going to flip. Kenny was going to flip.
“Oooh, I want sprinkles,” Reggie said. “Tell her I want sprinkles!”
“She knows, baby.”
“I just...” Willie said. How was any of this happening? He knows he should be like, channeling his inner Caleb, glad-handing and maybe securing a yearly donation, or a charity concert, or a freaking meet-and-greet with the kids. But they were just a lowly art therapist and honestly they were about to start crying and...
“Hey, we’re sorry,” Alex said. “We should have asked first.”
“No it’s... this is perfect.” They wiped at their eyes with a sleeve furiously. “This is all so perfect, the kids are going to be so happy.”
“You know,” Reggie said. “If you give Alex your number, we could maybe keep in touch. Hear what the kids thought.”
“Maybe set up a charity concert or something!” Luke piped up.
“And a date,” Bobby said, smirking when Alex went as pink as his hoodie.
“Really?” Willie whispered, awed.
At the end of the day, he sent out several texts. One in the Volunteer group chat, of him and the piles and piles of donations, and a request to please come help him get this all back to Ortega House. One to Kenny about the whole ‘so I met a famous band and they posted the charity to their socials, you’re welcome and also call this nice lady called Flynn to discuss a charity concert’ and one to Dante and Fuego in all caps that just said I’M GOING ON A DATE WITH THREE OR MAYBE FOUR PEOPLE and seventeen different emojis.

Marilyn Ming Xia
Every time I post a new Junzhe Extended Universe fig, I become completely convinced I need to watch the show the fig is from, immediately. Case in point with this cutie!
This is Zhang Zhehan as Ming Xia from Demon Girl, all dolled up:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love his pretty flowered hat! And of course, his delightful smile. I love how he hides his face behind his hat here and then takes it off for the face reveal!
WARNING
****************************************************************
Yes, those are the Spice Stars (tm) that are here to warn you! Before we go further down the pics, we have a totally non-spicy (zero jalapenos on the spice-ometer, I'm not kidding) NSFW pic way down below, as in, I wouldn't want anyone at my work seeing it up on my phone. As in, it might be very awkward. As in, the time it would take to explain would be nothing I would wish on anyone! So just be warned!
Tumblr media
I was a little worried with the edges on the dress and the flowered hat that he might sustain some damage in traveling, but I'm starting to suspect that some of these figs are actually a lot tougher than I expected (or that the polystyrene, when cut correctly, is really great for cushioning and protecting).
Tumblr media
And here he is, as cute as can be! He needs both hands to hold his dress down, so no holding onto his flowered hat.
Tumblr media
There was not a prayer this fig would remotely stand on it's own, because this fig is wearing high heels! With a tiny kitten heel, no less. Also, there was so little real estate on the balls of the foot on this fig that this immediately got glued. I didn't dare think I could cut a small enough portion of a fig sticker that would actually hold the fig upright.
Tumblr media
I really love the swirl of the skirt on the dress!
Tumblr media
I put this fig against an off-white background, since i was afraid it wouldn't pop quite enough against a white background.
Tumblr media
Very classic Marilyn pose! You see what I mean about the little heels here, right? This is also a great shot of the flowers in the hat.
Tumblr media
Oops! getting a little peek at the undergarments there. So saucy, Ming Xia!
Tumblr media
I love his chubby little chibi legs. What a cutie!
Tumblr media
I think the fig maker did a great job on the hat. The figs have such enormous melons of heads that any head accessory has to be big enough to match (if it's going on the head) or else it looks a bit off. This looks perfect without overpowering, which may also because the coifing of the hair is so dramatic.
Tumblr media
I took a bit of a different angle this time, a little bit from the top down so you could see the detail on the front of the dress.
Tumblr media
Alright, this pose really isn't meant to be as pervy as it looks! I have to do the bottoms-up shot of the fig for accurate documentation!
I was going to make some comments on how nice the underside of the heels were and the blushing on the knees, but I'm gonna move RIGHT along now...
Tumblr media
Ahh much better! A cute flowered hat, so nice.
Tumblr media
No box here - he came in just a plain white box. I love the box card art though, just delightful. You can see the wind that is gusting around to cause some trouble with this pretty blue dress!
There is a Xu Si fig that the fig maker sold separately, but the same time as this fig. I think he goes perfectly together! He just arrived in my warehouse yesterday, so I it'll probably be a month or so before he lands on my doorstep. When he does I'll bump him to the front of the line!
Material: Resin
Fig Count: 350
Scene Count: 24
Rating: 5 fancy hat flowers out of 5! 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

here r some more silly things about yaonggi because I’ve been thinking about my splat oc for the past four days
she has always liked music a LOT, but never wanted to be in a famous band. in her spare time she makes weird low bass breakcore with a ton of classical instruments and chopped up vocals. koya is her favorite person to pull clips from, followed very closely by old enemy octoling recordings.
she’s actually a pretty angry person, despite being super cheerful and a lot calmer nowadays! she does crave Violence, but doesn’t want that to be how people see her anymore. The music thing is how she expresses that. all of her visuals are of extinct predators
her name is probably not her original name. Kitt and Charlie helped her with it, she doesn’t remember what it was
she is obsessed w button up shirts. they’re so loose and colorful
she cannot stand skirts. they are too loose and colorful
She has webbed fingers and toes! I based her off a blanket octopus mostly, she cuts her tentacles shorter, but is a Fast swimmer and if she let her hair grow out it would grow down like ribbons in the back. And because she’s a blanket octopus she has poison resistance (they are immune to Portuguese man o war venom!) and could shake off marginally more of the zombification thing than was expected. She’s still preddy lucky
her snaggletooth is not a species thing. She just has a huge fang for no reason.
she has a fondness for salmon run. Also, must check the entire map before anyone starts, just in case there’s someone there. she doesn’t want anyone to do what she did
her favorite food is cup noodle because that’s the first surface food she had with a friend. But her second favorite food is salmon also she tried to eat little buddy at first
for the first few months she stuck very close to Charlie just because everything was REALLY new and she did not speak a SINGLE word of inklish. Besides scattered lyrics, anyways. Charlie is pretty intimidating looking, like an experienced bodyguard in x rank, but she’s a sweetheart. And a bit of a goober. Who taught her how to make puns
dualies main. She likes the dodge
i should make a cute ref… meruz has a cute ref template
anyways
yaonggi also really loves stickers and grilled food, and even though she tends to wear one pair of shoes into the ground, she makes sure they are COOL sneakers
she has a faded greenish stain on her right forearm and a faint offcolor splotch on her chest
she likes to stain her claws bright colors, it was an octarian fashion statement and dang it she likes how it looks. Sometimes she stains the entire forearm and hand too
she thinks lil Judd is really cute. she wants to pet him every time she sees him. kinship
she also thinks deep cut is REALLY COOL, and wouldn’t have minded doing the bandit thing WITH them… unfortunately she, isn’t that familiar with off the hook or squid sisters. She thinks capt 3 is cool though. Maybe a bit of a loser, but a really cool loser.
she still kinda thinks the world of dj octavio. she didn’t want to fight him
still doesn’t get the sleeping in thing. Does get the staying up late thing. This is a problem
she sucks at tableturf. she threw the table at baby jelly and apologized PROFUSELY

It is Time. It is time to talk about my Obey Me Mc.
So, y'all are gone hate me for this, but their name......drumroll please.....
Mckaylie.
Which can be shorted be Mc!!
Ok  but really I just thought it would be hilarious to name them something that can be shortened to Mc. Because like. Everyone calls the maim character Mc. This is probably only funny to me but I'm sticking with it. Can also be called Kaylie/Kay.
I haven't actually probably drawn em yet, but I've been obsessed with Picrew lately and made a few that looks the most like them.
Their pronouns are they/she.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Physical description: a warm body tone and a bright amber red hair color. Their hair is dyed that color. They have olive green eyes and ha few tiny freckles on their nose. Their hair is long and tied in a high pony tail. Not pictured is their hair tie that has two ends the shot up like bunny ears. Their color palette is red and green. If theyre not wearing their RAD uniform theyre wearing their baggy green jacket and a black crop top with a red skirt, black thigh highs, and grey shoes. They wear a ribbon choker and dangling earrings, usually childish ones such a frogs, aliens, or cherries.
They're absolutely an chaotic little shit that's only like, 5'3. When they're not hiding "I believe" aliens stickers around the house of Lamentation and RAD they're actually really sweet! The hypeman every friend group needs. Their thoughtfulness comes out in big loud ways, and also in small silent ways too. They like to tag along with Mammon when he goes to photo shots, always there to hype him up behind the camera. Asmo and them have frequent gossip sessions while they do each other's nails and talk about RAD. They stay up all night listening to Levi ramble about anime, giving in their input whenever there's a pause to show that they're still listening. If they notice Lucifer's light still on they'll go and make him a cup of coffee before sitting down and helping him with his paperwork.
They were also very really angry at Belphie for killing them. But I swear that's a whole new post because I have THOUGHTS about that lol.
They're also incredible curious. Wanting to know anything and everything about the Devildom, and also the people around them.  If they were a avatar of sin themselves, they would be the avatar of curiosity.
I tired to base my Mc on the Mc we play as in game rather than, myself. Which is the reasoning behind why they're such a hype man. (For some reason in a lot of events most your dialog is just hyping other characters up? Like in the recent egg event the second chapter is just you telling the characters how good theyre taking care of their pets. I can't go though that without creating a Mc whose like that lol)
As for why they're curious, Mc in game is also just really nosy? So I thought it would be funny if the reason why my Mc is so curious is because that's their sin.
Moving onto my other Oc, here is Vincent/Vin. Ok so Kaylie had this childhood best friend before getting yoinked into the Devildom, and that's Vincent.
Kaylie is like, 20 at the start of the game. Highschool really burnt them out so they didn't go to collage immediately after. But when they turn 20 they decide to give it another shot and starts implying to schools. They kind of just applied to a bunch of them and one of them happened to be RAD. Which is how you get the letter asking you sign it and send it back in game. It also explains why Lucifer has a file of you.
Since Kaylie left returning all letters till the last minute, they accidentally sign their name and sent it back.
When the year is up and they return home, they reunite with Vincent and tell him basically everything that happened during their year away. Vincent is not happy about the whole "demons kidnapped my best friend, stuck them in a school were demons talked about eating them, threatened, almost killed, and actually killed" thing. No matter how chill Mckaylie is about it.
But Vincent can see how much they miss their demons, and when the idea of going back to the Devildom comes up, he agrees to come back with them so they don't have to chose between him or their demons.
I haven't gotten to season 2 yet but I imagine that most of the plot is just "Vincent being lowkey pissed at the demons 24/7 while also being extremely cuddly towards Kaylie because they were gone for an entire YEAR! While Kaylie is just there trying to get their favorite people to get along."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Image description of Vincent: a pale skin tone with a beauty mark right under his left eye. His ears have multiple piercings and are frequently decked out. His hair is a messy of washed out blue from a dye job that never filly went away. His eye color is a deep blue. He always wears a tried expression on his face that squints a lot. This is because he doesn't have 20/20 vision but refuses to get glasses because he doesn't want to look like a nerd. His color palette is blue and yellow, with him frequently wearing yellow tee shirts and long sleeves. Besides wearing yellow he also likes pastels, and can wear a myriad of crazy colors. While Kaylie's colors are usually dark besides her hair, Vincent's the opposite, having deep dark hair and likes to wear light colors. He also likes funny graphic teas like hello kitty or egg print tees.
Personality wise Vincent is often labeled as dry or mellow, but has a fighting spirit if you piss him off. He can be quite controlling and stubborn, but backs off immediately if he notices he's upsetting the other person. He doesn't have much shame and will say what's on his mind often, often complimenting and admitting how much Kaylie means to him.
As for his and Kaylie's dynamic. They're childhood friends which means that they know that they're always going to be friends. Since they had so many fights growing up they know that no matter what they say to each other, in the end they will always apologize. So they don't have any issues with calling the other out on their bullshit. Vincent can read Kaylie very easily and knows when she's putting up with stuff that males her uncomfortable to be nice, while Kaylie can tell when Vincent is being manipulative and controlling because he's doing what he thinks is best. Probably slept together like, twice before realizing that they were better as friends. Vincent is surprisingly the Responsible One(tm) because Kaylie is so chaotic and also very clumsy. Frequently held back Kaylie from walking into traffic because she wasn't looking where she was going. While Kaylie stops Vincent from punching anyone that pisses him off.
Tumblr media
(And that's all for now!! Wanted to get my Mc out there because I'm thinking of writing some fics solely focused on her because I have ideas!! As y'all can probably tell lol. If any of y'all want the Picrews for any of these just lemme know I should have all of them on file)

<Chapter One - Chapter Three>
Chapter Two - How Many More Days Until Spring Break
ONE MORE WEEK until Eunbyeol would be free from the confines of the classroom and released into the holiday break.  She’d opted to wear sweatpants under her skirt and a heavy jacket to cover her arms.  The chill of winter was in full swing and Christmas was just around the corner.  The classroom was decorated with stickers on the windows and garlands hanging from the ceiling.  A small tree sat in the back corner of the room, slowly being piled up with gifts for the secret santa gift exchange.  She’d gotten her person a stationary set and, although she hadn’t looked yet, she was curious who drew her name.  She wouldn’t care who it was, as long as it wasn’t him.
Just like she’d feared from the moment she saw him, Felix became massively popular in a matter of hours.  By the end of the day, every girl in school became obsessed with him and every guy in their grade wanted to hang out with him.  Felix surrounded himself with a posse that matched his needs.  He joined a couple of sports clubs and ended up at the gym almost every day with his friend and a following of girls from all grades watching him.  Felix instantly did well in class and the top spot traded off between him and Eunbyeol constantly.  He lived like this happily for a whole semester and Eunbyeol couldn’t imagine that he would need anything else.  He had everything anyone could possibly want.
So when the familiar tug came on her hair, her blood boiled and her face flushed dark red.  He didn’t need anything else so what the hell did he want now?  Eunbyeol’s hands clenched and she ignored the pull.  She adjusted her earbud in her ear and pretended not to notice.  Eunbyeol made a big show of turning her music up and blasting Ed Sheeran just a little louder.  She gripped her pen tighter and kept her focus on the exam revision she’d been working on.  Eunbyeol read the question for the fourth time, not understanding it for some reason.  She stared at the words, willing her brain to absorb the information and translate it into something meaningful.  The tug came again, harder this time and she slammed her pen onto her desk.
“What?”  Eunbyeol hissed and tore out one of her earbuds, whipping around to look at the obnoxious new kid.
“I’m thirsty.”  Felix whispered back.  “Jisung and Seungmin are, too.”
“Not my problem.”  Eunbyeol turned back to her revision, finally beginning to understand the question on the page.  She’d barely understood Korean a moment ago.  Felix tugged on her hair for the third time and she took in a deep breath through her nose and let it out through her mouth.
“Go get us some coffee.”
“Didn’t your mother teach you any goddamn manners?  Go get them yourself.”  She turned back to him, fire burning in her eyes.
“Come on, you know they taste better when you get them.”  He smiled innocently, leaning over his desk and tilting his head.
“Can’t you see I’m busy studying?  If you have enough time to bother me then you can get them yourself.”
“You know what?  I’m getting hungry, too.  Why don’t you get us some bread and milk instead.  My pretty Little Sta-”
“How long are you going to keep that up?”  Eunbyeol demanded, cutting him off before the nickname could slip out from his lips.  “You’re insufferable.”
“Thank you!”  Felix smiled innocently before sitting back in his chair and nudging his desk mate with a nod, knowing that he was getting what he wanted.
Eunbyeol grabbed her wallet and her planner.  Luckily during exam time, all of the school time was used as a study period.  Teachers popped in and out of classes to answer any questions but the students were left on their own to study in preparation for finals.  This gave them a little more freedom to move around as needed to the library, bathroom, or the cafeteria.  Eunbyeol loved the revision period.  She could listen to her music and really focus on what she needed to get done.  At least, she used to get things done.  Now, being at Felix’s beck and call made things all the more difficult.
All semester, whenever he wanted anything from outside the classroom she would feel a tug at her hair.  If she didn’t respond to the first pull, the tugs got harder and harder until she did what he wanted.  He didn’t bring up her old nickname too often, but often enough where she knew she had to do as told to keep their past a secret.  At least to her knowledge, no one knew that she and Felix used to know each other and she wanted to keep it that way.  Eunbyeol hated the tug and often tried to keep her hair out of his reach, but somehow he always managed to get to it.
Eunbyeol huffed as she made her way to the door.  She turned to glare at Felix and wanted to scream when he waved her off with a bright smile.  Eunbyeol’s seatmate, Jiho, looked up as she started out of the room and hopped up to follow.
“Eunbyeol, wait up!”  Jiho called.  “You’re going to the convenience store?”
“Yeah, I am.  Coming?”
“Yes of course.  I’ve been craving strawberry milk all morning.”  Jiho and Eunbyeol started down the hall, linking arms to walk together.  “I guess Felix has, too.”
“I honestly don’t understand why the hell he can’t just go get it himself.  He’s so lazy.”  Eunbyeol sighed.
“Why do you let him get away with it?  Every other girl in class would kill to get Felix to eat what they bought him.  Maybe this is a case of ‘boy likes girl so he torments her to get her attention’.”
“Ew!  I hope not!”  Eunbyeol recoiled at the thought.  “Look, I don’t want to talk about it.  I have my reasons.”
“Come on, didn’t you see that gorgeous smile he gave you?”  Jiho sighed dreamily, staring off into space.  “He’s so handsome.”
“I think the ‘I don’t wanna talk about it’ was an all-around statement.  I’d like to go just one day without thinking about that obnoxious know-it-all.”  Eunbyeol groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose with her thumb and forefinger.
“Okay, okay.  If you insist.  How are you doing with the English homework?  I got a really low score on the last quiz and I can’t figure out what I did wrong.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?  I could have helped!  I did well on that quiz.”
“Well... I mean... I was hoping that someone else might offer but...”  Jiho trailed off.  “Are you free tomorrow night?”
“I’m just going to pretend like I’m not sloppy seconds for the most annoying person I’ve ever met and agree.  I’m completely free tomorrow.”  Eunbyeol couldn’t seem to escape him.
“You’re the best!”  Jiho squeezed her friend's arm tighter.  “I’ll buy you coffee to show my appreciation.”
“God knows I’ll need it.  I’ll be studying until late tonight.”  Eunbyeol’s eyes drooped at the thought.
“Why don’t you buy a coffee now?  I’m sure you could use a pick-me-up.”
“I’m about to blow all my money on the jackass.  I don’t have enough money to get myself something, too.”
“Wow, what the hell does this guy have on you?”  Jiho shivered as the girls made the transition from the warm building to the crisp December air.
“I truly just wish he would leave me alone.  I have plenty to worry about with him pulling on my hair all the time.”  Eunbyeol reached up to massage her slightly burning scalp.  “I swear I’m going to go bald at this rate.”
“You haven’t told a teacher about this?”
“Ah, I dunno.  I honestly think that he would barely get a slap on the wrist.  You know, I’m not stupid.  I can see how charming he is to everyone else.  They’d never believe me.  You barely believe me.”  Eunbyeol insisted.
“Look, can we hurry up?  It’s freezing out here and I didn’t grab my coat.”  Jiho’s teeth chattered and the girl picked up the pace.  “Anyway, you know I’m always inclined to believe you over some boy.  I dunno, he’s just so chivalrous and charming to everyone.”
“Jiho-yah.”  Eunbyeol came to a stop outside the convenience store, gesturing to the glowing sign hanging above the glass double doors.  “I’m literally on a bread run because he was pulling my hair.  We’ve been over this.”
“Let’s go in, it’s freezing.”
Jiho dragged inside the store and made her way directly to the drinks at the back.  Eunbyeol sighed, making her way down the bread aisle and pulling a handful of Felix’s favorites off the shelves.  After several months of this, Eunbyeol knew exactly what he liked.  She wished she knew nothing about him and that he still lived in Australia.  Or, even better, in America where he’d be as far away from her as possible.  She shook her head as she moved to the drinks to get his favorite strawberry milk.  As she reached for the door to the refrigerator, she caught her reflection in the glass.
Her eyes looked sunken in and tired and her hair was out of place.  She’d forgotten a hair tie that morning so her hair hung almost all the way to her hips.  Her mother always fawned over her hair.  For so long, Eunbyeol worked hard to keep it clean and healthy.  She’d always liked it long, only ever getting trims to take care of split ends if needed but never much else.  If anything, she was worried that Felix pulling on it all the time would eventually do harm to it.  He’d only pulled a strand out once and by accident.  The second he realized what he’d done, a look of horror crossed his face.  He didn’t apologize, instead telling her that he wasn’t hungry after all.  It didn’t stop him from pulling on her hair whenever he wanted anything, it just held him off for a day.
She shook it off, opening the door and pulling a few cartons of milk out.  Eunbyeol made her way to the counter with her arms full, balancing everything carefully and holding it all together with her chin.  She dropped it all on the counter and the employee rang her up, shooting her an apologetic grin.  Jiho appeared behind her with her own snacks in her hands.
“Oh, Eunbyeol-ah, look.”  Jiho nodded to the bulletin board by the door.  “There’s gonna be a talent show in May!  That’ll be a nice break from exams.”
“That’ll be fun.”  Eunbyeol barely glanced up, unzipping her wallet and pulling out the last of her cash allowance for the week.  She sighed, counting it and comparing the amount in her hand to the amount on the register. Just enough.  Fuck you, Felix.
“Haven’t you thought about dancing again?  You were really good while you were doing it.”  Jiho suggested.  “You’d probably have a good chance at winning if you entered.”
“Not a chance.  There’s no way I’d go up there myself.”  Eunbyeol and the cashier made tense eye contact as she judged whether or not Felix of all people was worth her remaining money for the week.
“I’m not suggesting you do it alone!  I’d do it with you.  And I know Ah Joong and the others would join if you asked.  We were literally just talking about how we’d love to get the gang back together again.  Everyone misses dancing together.”
“Really?  It has been forever, hasn’t it?”  Eunbyeol sighed deeply and passed the bills over the counter.
“Yes it has.  And I think we should enter the competition.  Isn’t there a dance you’ve been wanting to learn?”
“Well...”  Eunbyeol mused, slipping the few coins she received as change into her wallet and taking the plastic bag from the counter.  “I mean, I was watching a bunch of dance practices earlier this week and there are a few that I liked.”
“Come on.”  Jiho stepped forward and placed a package of cookies, a carton of strawberry milk, and a coffee on the counter.  “Tell me I can call the others so we can start practices when we get home from break.  I wanna dance with you one more time before senior year kicks our butts.”
“Oh, I dunno.  It’s hard enough to decide on a song.  How will all of us agree on one?”
“Simple, Eunbyeol-ah.”  Jiho turned to her friend.  “You’re the leader.  You have the best grades, and you won the last dance competition we had before you gave it up to focus on school.  Ah Joong agreed with me.”
Jiho let Eunbyeol ponder the words for a few minutes as she paid for her snacks.  Eunbyeol’s mind raced and her eyes kept drifting to the poster.  She knew she had to focus on her studies, especially if she wanted to get into medical school.  The talent show would most definitely complicate that.  She already dreaded telling her parents that she wanted to dance again.  It’s not that they would be supportive of her hobby, just that they wanted her to get good grades, study well, and follow their dream of having their child become a doctor.  Her father would probably try and talk her out of it.
“So?”  Jiho turned to Eunbyeol once she finished paying.  “What do you think?”
“I don’t know.”  Eunbyeol shook her head, crossing her arms as the girls headed back out into the cold.
“What could I possibly say to convince you?”  Jiho copied her friend, wincing when the bitter bite of winter reached her.
“I’m not sure.  I’m not sure how much time I have to devote to learning a dance right now.  Between school and student council I don’t know if-”
“Come on, please?  We can’t do it without you.  Think of it this way.  You’ve essentially got five to six months of freedom before senior year gets here and takes away all hope of a social life or hobbies.  You want to get into a prestigious university?  Even if you’re going to medical school, a competition win looks good.  It’s the last chance we’re gonna have to have fun before we become studying machines.”
Eunbyeol pondered Jiho’s points as they made their way back into the building and up the stairs.  They paused their journey to visit the bathroom and freshen up.  Eunbyeol ached to run a brush through her hair and she wondered why she never thought to put one in her backpack before now.  Jiho worked on reapplying lip gloss while Eunbyeol clawed at her hair, trying to get it looking a little better than before.  She ran her fingers through the long strands, taming the spot where Felix pulled earlier.  She liked the idea of performing again but her hair would get in the way.
Behind her, a sophomore with shoulder-length hair emerged from a stall, washed her hands, and passed behind the two girls to leave.  Eunbyeol followed her in the mirror, an idea coming to her.  She wanted to get back at Felix somehow, and while she didn’t have anything on him she did know some things he liked; Pulling her hair and being the center of attention.
“Jiho-yah.”  Eunbyeol turned to her friend.  “Let’s do it.  You’re right.  I wanna dance at least one more time before college.  I want to do something bold and interesting and I think this might be it.”
“Really?”  Jiho perked up right away.  “You’ll do it?”
“I will.”  Eunbyeol decided pointedly, turning back to the mirror.  “I want to do something else, too.  You’ll support me, won’t you?”  She reached up and flipped her hair around to her back, wondering what it might look like... different.
“Of course I will- wait...”  Jiho watched her friend, the realization growing in her eyes.  “You’re not thinking...”
“Oh yes I am.  I think I need to make an appointment for this weekend.  I’m in need of a change.”
“A change?  What you’re thinking is way more than just a change!”  Jiho insisted.  “How long have you been growing it out?  Ten years?  This is absurd.”
“It’s just hair, it’ll grow back.  My mom will be mad, but this will take care of two birds with one stone.”  Eunbyeol shrugged, gathering the bag from the convenience store up once more and starting out of the bathroom.  Jiho scrambled after her.
“Why do you want to cut it?  It makes no sense.  Where is this coming from?”
“Look, Felix needs to be taken down a notch.  He pulls my hair all the time, so I should just get rid of it.  I need to take something back.  Besides, it’s getting heavy and I won’t be able to dance effectively with it.”  Eunbyeol grinned at the thought, already thinking of the salon she wanted to visit.  “Come on, let's call Ah Joong and think about what song to do.”
Jiho found herself powerless as she followed her friend back to the classroom.  The attention of both girls were drawn immediately by the bright smile on Felix’s face when they reentered the room.  His eyes crinkled and his smile shone like the sun.  He ran a hand through his dark hair to push it away from his face, revealing those stupid freckles that everyone seemed to love so much.  Jiho’s breath caught in her throat at the sight, but Eunbyeol rolled her eyes, immune to the charm.  The other kids were beginning to stretch and move around in need of a break so most of the girls took to staring at him and sighing when he smiled.
Eunbyeol made her way to her desk, dropping the convenience store bag on his desk unceremoniously.  She smirked as she settled back in her chair and turned back to her revision.  Felix’s smile faltered and he raised an eyebrow at her.  He went through the bag, making sure everything was there and passing things out to his friends.  Sure enough, she got everything he usually asked for except...
The familiar tug on her hair normally shot fire through her but this time, Eunbyeol grinned at the thought that he wouldn’t be able to do it for much longer.  She gently put her pencil down on the desk and turned to face him with a calm smile on her lips.  Felix’s eyebrows furrowed and his heart rate picked up.
“You’re missing one of the strawberry milks.”
“I took the rest.  That’s all they had, so I got chocolate instead.  If you have a problem with that, take it up with the convenience store.”  Eubyeol’s voice dripped with faux sweetness.
“Oh, you can have mine!”  Jiho turned around in her chair and offered her carton of strawberry milk to Felix.  He glanced at the catron being offered to him and back at the chocolate option on his desk.
“Ah, no thank you.  I’m okay with chocolate, I guess.”  Felix decided.
Jiho shot a pointed look at her friend as she turned to face the front again.  Eunbyeol shook her head in disbelief, unwilling to believe Jiho’s insinuation.  Eunbyeol started to turn around in her seat but Felix instinctively reached to pull on her long, dark strands.  She tensed at his touch, but turned obediently.
“You’d better get your fill of that today.”  She lowered her voice, a pleased smile crossing her face.
Felix’s eyes widened when something he’d never seen flashed in her eyes.  Suddenly, Felix found himself staring at a young woman rather than the girl he’d first met.  Over the course of the semester, he’d taken a unique pleasure in teasing her.  While he acknowledged that she wasn’t a little girl anymore, her face remained virtually unchanged.  Pure and unassuming.  Even when they first met, Eunbyeol had been way too easy to get a rise out of.  She’d been clueless and the picture of innocence.  Now, all these years later, she still had an innocent air around her that reminded him what she was like as a kid.  However, something changed over the years they’d been apart.
Eunbyeol no longer had plump, round cheeks or scrawny legs.  She cared about what her hair looked like and Felix had to admit that he liked it long on her and was glad to see that it’d gotten longer.  She wore makeup on occasion, primarily on days she knew she would be seeing that one senior boy in the music club she said she didn’t like.  He’d noticed her legs the first time he saw her when he got to school and he hadn’t stopped noticing them.  Eunbyeol grew taller and somehow more muscular.  When she shoved him against the tree, Felix sensed that she had the strength to do something substantial to him.
As he stared at her now, the fire in her eyes confirmed that the little girl he teased during primary school no longer existed.  This girl looked anything but innocent.  Her voice dropped and she looked at him like she knew something he didn’t.
“Starting today...”  Eunbyeol continued, something dangerous in her eyes.  “You can pull my hair as much as you want... as long as you can reach it.”
Felix’s lips parted in surprise and his eyes widened.  Eunbyeol smirked as she turned around in her chair and Felix couldn’t seem to get a word out.  He stared at the back of her head, unable to tear his eyes off her long black hair.  Something shifted slightly and for a moment he couldn’t tell if it was mental or physical.  His hands clenched at the thought of burying his fingers in her hair.  He reached for his snacks in order to keep himself from doing just that.
All thoughts of studying flew out the window as Felix imagined what it would be like to tangle his fingers in her hair and pull, exposing her neck to him.  He wondered what she would look like with dark eyes and parted lips as she waited for him to make a move.  Felix imagined her not in the classroom but somewhere dark and secluded where he could take his time with his hands all over her.  In a matter of seconds, Eunbyeol reminded him that she grew up and was not a little girl any longer.  Felix wondered if she’d been trying to convince him of such a fact from the moment she first saw him.
The rest of the day ticked by through molasses.  Felix watched as Eunbyeol and Jiho wrote notes to each other while they studied.  As they exchanged secret notes, Eunbyeol looked over at Jiho with a bright smile and his heart stopped in his chest.  Eunbyeol didn’t smile much, more like she didn’t smile around him, and he wondered if she would ever smile at him like that.  He drank his milk slowly, wondering if chocolate had ever tasted quite so good.  His fingers clenched and relaxed as he imagined reaching out and pulling her hair like she’d so graciously allowed him to do.  He wondered what kind of noises she would make.  His friends tried to engage him but for some reason Felix could barely manage to hold a conversation.  His thoughts continued drifting back to Eunbyeol and her long luscious hair that simply begged to have his hands in it.
Before he knew it, Eunbyeol rose to her feet.  She gathered her things in record time and walked away from him before he could comprehend what happened.  Felix glanced at the clock to see that they could finally leave the confines of school for the weekend until Monday when exam week officially began.  Eunbyeol gathered her materials into her backpack before slipping both her winter coat and her backpack on.  Together with Jiho, the two girls followed the throng of kids leaving the classroom while Felix stared after her in disbelief.
When the pair reached the door, Eunbyeol turned and met his eye.  Felix shifted in his seat, too stunned to think of moving.  A tantalizing smirk crossed her face and he swallowed thickly.  Eunbyeol turned to leave, a satisfied grin plastered on her face. Slowly, Felix lifted his hand and pressed two fingers against his jugular.  He winced when he realized just how quickly his pulse raced.
“Hey.  Felix.  Earth to Felix.”  Jisung, Felix’s seatmate, waved a hand in front of his friend's face, pulling him back into the classroom.  “Are you okay?”
“I... what?”  Felix blinked a few times, shaking his head.  “Yeah, I’m okay.”
“You don’t look okay.  You didn’t touch the bread that Eunbyeol brought us.”  Jisung stood and started to gather his things.  At the mention of her name, Felix’s pulse quickened and his face flushed.
“Yeah.”  Felix followed Jisung’s lead and gathered his books into his backpack.
“Are you sure?  Your face is all red.  What happened?”  Jisung’s eyebrows furrowed.
“Is it?  I was just thinking, that’s all...”
“About Eunbyeol?”  Jisung grinned when Felix’s face flushed deeper, draping an arm over his friend’s shoulders.  “I guess that explains why you bother her all the time.  I mean, you had something on her from your first day here, so I can’t say that I’m particularly surprised.”
“What the hell are you talking about?”  Felix pulled his winter coat over his uniform and zipped it all the way to the chin.
“You like her.”
“No the fuck I don’t!”
“Then why can’t you tell me, or anyone for that matter, why you’re all up in her business?  You didn’t shut up for like half an hour about how annoying you think she is yesterday.”  Jisung rolled his eyes, waiting until Felix had his backpack on before starting towards the door.
“Well she is annoying!”  Felix defended.  “She’s mad at me all the time and the first day I got here she gave me such an attitude.  Plus she and I flip flop for the top grades in the class and it’s so frustrating to constantly be worrying about it.”
“Look, Eunbyeol gives everyone attitude.  Ever since she moved back from living abroad she really closed off and got defensive.  Before she was always sweet and kind.”
“You’ve known her that long?”  Felix chewed at his lips as Jisung spoke.
“Yeah, we’ve been going to the same school since primary school.  It was weird to watch her change.  I mean, she left as someone happy and bubbly but she came back and she got all closed off and it took her a while to make friends.”
“What happened?”
“She never talks about it.  I’ve always been too nervous to ask anyway.  I used to like her a lot.”
“You did?”  Felix’s heart stopped in his chest, though his mind raced a million miles an hour.
“I never told you?  Y’know, I’m not blind.  I still think she’s really pretty but the feelings faded over time.”  Jisung sighed.  “So like, I’d totally get it if you liked her.”
“Honestly, I haven’t really thought about it.  She hates me too much for me to see past that.”  Felix lied, glancing down at his hands.
“Alright, if you say so.”  Jisung dropped the subject, and Felix’s pulse finally began to slow.  “So, I saw the flier for the talent show in May and I had a question for you...”
~!~!~!~!~!~
“IS THAT EUNBYEOL?”  One of the students in the hallway whispered.  “I barely recognized her.  Wasn’t her hair longer on Friday?”
Several of the other kids shared the sentiment as she walked by.  Eunbyeol paid no attention to the whispers, knowing they were bound to happen anyway.  She spent her weekend on the phone with Jiho and Ah Joong and planning their talent show performance and arguing with her mother.  Just like she expected, her mother burst into tears when Eunbyeol returned from her appointment and it took a lot of convincing to stay ungrounded.  The story that Eunbyeol weaved involved a couple of freshmen, some chewing gum, and the mistake of standing too close to a trash bin.  Her mother still wasn’t happy in the slightest, but Eunbyeol determined that she’d have to spend significantly less on shampoo from now on.
Jiho came out of the bathroom just as Eunbyeol passed and she let out an audible gasp.  She ran to greet her friend, fawning over the new look.  Eunbyeol smiled brightly, showing it off and running her fingers through her shortened hair.  She shook her head to shake her hair around, still not used to the new weight.  Jiho squealed loudly, running her own fingers through it.
“Oh my god, it looks incredible!”  Jiho fawned.  “I admit that I was worried that short wouldn’t work on you, but this is amazing.  I’m surprised you went through with it, to be honest.”
“Thank you!  I’m getting adventurous now and I almost wish I’d dyed it pink, too.”  Eunbyeol chuckled.  “I’m surprised I went through with it, too, but I think I needed a change.”
“I’ve always said that you look amazing in pink.”  Jiho linked arms with her friend as they made their way to the classroom.  “I think we should wear pink for our performance.”
“We have plenty of time to think about that.  I’ve gotta look over the dance and figure out the vibe first.  Right now, I just want to get through finals week.”
“Fair enough, but Friday at 3pm we’re starting.  I’m way too excited to sit still all break!”  Jiho practically skipped along the hallway and Eunbyeol laughed.
When they entered the classroom, a small crowd of boys from their class and the next class sat around Felix’s desk.  One of the boys from another class, Jeongin, perched on Eunbyeol’s chair and she sighed.  The group chattered excitedly and a pang of horror hit Eunbyeol when she noticed the talent show flier being passed between them.  She and Jiho exchanged glances as they made their way to the desks.  Felix stayed conveniently out of sight, too busy talking to his friends to notice Eunbyeol.
“With what you’ve just shown us, I think we might have a good chance at this!”  Jisung spoke above the chatter and the other boys were all quick to agree.  “Felix, I think you have your work cut out for you.”
“Definitely!”  Jeongin chimed in, a bright smile adorning his young features.
“Wait a minute, are you guys entering the talent show, too?”  Jiho spoke up and the attention turned to her.
“Too?”  Jisung stared at her in disbelief.  “You’re going to enter?”
“Yeah, we are.”  Jiho gripped Eunbyeol’s arm tighter and Jisung finally looked at her.  “Eunbyeol, Ah Joong, a few others and I are going to enter together.”
“Hey...”  Jisung nudged Felix, unable to take his eyes off of the sight before him.  Felix, however, was engaged in conversation with Jeongin and paid him no attention.
“Whoa.”  Seungmin, who sat behind Felix, looked up and noticed, too.
“Hey... Felix...”  Jeongin trailed off, finally tearing his attention away from his friend.
“What?”  Felix blinked up at his friends, who no longer were talking about their plans.  He looked between Jeongin, Jisung, and Seungmin before finally turning to glance at the girls.
For a minute, Felix couldn’t see the difference.  The grin on Eunbyeol’s face promised something no good and panic rose in his chest.  He wondered for a moment if maybe she knew the thoughts in his head.  All weekend, he’d been tormented by thoughts of Eunbyeol with his hands in her hair and his lips on her neck.  He tried to rationalize his feelings, trying to tell himself that she meant the comment innocently.  She hadn’t meant to tease him in this way, that at least he knew, but he hadn’t been able to stop thinking about her or her long gorgeous hair all weekend.
Almost instinctively, he glanced to look at it to find that her long locks stopped at her chin rather than her hips.  Instantly, his jaw dropped.  Even as kids, she kept her hair long and well groomed.  He wasn’t surprised when he saw her with long hair when they met again.  After admiring it all semester and even more so over the weekend, he could hardly believe that it was gone.  His heart dropped in his chest and for a moment he forgot how to breathe.  She’d allowed him to pull her hair for one day knowing that he planned to get rid of it the next.  She’d made him feel sinful things about her only to take it away moments later.
Eunbyeol watched him with a smirk on her lips as he fell through the stages of shock.  Felix swallowed thickly, unable to get a single word out.  His mouth opened and closed, unable to form a single coherent thought.  Jisung glanced over at his friend, grinning at the thought that his hunch about Felix’s crush on her might be true.  Eunbyeol ran a hand through her hair and Felix found himself jealous of her fingers.  He had a sick feeling that he wouldn’t be able to reach her hair anymore.  He could easily pull on her jacket, but what would be the fun in that?
“Well, I don’t know what you guys have planned, but you have your work cut out for you.  You remember how good Eunbyeol is, right?”  Jiho continued, without noticing the shifted atmosphere.
“Of course we know how good she is.  She won that competition after all, and I admit that it was for a good reason.”  Jisung agreed.  “However, Felix is talented, too.  We’ve got something that is going to surprise everyone.”
“You mean there’s more we don’t know about the famous Lee Felix?”  Eunbyeol exaggerated, gesturing widely.  “Just because he’s popular doesn’t mean you have it in the bag.  You have to be good at something, too.”
“Look, sweetheart.”  Felix’s voice dropped, reverberating around the room.  He slowly rose to his feet, a newfound confidence rushing through him.  The sound of that ridiculous petname spoken in his deep baritone sent a ripple down her spine.  The next words he spoke were in English, still in the deepest version of his voice.  “There’s a lot that you don’t know about me and I about you.  We’re not kids anymore and there are many sides that we have yet to see of each other.  So, show me your best side and I’ll show you mine.”
“Why do you want to compete with me so bad?”  Eunbyeol also switched to English, leaving the other kids to stare blankly at them.  “You’re talking real big for someone who doesn’t have anything to offer.  The only thing you’ve ever been good at is being an asshole.”
“Oh, you think I don’t have anything to offer?”  Felix let out an astonished laugh.  “And I’m supposed to believe that you have something to offer, too?  The only thing I remember from school is you being a drama queen, stirring the pot at every chance you got, and destroying relationships for your own pleasure.”
“You’re one to talk!  In that case, you’re exceedingly good at constantly starting fights, ruining the confidence of everyone around you, and making people scared to even talk to you.  Oh!  Now that I think about it, you’re excellent at ignoring people, too.  You have yet to prove to me that you’ve grown up at all.”  Eunbyeol shot back.
“I’m absolutely dying to know if you have any other talent than being a ‘bread runner’ so why don’t you show me what else you can do.  From the look of things, I’m not the only one with growing up to do.”   Felix’s features and his voice hardened.  He ran his tongue along his lower lip and pressed it into his cheek with a roll of his eyes.  He ignored how each and every jab left wounds in his organs.  “Let’s put everything on the table.  A little old-fashioned rivalry never hurt anyone.  Besides, you need motivation.  So prove it.”
“Excuse me?”  Eunbyeol blinked at him, heat flashing through her cheeks at the challenge.
Felix’s eyes burned with something dark and dangerous that she’d never seen before.  His eyebrows furrowed and his nostrils flared.  His jaw set into a deep right angle.  Eunbyeol swallowed thickly, suddenly unsure why a wave of heat made its way up the back of her neck.  Somehow, anger was not the only thing in his eyes but Eunbyeol didn’t recognize this darkness.  All she knew is that she wasn’t scared of him.
“Show me that I should be scared of losing to you, because right now you’re about as intimidating as a kitten.”  Felix smiled coldly.  “I don’t believe for a second that you’re good at anything.”
“You have no idea what you’re talking about.”  She scoffed, trying to pretend that the bass of his voice wasn’t making her dizzy.  “Why should I do anything you tell me to do?”
“Because.”  He tilted his head.  “I’m going to win this stupid thing by a landslide and there is nothing you can do about it.”
“Jiho-yah.”  Eunbyeol turned to her friend, returning to her native language.  “Let’s go find Ah Joong, we need to change the plan.”
“Good luck with that.”  Felix chuckled, one of his eyebrows quirking.  “You’re going to need all the luck you can get.”
Eunbyeol stared at him for a long minute, willing him to back down.  He stared back with cold amusement, showing no intention of moving.  Their friends stared between them, aching for a translation of the conversation but not getting one.  Jiho prodded Eunbyeol, urging her to move one way or the other.  Instead, everyone stayed where they stood, waiting for someone to make a move.  Every muscle in Eunbyeol’s body tensed as she tried very hard not to punch Felix in his stupidly perfect face.  He practically begged for it.
“Lee Felix.”  Eunbyeol finally managed.  “You’re going to regret ever enrolling in this school.  I promise you that.”
“Wanna bet?”

Ha, I got back to my computer and found the Eda Disaster Outfits concept art! Here ya go ;)
Oh, these are beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing them!
Oh man, where do I even start here? There's so much to see.
I like that some of the concepts in one of her outfits in the first image were kept in the show - she's wearing the head covering in Episode 1, the '30 & flirty' shirt was repurposed for the cup she uses in Episode 2, and the bunny slippers got to stay as part of her pyjama clothes.
Aside from that, the sheer chaos implied by these outfits is delightful. The stickers + superhero face mask combo... the one where she's wearing what I think is some sort of sports champion belt? plus a dramatic flowy cape... the duck floatie and frilly skirt that's present in two of the images... I notice something new every time I look through these.
Also, I really love her little expressions in the last few images. They're cute.

Some hcs for you
▪︎your first meeting was probably, definitely chaotic, i mean, Draken spends most of his time just looking after Mikey, and we all know how that goes
▪︎so imagine this:
▪︎you've taken a trip to the pet store with a friend, wanting to pick up some new toys and more food for your cats
▪︎now imagine this next
▪︎a few isles over, Mikey is asking the poor employee to hold one of the snakes, all the while convincing Draken that Mikey absolutely needs one as a pet
▪︎i'd like to think that somehow, said slithering animal gets out of Mikey's hand and is now sneaking around the store.
▪︎Your friend would spot it first, and try to warn you as carefully as possible
▪︎but the little guy makes his way towards your shoes, and as soon as you feel a little nudge, well, you're paralyzed with fear, trying and failing to get any words out
▪︎now, when you see the towering form that is Ken Ryuguji, suddenly appear as he bends down to gently pick up the animal, you are stunned for a few reasons
▪︎the first being just how easily he had done that, as if the reptile in his hands wasn't so grossly terrifying
▪︎the second being, that this man was heavenly looking, even as he passed the snake to the employee, and scolded Mikey for not being careful
▪︎From then on, you happened to run into Draken fairly often, eventually growing to become friends
▪︎you wrote him a lot of your famous handwritten letters, often times sliding in some pressed flowers, or little stickers you found that reminded you of him
▪︎not that he ever let the others see these, and face their jokes, but he keeps every single letter in his top drawer, and he reads them whenever he feels down
▪︎skip to current times, you live together, practically already married in the way that all of your shared friends would say you two argue like an old married couple
▪︎most of the arguments are over small things, such as who's turn it is to clean the litter box, or that Draken needs to stop being so picky with his food, and to stop ruining his clothes because you can't keep patching them up
▪︎you threaten to embroider cute little designs on his stuff, knowing full and well that he has his own little appearance to uphold
▪︎oh and for these hcs, Draken and the others ??? Their gang lives are strictly like, idk competitive sports or gaming or something, we don't need any danger here
▪︎especially because i think that Draken would want kids, and he'd want to keep his family safe, so if he was in a gang like Toman or whichever, he wouldn't be having kids
▪︎but he loves the idea of them so much, though he only ever tells you that. He wants to come home to little footsteps and tiny voices calling for him
▪︎and of course, his favorite part about it is coming home to his lovely wife, knowing that he has everything he could ever want.

( copying off of discord cause I thought way too hard on it lmao)
Picrew made me think of a new outfit for Naomi ( literally just made her more preppy) and it won't leave my head so I'm just considering it one of her many alt outfits. But it also got me thinking about Carol and the rivals and what could be their "alt".
Carol is kinda easy cause they're an OC. A cool graphic tee( probably majority black), ripped jeans and a green flannel over their waist. They wear a red beanie instead of the usual grey.
The first thing that came into my mind is Bede wearing a white button up that probably has some cute fairy designs on it,and above the knee light pink skirt( probably with a little grill? I dunno if I'm portraying the image right). His hair is pulled back a bit by a purple hair....clip? Bandana? I dunno what they're called.
I thought Marnie was gonna be hard but when scrolling through Pinterest I just saw this school punk outfit that was basically overalls I went " yeah okay". Anyway, she would wear black overalls with lots of patches on it, including one of the Spikemuth gym, morpeko, and maybe a hot pink heart here and there. She would probably have a lot of accessories too, spiked choker, spiked bracelets, spiked boots( the boots are also hot pink). I think she would also have her hair down for this one, mainly because I don't see her pigtails matching the outfit.
Hop is hard for me, mainly because it's hard for me to mix his athletism with his nerdiness. But then I remembered the blue varsity jacket from swsh and went " oh yeah he can just wear that". Like market, he would probably have a lot of patches and stickers on them ( mostly sewn himself). Maybe something that would remind him of his friends ( yes, including Bede!!!). I'm not really sure about the rest of his outfit, but I feel like it would be funny for him to wear a tie with a shirt that doesn't warrant a tie at all. Or is that too frat bro of him?
Oh! And they all are wearing friendship bracelets. Those are key!!!
