about this blog
hello... I'm Katarina (she/her) aka AbbyStanAccount.
I'm 26, and I made my stan accounts on the various platforms in early August 2020 after the emotional turmoil of playing The Last of Us Part II. I'm most active on Twitter where I have nearly 11k followers, and I also have Instagram where I post my art and on stories daily, normally sharing Abby pics I see.
I make 3D art with the game models, mostly of Abby. Also I've made some dancing animations you might have seen around.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A lot of my art and photomodes I've taken gets shared on pinterest, I prefer if you're gonna repost my photomodes or art like in a thirst tweet/post you @ me underneath or something like that! At the very least don't crop at my watermark.
My Tumblr I tend to use a bit less, I'll post my art and queue my photomodes and sometimes write some analyses and speculation! I'm addicted to Twitter but it's going downhill and when I'm annoyed with it I come back here more often.
Below are some character opinions etc
Obviously Abby is my #1. We stan. I like everything about her character, her story, etc. We'll support her in the TV series no matter who plays her, even though she'll be a different interpretation of the game character who we have come to know and love. (At least you should love her 🤨)
Jackson crew characters are all fine, sometimes they feel like a separate fandom to me because I focus mostly on Abby's friends. Everyone in the Salt Lake Crew are like my kids, I love them all. Yes, including Owen. Owen is one of my favorite characters and unfortunately it feels like we're back in an era where I see nothing but hate for him 🙃 It's annoying to see constantly on my timeline but I'll just scroll by it, I've seen it all at this point. You can still follow me and hate Owen and Abby's friends and I may follow back you too, but I draw the line at being rude on my positive posts/art about them. If you're an Owen fan dm me though lol.
I have written some fanfic but it's likely not up your alley if the previous paragraph doesn't sound like you, but it's here. I've also made some spicier Abby pics some of which I've shared on Tumblr, but I've been hesitant to do that again after a bad experience with reposting. But I may in the future share more with the Mature label if people really want that, so enable that if you're interested, lol.
Also, I like getting asks and those are open!

i keep telling myself to quit checking up on KM spaces cause there’s literally nothing but bickering and going out of the way to find things to be mad at but I keep ending up coming back 😓 it’s so hard, I still think about them a lot and I generally enjoy doing so! They make me happy to think about, genuinely. it’s been a force of habit for so long but the vibe with no new content (I try and avoid military updates but they waft into my view every so often and I’m glad they seem to be doing ok at least) is just so nasty it’s just like can’t everyone just relax and be happy knowing they’re together??? Obviously I am the problem here and I need to stop but it’s a struggle….do I need to just go completely cold turkey on bangtan? 😂 is that what you did when you took a long break? It’s not like I don’t have hobbies and a job and stuff, but for a long time they’ve occupied a special nice place where I just think of them and generally enjoy reading people’s thoughts about them, but over the past year especially w the solo stuff it’s just gotten kinda rancid
Hello, anon
I understand you completely. If something has become part of your daily routine, on top of other activities and interests, it's normal to get the urge to check up on it. Cold turkey might not help because it increases the chances of going back to it. I'm going through the same thing nowadays. I'm aware that right now, there's barely any point in keeping up with that part of my interests online. KM have enlisted and despite seeing some military updates, I'm not excitedly/anxiously looking forward to it. Like you, I think it's nice to see that they appear fine, but personally I could live without those updates as well. Consequently, I barely discuss it even on my blog, I don't find it necessary.
Most likely, the upcoming show will be the only relevant content that makes me still keep an eye on them right now and that's because the announcement might drop at any time. By not knowing exactly when, it's enough to keep at least a part of the fandom waiting and participating online. Not a bad strategy, but a frustrating one for us.
Likewise, by still checking up tumblr/twitter, I'm also exposing myself to daily fights, endless debates on relationship dynamics and so on. I find it pointless and I'd say a sign of boredom if this wasn't the modus operandi of the fandom anyway.
I made a vague comment recently, but it is terribly annoying having to read left and right troll anons baiting bloggers who then are bringing receipts to demonstrate that KM are close. Really? We're still doing that in 2024? People are talking in circles to demonstrate something that doesn't need more proving. Twitter is worse because they fight like idiots under the guise of defending. The knights in shining armour fighting for the princesses.
As to solo stans, I don't have an issue with the idea of only liking an artist and that's it. If only that would be the full definition. Anyone acting like not only a fanatic, but writing like some miserable 4chan user is someone I really can't stand. It's slowly becoming standard stan behavior and I see this in other fandoms as well, including those of western artists. It's nasty and embarassing.
When I took a break, I unfollowed almost all KM and JM focused accounts. The ones remaining I muted so I had to go to my following list and check each individually if I wanted to see what was up. My point was to not have any of that on my timeline. I think it worked for a while. Now I'm back to how it was before and I don't know how that happened. I should make some changes again.

hey mpc! obviously no pressure to post this, just a suggestion since this blog has a decent following and we (supposedly) all like tumblr here:
reminder to everyone to submit feedback reports to tumblr.com/support!! @'ing staff isnt very efficient, feedback floods them with complaints about the new ui change!! we really should not let them think we're complacent about this, we're already dangerously close to both tiktok and twitter prior to this.
Shrug emoji oh sure I sent something but I have yet to see anything this userbase has done that has ever influenced tumblr staff. Well, positively, anyways.
Remember when partyjocker / partyjocking pointed out a tumblr staff was a huge harry potter stan and shipped like... underage ships? Aged up ships? Maybe, can't recall that detail right now. And maybe there's a reason there's rampant *isms and *phobes running around this site [because staff silence condones it or whatever that person said] Anyways, that person got banned for their troubles. And they just pointed it out, not even @/ed staff or the person's blog.
So like. Yell into the void, I guess.
Also remember all those silly log off for 24 hours protests? Yeah that shit didn't work. 'Pon Farr' is still banned here. Well, Pon Farr that isn't white or cishet, let's be honest here.
I'm sorry to be a negative nancy but realistically staff don't care. They never will. Longcat speed you if you do send something in. I will pray they don't ban your account for your feedback.
And yes I did send something in about this new layout. So there's that.
Connie / mod party cat!

The difference is, Jikookers crossing the line are being called out by others Jikookers. As they should. When are taekookers going to call each other out?? It never freaking happens. It’s been years and years and and it keeps getting worse cause a part of the fandom is allowing it and treating every shippers the same way when you know damn well they’re not the same breed. Taekookers are completely unhinged, the sane ones are probably only a few and they’re being drowned in the crowd. The vast majority of the weird shipper comments today were from them. If the fandom collectively really wanted to do something against them it would happen and it just doesn’t because a lot of big accounts out there are not saying shit for whatever reason but only so vague statements about shippers in general. Lmao, it’s always the same crazies who cause problems, let’s face it
Well, I haven't really touched on this ship yet in detail, so I think now would be a good time... Let's get into it. Honestly, I'm a little frightened to talk about this given that it's such a hot topic, but please stick with me until the end.
Taekook: Passion or Poison?
I'm not sure if this is a Tumblr-exclusive problem, but as someone who witnessed the live in real-time with all of stan Twitter (or X? who fucking knows, I hate Elon) ready to pop a blood vessel, I will tell you that the issue of calling out toxicity is not so black and white. Just on the tweet sent out by translator tteokminnie, I saw several taekookers in the quote retweets calling out the strange behavior exhibited by the more intense side of their shipping group. I think that the amount of toxicity that you see depends on the platform that you use as well; I've come to notice that Instagram and Quora are the WORST places to encounter a shipper. If you value your sanity, please... don't go onto Quora. Just don't. Tumblr is usually a hit or miss, but trust me, I have issued out blocks to multiple ask blogs (both Jikook AND Taekook) that I believed to exhibit crazy and toxic behavior. Many of these people squawk out their instructions to a choir of crows, their anons and asks often regurgitating the same ghastly song in an endless cycle of lunacy. I try not to engage in toxicity when possible, and I think that if we all blocked and moved on, the world would be a better place. Disagree with me if you want anon, but I have witnessed accountability from both Jikookers and Taekookers following what happened -- And you know me, I'm never one to pick sides in an area that is greyer than concrete.
Tumblr media
Like you said anon, I will admit that taekookers have a large group of problematic shippers, but I think that's because taekook is considered a 'gateway' ship (alongside yoonmin & jikook), it's an easy pairing to fall into. As an ARMY since 2015, I can tell you that they've been extremely popular since the fandom's inception in 2013 and have only grown more popular. So, the longer something's been around, the more likely they are to accumulate a huge group of supporters, and within every HUGE group, there will be bad eggs. Like, we're BTS stans, correct? Shouldn't we know that there's a large group of undesirables within us that the general public perceives to be ALL of us? We know that's not true and we work to try to eliminate the problem... but there are MILLIONS of us, we can't possibly have a hold on every single person, especially with a fandom as diverse as this one. I made an analogy using apples a few asks back and I think I'll bring it back here. You have ten apples and two of them turn out to be rotten, at the end of the day you would probably consider that batch to still be a good one. Now you have one-hundred-thousand apples and twenty-thousand of them are rotten. Now you're probably second-guessing the quality of the batch. The ratio hasn't changed, but since there's so much more of them, you're more likely to question it. I mean, I die inside every time I'm reminded that t*ekook-l*ves has half a million subscribers (sorry to bring them up AGAIN but they really are my sworn enemy), but just because they do have that many, that doesn't mean that I think all taekookers are responsible for the group's bad behavior or social negligence. And this is my personal feelings based off of my eight years as an ARMY, but I do feel as if sometimes the infamous reputation of taekookers being erratic or crazy has impacted the fandom's general perception of them as a whole, further highlighting and targeting the group even when the person in question is not a toxic taekooker. I feel like when a taekooker does something bad, it's usually dissected under a microscope and blown out of proportion due to the scrutiny the group faces as a whole. And this sentiment has transcended beyond the fandom and has permeated into the general perception of interactions between Taehyung and Jungkook as well... I don't know if you remember the amount of shit that happened online when Taehyung posted this photo:
Tumblr media
(missing Jungkook's bad bitch haircut right about now...)
The number of tweets (xeets? I don't fucking know.. count your days Mr. Musk, I don't 'xike' your update) I saw that cast a large side eye on the people who posted this picture was really strange. I mean, are people not allowed to repost a picture of the boys? Why is it suddenly weird now that it's Taehyung and Jungkook? I just think it's incredibly unfortunate that some toxic shippers have ruined how people view the friendship between these two. Jungkook and Taehyung have an incredible bond and have built long-lasting and trustworthy relationships with one another. Why should we listen to the ugly squawk of a few loud birds when we can appreciate what's right in front of us? Also, it's not just me, I've seen a few non-shipping accounts on Twitter also express the same sentiment, talking about how negative perceptions brought on by toxicity have made people cautious about posting them.
The 'Toxic Shipper' Label
I've seen a lot of these comments, whether it be in long Tumblr asks, in my own ask box, or in general discussions online following the events of that live: is it problematic to label it as 'toxic shippers', and if so, is that hiding the actions of a particular group?
This might get me in trouble, but in my opinion, no, I don't think it's problematic to label the events which transpired as the actions of toxic shippers. What happened was not only the fault of taekookers, so why should they be the only ones to take the brunt of the blame? I think that it would be helpful to say 'Toxic Jikookers or Taekookers' but even then, it wasn't just taekookers or jikookers, but a whole mass of problematic behavior. I do agree that louder voices in the fandom should crack down on this behavior and cite the problem as accurately as possible.
At the end of the day, I don't care who 'did it worse' or who screamed the loudest in the comment section: toxic shippers WERE at fault. The lot of them. It's like saying: Well, I only burned down ONE house while this guy burned down two... Well, okay? But you both burned down houses... that's fucked up. We can all agree that you and this guy, toxic arsonists if you will, are fucked up for doing that... Both of you should and WILL BE held accountable for arson.
I just feel as if some of the hatred towards taekookers is disproportional, but yes, we should be holding one another accountable when we can. Despite what a lot of people say, there are GOOD taekookers out there who try to avoid slipping down the slope of toxic delusion, who just enjoy their ship just like anyone else would. Any shipping group can fall down a dangerous rabbit hole, so let's just all look out for one another, okay?
Also, you mentioned that the majority of the comments came from Taekookers, for that, I'm not super sure nor can I confirm it. I was watching the live and a lot of the comments (for me) were people asking him to speak English or an equal amount of ship/marry-me comments. I've seen screenshots where someone's entire comment section was just taekook, and then another where it was just jikook. I'm not really sure how Weverse displays comments or how much of a delay there is, but we can both agree that it was a cesspool. Here's a screenshot I found on Twitter: Now ofc this is just ONE moment out of a lengthy live, so who knows. Also this isn't me shitting on good jikookers (no toxic ones, please), but it's just showing the POV that someone had on Weverse. I'm sure there are some other screenshots where it's the opposite. I'm assuming (based on the context) this occurred right after he said 'Jeon Jimin', so of course, there would probably be an influx of jikook-related comments.
Tumblr media
I'm not a taekooker, I'm not really anything (y'all know that), but I am someone who has been in this fandom for a very, very long time. It would be nice to have a fandom clean-up, but what we can do right now is educate, block, and report. That's the best that we can do. Also to sane taekookers, I am so sorry that you have to deal with this, for real. If any shippers or taekookers in general would like to shoot me an ask with their point of view or thoughts, that's cool too. This is just sort of how I feel. Nobody kill me okay. This is just my opinion.

I'm just gonna say it here so you don't have to answer both asks; (filmwntrs here btw - let's have a civilized convo)
I meant what I said in a "I can't wait for them all to move on and leave twitter indefinitely." Why? Because I have yet to see a single steddie be smart enough not to shit on people for their ship preference. I've only had the worst experiences with them, people calling me a p3do for liking the things I do, people bullying me to no end for headcanoning eddie as a different sexuality than gay and not agreeing with their non-canon ship, people mocking other people's headcanons, invalidating them and mocking them because 'my headcanon is the only valid one.'
If you do know some good steddies on twitter who don't spend 3/4 of their time shitting on people's ship or harass them for their opinion then PLEASE redirect me to them. I do want to know the good side of this fandom. I really do. For now, all I've seen from them is bullying, gaslighting and zero respect for Hellcheers.
One of my mutuals literally got a death threat from a steddie just two days ago. And NO ONE batted an eye. No one. This person is still tweeting, unaffected. Their tweet got deleted by twitter but that's IT. All this over a SHIP.
THAT's why I want THOSE very specific steddies to be gone from twitter. THAT's why everything related to them leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
When we stand up for ourselves, we're just a bunch of toxic stans, but when steddies do it's all fine and they get praised for it? Come on now. Aren't we allowed to be mad, too? Aren't we allowed to be sick of being constantly spied on by anons on tumblr who report our every move to people like you and another blog which I won't name? This have been going on for too long.
Now, to your anons, who clearly should start a "keeping up with hellcheers" account at this point; It's been five months, nearly six. Why are y'all still lurking on our accounts? Why are y'all sending OUR tweets to other people on tumblr to gossip? Again, if you have something to say, say it to our face. Twitter is a public space. If you're scared to interact and hide behind anonymity to discuss instead, you're a pussy.
Have a nice day/night
I'm sorry, I didn't know it was you so I also answered the other one; I'll answer this as well because it's correct to post your reasons, and now I'm answering with mine:
I'm sorry that you only got a bad experience with steddies, nobody deserves to be threatened, calling names etc. for liking a ship, because that's what it is, a stupid fictional ship (meaning steddies, hellcheer, byler, lumax, every ship you can think of), I don't know who the anons that sent me your tweet are and I swear I don't follow/lurk around your twitter profile because I'm a fan of "don't like it, scroll it down/block it/ignore it etc." but since it got sent to me I commented because sometimes words hurts and honestly reading about the mass extinction of people just because they ship steddies is something that made some people mad, because it seemed also for people who just ship steddie quietly without giving crap to other shippers.
I usually don't care but when someone send something to me, I like to comment; I also prefer sc because I can censor the username but since the same isn't applied to my blog, with people already posting what I think on twitter without censoring my name and causing a wave of harassment every time I decided that I post links if I get them, for which I am kinda ashamed since I want to be a better person

Sooo, now that I know you like Encanto (and you are a Dolores stan like me), what are your general thoughts about the film? Also, did you know that Astruc gave it a bad review on Twitter? The fandom did a response and some of them even got blocked by him, lmao.
I like Encanto, 8/10. There's something missing in the 3rd Act that I LITERALLY can't put my finger on and the overall pace kinda wavers in the middle, but I'm a bit of a pedantic asshole who can't just Like Things anymore, so I keep that kind of complaint to myself unless pressed. I don't think it'll take away from anyone else's enjoyment of the movie.
As for Asstruc's "review", uhh, well, when it first came out I hadn't seen the movie so by the time I HAD seen the movie, the hype around the absolutely A U D A C I T Y of the man had kinda passed, but as for my opinion:
The guy is entitled to an opinion, even a wrong one. I believe this "review" was posted on his personal facebook and if I'm allowed to smack talk his show on my tumblr blog he's allowed to smack talk on his facebook. I don't even think he went into his rant with the intention of comparing it to his own work, but damn if he didn't give US a lot of ammo.
"Weak base mythology. Weak situations. Weak stakes."
How can he even say the mythology of the Magic of the Miracle is weak when it's showed how it came to be - twice! - yet the origins of the Miraculous and the formation of the magic of kwamis and Miraculouses are hidden in a side project comic book and tweets?
What "situtations"? I can only assume Tommy just didn't relate to ANYONE in the house if he found the situations not pulling on him emotionally in anyway. And like, bruh, how many of your Status Quo Yo episodes are straight up filler?
And to have me the temerity, the gall to have me read the phrase WEAK STAKES with my own two eyeballs when Chat Blanc and Ephemeral exist to show me TWO DIFFERENT WAYS the Villains will literally never be able to win. The cajones this guy has.
"Weak people because too many, so no time to develop them well." You've had 4 Seasons to prepare everyone for the Miracuclass of 15+ heroes and they STILL feel one dimensional, sit down.
"Weak Songs" the man who subjected us to the Christmas Special has his right to an opinion about this R E V O K E D.
Also the man who find situations like Marinette fake confessing to Adrien pretending to be a wax statue or Marinette accidentally giving Adrien a prescription for constipation medication or Marinette having her bedroom and crush televised all over Paris FUNNY has had his right to an opinion about "humor" ALSO revoked.
We're all entitled to an opinion, but that means people are allowed to have an opinion about your opinion and wow did my dude not handle people's opinion on his opinion well. Luckily I'm not on twitter (well not active I made an account but I'm Old and don't really put the energy into figuring out how it works so for not I'm just following a bunch of people and being a lurker) so I get to hear the highlights of how this man continues to not handle being a public figure on the internet with any semblance of grace.

Wtf. People are back again preaching to everyone that Kathony stans should be ashamed of Charithra deactivating her account.
I follow atleast a dozen Kathony blogs on tumblr and not a single person or anon has commented anything ill about her. Everyone has expressed sadness that the poor girl suffered.
Why are these people not going to twitter where the haters reside and preach there? And why should I be ashamed of loving my favourite character and asking for their fair treatment just because some unhinged degenerates were spewing hate on twitter. Take your sermons elsewhere you wannabe moral police force cult members🤬
I think much of it has to do with whether someone is on twitter or is updated on the situation from others. Twitter is generally a wild place where it's not rare for people to randomly send hate or even death threats so if I was told that x public figure was driven to deactivate their account I wouldn't question it or be surprised because this shit wouldn't be new there.
But in this scenario what happened was that the posters for the new season were published and after a month of shitty promo Kathony was given no solo poster as they should've– as Simon and Daphne got for s01. At no point were we told that such a poster would be released later on, and there would definitely not have been outrage if they either posted a Kathony poster and the triangle poster at the same time or they just told us that the season's main poster would be released on a later date. Many fans, especially from other ships, are acting as if a Kathony project is a given for some reason (?) and we're the brats for concluding that if they're not posting it on the day the posters were dropped it must be because the main is the first one they posted on that day aka the triangle one. Fans got reasonably mad and called out the production (THE PRODUCTION) for not centering their leads and some fans made edits to create the Kathony poster we didn't get. I was on twitter for the first hour or so after the posters were published and personally saw no one hating on Edwina's character or Charithra, on the contrary many specified that this had nothing to do with hating her character and that they loved Edwina and they simply wanted a poster with the show's leads. When I came back a few hours later many of my mutuals had been blocked by Charithra when they hadn't said anything hateful or tagged her in any posts. From what I was told later by a mutual she probably used a mass block (?) or something like that and that's probably why so many stans got blocked for no reason.
My issue isn't with Charithra. She probably got overwhelmed or didn't want to deal with all the negativity in a show that's her first big role and she was excited about. When they asked her what had happened she explained and unblocked those who asked her to. It's her decision what to do with her socials.
The fandom's reaction since this incident happened however is definitely playing moral police and pretending half the Kathony stans were after Charithra, when they know perfectly well most of the people that got blocked were just venting in their own accounts. This is supposed to be a fandom space, if we're not to share our opinions there where are we supposed to do it? So of course the story that circulated is that Kathony stans bullied Charithra out of twitter and we're being hateful and every other person is basically writing one post after another on how we shouldn't bully actors. And when engaging with these people and asking how posting your view in your account is bullying and if we're supposed to just never criticise the production even though they've been actively sidelining their leads, they're moving goalposts and saying that we create too much negativity this way and actors see these things and get upset....so I guess we are responsible for another adult’s experience on twitter or something and had better shut up.
I mean, I'm not surprised that the fandom jumped at the opportunity to vilify Kathony stans. For a month now they're coming up with more and more ridiculous excuses for the way Simone and Jonathan have been treated because they don't want to admit their faves are being favoured so the entire situation is more than convenient. The sad thing is that Kathony stans are just.. supporting them in this? Like, yeah, we should condemn fans who send hate to cast members, can anyone point me to any of those stans?? To report them if nothing else. Or are we just repeating again and again how kathonies send hate to actors for the sake of it?
Charithra has every right to distance herself from twitter. She probably got overwhelmed because she was enthusiastic about the project and she was disappointed to see so much negativity. THAT'S UNDERSTANDABLE AND VALID. But the situation should not be deliberately misrepresented by the fandom to silence any criticism towards the PR the season's leads are getting which has been unacceptable.
Personally I doubt anything will change re the promo. They'll keep selling Bridgerton as an ensemble show rather than treating their leads as leads, the fandom will keep pretending that this is all normal because they're getting what they want, their faves getting storylines and promo and stealing the spotlight in another couple's season, and any complaints will be interpreted as “spreading hate”. There's also this take that we're judging the season before we even watched it, when our criticism has been specifically about the promotion and not the content– so far we have heard very encouraging comments from members of the fandom who've had access to it early (without revealing anything obviously) and most of us have faith in Simone and Jonny doing their characters and story justice, love triangle or not.
I just hope the audience puts an end to this shitshow once the season comes out with their judgement so that public demand will bring on the exposure Simone and Jonathan should've gotten long ago.

I have a bunch of questions for WS anon since I am interested in other celebs possible pr too!
1. With your job, is it regular for anyone working in the industry to have tea? And do people working in or share what’s real or not?
I would say it gives you the opportunity to hear gossip or rumors that only people in the industry would know. I will say you'd probably need to go out of your way to learn about it. In my case I work with athletes and aside from the people they hookup with, their scandals, vices it's not really a place with tea. But I do make a lot of friends in the industry and we gossip all the time and they share from their respective fields and about the celebs they work with or have a connection to. I guess it's the same as any kind of workplace gossip.
Working in what? You mean working in pr? A celeb's pr team will never tell you what is real/authentic or straight up fake or a mix of both. The most they'll give is what strategies they impose or how they mold things. But not directly, oh this is fake btw. For obvious reasons, they keep a lot of things secret and things only they would know. A lot of friends in pr do like sharing input or teach our gc how things go or look for the signs or the strategies we wouldn't even have figured without their help. A lot of times we also just hear a lot of rumors from inside sources that just outward contradicts what is being presented by the media/pr play of a celeb.
2. Can you tell me your thoughts on often thought pr couples? I am not a harrie at all and I see this from pop culture blogs.
lily/timmy - I don't know if it's pure pr or not but I've at least heard Timmy was also hooking up with other women during all those times he was with Lily. A lot of people have told me it's pure pr/mostly pr though. They did seem like a nice match as future it girl/boy but their reunion it didn't seem as interesting.
seb/ale - I actually don't follow either of those two enough. I thought Seb has always been pretty open about his gfs? At least I thought him and Leighton were pretty public. For his current gf, if it's pr then he hasn't gain a lot of fame imo. The only place I see him relevant or getting talked about is the tumblr/twitter stans which while loud isn't that big. I mean his fans sure let his last film flop hard, I doubt the BO was even enough to pay him.
henry/nat - I feel like I blocked out Henry's love life when he was dating a 19 year old. But I would say this is real. Until I see Natalie suddenly becoming a star I'd say this is pretty standard for Henry. Him and Kaley, yeah none of you can convince me that was real.
chris/jenny - A lot of people will kill me, but since Jessie admitted she also thinks they're pr then I'll admit I do too.
tom/zendaya - I think they're real. Either way I love it. We can probably judge based on how long this will last.
shawn/camila - real, but my friend says they're way more subdued in private at least
bennifer - I already sent an answer to this before
ben/ana - the blueprint
hiddleswift - pr
abelena - pr
If you're asking if I think they're pure pr, I don't know what happens when they're alone together to say it's all fake. I imagine hiddleswift, abelena, ben/ana probably hookup in private but was never as serious or real as they made it appear. If you're asking if they're real and using it for pr, well yeah I would say all of these would qualify as they're using it for pr too which isn't a bad thing. Like Ryan/Blake are obviously real and using their relationship for publicity.
3. Do you think hiddleswift was bad pr for Tom?
Not really. I do think it was meant to be longer with a full better rollout and ended too early with Taylor backing out. As someone who considers herself a self-hating swiftie, Tom gained a lot of loyal fans in the fandom for example and hiddleswift was pretty memorable pop culture moment in general.
4. How do you really feel about the holivia questions and harries in general since you tend to get the most abuse from them?
I'm irritated because of the angry anons and people who can't respect opinion. Other than that, my opinion on holivia still remains the same and it will not physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, or financially hurt either Harry or Olivia. In the first place, I don't remember ever spending money for them. I think as long as Jessie allows pop culture discussion and allows the question, we can all and should respect opinion. I'm not in any way anti or pro holivia. I don't mind a pr relationship cause to me it's a normal and harmless part of their job. I also don't think pr should be equated as bad at all. We're kidding ourselves if we don't think celebs are like this.
5. I’m just basing this from the harry stans in this blog, but how do you see Harry benefit from holivia?
I already said this to my one harrie friend here but I always saw his fans overestimate his fame. Harry is big but he isn't BIG. He hasn't come to the level of Taylor, Drake, Ed, JB, or their counterparts for actors. Every celeb who came at that level went to levels of attention seeking and pr. When you're trying to venture into film, there are separate pr that could also be demanded from you. Being big in one industry doesn't equate to being an instant hit or success in the other. Especially when the film industry does have a lot of hesitation with singers to actors. Especially when with Harry he seems to want to be taken as a serious actor rather than the easy going route many of his contemporaries have done to jump start their acting career. Harry is being talked about a lot by blogs and accounts that used to barely mention him before. He is being discussed as a regular gossip which didn't happen for years. Imo fans just think he's too big for anything or that he is immune to pr or attention seeking. Me and my friends never saw him that way and we also never saw Harry as incredibly relevant or big, rather than he has an incredibly dedicated fanbase
Question for WS anon but I would also like to hear your opinion Jessie? Do you think Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling call the paps . Because I've generanlly heard that he is an extremely private ccelebrity but all those spottinga with his kid don't necessarily seem very organic to me Also are there any celebs that dont really call the paps?
You can be a private celeb and still call the paps. Ryan is a private guy but he has always been pretty open who he's dating and end of day they don't give us a lot of update or info about their relationship. Abel has started calling the paps a lot, but in hindsight he's still very private about himself.
I think the only celebs who don't call the paps are ones who don't have publicist.
- Worcestershire Sauce Anon

You answered this so thoroughly, thank you! X

I'm Black & Asian (South), and speaking ONLY for myself here and for no one else, I have forgiven Camila for those Tumblr reblogs.
While age doesn't excuse ignorant behavior, and the adults around kids absolutely have a responsibility to teach them that any kind of discriminatory jokes or language is NOT okay at all, it does make a difference to me that she was 14 when she reblogged those racist "jokes".
If she'd been like 17 or 18, I would have been like... Nah, fuck that.
And if the stuff had been recent, then I would basically hate her. But it was from 2011-2012 which was almost an entire decade ago now.
I was actually kinda pissed at her for like a whole year though. I didn't really know much about her back then, but I just heard about that, and so I was just like, "Ugh, I don't like her." And like I had this real distaste for her.
But I have forgiven her now. For me, another thing that made me forgive her was when I found out that some of the claims that people were spreading around online weren't actually true.
Like I'd been told that she'd had an "entire blog dedicated to racism" because that's what some people on Stan Twitter were saying, and so I was like, "Fucking yikes 😬"
But then I found out recently that it was actually a regular personal/fan blog that she'd had from ages 13 to early 15 and that it was mostly just made up of regular content and that there'd been about 8 racist "jokes" reblogged in total during that time.
And again, that still doesn't excuse it, and I still think that 14 year old Camila was an ignorant idiot and somebody that I absolutely would NOT have vibed with at all. But if the "entire blog dedicated to racism" claim had turned out to be true, I would never have forgiven her tbh. Even if she was 14.
But when I found out that that claim wasn't true, it did affect my opinion a lot. Because to me, reblogging 8 racist "jokes" (and I'm saying "jokes" in quotes because I don't think that racist jokes should be considered humor at all because they're really not funny at all and are just stupid and annoying) is very different to me than running an entire racist blog which is what some stans had been saying.
I'd say I'm like a casual fan of her now. Definitely not a stan (I'm not invested in her enough to stan her, and also, Shawmila kinda annoys me), but I do follow her on Instagram and listen to some of her music, and I know more about her than I did before.
I do think she's seemed to show a lot of growth and change over the last decade. And I've seen a lot of actual Black people that know her or that have met her in real life saying she's a kind person and that she's changed, so I'm taking their word for it too.
But again, only speaking for myself here. Out of my family: My dad likes some of her music (mainly Havana) and has forgiven her. My mum has forgiven her, but she hates her lmao (but not for the Tumblr stuff, just because she finds her annoying which is fair tbh 💀). Two of my sisters have forgiven her and are like very casual fans of her, but one of my sisters HATES her and always calls her racist, and that's fine imo. POC aren't a monolith. We have different opinions, and it's weird when white people expect us all to have the same opinions on things as if we're a hive mind or something.
My brother doesn't really care about her either way. Like he doesn't have an opinion at all.
And her new project, I do think the intentions behind it are mostly genuine considering that it's specifically focused on mental health support towards activists working for grassroots organisations that are led by and focused on POC, and Camila's been advocating for mental health for several years.
But even if it's not genuine, I don't really care tbh because this is something that's going to do ACTUAL good either way. Like when celebrities write their like social justice Instagram captions and stuff, I'm like, "...Okay, cool, this is fine and all, but please actually open your wallet 🤦‍♀️"
And so I'm glad that Camila's actually investing a lot of money into this project that will actually directly help people and do good, and I'm glad that she's been promoting these grassroots organisations on Instagram and handing her account over to them because really, who cares about what she has to say? I mean, she absolutely should have apologised, and I'm glad she did, but in the end, words are just words. So, I'm glad that she's actually putting in real effort and doing something that will actually effect real change in local communities.
So yeah, I've forgiven her, and I don't think she's racist. But again, that's just my opinion, and other POC (like my sister) are allowed to dislike her and be wary of her. And it annoys me when white stans act like we HAVE to forgive her because we don't. But I do think that she's a decent person personally, and I do like her for the most part.
I just really hope that she continues this project and keeps it going. If she drops it next year, I will be disappointed, and I'll probably stop being a fan tbh. She has to carry it on because it's important work, and she does kind of owe it to us since she wasn't exactly the best ally as a teenager :/
But yeah, I'm good with her now. I do find her personality a little bit too extra for my liking, but I don't think she's a bad person or anything, just slightly annoying sometimes. I don't like it when girls scream or like act over the top, but besides that, I think she's fine tbh.
This is really thoughtful thanks for sharing.

Do you recommend any jikook blogs? Maybe someone who doesn’t write books trying to prove they are a couple and calls non-believers homophobic
Someone chill who simply likes to talk about them
This is a loaded question, anon. You know it. I feel like I'm about to open Pandora's box. I'll try and be as fair and diplomatic as possible.
The benefits of free speech and having a platform to express our opinions is something that should be cherished. The more diverse the community is, the better. It means there's a wide sprectrum of thought, less chances of having a cult mentality and so on. This is an ideal situation and far from reality. And to talk more specifically about jikook bloggers here, you'd only have had to scroll through the tag in the last year or so to see cliques and conflicts all over the place. It's not uncommon and watching it from the side, reading all the arguments painted a dark picture but quite realistic. There's a need for conformism. It doesn't matter if one runs away from it, at some point or another, it reaches that same conclusion.
I'm someone who always stood outside, looking in in the context of this community here. I'd tag my posts from time to time, but I kept my independence. Mostly because I didn't have a jikook-focused blog, nor will I, despite me talking more freely now about the topic.
People's blogs are a reflection of themselves, of their affinities and also their abilities. Each of us likes one or another, depending on what we're looking for. We also tend to judge people for what and how they express their opinions. It's not unusual. We're a judgy species, despite sometimes trying really hard to appear the opposite of it.
Some bloggers have as a purpose demonstrating the relationship is real and that is their entire focus. Others like to write a long summary of events or basically transcribe into text what they see in video format (a succesful formula here on tumblr from what I could tell). Some people can come up with really good arguments against ridiculous statements. And sometimes they get lost in the argument because it's unstructured in some almost 300-400 word answer. All of it gets repetitive too. I've seen fun bloggers with a good sense of humor and some big dosage of delusion. Hey, sometimes we can and should be clowns. But not to the point of absurdity.
The fact that all of that exists is in theory a good thing. But a lot of those blogs are also becoming platforms built on allowing space for weirdos to set up camp in the community. From taekookers and crazy solo stans. I understand the need of having a good comeback and tearing apart their asks, but as much as that brings temporary satisfaction, on the long run it ruins the entire vibe. For a long time, that's all I could read about each time I would check the tag. It was infested and instead of fighting against it, it only grew bigger and bigger because those anons got the validation simply by being aknowledged.
You're asking for chill blogs. I think that's a rare occurence now and not really the current phase of jikook blogging. Maybe I'm wrong and I don't know the community well enough, I admit that's a possibility. I do remember a time when it used to be like that. Back when writing about jikook was sometimes combined with a pop culture perspective. Looking at it through a variety of lenses. That made me as a reader definitely interested. That was fun blogging. Now it's all way too serious or honestly? Boring. At least in terms of writing. That's one aspect that holds quite an importance for me. I still check the majority of active blogs, whether I'm a fan or not. I like to be informed, but that's it.
I'm not sure I can answer your question though. I don't see tumblr as the platform for what you want. There's higher chances of finding that on twitter. Sometimes I find accounts with no mentions of any drama, just fun, adult posting.
But I am going to mention two blogs though. Simply because they caught my attention. It's not about me considering them better, but in the current landscape, I found myself enjoying scrolling through them. Minggukieology provides some great cultural context and translation and I'd say it's in the same category as Dalloga. There's also ggulmul. I could be mistaken, but I think it's a more recent blog. I liked the attitude displayed in the blogger's answers. There was a sort of elegance in the way they responded and the appearance at least of a lack of chronic online presence. It's usually evident in the way a person expresses their thoughts.
All of what I wrote is based on mostly what is evident from the blogs which utilize the jikook tag. Others daily while some do it rarely, but are still known presences in the community. There's also a few who do not do that so who knows what is out there?
As a last thought, sometimes I would find myself scrolling through a random blog that had some kpop posting, but it wasn't fandom or ship focused. And from time to time, they would reblog a gifset or a jikook photo and they would put their thoughts into the tag. No agenda, no need to demonstrate or disprove anything. Sometimes small stuff like "boyfriend behavior" or "the gays are at it again", etc., in typical tumblr language. And then they'd move on and have like 5-10 reblogs about some archeological site or some historical event. Whatever. It was casual. I always wanted that vibe. Being outside of fandom discourse allows some type of freedom in which no one comes and harasses you in the inbox because you don't agree with a theory.

This account who's posted a couple of times in the jikook tag lately? shootersforjk? A self-identified OT6 and Taehyung anti. They are a pot stirrer, they tag vk, other ships, they shit on Taehyung, they get non-shippers and tkers pissed. Receipts will follow because I'm not going to be called a liar again, other people who are concerned like myself and I are not going to be made to feel like we're exaggerating the truth, and no one is going to tell me I'm promoting sheep mentality and setting a mob on anyone without some facts to back it up.
This behavior? What OT6s, akgaes, and people who put their bias or ship above everything and everyone else do? This is only going to affect us and the boys negatively because it absolutely ruins the fandom. It already is ruining the fandom.
Unpopular opinion time: I apologize if I offend anyone, but I and other people are getting tired of the jikook fandom overlooking problems within our own section. We spend so much time defending ourselves from antis it's really easy to forget there are troublemakers EVERYWHERE. And people have to take responsibility for what they are supporting.
It is not good enough for some of you to say, "If it was coming from a Jimin anti," or
"If it was coming from a tker I would have criticized them more/called them out/reported them/been all over it."
That is the height of hypocrisy, it is ugly, and it makes our side of the fandom look very bad. It makes us no better than them. This is something I really feel strongly about because after being on Twitter (and I know a lot of you stay away from it) now I see more of what goes on and let me tell you guys something.
The tumblr bubble phenomenon is real and the Jimin/jikook bubble on tumblr is real too. I feel like I've been somewhat brainwashed by tumblr in a way after taking mini breaks. I see much more negativity and hate from within the fandom and outside the fandom that is spread to ALL the boys much more evenly than what it may seem like in the bubble. I don't disagree on most points, I do think JM gets the most hate from within the fandom, but outside the fandom? From antis? It's not so simple.
And guys. This Park Bo*um thing? I have my thoughts about it but it has taken a life of its own both here and on Twitter. The way I've seen this used as a means to bash Taehyung, and you know what's really funny guys?
I've never heard of it until now. It wasn't until PB was in the bangtan bomb that this has become a "thing" that I've seen. So many people I know didn't even know he was in a cult or anything about what they do.
I find the whole timing of this, it being used against Taehyung to bash him, call him names and things we shouldn't call him because we know nothing about their personal lives in reality, especially him, all at the same time everyone is raving about jeonlous and the jikook moment.
I'm highly suspect guys and just a touch disgusted because where was all this when people found out over a hear ago PB was in a cult and the media reported it and he's been tweeting religious things for idk who knows how long.
Where was it all?
I don't support anyone using something to bash on another member just because they think it makes their ship look better and I think that's been a motivating factor behind a lot of it, beyond the actual sincere concern many of us have who just found out about it. I'm sorry if that's an unpopular opinion. I'm not comfortable with the PB situation either, it makes my skin crawl. But watching that video? I got the feeling TH and PB maybe aren't as close as they used to be, that seemed obvious to me and a lot of other people saw the tension too. The whole thing was weird, all of it.
The amount of pjms who dislike Taehyung because of his solo stans is staggering. The amount of OT7s who dislike the jikook fandom because of the constant feud between shippers is staggering. No one likes Jimin solo stans. Other shippers like yoonkook, minjoon, sope, vmin? They despise taekook and jikook because of how we all act. They really do. They like the ships or the pairings but they can't stand what the fans have become.
Back to the point of the post. Here are the receipts, because no one is going to accuse me again of promoting a mob mentality w/out facts or suggesting that I or anyone else who is upset about this is lying, only because you're willing to overlook toxic things for a jikook/Jimin blog, outright lie about ever seeing anything, then contradict yourself in black and white in a follow up post.
I doubt this account will delete their posts like some big accounts have because they're just an attention seeker and love the drama and want to keep the posts up because it makes them feel relevant, so anyone can go to their @ and see what I'm talking about.
But, if anyone wants to be lazy, bury their head, or just lie and say they haven't seen anything and "it didn't happen in front of me oh iddkkkk" well here you go. No excuses. These guys don't deserve that.
Oh, and if anyone is wondering why I didn't tag their @. I blocked them and I am not engaging in anything some of you may consider a "conversation." If you want to be self-righteous and think I should be open to that, you're welcome to feel that way. I'm welcome to say where you can step off, too. Most people talk about a devil but they don't talk to him. Same thing. I'm not about to engage myself with hate, negativity, and toxicity that I know comes from a sick place. If someone makes a mistake and regrets it and they apologize and they're sincere that's a different situation, I have no problem forgiving someone for a mistake. If we never forgave anyone we'd be miserable people. The blogs I've been discussing here lately? They're the miserable ones. They're the ones who say things for attention and out of obsessive love no matter the harm it causes, and it does cause harm. I refuse to let it slide and continue to ignore it like some of you.
Receipts.
This was the 'normal' jikook post they made recently that had a ton of notes. But anyone notice how they tagged the opposite ship to create drama? Anyone notice the contempt in their tone?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The most recent post. Again, everything they say, they say it to provoke.
Tumblr media
As for the Taehyung hate and OT6? OT6 is clearly in their bio description. It's how they identify themselves. I'll just let you see the posts for yourselves.
