We don’t have any kind of promoting algorithm here, so it’s not like reblogs suddenly will make our post explode in views or interaction or anything. I feel like new people might think we’re just fishing for exposure when we ask that.

Truth is, reblogs just are the only way of knowing people enjoyed something. Reading people’s tags on our fics and posts is the fun part of creating.

I recommend people to reblog even if they have no followers because it makes the creators really really happy. That’s all.

Creators really do get the shit end of the stick here. If we dont do very specific things we won’t even show up in tags. If we don’t have some luck, tumblr will just decide to not show our posts. People liking a post doesn’t do anything. I only ever see it as a measure of how many people saw something, not actually enjoyed it. ♡♡
