So I think the main takeaway we all got from the last chapter, besides 'are they really doing the AFO gave Tenko decay thing,' is wondering what Eri's running off to do. Some think she'll be used to restore OFA and/or undo all Deku's damage to bring him back to full power. Others are thinking/worrying she'll be used to unsatisfyingly turn Tomura back into a 5 year old with no memory of killing his family so Deku can circumvent both Tomura's traumas & his criticisms towards hero society.

But I don't really like either of those ideas (not even the healing Deku thing at this time, it'd undo too many of his sacrifices); so me personally, I think she's going to reintroduce the rooftop trio back into the plotline. I mean with the entire League besides Tomura dealt with, they're basically the only dangling plot-thread left in this arc besides the big final fight.

What she'd do I'm not entirely sure. I don't really like the idea of her reverting Kurogiri into his past self that's most convenient to the heroes anymore than her doing that to Tomura. I guess she could heal Aizawa's injuries to let him properly use his quirk again though, that could be cool.

But I think the possibility that most appeals to me is, instead of introducing her for her quirk, instead uses her for an emotional beat for Aizawa. A big part of the Shirakumo plot (as I've interpreted it at least) has been Aizawa & Mic being too focused on their high school years with Shirakumo, enshrining that time to represent what they believe Kurogiri should be like. Mic at once point is even prepared to kill Kurogiri if he's not got enough Shirakumo in him so he can't taint Aizawa's memory of him.

So Eri coming in for an emotional moment with Aizawa, maybe to heal him or maybe just to ask he stay standing in that hero way, could disrupt that narrative; and for the better I think. Remind him that the past is one thing, but he's got responsibilities in the present, a kid he's taking care of.

And if I am so lucky, that might just cause Kurogiri/Shirakumo to come to a similar realization. Aizawa & especially Mic might have some opinions on the arrangement, but the fact is that for the past 15-ish years, their friends has been looking after a kid who's currently in danger. And while catching up has been nice, saving Tomura Shigaraki from that danger probably takes precedence over some high school friends. Sad to say, they've all grown up to take on responsibilities in conflict with each other; and if there's any resolution to that, it's probably found in the present or looking forward, not staying stuck in the past.

Eri’s princess’ guard

That was kinda uncool, Mirio. Especially coming from a senpai. Just look at this pained, fake laugh.

Inappropriate introduction of Monoma from Mirio aside, I like Monoma’s interactions with Eri because we get to see more of his character beyond its flanderization. During the sports fest, Monoma was quickly established as being a very observant and intelligent person... and then those traits got banned to the backseat in favour of his obsessive rivalry with 1-A.

Personally, I'm not too bothered by that shtick: I read someone's interpretation about how Monoma's "hate" of class 1-A, is just his love for 1-B that comes out in the most annoying way - but it's a pity, that the majority of his appearances got boiled down to mainly that.

However, Monoma has also been shown to be quite sensitive and considerate of other people’s feelings: He elbowed Aizawa - a teacher who's well-known to be strict - when the latter phrased something in a very blunt manner, which might have made Eri sad. Just like the rest of UA’s students, Monoma’s a capable hero-in-training, and a good kid at heart. Being around Eri gives him opportunities for his dramatics to find a more positive outlet, and to show a gentlemanly side worthy of his design.

I found it very cute how Tokoyami’s eyes lit up, when Eri appeared at 1-A's Christmas party. Eri was greeted at the door by five people: Deku, Uraraka, Asui, Kirishima - all who were involved in the Shie Hassaikai raid - and Tokoyami.

I can see 1-A's resident emo-kid having a soft spot for children in general. But to me, his reaction here seemed more like he and Eri had met each other before.

Which makes me wonder about their first interactions: Eri is a very kind girl but she’s also a young child who was traumatized by thugs, who constantly wore plaque masks around her. On the other hand, the novels have shown Tokoyami to be a hit with another little girl, who got lost. Tokoyami talks and dresses like a plus ultra chunnibyou, but similar to Monoma, I can see his dramatic language being popular with young children. Tokoyami's also very kind and usually on the more patient side. I imagine he and Eri would've approached each other tentatively but became friends very quickly.

Ojiro, it's fine, really! Tokoyami will tell you that Eri's worthy of the sword's power.

To Eri, Deku and Mirio are her heroes and older brothers. But Monoma and Tokoyami are her fairytale prince and dark knight respectively.

And now I wonder about interactions between Monoma and Tokoyami. 1-A vs 1-B shtick aside, I feel like those two might get along with each other well.

Strange things happened in MHA and I want to talk about them.

For the above reasons? That made me scratch my head at myself. How can you be sure that the deceased really was someone who had sex with a high school girl? It's true that the location of his death was hidden from the eyes of many contemporaries, but you don't know that in… Japan has a career called "Girlfriend for Rent," which I think some high school girls actually choose to do because it pays. And their job is to just walk around and talk, but there's definitely nothing sexual in them. MHA is a manga that takes place in Japan If the deceased wasn't a pervert who had sex with a high school girl. But what about students or human uncles (?) who use the "girlfriend rental" service?

Chapter 78

On our way to the changing room, Izuku explained to me what happened in the morning.

"I woke up early so I could get some training done for a new technique and I lost track of time," we entered the U.A. building and continued on our way, "I bought the rope we needed and on my way back I... Encountered a villain."

A heavy sigh escaped me and that made Izuku panic, rushing to explain the situation.

"He wanted to get into U.A. which would've set off the alarms and that would have cancelled the Festival, Midnight sensei said so that one time! I... I couldn't allow him to do that..." He looked down and closed his hands in fists, and I could see his jaw clenching, "I didn't want him to prevent Eri-chan from smiling, (M/n)-kun."

Another sigh left my lips, but I could understand why he did it, after all, it was for Eri and everyone else who had worked so hard on getting ready for the Culture Festival, it would've been a bummer if it got cancelled just because a villain wanted to get in and do who knows what.

Feeling more relaxed at Izuku's explanation, I chuckled and brought him closer to me as my arm was still wrapped around his shoulders, a wide and bright smile on my face as I heard him squeal, "That's our Deku-kun~! Isn't he such a good hero, hm?"

And just as I expected, he began to freak out, his face ablaze and stuttering so much I couldn't understand what he was even saying, and of course, all I did was chuckle at his behaviour.

"Oh! There you are! (M/n)!" I looked ahead of me, where I heard my name being called, only to spot Kirishima with a very angry-looking Katsuki, so I definitely had to think of something quickly.

"Katsuki!" I ran to him and took advantage of the fact that Kirishima and Izuku knew we were dating to hold his face in my hands and lean down to kiss him. He was caught off guard, as I know the other two males were as well.

"Midoriya, let's give them some privacy..." I heard Kirishima mutter as he probably dragged Izuku with him, and at this point, I was expecting Katsuki to blast me away or push me at the very least, but he was actually getting into our kiss, which could be dangerous so I took the decision to back away.

"I missed you, love," he opened his eyes and stared at me with a dazed look in them, my hands still holding his face and slowly stroking his flushed cheeks with my thumbs, "Feels like I didn't get to see you much today."

I watched how a smirk grew on his face and his hands gripped my wrists, "Might as well get that time back, right?"

"It was so much fun!" The whole class was in a good mood the moment we entered the dorms, everyone had a wide smile on their face despite how tired they probably were as well. It was a good day, everything went better than expected, and it was thanks to Izuku for the majority of that.

I walked over to him as he sat down on one of the couches and I leaned over his shoulder, ruffling his curly hair, "Uwa! (M/n)-kun, what-?"

"Thank you, Izuku." He looked at me with a surprised expression on his face before his wide smile appeared.

"What are you thanking that damn nerd for, dumbass?" Before I could even reply back to Katsuki, he grabbed the collar of my shirt and dragged me away, "You're gonna help with me dinner, now wash your hands."

After Katsuki let me go, I saw Sato and Yaomomo here as well, both of them looking at the blond with a 'that's was unnecessary' look on their faces, before showing me an apologetic smile, I just let out a breathy chuckle and did as Katsuki told me.

Apparently, we were gonna eat curry for dinner and I made sure I used a different pot to make Katsuki's curry as spicy as I could, I didn't want the rest of the class to burn their mouth just because Katsuki loves spicy food, even I can't eat what he can.

Surprisingly, cooking dinner didn't take us too long and now we were making our way to the table, calling out dinner was ready and soon compliments about the appearance and smell of the curry were mixed with one another.

Katsuki and I sat down at the usual table with the rest of the squad, now Jiro joining us as well, talking to Mina and Kaminari.

"Oh, by the way," I spoke up, getting their attention, "The smaller pot is Katsuki's spicy curry, so I wouldn't recommend eating it."

Their sight shifted from the pot to Katsuki's plate, his curry was darker than the rest of the class, and just a glimpse of it made the colour drain from their faces, "Ha! Not my fault they're weak as fuck!"

I chuckled and picked up my spoon, hearing the subtle growling of my empty stomach.

"Unlike you, we love our stomachs, Katsuki." He tsked at me but didn't argue back. I was really hoping this would be a calm and chill dinnertime, but Kaminari...

"And we aren't masochists..." It was mumbled, but the sudden quietness of the table was heavy enough to let the blond across from us that his words were heard, clearly as well.

"What did you say?" Katsuki's voice made Kaminari tense, while Kirishima tried to tell Katsuki he misunderstood his words, "Oh, I'm pretty sure I understood them well, shitty hair."

By now, the known sound of his explosions was gaining the attention of the rest of the class who were now looking at us, tense and on edge. I wasn't sure what Katsuki would do, exactly, but he was gonna blow something up, and well, that couldn't happen.

Without thinking much about it, I held his hands in mine, catching him off guard while I held back a grunt of pain, thankfully, Katsuki immediately stopped his quirk so my palms were probably pretty much unharmed, nothing some cold water and ice wouldn't fix. Even so, he looked at me concerned, but I smiled.

"None of that, Katsuki. Let's have a normal meal for once!" I exclaimed with a wide smile to the rest of the class, and that seemed to be enough to ease the tension in the air, "And I'm pretty every aspiring hero has at least some masochist tendencies, Pikachu."

Hearing Jiro's muffled laugh made others smile and chuckle as well, "Well, you might be right!"

Already in my room, I yawned as I plopped on my bed. My eyes were closing on their own, and I was about to fall asleep, when my door opened from the outside.

"What now, Katsuki?" I mumbled as I rubbed my eye, trying to hold back another yawn but failing. Without uttering a single word, he walked closer to my bed and dropped his body on top of mine, humming in content as he snuggled up to my neck.

"You did great today... Singing with ears," a breathy chuckle escaped me, and I wrapped my arms around his middle, nuzzling my nose against his soft spiky hair.

"Thank you, love, but her name is Jiro," he grunted and shifted around until his legs were in between mine, "I would praise your drumming skills, but I'm sure you're already aware of how good you are at it, Katsuki."

He lifted his head and looked me in the eyes, "Dumb of you to assume I need your praise..."

We stayed quiet, staring into each other's eyes for a few seconds, and then I noticed a pout growing on his lips.

"Can you praise me?" His expression and voice forced me to close my eyes and hold my breath, otherwise, I would've freaked out at how cute he was behaving.

"Of course I will, puppy."

Starting today, every new chapter is completely new and yeah, that means it'll take me longer to post new chapters and there will -most likely- only one new chapter every week? Two weeks? Depends on my mood and motivation and inspiration and- lots of things are involved when it comes to writing 😅

Aizawa Is A Bad Teacher

[ NOTE: The questions I screenshot are from another account, I just couldn't find a way to get them all into one post without it being messy. So this is just me answering each one, to give my own perspective. ]

I think it's because Shinsou is a LOT like him, but yeah it's still very shitty for him to do. He should've been the class 1B teacher instead.

This is why I never really liked Aizawa, he reminds me of my abusers way too much and I didn't like how strict/careless he truly is.

I hope that, if he did ever have a kid, it would be the biggest wakeup call of his life. And we do see him treat Eri fairly, but that could be because of her quirk and how she's literally only 4/5 years old. Kinda can't treat a kid the same way he treats his students without being seen as a villain.

From what I've seen, that was supposed to be the case. But Shouta feels like a lesser version of Batman, at least the latter actually cared about his Robins (depends on the canon but majority of Batmans do). With Aizawa, we do not need that same care unless it's with Shinsou.

I think it was even canon that Aizawa just hates All Might for being 'too forgiving' on his enemies. But I've also never seen him favor Endeavor either, I think he just hates people in general.

All Might is a decent teacher, at least he considers everyone's thoughts/feelings and dynamics with one another. Aizawa has not once done that, unless it deals with the troublemakers (Bakugou and Izuku) or that one time when Ochako blamed herself for that one time (though I bet it was just his own trauma and being like 'hey I understand this so let me go fix a mistake I made with myself years ago' kind of thing). The ONLY good point Aizawa has is when he says 'live for the students' to All Might when it was clear the old man had given up on living. But that is ONE point, out of so many others where Aizawa fucked up.

YES. Aizawa is a liar, if he believes these are all a 'logical ruse' then he is really fucked up in the head. I am glad that he made some (very minimal) progress when it was found out that Oboro was Kurogiri, I think the guy just has a ton of trauma he needs to work through and that was the first step. I do think how he is now is better than before, at least now he seems to actually care about his students and he realizes he fucked up badly. Just wish it was before he got his leg and eye taken away, essentially making his quirk trash.

Ugh, having Aizawa as a teacher would be the worst. I did get along with teachers that were like All Might and the rest, but Aizawa would be my 13th reason for finally dropping out. Especially if it was young/teen me? Yeah, he'd be on for 2nd degree murder with my suicidal ass.

THIS. I understand they are training to be heroes, and in this specific circumstance it worked. But ONLY because they were all going to war, which btw Aizawa didn't even stop from happening at all (he did have a heel-face turn during the 1st war which was nice to see as we saw him start to care for his students but it was ONLY thanks to Deku saying losing him would be the worst thing ever). Maybe it's because he held himself to that same standard, so he thinks all future heroes should be the same...but he is damn lucky none of them became a villain, though that was because Deku brought them all together simply by being himself. Aizawa was NOT needed, aside from his quirk he was essentially useless as a person. An maybe he knew that, it wasn't until Deku that he saw some value in living on (which is why he cut off his leg - normally he wouldn't have done that).

tl;dr - Aizawa is a bad teacher. He is too strict with his teachings, makes assumptions that he rarely ever changes, outright LIES to his own students, puts his students in danger all the time, and cares more about a student from 1B (Shinsou) more than teaching his own class. But, we have to keep in mind that the man was traumatized by losing his friend Oboro (and then Midnight...and now possibly Mic) so he probably feels like his life isn't even worth it. And it wasn't him that wanted to be a teacher, it was actually Oboro. So he only took the job to fulfill his (dead) friend's dream, and it makes it clear why Aizawa is such a bad teacher. He didn't even want this, but feels obligated to regardless of what he truly wants. And yes, he did finally realize he cares for his students...but only when he finally lost the ability to use his quirk, meaning he has to rely on others now instead of just himself.

Might be a stretch but I think we’ve seen Transmission (the 2nd users quirk) before… being used by accident in order to save Eri. Either I’m delusional or hori has proved yet again that he’s a sneaky little shit.

He’s genuinely confused and is just kind of… guessing what just happened. There wasn’t an explanation and it was just never brought up again. If you look at this whole fight, there’s multiple times where it seems like it could’ve been used (especially in the anime but I don’t think that’s a fair statement considering how much extra there is in this fight in the anime) as well and Eri being there meant that his 5 minute timer was just being restarted so he didn’t experience the blow back.

If you remember, we never saw the seconds quirk get “unlocked” like Black Whip and Float did. Meaning, he’s been able to use it, he just hadn’t cuz he had no clue that OFA had multiple quirks within it and once he learned that it did he continued not to cuz the second user warned him about it.

It also explains nighteye not understanding how his foresight was changed… because it was really OFA just working on its own and Deku using that to his advantage... this was just the beginning of that trend.

Another thing I thought of when it was explained that OFA can work at a cellular level…

I already kinda thought about this and I’m sure others have too but—like the doctor said—his quirk saved his bones from breaking meaning that OFA quite literally has a mind of its own. Whether it’s OFAs desperation for self perseveration until AFO is defeated or OFA actually caring and protecting Deku… I’m really not sure. Every vestige has different ideals and morals, some we don’t even know so it’s just hard to tell. And there’s even characters in story that have concerns about OFAs genuineness.

I don’t have any theories that to go with this, I’m just saying that I think we’ve unknowingly seen transmission before because it was OFA working on its own kinda like blackwhip did. He was focused on a task and his quirk sought out to complete it even when no one knew what was actually happening.

(just like when Katsuki unlocked Cluster. He’s the only other person that’s quirk was worked like OFA in a sense that it got an unpracticed power up. Just like Deku, he had no idea how Cluster happened. It just… did. But we saw where that power up got him… Do I think he has OFA? As of rn, no. I think he’s become apart of it through connection to Deku and since OFA just does shit on its own sometimes I think it’s safe to say the quirk just kinda sucked him in once he died to protect him and ensure his revival since it’s some kind of all-knowing entity. Again, whether it be for self preservation or actual protection, I’m not sure… but that’s for a different post)

I don't know why people still freak out about deaths here, it's like they forget this is a shonen death has no meaning if you're even slightly important. I'd love it if horikoshi stopped with these fake outs and let one death actually stick but we all know that isn't gonna happen. I don't doubt horikoshi will undermine this moment in any number of ways. Kurogiri still kicking around with warp, kamui woods, tiger, tsu, jiro, any number of heroes who can get help to them or get them to help. Hell a rescue hero could show up, maybe hawks helps. If someone else gives some blood too no one has to die. She could somehow get super regeneration since we got 2 afos on the field. Eri could Rewind her, we always got eri. And it doesn't even have to be as complicated as that, the clones are gone the news is watching so maybe just medics show up and save everyone. The point stands even if they completely destroy toga I won't believe she's dead till the Mangas over. So until then, regardless of what we hope, we can assume she's alive and well.

I think the biggest argument in this case is that Toga's death doesn't make sense for the story. If Toga dies here, the new gen didn't really achieve anything important.

Toga's self-sacrifice is needed the same way Bakugou needed his "Rising" moment. It's a pay-off to show that approaching villains who show no remorse with compassion can save their hearts and not just neutralize them but turn them from a force of destruction to a force of good. They can become society's strength if they are given a chance, which should make the adults reflect if the way they've approached hero society was the right way.

If Toga dies here, it's a failure for Ochako and in the end proves that her method and Hawks' lead to the same result.

If the first war was about both sides going all out the "old way" and both sides really losing, then the second war is about the ideals the story expanded on mostly through Deku's and Bakugou's arcs - "save them all" and "complete victory with no losses".

These are the pure ideals they represent which go beyond even All Might's achievement. It's these ideals being put to the test in a society that's changing - where everyone is going plus ultra to save the ones they can reach, where formerly complacent civilians are taking action, where pragmatism is thrown into the wind to be replaced by idealism and optimism. And it's the kind of story that will prove its child protagonists right in the end and have them inspire everyone around them.

Trying your absolute best and still just ending in tragedy is not particularly inspirational and would be abandoning the themes the story developed.

Con. From part 3

Shoto asked Izuku to meet up under a Sakura tree at the park (Mina says that the mystical powers of the tree would help him confess and get a yes), so he went there.

Izuku, managed to get out for the day on good behavior, he is at the point where none was going to accompany him this time. He left Eri in the coutody of Iida because who else should this man trust there? And went to see the two toned boy.

"Izuku-"

"Hey Shoto, why did you ask me to come out here?"

"Well- I wanted to ask... would you like to go on a date with me?"

"Shoto- I-" this was soon- too soon- he hadn't iron out his plan for this situation- so- he started to panic, and didn't notice the tears streaming down his face

Shoto was shocked, but went to toutch Midoriya to comfort him, only to be met with shock and fear. Something he knew all too well

"...who hurt you "

"N-"

"W. H. O."

"Just-" he sighed, this was all too much "I'm a Vilain Todoroki, who hasent hurt me?"

That stunned Shoto into silence, sweet little Izuku, a villain? Impossible.

"Please, listen to what I have to say-"

Shoto nodded in confusion

"I can't be with you- if you're a hero... you're the only one out of us who has that choice. Don't make it just for me tough- make it for yourself-"

"Why are you a villain?"

"Do you know of any quirkless heros? Have you ever met someone who was quirkless outside of me"

Shoto only shook his head, thinking on it, there really wasn't ANY quirkless heros, many villains have been quirkless or had revered in the quirkless being the best of anyone.

"Well, a common experience for them is to be ostracized from those with quirks who think they're the best, and of course, not having any kind of quirk would be useless in a fight, according to them. They are wrong- and I've proved that... never needed to be one of the top heros- just... to be one for those like me- and what I got for it? Give up. Kill yourself. Useless. Stupid stupid Deku..."

Shoto went to Izuku, and held him, close and tightly

"Your not useless or stupid... I think you're quite smart..."

Izuku sniffles and chuckled weakly "so yeah- villain origin- bullied to death and couldn't even die in peace..."

That clicked it all together for Shoto

"Let me join you..."

Izuku looked at Shoto, confused and a bit worried

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, we both have flaming assholes in our lives. Let's make it so that they can see true hellfire"

Izuku giggled, then laughed "alright- alright- I'll give you the organization for you to join, and we'll be able to stay in toutch and we'll uh-" he blushed a bit, but he didn't need to say a word, Shoto knew what he was thinking there, so he gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Alright, I'm going to go now ok? I'll see you soon"

Shoto decided, that he needed to do things, the way Touya did them. If the weak and the strong are hurt, who else is actually safe?

None.

Pro hero Endeavors son, after failing his hero exam, burnt down half of the Todoroki estate, it seems that his quirk malfunctioned while training causing half the bounding to burn down, while the other half froze over. There have been no casualties within the home due to the elder children being out of the house, his mother in a mental asylum, and Endeacor doing pro hero work. Frozen ashes were found at the scene belonging to Todroki Shoto, the instigator of the whole thing. More at 11.

“ You saw her?” His eyes widened, and for the first time in a while he looked as if he might smile, before his face settled into one of sadness.  “ What... was she okay, I mean she can’t be okay, but did she look well?”

“ I-”

“ I mean was she injured?”

“ No, but she was-”

“ She was what? Spit it out-”

“ Shut-up shitty hair, and let me talk. I can’t imagine that we would have much time.”

By this time all eyes in the room were on him, and he realized that he caused quite a commotion in the common room. Bakugou looked at Deku, who was looking at him with a quizzical look, he did a hand gesture to motion him out of the room, followed by Todoroki who was close on his heels, who was followed by Denki. He grabbed Kirishima by the arm and drug him in the hallway.

Kirishima let him and didn’t put up that much of s fight, just allowed himself to be drug down the hallway and forced into a nearby school supply closet. It was dark and quiet, and everyone stood still, unsure of what Bakugou was going to say, and confused of his strange behavior.

Bakugou flicked on the light switch to reveal a pained expression on his face.

“ I know how to find Y/N.” his voice was brash and determined. “ Gimmie your phone.” he stated, he held out his hand, and Todorkoi placed his phone in his palm. “ I sliped my phone in Y/N’S jacket pocket.” he said, typing furiously on the cell phone.

“ I don’t understand how your lost phone-” Deku started, but stopped himself mid sentence. “ You have a tracker on your phone, don’t you?”

“ Yeah, she won’t notice until she gets... wherever that she is staying that the phone is in her pocket, and with any luck she won’t even think that she’s being tracked” the phone in his hand beeped, and they all looked at the location of his phone.

Emma’s Cafe. His phone was at Emma’s Cafe.”

“ Why would your phone be at  Emma’s Cafe?” Denki questioned. “ I mean why would Y/N be at-”

“ Maybe she found the phone, and ditched it there.”

“ Nah.. she would have just destroyed it.” Bakugou stated. He was still putting the puzzle pieces together in his head. Emma’s Cafe seemed so familiar to him, in a way that he couldn’t place.

“ Maybe she lives above the Cafe or something?” Todoroki suggested

“ Is this place open 24 hours?” Denki spoke. “ She could have fallen asleep in a booth or something.”

Bakugo’s eyes widened, he got an idea, but quickly forced it out of his mind. He looked at Deku, who wore his usual quizzical expression and looked to be deep in thought.

“ I don’t know why she’s there, and I frankly don’t care.” he slammed his fist on the wall. “ Tomorrow were going, maybe we can talk some sense into her.”

“ I don’t know why that would work, I hardly doubt words would fix-” Todoroki started.

Kirishima who was oddly quiet finally said something. “ When she first got arrested, all she wanted was a conversation... and we couldn’t even give her that then, so we should do her the decency of one now.” he lifted is head up.

“ We leave at 7, tomorrow morning. Either be there or don’t.” Bakugo spoke, he tried his best to speak in a whisper, but it was more of a shout. “ I won’t be waiting for you.” He left after that, accidently slamming the door behind him.

Everyone else filed out of the room, offering small words of encouragement, but Kirishima couldn’t quite form them into actual words in his brain. They left Kirishima in the supply closet by himself with nothing more than his thoughts. He fell to the floor, covering his mouth in a attempt to muffle his sobs. If anyone walked past they would have heard him sobbing. His thoughts were too tough to bear, and always drifted into something bad.

When he finally gained the footing to make it back to his room, he lied awake staring at the ceiling, afraid to go to sleep, worried that his mind would drift to the bad thoughts.

It had been a long day for both Eri and Y/N. Eri had quite the adventure, managing to escape from Kai, and make it soo far that she ran into two hero’s who were doing patrol.

Y/N went to the mall, to meet a friend, ran into her boyfriends, well her ex- boyfriend, even though they never really broke up. She ran into her ex-boyfriends best friend, and got in a minor scuffle with him ending with him being knocked out, and her running away.

Eri was hiding underneath the covers, hoping the monsters that haunted her life would go away. When she hears footsteps approaching she begans to shake and whimper. They got closer, and she fought tears brimming in her eyes. The bed shifted next to her, and it wasn’t until she heard a comforting voice that she came out of her hiding place.

“ Heard you went on quite the adventure today.” Y/N brightly smiled. 

“Yeah.” Eri chirped. But her face turned to something dark. “ But I got in trouble.”

“ Don’t worry about that.” Y/N said waving her hand away to dismiss the bad thoughts and  memories. “ Tell me about it.”

Eri was hesitant to speak, worried that she would say the wrong thing and get in trouble again.

“ Did you have fun?” she prompted.

“ It was really scary at first.” she squeaked. “ But... it was really warm outside and there were birds.”

“ What color were they?”

“ I don’t know... I couldn’t see them....but I met a man... he had yellow hair.”

“ Yellow hair?” Y/N asked, hoping that she would talk longer. Eri had a sweet voice, that could make anyone smile on their worst day.

“ And and another man with green hair.”

“ Green hair, hmm?”

“ Yeah his name was Deku I think.”

“ Deku?” Y/N asked. She tries to hide the question and concern in her voice.

“ Yeah and he was really nice, and gave me the worlds biggest hug, and called me sweet. He was really nice.” she kept repeating that the green haired man was the nicest man that she had ever met.

Y/N wanted to ask more questions about him, but couldn’t bring herself to do it. Eri just seemed so happy, for the first time ever, and she couldn’t bring her down with her own personal issues.

Eri kept talking about all the new things that she saw, and the blonde man and the man with green hair. It was clear that she was fighting being tired because her eyelids were getting droopy and she kept yawning.

“ I think that means that it’s time for bed.” 

Eri crossed her arms over her chest and shook her head violently. 

“ You need to sleep.” Y/N stated, pulling her covers up to keep her warm.

“ But last time I went to sleep... he hurt me.” the last part was a whisper, like she was afraid someone was listening.

“ I won’t let anyone hurt you tonight.” She looked at her like she couldn’t belive her. “ I promise.”

Eri didn’t so much believe her, as her tiredness overcame her. She fought her sleep through lidded eyes,

“ M’ scarred.” 

“ It’s okay, I’ll be here to protect you.”

“ Will you stay with me, please.” she whimpered.

Y/N nooded and crawled into her bed. She pulled Eri close to her chest as if she was the only person in the world, and to her she was. Y/N started shaking, she tried her best to stop, as to not wake Eri, but she couldn’t. She stayed awake all night plagued by waking nightmares that haunted her, as well as Eri, the girl she swore to protect at all cost, even though she was sure that she wouldn’t be able to.

“ You’re okay.” she muttered. “ Nobody will hurt you.” she told herself it was for Eri, but it was really for herself.

this is super silly to send as an ask and i know edgeshot has like 4 manga appearances but when he was introduced during the heroes' raid to rescue bakugou, the first thing he did was fiddle with kurogiri's insides to make him pass out and then tell bakugou "i have made use of the weakness that YOU once exposed" (ch. 88) and the same chapter Shigaraki was having flashbacks to no one coming to save him after literally every top hero and their cousin showed up to save bakugou — idk if this means anything at all, but maybe this might trigger another reaction from shig part of shig!afo?

also horikoshi is the funniest person in this world for this choice i really cant decide if an edgheart is more or less cursed than a jeart

That’s like…one of the things I’ve been saying about Shigaraki for a while and what he’s been so personally hurt/offended by.

In front of his face, all the time, people keep showing up in groups and putting in their entire effort to save other people.

Bakugo had all those pros show up, and that triggered a memory for Shigaraki. But then not only that, Midoriya and company showed up later to save him in the same night. AND Shigaraki’s memories were triggered AGAIN:

Then fast forward to the Overhaul arc and everyone and their mom shows up to save Eri. Midoriya being the star of that show (which I’m sure he noticed). And we all know Eri is a little reflection of Tenko.

Eri got what Tenko needed.

And NOW ShigAFO is about to see a hero die for Bakugo’s sake. Not that it’s necessary or expected if heroes to literally become someone else’s heart so they can survive instead, but I mean. It’s a sacrifice to be made, and Shigaraki is ambiguously witnessing it. At the very least, some part of him is seeing what’s happening. So I wonder if it’ll stir him up inside too a little.

But, the endgame is for Tenko to get what he needed back then. 

Idk how it’ll look with these new developments, it’s less clear now. But I think he will get that group effort of people trying to save him, everyone playing whatever part they are able to.

Anyway Shigaraki rant over sorry lol

Um this is more cursed imo because 1. He has to die, and 2. He’s literally using his own body to become Bakugo’s kokoro. Just, weird.

But I’m glad, honestly. It means there is way less likely of a chance, if there is any even left, for rage boner Deku. I can only hope it stays this way lol.

Hey guys, i know this is not a My hero Academia blog but with the new chapter it has taken over the entirety of my brain. So lots of spoiler warnings for those of you who care, or who are anime watchers these are my thoughts on 362.

I will be the first to admit, i am a bakugo lover. I could not belive he was gone. I read 362 over and over, and now i think i have an idea about the second users quirk and how our bakuboy is going to pull through. These are all just my opinions and conjecture so don't come after me. I just feel like the pieces all fell into place. First off we see bakugo with the OFA star in his eye right before he takes the hit

At first i thought this was either because he was going to become a vestige himself after his death (i had seen the spoilers) or because he was using the last of his embers of OFA to get off a big attack. However when we see his attack

It is no where near as powerful as i would have expected while using OFA, we saw him use it in hero's rising and even as injured as he is i think using the last of the spark would have given him more then this.

The last sentence in the chapter is jeanist saying "his heart..."

It feels like its expected that he will finish the sentence in the next chapter with something like "has stopped" especially because we see the damage it has taken, who could survive that right?

But lets say deku finds out about this on his way to the final battlefield, either by communicating through the vestige of all might or some kind of enhanced danger sense, stay with me here i promise it will get better. The same fear that lead him to unlock danger sense kicks in, he unlocks the seconds quirk. I think when we see the stars in bakugos eyes its because he’s sending All might's vestige to Bakugo with the seconds quirk: the ability's to regenerate his own heart.

Okay okay far stretch i know. But i feel like when you think about it it all firs together.

AFO starts panicking while fighting bakugo, why? Because he looks like the second user

What do AFO and shiggy want? Destruction

What can beat destruction? Regeneration on a larger scale, to create faster then you can destroy.

Back in 349 we got a couple hints about the seconds quirk

The reinforcements cant withstand 100 percent of OFA and neither can Midoriyas body, he would be injured again. But what could counter that? If he could do to himself what Eri did, heal his own body while dealing maximum damage. But he also warns it should be a last resort. This makes me believe that there is some kind of restraint on it, maybe it takes a lot of energy to do and you can only do it once in a certain amount of time. Or maybe it lowers the lifespan of those who use it, either way there's a great toll it takes and shouldn't be used lightly.

Something to note is that the second has a large facial scar. Why would someone with the power to regenerate have such a large scar? What if because of the limitations he chose to save someone else, to heal someone else and allowed himself to take the hit. Sounds familiar? I dont think its a coincidence he looks just like bakugo.

He also said it is not something that could be wielded the usual way, as he did. Maybe he cant use it the same way but maybe it can be shared? Through the vestiges and the power Of OFA and shared hearts? I’m not sure but it seems possible, also with how long he’s been gone i would not be surprised if Deku is finally getting close.

Its said over and over that Midoriya needs to "control his heart". With ochako completely out of the picture now and how bakugo has been acting i think its obvious it is going to revolve around them, kachan and deku, twin stars. They have both been absolutely destroying their bodies to save and to win.

I think he has to save his heart before he can control it, to save bakugo’s heart in this case literally. And because its to late for that i think he’s going to use the seconds quirk to regenerate the damage that has been done.

Well, I kind of was expecting something like that coming from Katsuki. I had a small smile on my face and I looked up slightly, soon catching sight of Eri. Her red eyes were looking at Deku, who was smiling brightly at her, and then she looked at me. I smiled at her, soon feeling my nerves fading away and wanting to make her smile too.

"We're gonna murder at U.A." Katsuki's manacing tone and his glare made a few people in the audience tremble, I didn't even have to look at him to see the expression he was making, "Murder 'em with our music!"

Jesus-! Katsuki, why?!

After our performance, everyone was helping with the cleaning, picking up the pieces of ice and taking them to Katsuki and Shoto, who were the ones in charge of melting them. As I picked up big chunks of ice in my basket, I saw Izuku with All Might, who looked at the greenette worried, I'm sure he was supposed to be scolding him for what happened earlier, but it didn't actually look like a scolding at all.

Well, that was until I saw Hound Dog showing up with Ectoplasm and he did scold Izuku, quite loudly might I add, I heard him pretty clearly, although it could've been because I was standing quite close to them.

But I couldn't really pay them that much attention because I saw Togata senpai walking closer with Eri next to him. He said hi to me while I walked back to dump the ice with Katsuki and we talked for a bit as we waited for Izuku. And I couldn't help but notice Eri's expression, despite being in complete silence.

She looks so happy.

I stared at Togata senpai again, and he was also staring at her, tears filling his blue eyes. We made eye contact and we smiled at each other, as we were probably remembering Sir too.

I noticed a green mess of curly hair walking closer, completely oblivious to us until Togata caught his attention. "Yo! Nice job back there!"

As soon as he said that, Eri looked up and started explaining excitedly the performance, making cute gestures and adorable noises, recreating to us what her reaction was. "And, and! (M/n)-san's voice sounded so good with the girl's voice! Like... it was like angels singing!" I chuckled softly, feeling embarrassed by a six-year-old kid's compliment. But it was so wholesome and genuine that it actually filled my chest with joy and my eyes with tears. Izuku seemed to be feeling just like I was feeling because he rubbed his eyes with his forearm.

"I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself, Eri-chan!" I nodded and I was about to say something else, but Mineta yelled at us for being lazy and not helping with the ice, so I immediately went back to cleaning, taking the ice chunks to Katsuki.
