taco time has been walking kinda funny since that night he was pukey a few weeks ago (april 26th for record-keeping) and now his messes are starting to get weird too just in the past couple days I think, at least definitely yesterday and today but I can’t remember if it happened before that. arin’s starting to get worried too so we’ll probably take him in after arin’s test to check if there’s anything we can do for him. (could be entirely benign, or could be that there’s nothing we can do, or could be somewhere in between. who knows, we’re not veterinarians.)

#animal illness #I'm not exactly like *excited* about the possibility of having to dump vet bills onto the cc #after clearing it and really hoping to keep it cleared #but like. vet bills are genuinely more important than ring repairs. #even if I feel a little petty and selfish about it. #we also don't know if it's actually gonna be as expensive as mochi anyway #since we have no idea what's wrong or even really if it's serious #arin and I talked about it a little later and it sounds like she and I are on the same page which is good #since they're her pets she gets the final say #if it is something serious we'll probably just settle for palliative care #that doesn't mean trying to treat mochi was the wrong decision (I think it was the right one for where all the parts were at) #it just means like. it's like gma vs gpa #gpa's decline was sudden and there was a huge scramble and everyone had a lot of feelings tied up in it #and gma's decline has been a lot slower and we're all just kinda 'yeah this is just a thing that's happening' including gma #y'know?
