Scenery in the Suikei-en garden of Keihanna Memorial Park in Seika-cho. There are large koi, small waterfalls and a large pond. You can stroll along this garden and enjoy flowers, turtles and water birds.
when i was in hospital i listened to relaxing spa music every night which always included waterfall sounds in order to try to sleep
waterfalls are the ultimate haven and heaven to me, it seems like such a surrealist phenomenon: the constant rush descending from a cascading cliff, but somehow us mortals have the pleasure of experiencing them.
It's bold to tell a story that didn't end the way everyone wanted it, and didn't even end in a way it had to, but still did, and the characters as well as the audience need to come to terms with something that, for no good reason, just is.
Httyd3 is relatable for me because the why does not get sufficiently answered. Why does everything have to get harder for Hiccup`?
Why does 'growing up' mean that you choose a partner over friends?
Why are people not allowed to be dependent on their loved ones just because they have different goals in life, and romance and reproduction somehow rank higher in the order of relationships than friendship, family, kinship?
Why does 'peace' sometimes mean loneliness and separation?
What if peace is a limited goods that can only be reached to a degree? Never full? Not in this life?
It's so hard and it can tear you apart. I find that keeping busy helps a little. Other than that, I'm still battling acceptance.
I rewatched Httyd3 today, and I'll keep taking comfort in this movie. It really helps to quote Astrid's speech to myself, and to sing the lyrics of The Hidden World, and to boom the bass of With Love Comes A Great Waterfall until my ears ring, and to just... keep my heart like Hiccup's, somehow - open for love.
I made this sculpture with monster clay, and then they were cast using Perfect Cast/Plaster the 'water' droplets are UVresin. I actually got the idea when I saw a kit for faux mossy stone kit at a thrift store. XD
I am going to be selling them on Etsy

Waterfall, the most calming location in Undertale. This is a animation that I made for a video. With audio made from a friend of mine!
I was meant to upload this on Tumblr awhile ago but I never got around to doing so until now.
( Synopsis ) Sova will protect that proclamation no matter what it takes.
( Characters ) Sova and his family

( Word Count ) 0.4k words // EDITED!
There was a specific time every night when Sova and his babushka would sneak outside to witness a spectacle that has been admired by the world for millennia.
Sova remembers when he was younger, his shoulders would ache from all the training he has done from sunrise to sunset, but that wouldn't affect his decision about going outside with his babushka.
He would dress in warm clothing and hide under the blankets in case his relatives would check up on him. His fur cap and bag would be hidden somewhere in his room so that when she gives the signal, he can immediately grab them and they both would go out the door as fast as they can.
Knock, Knock. Knock Knock, Knock.
Knock Knock.
When Sova would hear the pattern, he would grab his belongings along with the bow he got attached to rather quickly, and the two would be off on their small little journey.
(Little does he know that his babushka did this with his mother when she was younger, so technically everyone in the household knows that they're sneaking out. Only Sova remains unaware.)
The two would admire the silken greens to blues dancing freely in the cold wind, talking about what happened today.
This was the age he naively claimed he could become the best archer in the world, as very few practiced the arts and used them on the battlefield.
This was also the age when he was aware that one day, he would serve in the military.
Nonetheless, these two beliefs pushed him to work harder.
"Oh? How will I know you're making it home safely, then?"
"I'll become strong enough that wherever I am, I can shoot an arrow to my room to signal I'm making it back home." Sova proudly proclaimed with such seriousness, it made his grandmother laugh.
"I'll keep those words in mind. Just remember, no matter how much you have changed, I will be waiting for you to come home to us."
Sova's mind never comprehended the full sentiment of his babushka that night.
But as now Sova stands together with the people he can call allies in front of their enemies, he will come back home even if he won't be able to shoot an arrow into his room.
He is Sova, a grown man with different morals and a different perspective of the world.
But he will forever be loyal to his babushka and his family.
He will come home one evening more to watch the Northern Lights. No matter what it takes.
