Hey
I know I haven't been really active with the drawings, buuut I actually happen to have some time, so. Yeah.
More Warriors oc stuff I guess
StormCrystal & CinnamonCloud
(trigger warning: implied abuse & grooming, kitnapping, kit deaths)
Tumblr media
CinnamonCloud is LeafClan's deputy under StormCrystal's leadership. The strange thing is, that she earned this position this young, despite never mentoring an apprentice... Of course, everything has a reason.
StormCrystal noticed CinnamonPaw's ambition and qualities, right when she started her training. Young CinnamonPaw was much stronger, and more violent than her sister, ApplePaw. And then StormCrystal saw this potential... After CinnamonPaw's mentor died in a tragic accident with some foxes, he took the apprentice under his wing himself.
StormCrystal's training wasn't nice, or easy. He usually just watched from afar, expecting CinnamonPaw to figure out all the moves herself, sometimes correcting her, a bit harshly. He said that if someone needs help, that is a weakness; And there leader's very own apprentice should never show weakness. So eventually, CinnamonPaw learned how to solve things by herself, because that was the only time when StormCrystal ever praised her.
Towards the end of her training, StormCrystal had a strange request for CinnamonPaw; Stealing a litter from their rival clan, SunClan. LeafClan has been through a harsh Frosty Quarter, and committing such crimes was never too much for them. He promised her that if she does it, he will make her a warrior the next day, and make her deputy as soon as possible. Who would turn down such an offer?
So CinnamonPaw took her best friend with her; That was BluePaw, the leader's nephew, who was also promised a promotion for the mission. They sneaked in SunClan's camp, and took three kits away, right from the side of their mother's belly. The trip back to LeafClan, however, was not so uneventful; They accidentally tripped over another queen while leaving the nursery, and were chased through the camp, the territory, until they finally reached the forest, where LeafClan's territory began...
But in the meantime, there was a storm roaring through the clans' territories, which sparked a huge fire between SunClan and LeafClan. CinnamonPaw, terrified of StormCrystal's disapproval, urged BluePaw to still try and race to their own territory, with the three kits hanging from their muzzles. But after almost falling into the flames themselves, they had no choice but to leave the stolen kits, and save their own tails.
Back in LeafClan, StormCrystal was burning with rage, threatening the two apprentices with exiling them. Still, they could sleep in their own dens for now. And in the morning, LeafClan welcomed BlueTail and CinnamonCloud as brand new warriors.
While in SunClan, only one of the three kits managed to survive the fire, though with permanent injuries... And that was AshKit.

World-building in Building Thunder #1 - The Wondrous World of Weaving Galepaw, WindClan’s medicine apprentice, collects sorrel and lavender in a small basket harness.
The cats in Stars Above can weave! Woven cases are used to transport all sorts of goods, typically prey or herbs. These cases are crafted out of grass, reeds, cattail leaves, vines, brambles, and honeysuckle - materials are dried before any actual weaving takes place. Weaving is a time-consuming but important task for all four Clans.
Twine - Simple twine is crafted from willowbark, woven grass, vines, or blackberry brambles. It’s used to tie together other materials.
Healer’s Rope - Sturdy string crafted from stinging nettle fibers. - Used to make splints for limbs, tie herb bundles, and hang up herbs to dry.
Baskets - The hardest project a weaver can undertake, baskets are tricky to get right and take a long time to put together. Due to this, a Clan typically has only 2-3 baskets at a time - when not in use, they’re stored in a dry, sheltered spot within camp. - Always have some sort of handle and cover! The handle is a sturdy reed that can be replaced when worn out. The cover is a woven mat that’s secured by being slipped over a piece of bone, stick, etc tied into the basket wall. - Held in the mouth via the handle. - Sometimes decorated with flowers or colorful shells!
Pouches - Smaller version of a basket; these are easier to make and transport, but hold less. A Clan always has more pouches than baskets. - Held in the mouth with a twine handle or slipped onto a basket harness.
Basket Harnesses - Kittycat backpacks! - Small woven baskets attached to a woven harness that slips over the body. Used to transport plants, prey, and other small objects like rocks or shells. - The size of the basket varies depending on its intended use. In the featured art, Galepaw has a small basket intended for carrying small amounts of herbs. - Most often utilized by medicine cats when carrying herbs to another Clan for trading or when gathering large amounts at once. Also frequently used by warriors on fruitful hunting patrols or for gathering construction materials.
Fish Harnesses - Unique to RiverClan! Used to carry large fish from the river back to camp. - First, a flat surface is constructed out of sturdy sticks and tied together with thick twine. This is then tied to two separate harnesses worn by two different cats. These cats walk in tandem, supporting the fish between them.  - Wearing a fish harness is awkward due to the weight distribution and teamwork required. Apprentices practice by carrying around rocks and smaller prey items. - RiverClan usually has 4-5 of these at any given time; warriors are careful not to break them, but accidents happen. New fish harnesses are usually crafted in late greenleaf, in preparation for the salmon run, and may be repurposed into basket harnesses for the following leafbare.

Okay what if... and hear me out on this... there was a Death-Note-inspired Warriors AU... where the Stick was a deadly weapon?
Like if a cat, with another cat's name and face in mind, marked the Stick, the cat they envisioned would die?
That has some serious evil Jayfeather potential. Like he could get close enough to his victims to walk in their dreams, but in reality he's just trying to learn what they look like.

LOTUSCLAN'S BANE | Act I Scene I
Prev | Next
“You disgust me.”
The warrior felt a surge of power run through his claws as he hissed, the feeling traveling up his legs and into his chest, down back into the weight of his forepaws. With one movement of his powerful arm, he pinned a young house cat by the head and the chest, sinking his weight deep into the mud.
The left side of the young house cat's body was sunken into the grime, barely able to breathe out from one nostril, struggling to free himself under the heft of the wild cat.
The only part of their body that the dark-furred house cat was freely able to move was their eye, open wide and rapidly shifting in panic, fruitlessly pleading for help from another house cat who cowered near.
“I haven’t asked much from you, have I, Wolfie?” The warrior lifted one of his paws slightly for the dark-furred house cat to hear his word. “Or you, Margot?” He turned his glare to the other house cat, her calico fur spiked in terror, trembling close to the earth. “Why must you defile the very code you wish to swear your lives to?”
The warrior watched the calico flinch and dart her eyes toward the rabbit that lay dead in the marsh, sloppily caught with bites in its back legs and the top of its spine.
From what the warrior could gain from a mere glance at the prey, it must have struggled for quite a bit of time in the grasp of two cats who had no prior knowledge of any sort of hunting technique. They were lucky. But not quite lucky enough, since they will not partake in its spoils.
“Answer me,” the warrior spat.
“We-we thought–” Margot quickly spoke up, paws fidgeting in the muck. “Uh. We just wanted to practice hunting…” She glanced at the warrior for a moment, then her ears flattened to the back of her head. “And we thought that… Since we’ll be warriors sometime soon, it’ll be–”
“You will never be warriors if you break the very code LotusClan sacrifices everything for,” The tom snapped, leaning his weight further into Wolfie’s skull, digging his unsheathed claws into the side of the young cat's face, submerging them further with every accentuation, raking out blood that trickled over his open eye.
“Taking prey from another clan’s territory is taking life from that clan," he continued. "Prey is not meant to be used as fodder for house cats who want to play pretend, then return to their twolegs before sunset. Where for you, there is no question as to where your meal comes from, and cats much needier than you will go hungry. This rabbit will feed warriors who have given their lives to the clan, who will fight and hunt to their dying breaths to protect their kin, who have fought and survived at the mercy of the wild. The sworn duty of the cats born and brought to this clan is to give and protect it. The concept of hardship must be foreign to you, as you have no sense of right or wrong!”
At that last point, the warrior swiped the housecat he had pinned into the air, tearing and releasing his claws from the skin, with blood and scum splashing and falling back to the ground. Free from captivity, The tom house cat stumbled to his paws, wobbling to the side of the molly. Pressing their fur up against each others’ shoulders, the two trembled before the monstrous warrior cat.
The warrior calmed, ceasing his hissing. The ends of the fur on the back of his neck still bristled, and his chilling, bright eyes sunk deeper into the house cats’ eyes than his claws had in the tom cat’s face.
“I said you could find yourselves joining LotusClan if you were to find a black cat with one green eye and a stump tail in the twolegplace.”
The two house cats glanced at each other—a quick gesture of disbelief and anxiety.
“Is this cat…” They mewed in unison.
“Real?” said Margot.
“Dangerous?” said Wolfie.
The warrior was not amused by this.
“Find the cat,” he growled. “And return with them to LotusClan.”
Right as he tilted his head in dismissal, Wolfie and Margot immediately scampered back to their twoleg homes, leaping atop the old stone walls behind them and disappearing on the other side.
Finally alone with the rabbit, the large tom began to make his way home as well, back to the marshes of LotusClan.
The warrior’s name was Redshade.
A name given to him by his mother Rosecloud; he was born as Redkit, pelt dark russet and white. Redkit was promised the glory of the clans at a young age, aching for the call of battle and the yowls of triumph over their enemies. Training as Redpaw under the mentorship of a noble leader, he learned the code of the clans, and he found that his sole purpose on the soil he walked upon was to defend LotusClan, even at the cost of his life.
Redshade padded deeper into the territory with the rabbit dangling in his jaws. The gaps in the shadows of the trees were wide, many blown over in timbers with their stumps piercing into the sky.
Moving at a somewhat swift pace, Redshade leaped up to walk along the fallen logs, avoiding getting his paws too wet as they could quickly sink into the soft undergrowth. It rained quite heavily the night before, as it near always had in recent times.
He was careful to be far enough outside of LotusClan territory to not be easily spotted by his clanmates, but not too far to be harassed by twolegs or other nosy house cats. While the constant rain could deafen his conversations, a clear and sunny day like today couldn’t do much to help his mission be kept secret. However, he could always rely on the noise of the rivers that swept through the territory, for they were a hidden blessing in the floods.
Passing through a heap of rocks along the edge of a river that spilled into a pond, he stalked between some large mossy boulders that were unearthed from the base, exposing dirt to the sky.
The warrior questioned if he could truly put his trust in those two adolescent house cats—he knew he couldn’t, but other options at this point were slim to none. He knew that this mission would go so much smoother if his clanmates never gave up on finding this cat.
To the rest of LotusClan, the one-eyed, stump-tailed black cat was as good as dead out in the twolegplace, but it kept Redshade up at night, convinced they were still out there, planning to return one day. But for as much as he wished he could, he couldn’t spend every waking hour of his life hunting this cat down.
There was a gust of wind that picked up suddenly as he reached the hollowed-out entrance of LotusClan camp, blowing his and the rabbit’s scents behind him. A chill went through his ribs, clenching his jaws tight on the prey. He breathed out, and the warrior marched forward into the hollow.

Longstar AU - Prologue
How could.. how could I have—
“Longtail,” Tigerclaw beckoned the tan tabby tom toward him, his amber eyes piercing his fur. “One of my closest friends.. you would come with me, of course.”
“I—“ Longtail murmured, flattening his large ears tight to his head. He stared back at the brown tabby, holding his amber gaze with his white green one. “No.”
“No?” Tigerclaw growled, “Fine. Live the rest of your sad life with this no-loyalty fox-hearts. You are one of them.”
“You're wrong, Tigerclaw,” Longtail hissed, his eyes narrowing. He sat down in the sand, curling his long tail round his paws calmly. “I will always be loyal to ThunderClan. We will always be loyal to each other. You are the no-loyalty fox-heart. Trying to kill your own leader,” Longtail rose to his paws once more, turning into the crowd. “Now run-along the mouse-heart you’ve shown to be.”
He took in a deep breath. It felt.. good, to say that. For a while, he'd been thinking it. Especially since he'd tried to drown another of their clan-mates. And, of course, his loyalty to ThunderClan was most important to him.
After a few moments, Tigerclaw skidded out of the camp. Longtail gazed up at the High Rock, Bluestar sitting atop of it, looking shaken and broken down. His ears flattened again, had Tigerclaw seriously gotten to their leader so much? And how would that effect them?
“I-I must,” Bluestar croaked out, her paws teetering a bit. “Name a new deputy. I-I could.. think of no other cat. The cat who saved us from our previous deputy,” Her blue eyes rested softly on Fireheart, who took a few pawsteps forward. “Fireheart will be the new deputy of ThunderClan.”
.. Fireheart? Longtail gazed at the orange tabby tom, whom dipped his head to his leader. I.. guess it’s fair. He did get Tigerclaw out of here, He took in a steady breathe. Maybe it would be good, even. He’s reasonable, annoyingly kind.
Whatever happened from here, he knew it would be better. ThunderClan was safer now, and he knew that his loyalty to his clan, and his family, would remain unwavering.

some things i’m currently working on + what they will entail, just in case you’re interested:
my first warriors fanfic piece is in progress. it’s called Oh Starclan, Not Again (much like oh god not again the hp fic) in which starclan makes firestar go back in time before he joins after his death cause they’re a bag of dicks and he’s the cat jesus. i think it’s fun and silly. it’s on AO3 under my pseud sagespirit currently.
my second idea was based on an idea moonkitti mentioned in one of their vids - they mentioned they wanted to see the next warriors series based far off in the future and that sounded dope so i made an au type thing based far in the warrior future. it includes a big old prophecy, a bunch of lesbian medicine cats, and prophecy cats including queens and full grown cats alongside two cute warrior apprentices who will fall in love (and not die or become toxic) so watch out for that. it will be very selfish
and ofc you can’t write warriors fanfic if you don’t rewrite the series so that’s my plan for my third project - it’ll be essentially the same plot as the og but i will change things that made me mad and more selfish choices, such as:
lionblaze is no longer boring and is now the himboist of himbos to ever himbo
hollyleaf is gay (probably for cinder)
names that i think are dumb will be changed (mostly nostalgia-fueled, sorry)
bramble will not be an abusive piece of shit and will actually be a dope husband and father
he will also die/retire earlier cause i want him to
firestar doesn’t have a thing for spottedleaf and loves his wife sandstorm and only his wife sandstorm
they also have more kits than squirrel and leaf cause i think fire would love being a dad
jay is slightly less of a little shit - still sarcastic but his heart is less frozen and his bitterness comes from his love and fear of losing those he loves
when they change the code they will also change the whole med cats not having mates/kits thing cause it’s dumb
starclan ISNT a huge bag of dicks
more death/less useless background characters
useless background characters get personalities
women aren’t vilified for no reason other than for the hatred of women
and more to be determined - those are just what i know so far i want to change
so yeah hope that excites anyone at all and if it doesn’t too bad i’m still going to keep writing it. if it does excite you and you have more ideas feel free to let me know and i just might include them!!

@warrior-cats-rewritten I saw your zombie skyclan idea and thought to myself, hmm, that's an interesting AU, I should make a book cover for it.
And now here it is. Probably going to write a fanfic around your idea soon.

another installment in my (still untitled) warriors fic! :>
cw: referenced animal death (food)
“Kits, I’m back!”
“Mom!” Moon, Dawn, and Dusk squeaked in unison, tripping over their paws as they raced over to meet the ginger-spotted she-cat. Cherry’s eyes glowed like little amber suns, radiating warmth as she reached down to greet her kittens, purring.
“You were gone for sooooo long,” Dusk complained, dropping his entire weight on Cherry. She gave him a few teasing licks on the forehead before gently pushing him away. Dusk flopped over, rolling on the ground dramatically until his belly was facing away from Cherry.
“Where did you go?” Dawn asked, stepping between Dusk and Cherry. Popping his head over his shoulder, Dusk glared at Dawn. She puffed her fur out in rebellion.
“We’re hungry!” Moon whined, bouncing impatiently on their paws.
“Hush, now, little kittens,” Cherry soothed. “I had to go out and get some food.”
“Oh. Right.”
“Do you all think you’re big enough to finally try solid food?” Cherry asked.
“Yes!”
“I don’t know,” Cherry purred. “You all still seem pretty small to me.”
“We’re not small!”
“Oh, is that so?”
“Yeah! You’re just big.”
“Big Mom, big Mom!”
“Well, then,” Cherry mewed, eyes twinkling, “If you’re sure.”
Gesturing for her kits to follow her, Cherry stepped through the entrance to her den. Dawn scrambled after her, Dusk hot on her tail, with Moon bringing up the rear.
Moon’s leaf-green eyes reflexively scrunched shut as they stepped into the dappled sunlight. Birdsong filled the air as the sunlight warmed Moon’s fur, a pleasant warmth sinking into their skin. Soft grass shining with morning dew tickled their paws and legs, waving slightly in the light breeze. As the wind tugged gently at their fur, Moon puffed out their pelt to savor the sun’s heat.
Cherry wrapped her tail over her forepaws as she settled down in the shade beneath a brightly colored tree, multicolored leaves dancing in the air as they fell from its branches. Dawn and Dusk bounded over to her, noses sticking awkwardly in the air as they tried to pick up on the fresh-kill scent. Moon gave their den one last glance before running forward to meet their mother and littermates.
Eyes sparkling with pride, Cherry pulled a small orange-and-white shape from a hole in the tree Moon hadn’t noticed before. Moon’s whiskers twitched as Cherry dropped it, eyes widening as they picked up on the warm, sweet scent radiating off the shape. Moon leaned forward, jaw opening as their mouth watered, utterly entranced as everything became about the delicious smelling shape.
“What is that?” Dawn breathed.
“It’s a squirrel,” Cherry purred, voice bubbling with humor.
“Oh, oh! I’ve seen one of those before!” Dusk announced. “But it was gray instead of orange, and it was chewing on an acorn. It ran away before I could show anybody.”
Moon extended their muzzle to take a better sniff of the limp squirrel, gulping up the sweet-smelling air.
“Go ahead,” Cherry nodded. “Try it.”
Dawn gave the squirrel one last sniff before taking a bite. Her amber eyes lit up instantly, and she quickly swallowed her mouthful.
“This is great!” she purred.
Dusk watched with a bit more uncertainty as Dawn took another mouthful of squirrel. Looking up to their mother for approval, Moon saw Cherry nod encouragingly. Taking a deep breath, Moon joined their sister and took a bite.
Warmth and flavor exploded on Moon’s tongue. It was the first thing they had ever eaten, besides milk – and the one beetle Dawn had “caught” - and it was new, and exciting, and good.
“Dusk, you have to try this!”
Dusk’s whiskers twitched. He shifted on his paws nervously before taking a small, hesitant bite.
“Oh, wow,” he breathed.
Cherry watched as her kits devoured the rest of the squirrel. Moon stepped back, realizing what they had done.
“We didn’t leave any for you!”
“Don’t worry,” Cherry mewed. “I ate earlier, when I was hunting.”
“I think I ate too much,” Dawn huffed, flopping dramatically to her side. “Now my belly feels all weird!”
“You should’ve saved more for me!” Dusk complained, swatting at Dawn’s ears.
“Just because you were being a scaredy-mouse-”
“Hush. You both got enough to eat.”
“Yeah...”
“Okay...”
“Now, c’mon,” Cherry mewed, stretching as she rose to her paws, “Back to the den so I can bathe you and get some rest.”
“But I’m not -” Dawn yawned, “- tired!
“Yeah, we just...” Moon’s eyes dropped for a second, “Just, got out... here...”
“Come on,” Cherry purred, nudging her kits with her nose. “Back to the den we go.”

World-building in Building Thunder #3 - Dirty Battle Tactics Brackenbird of ThunderClan displays a blade crafted from the sharpened antler tine of a red deer.
A clean fight involves two cats facing off, just claws and teeth and whatever training they can remember; this is the battle honored by lake Clan culture. Unfortunately, it is not always respected. The tactics listed below are considered generally dirty, but regarded differently between individuals - they’re only considered during times of war or unusual hostility between Clans.
Thornpelt Armor - Practice of tying thorns (traditionally blackthorn) into a long-haired cat’s pelt, for the purpose of damaging attackers. - Can be effective, but may pose a threat to the wearer if done improperly.
Diseased Claws - Act of dousing the forepaws in dirty water or rotten prey before a battle, the idea being that any injuries dealt are more likely to get infected.
Lack of Mercy - Refusing to let an enemy warrior flee and continuing the battle until they’re physically unable to fight back.  - Considered by some to be a breach of the Warrior Code, given that this style of fighting is much more likely to result in fatal casualties.
Dog-piling - Act of many warriors facing down one opponent and overwhelming them with sheer numbers; can also refer to two or more warriors fighting an apprentice at the same time. - Considered unfair to the enemy and unnecessarily violent.
Weaponry - Bringing any sort of prepared weapon to a fight is considered both dishonorably cruel and a bit cowardly (what sort of warrior needs a sharp stick to win their battles?) - Prepared weaponry refers to anything crafted by a cat - sharpened sticks, antler tines, rocks, shells, etc. - Improvised weaponry (for example, a stick used in the middle of a fight and then discarded) exists in a gray area. Cats don’t like it, but you might get away with it if you have the right excuse.
