How To Soften Honey
My hunny 😘 🍯 has gone solid 😁 🤪
I should buy a smaller one and this is lasting longer, it's 48 oz. I would have more but I have been using it on my berries 🍓 🫐

How does the shape of taste have color?
Beth: [age 14] "Have you ever noticed that when you're drinking water, warm water feels round and cold water feels pointy?"
Me: "What?"
Mom: "Hmmmm."
Luke: [age 17] "No way. It's totally the other way around."
Beth: "Shut up, you're color blind."
Mom: "How does the shape of taste have color?!"
Me: "What?!?"
Beth: "No, seriously, if you think about the temperature of liquid while you're drinking it, warm water is kind of soft and round like a ball or something, and cold water is pointy with edges like a cube."
Me: "Not pointy like a stick, then."
Beth: "No, it's more about an overall three-dimensional shape."
Luke: "It's totally the opposite."
Mom: "I sort of see what Beth means, in a very kind of artistic way. How is it the opposite?"
Luke: "You're telling me that if you have boiling water and you drink it, it's going to feel soft and round? No way. It's gonna hurt like something pointy."
Mom: "Boiling water? Who said anything about boiling water?"
Me: "She said warm water. Drinkably warm water."
Mom: [to Luke] "Don't do that. Don't take what someone said to some ridiculous extreme they never said, then argue against that as if that's what they mean."
Me: "Definitely don't be that guy."
Luke: [snarky] "Oh, fine, now you want to put more details around it to prove me wrong."
Beth: "I literally talked about drinking warm water. That's it. Not boiling water."
Me: "If you tried to drink extremely cold water, it really might be pointy, because it would be ice."
Mom: "Maybe that's part of the sensation you're talking about? Somehow the closer the liquid is to freezing, the harder it actually feels?"
Me: "There's actually a lot of research into the 'mouthfeel' of food."
Luke: "OK, but what color is the pointiness?"
Beth: "It's water. It should be clear."
Me: "But it's artistic, so the color of the pointiness is obviously… very loud."

The Surprising Benefits of Drinking Warm Water
Tumblr media
Warm water stimulates stomach digestive enzymes, improving digestion. Warm water breaks down meals, improving nutrient absorption. It can prevent bloating and indigestion. Warm water helps regulate bowel movements, minimizing constipation. Warm water relaxes intestinal muscles, making evacuation easier and more constant. If you frequently have digestive issues, drinking warm water daily can help.
Warm water boosts body circulation. Drinking warm water dilates blood vessels, increasing blood flow. This improved circulation delivers nutrients to organs and tissues and removes waste and contaminants. Since blood circulation improves, warm water may make you feel better.
