I’m on a Good Omens kick because of the season 2 intro dropping (I saw a sneak peek on the official Good Omens Prime Instagram), so here’s some headcanons:
I’ve posted about this one before, but Beelzebub definitely has arachnophobia, being a fly demon.
Additionally, they also despise Venus fly traps, and refuse to go within ten feet of one. Crowley has three in his flat for this exact reason.
Crowley has been to EVERY Queen concert. He never bought a ticket even once, but he always managed to get the best seat at the venue (with the help of a little demonic miracle or two).
Before Almostageddon, Crowley would leave various things behind at the bookshop—neckties, tapes from the Bentley, even his sunglasses one time—on “accident” just so he has an excuse to go back.
(He doesn’t need an excuse anymore, but he still does this sometimes.)
He also listens to “Death on Two Legs (Dedicated To…)” whenever he’s feeling especially resentful toward Heaven and/or Hell.
Aziraphale’s favorite hot cocoa recipe is: one and a half cups of milk, four ounces of dark chocolate, half a teaspoon of vanilla, half a teaspoon of cinnamon, a quarter teaspoon of nutmeg, whipped cream, and six marshmallows exactly. Sometimes a spoonful of honey if he wants it to be sweeter.
War can sprint, climb, and fight in heels no matter how tall they are.
When Newt proposed to Anathema, he was so nervous he almost dropped the ring twice.
Pollution has never been misgendered once because besides the fact that they tend to go unnoticed, they exude such a strong sense of “weird supernatural entity” that most people have trouble trying to figure out if they’re even human, much less what’s in their pants.
Gabriel and Beelzebub would sometimes spy on Aziraphale and Crowley together, doing various human things (poorly) to avoid detection. During one of these surveillance meetings near a café, Beelzebub forced Gabriel to at least pretend to consume something so he didn’t appear out of place. He reluctantly bought a black coffee, took one sip, and immediately gagged. Beelzebub couldn’t stop laughing for five minutes straight. (They totally gave away the game, but it was worth it to tease Gabriel.)

You know I kinda love how the them sort of connect with the four horseman, with war telling pepper to "go home and play with her dolls" and was focused on speaking to Adam, Brian and Wensleydale, while pepper is very big on feminism and is against such stereotypes. Then there is Brian and pollution where of course Brian is known as the grimy one in the group and pollution tends to make a mess everywhere he went like with his motorcycle spilling oil as he rode so I believe there may be a connection there, then there is famine and Wensleydale, and I notice that Wensleydale does usually talk about having an appetite for home like when Anathema offered them sandwiches and he said he had a nutritious lunch at home for him. Then lastly there is death and Adam, bad while Adam never really made death disappear like the others there is a sort of connection? I think, well in the show it is seen that Adam is not a child of heaven nor hell, and one of the lines that death said when the four horsemen were in the communications centre, someone asked death "who the hell are you?" And death responded with "I AM NEITHER OF HELL NOR HEAVEN" which is again like how Adam isn't a child of hell or heaven but human. So yeah those are some connections I came up with for the them and the four horsemen

Thinking about how Adam Young made War, Famine, and Pollution vulnerable by saying they’re not real, that they’re just like nightmares. Maybe that wasn’t true before he said it.
Thinking about how there’s a pattern of treating these things as powerful forces outside our control (gods, horsemen, unavoidable outcomes of natural laws). But then we figure out what we’re doing to make them happen, and that gives us the ability to modify them. Calling them human-made makes them so.

Some old art of Pestilence Copia I made for my crossover with Good Omens/Doctor Who
He is essentially the "moral" one in the immoral group (apart from Death, but even he doesn't think too much about their fate)
Pollution resents him for abandoning them, but at the same time revels in their own success and strives to be better than he ever was.
He hides his identity from the Clergy and wants to forget about his past, but things happened that dragged him back to the spotlight.

This post has probably been made before, but I just finished s1ep5 of Good Omens and I'm obsessed with the parallels between Adam's friend group and the four horsemen, especially in the final hours. Pepper and War both wearing red jackets. Wensleydale's jacket being paler than the others', like Pollution's white clothes. Brian and Adam, not quite on equal footing, with Adam leading the way similarly to the way Death does. Death doesn't ask opinions, and by episode 5, neither does Adam.
Just...UGH I love symbolism and parallels and this show is chock full of them

After that dramatic moment where the four horsemen get together in the coffee shop, do you recon they all stuck around for their tea
What a beautiful bit of imagery

Destiny Calls His Children
Tumblr media
If you haven't heard me banging on about this before... Congratulations. 😅
But, the spin off comic series, Destiny a Chronicle of Deaths Foretold, focuses on John Ryder, the Horseman Pestilence. Before he is born to a mortal mother and father, Destiny informs his mother she will bare 'his' son. And upon reaching adulthood and finding his way through the Garden of Forking Ways, John is granted his new vocation as Pestilence by Destiny. The end of the comic gives a subtle indication the same process has happened for the other horsemen. And I've been fascinated by this concept ever since. That the four horsemen are know as the 'Children of Destiny'. It's all left as vague as many references to the Endless in the Sandman Universe. If these children actually are in a sense Destiny's, or he just claims them as under his dominion... Who knows. But combined with Good Omens, oh do I have headcannons galore!
(Apparently Pestilence's sigil is a poisoned bow. In the comics, his horse is called Paladin and is pure white. So the horses represent Famine (black) , War (red) , Pestilence (white) and Pollution (pale green) : The scales, The Sword, The Bow and the Crown.)

Pollution: Don't freak out, come on!
War: Adam, it's okay!
Pollution: A, B, C, D, E, F, G-
Famine: Are you singing to him?! People get arrested for this, Chalky!
Pollution: Stop freaking out! H, I, J, K, L M N O P-
Famine: *runs around checking all the doors* Do all the doors lock?!
War, picking up a trashcan: I'M BREAKING THE WINDOW!

Day 21: Favourite Horseman of the Apocalypse
This is DIFFICULT If I think in a completely non-rational way and get carried away by my tendency to feel aesthetic attraction, it is War. I mean, I saw them the first time and I said "I may be all for peace but oh gods…"
Tumblr media
And if I think rationally, it's Death. The character is very intriguing, gives a lot of food for thought and theorizing, has some pretty good dialogue… I love them
