So...last week I was really bored and decided to play a bit with the custom demo and this came up, I had never designed a Waja before and always thought I would never be able to. All the customs I created to this day were designed by other players, to actually feel comfortable enough to create a design that I created myself means a lot to me, as I tend to hate everything I do in life, so yes, as much as this is meaningless to others, for me it is a big step into accepting that I also can do nice things, contrary to what my negative thoughts keep telling me!

I already got the tokens but I am missing lots of dyes and a few DNAs, hoping to finish the pair in a few months! Also...this pair need a name, I have no idea of what to call them. >.<

pet site prank review

It's that time of the year, April Fool's Day! Some folks hate it, some love it, some don't give a rat's behind, and that's all okay!

I felt like reviewing the April Fool's pranks for my favorite virtual pet websites today. This is just for fun - don't take it personally if you disagree!

Chicken Smoothie

Prank: No real prank/events, but a few neat (alternative design?) pets Verdict: 👍- Commemorates the day without being intrusive or confusing. This kept things from getting overwhelming with the Easter event still running

Flight Rising

Prank: As is usual, Marva's silly surprise items and gravel exchange, funny flight names/icons Verdict: 👍- FR is great because you can opt out of April Fool's in account settings (if you don't like the flight jokes, for example). So, this is harmless, gives free stuff and the gravel exchange is very silly

GPXPlus

Prank: Changing the egg clicking interface to the adult Pokemon clicking interface, with silly flavor text Verdict: 🫳 - Meh-rating. Funny, may be a little obnoxious if you tend to reflexively slow down clicking for berries. Repeat prank from the last few years. Not very intrusive, though!

Neopets

Prank: Large popups on almost every beta page you load that you have to click out of. There are supposedly gifts to be granted eventually, but this is kind of unclear to the user. NPC dialogue, but not much direction Verdict: 👎- Not a fan of this one, it's a little too intrusive, so it makes it harder to use the site. It'd be more fun if it was slightly less intrusive and clearer that it grants rewards

Wajas

Prank: Pure White Wallpaper item (when equipped, looks exactly the same as the default white backdrop all wajas have) Verdict: - 👍Harmless and silly. I don't know if this will change after a set amount of time like with the Marva items on Flight Rising but it made me laugh!

colors were eyeballed off a phone screen so the colors are somewhat off-model, but I’m actually really happy with how they turned out! also I was so close to getting the stripes lined up on the body too before being foiled by line markings not looking as nice in yellow as green but I still think they ended up with a fun, upbeat design! and no i am absolutely not calculating how expensive making these would be... :’)
