Kirbtober Day 7: Headcannon

For context, this headcannon may be confirmed, but I don't know for sure. In short, Waddle Doos are not born in the natural sense rather a strike from Kracko a number of times allows Waddle dees to absorb that energy, transforming into a new state of being. I came up with this on a whim, when I noticed how 'odd' these guys are, especially in the cartoon series. Like, from what I remember, there was only one Waddle doo leading the entire group through a psychic link and capable of speaking a foreign language yet he never displays any psychic abilities, using a sword. Also, these guys don't have mouths yet still eat because they absorb food through the area of flesh, where a mouth would be. So, could the same be said for certain powers? Now, I'm not saying that they have the exact copy abillities as Kirby because once they alter their form, they can't go back. Anyways, I'm just rambling and this could be totally wrong.

Journey to Dorito Body pt 9

3/3/24

(I'm adding the date to these now cuz Tumblr doesn't and my memory's shit so I dont remember when I did the last one)

I took a rest day (I think it was only one) and I planning on taking the weekend off cuz it da weekend. That's for relaxing. But I stricken with anxiety and so I went to workout to make the voices in my head stupid up so maybe I can sleep.

And I gotta say...it worked. I'm still anxious about the thing but now I'm physically too tired to care. How am I supposed to give a single fuck about your concerns, Brain, when my muscles are doing the ow? Checkmate, IDIOT!

Anyway the workout itself was a bit disappointing. I didn't go down in weight (for I refuse) but I didn't do as much or go as long. I'm doing that thing...pacing myself, I think it's called.

Other than that the only thing of note is that I'm trying more leg workouts to continue my trail run of "Maybe exercise will make my joints suck less ass" and I tried active stretching today (stretching while actively holding yourself up) and turns out--and this is wild, hold on to your butts--stretching joints that are naturally too loose...makes them looser!

I know fucking wild idea! Wish I had thought that BEFORE I did it so I wouldn't have to deal with my knees buckling left right and center during my post gym walk. Bout half way thru I just started stilting it (aka walking with my knees mostly locked and just waddling like a penguin).

Muscle check!

Yeah they're still there and smol but baby steps will climb a mountain and baby steps will get me the Dortio bode I deserve!

the name of the fic is Idée Fixe, so that'd make her other nickname IF darling... something tells me that cringefail darling is going to stick more. seeing the acronym IF makes me think of fire emblem fates. cringefail just has a certain power to it. it shows that this girl just waddling through life somehow ends up with the leader of the phantom troupe wrapped around her finger.

or, to be more accurate, handcuffed to her wrist perhaps.
