To that person who was asking once how was the vampire-werewolf relationship going in our vtm campaign: awful.

His life was threatened by the local silver fang, then one of their friends (the silver fang's daughter, of all people, who we thought was a kinfolk until this very session) stepped in and managed to set things as a challenge in a couple of days. They went for a tiny trip to try and get some advantage, get either contacts or get stronger. Then found an old ass werewolf ghost who accepted to take him under her wing, but such training will take months. He'll stay in the island with one of their friends (another one, a brujah who is a friend of Mina's since campaign 1) to bring him food, while Mina will probably go back to their city and wait.

It's all the more hurtful when I remember that, out of the nearly 130 years that they've been alive, they only could be together for 10-12.

They deserve a happy ending 🥺

Had first couple of session 0/character introductions for VtM yesterday:

someone's sire fell of a ledge while creepily stalking them before turning them

which led to a Choice phone call to the police where he said: “there’s someone trying to break into my house, he looks like Billy Idol i think”

that character then got violently turned, went on a rampage and killed his boss

he may have also already broken the Masquerade - to be determined

meanwhile my character had a buddy-heist comedy with her sire before she got turned in which she realised:

her sire doesn't know the difference between stuff that runs on electricity and stuff that's computerised (he was convinced she would have to hack an electronic door)

a solid proportion of the city's Camarilla don't know how to plug in a computer let alone turn it on

she also didn't question any vampiric stuff that was happening because she assumed they were the mafia and also on drugs

when she did see vampire shit she assumed she was having some kind of hallucination or Episode so she ended up trading her humanity for a faster internet connection

All the people that decided to ascend Astarion would really love vampire the masquerade if they gave it a chance!

Thin blood that is no longer blood bonded to their extremely toreador sire diablerizing them and losing a lot of their humanity in the process feels very familiar.

It has a lot more horror than dnd but I swear it's very fun.

I will never recover from Eli last session having his heart actually broken (stabbed with his own ribs by a Tzimisce) while avenging his husband.

Then his husband walking him to the neighbourhood Tzimisce who fixed it and hardened it (or the ribs, who knows) along with dwindling humanity. I'm so normal about this
