You know when you hit that weird neurodivergent boredom/burnout but you've been lying to yourself about it for 3 days until it's 9pm on Wednesday and you wanna crawl the walls and change your life but it's 9pm on a Wednesday and there's no way to change your life at 9pm on a Wednesday and nor are you Spiderman so you can't actually climb your walls (tho suddenly an indoor climbing wall sounds great) (you have never been indoor rock climbing in your life) so you mostly just walk around your apartment in a circle making increasingly agitated sounds while opening the pantry over and over trying to figure out if food will fix you but of course it won't so back to the circling you go.

I love Yambureme so much, and I love the story! It got me thinking, how does 1-A react to their teacher being a Nomu now? How do they cope with losing their homeroom teacher and likely needing a replacement?

We'll see a bit more of their individual reactions in this next chapter but in general most of class 1-A use it as fuel to the fire of becoming heroes. It puts a much more dire spin on their education, especially immediately after during the sports fest. Everyone is fired up and serious and unfortunately find it difficult to enjoy themselves.

Midnight and All Might take on a joint homeroom position for the class in his absence. It really helps the class keep it together because Midnight can tell them stories about Shouta when he was young (even though he might be a little cross with her for it) and bolster their confidence that his self-built strength will keep him alive until he's brought home.

than/rudy/raha is an interesting concept to me becauseee. th.ancred deals a lot with words unspoken. his most meaningful relationships are hurt because he focuses on action to the point of miscommunication. and meanwhile, aside from what he keeps hidden very intentionally, raha says a lot more in terms of affection. because (from his perspective) his time is almost up, and he wants to leave those relationships with the other knowing how he feels without any doubt. y’know………

Oh I just realized something about BrambleSquirrel as a ship... I don't think I've seen a major focus on Squirrelflight's personal feelings focused on in the relationship when it comes to most ship art/fanfic I've seen? It's usually Brambleclaw having feelings about his family, his history, his relationship with Firestar, and his feelings of inadequacy and whatnot? But anything from Squirrel is usually comforting him or leaning heavily into her hiding stuff about the Three being Leafpool's.

Like, not that I care too much if anyone ships BrambleSquirrel, especially if they put their own twist on it away from canon. But between how canon treats their relationship, mostly by demonizing Squirrelflight, it feels icky to me in an odd way. Like she's an accessory to further another character. A lot of Squirrelflight ships feel similar, either by making her an accessory or going the opposite route and making another character an accessory to her, and I often see that with the WLW ships with her tbh unless it's like... Shrewpaw lives AUs or something like that?

does anyone have recommendations for a good style guide to make rpg rulebooks accessible for screen readers without losing a bunch of important readability aspects in the process? all the screen reader style guides i can find are more for webpages than rulebooks, which seem like good principles for web design, but, uh. in large part just come down to 'don't make anything that utilizes [major aspects of a rulebook's design, structure, and presentation]' instead of like. giving advice for how to denote these things in a way that screen readers can communicate well over plain text. i don't use one, so it's not intuitive for me to tell what's something most people consider a necessary sacrifice for parsing described content vs things that will just bog it down, as well as what structures work best to make shit less confusing in general.

i'm totally happy to chop things up and rearrange them for the screen reader-accessible versions! i just, well, need to know how to do that. again, if anyone has good resources, tips, or examples of a rulebook that was well-formatted for you, they are very much welcome!
