The freaking headache ffnet gave me with formatting before posting JEEZ. I almost gave up and just put it on AO3 solo lol.

But it's up.

I totally chickened out and cut the final scene because I'm not ready emotionally lmao. Also I just felt like other moments in this chapter that I really liked got overshadowed by the og ending I had.

But next time OH BOYyyyyy... 😬

What’s your favorite part in Villain: Redux (Part 1, Part 2, or Part 3)?

Part 3 still isn't quite done so I won't judge which I like best between the three arcs, but I'll share my favorites of each so far.

Part 1 - Chapter 5, Family Beach Day. I really enjoyed crafting the build up to the island bombing scene.

Part 2 - Chapter 11, The Unidentifiable was my favorite Chapter overall but especially for the final scene between Mojo and Joey. I just loved how Mojo's last monolgue turned out- I'm pretty proud of it.

Part 3 - remains to be seen, lol.

In your headcanon, what are the heights for the Powerpuff Girls as they grow older? (When they’re 5, they’re the same height, but they could have different heights of their own as they grow older)

I headcanon that since they were born as instant five-year-olds, that they grow at a faster rate than humans and also that as adults they'd be HUGE lol.

I dunno why lol but I just love the idea of them growing up to be giant titan like amazon BEASTS haha. Like 7 feet plus so they're still short enough to pass in human society I guess. But I guess because one of my favorite things about the Puffs is how their tiny appearances and "cute" looks are deceiving to what actual BRUTAL little beasts they are lol- I like the idea that they'd be underestimated to stay tiny and "cute" forever. Wouldn't it be great if they just grew up to be literal freaking giants?

This is pretty much the idea I use in Villain: Redux, too. In Part One, they're celebrating their believed 13th birthday (but really they're just 8) and Blossom is tallest already measuring at 5'9, Buttercup/Joey just an inch behind her at 5'8 and Bubbles is the late bloomer of the group and just about 5'1 at that age. Part Two, the trio is "16"(but actually 11) Buttercup/Joey is stunted at 5'8, Bubbles has hit her growth spurt and caught up to Blossom and they're both 5'11. Part Three, they are all about to be 18 (or 13 for reals lol) and Joey still 5'8- officially the shorty of the trio ha- and Bubbles and Blossom are pushing 6'1 now.

What happened to the Mayor in Villain: Redux (The short monocle-wearing, pickle loving mayor)?

I can't remember which chapter in the Redux it's mentioned tbh... I think I put it in 4? But our beloved Mayor Mayor eventually passed on, and Mayor Sara Bellum was elected by Townsville next.

Question for the original Villain story (the one from 2007-2008): Was Princess the only villain who stopped doing villainy? Because in the old story, she'd abandoned villainy when she (and the Powerpuff Girls) was 10, after a fight with the girls that left her back permanently scarred, having gained a fear of combat and only getting back into both things once Buttercup becomes a villain.

Yeah, Princess had a fear of combat following her accident in the OG Villain versus in the Redux, she just has to overcome her fear of heights/flying.

If you were a reader of the OG Villain, there was a bit of mythology about the type of parasitic demon Him actually is. This is just the Redux version of that. :p
