I would just like to say that Benchtrio has a LOT of untapped villain potential

We always always see them as the protagonists, so that typically makes them the hero. We know they're definitely a bit morally grey and very chaotic, but they always end up as the heroes when frankly, I think it's more likely that they'd actually become villains.

Ranboo-- Obviously the whole "no sides, only people" thing easily makes him very likely to turn "bad". There's so much more greyness with him than anyone else, especially in the SMP everything is way more complicated than just picking sides. Even if he knew he was more of the villain than a hero, I don't think he'd acknowledge it, he’s just protecting what he cares about.

However, I think he's the least likely to become a villain on his own. He's a good guy at heart, SMP and everywhere else, he's just willing to ignore it for the sake of the people he cares about. If he was gonna be a villain there would have to be some else as the reason he's doing it, whether they're involved as well or forcing his hand somehow.

Once he does it though, he will put his all into it. Whatever side, whatever reason, he follows through all the way and doesn't take any shortcuts. He's surprisingly ruthless and creative that's what makes him a good villain.

Tubbo-- Tubbo is perhaps less likely to turn villain than Ranboo, but he absolutely would given the right motivation. He's overall more mature than the other two and has more awareness of moral "right" and "wrong", which is why he doesn’t do whatever he wants on a whim, just what he can probably get away with. He’s a villain in a hero’s mind or a hero with villainous tendencies. Vigilantism I think is the best/most natural path for him OR he break out of societal expectations of goodness completely and gives no shits. When he turns villain, he knows exactly what he's doing to people.

The maturity and moral compass is what makes him the well established mom friend (because the rest will just wreak havoc on the world and themselves otherwise. Someone has to be the responsible one) and that's what would be used to push him over the edge. Similar to Ranboo, Tubbo would need someone else to either be in danger somehow or also doing the villain thing to make him switch sides. Once he does though, he finds that he likes it a lot more than he ever liked being good. And he's great at it. He has plans and contingencies and even nukes to fall back on if he must, but he knows he doesn't have to reveal his whole hand yet.

I also think that brain damage from explosions/experimenting could be a good turning point for him. Either pretty much right away, or slowly, (possibly trying to fix his body/mind) doing worse things until he realizes he's turned into the bad guy and doesn't want to stop. (Can you tell I love prosthetic/scarred/explosion damage Tubbo?)

Tommy-- Tommy is BY FAR the most likely to turn into a villain and it's frankly astounding he's always the hero, but like I said, Protagonist things. He would be a fun character to use for one of those stories where throughout the book we slowly realize the protag is actually also the villain. Anyway, it's ironically what makes him an entertaining protagonist that makes him the best and entertaining villain. He's bold and sunshiney and extremely chaotic no matter what he's doing, but most of all, he's ambitious. I don't watch a lot of Tommy streams and I admittedly wasn't as engaged with his lore (Im a Techno main) but when he wants something, he'll do anything to get it (primary example being the disc war and all related).

Tommy doesn't think before he acts. Even when he does, he doesn't think and in most cases doesn't care about how it will affect other people. When he wants it badly enough, that even applies to his friends, as we see sometimes in the SMP. He won't acknowledge that he's the villain, especially if his friends are doing it too, but he's the most likely to royally fuck things up for everyone else. TUMOASD Tommy is the best example of this--he runs around, shooting people and very easily crossing the line between good and bad whenever he feels like. He's incredibly likable, yes, but it doesn't matter to him whether he's a "good guy" or a "bad guy" and he'll always think he's in the right. Furthermore, Tommy isn't as mature as the other two and is willing to go to much more extreme lengths over more trivial things. I think it should also be noted that Tommy is spontaneous (tho we know that), gets incredibly jealous, almost to the point of possessiveness and more physical than other characters/people—as someone mentioned, he uses /hug when others do not, but that physical nature could go either way. oh also Tommy does so much evil laughing and he sounds like a deranged fucking jackal and when he’s standing over you with bloody fists or a baseball bat (I specifically think he would prefer blunt objects or small knives) he’s absolutely terrifying.

They would all be very different types of villains and when put together, very dangerous. The best part is that I think they would still work well together because they cover all the bases—planning and strategy and follow through, ruthlessness and actually getting your hands dirty and the willingness to hurt people.

What will almost inevitably happen, is that Tommy goes villain, and that's the trigger for the other two to follow. Or, it would be fun to see them meet and team up after already becoming villains. However, any way that it’s done, I just think we need more villain benchtrio.

51. How do you relieve stress?

The most helpful thing for me has always been finding somewhere quiet and just letting myself breathe for a while. Although, I rarely actually get to do it anymore. Not much quiet or time to relax in my life anymore....

59. What do you enjoy the most about hurting them?

I don't enjoy any of it. That's what no one seems to get. I'm not mean to Jack because I get a kick from it -- I'm mean to him because if he doesn't shape the hell up, he's gonna be screwed when he meets someone who does enjoy it. When he gets out into the real world, he's gonna have to work with people a lot less nice than I am, and if he keeps acting like he does, he'll get himself killed.

64. Do you regret it?

Sometimes I wish I could be nicer. I wish that the world was nicer, so none of this was necessary in the first place. But no, I don't. I'm doing what I wish someone had done for me a long time ago. He might not appreciate it now, but he'll be glad to have the experience in the long run.

i also genuinely don't understand the hatred for the tubbo hole? not only because no one has a problem with felps' square, but also because the two people who hate it the most have done so much worse AT SPAWN, while tubbo chose a bunch of chunks no one was using, asked permission for it and then went on with his plan? also he keeps telling people that everyone will be able to access it and take things from it, that is very much a thing he wants to do? there are bigger things to complain about on the islan

Even tho I have been wanting Purgatory DONE since, like, Day 2, I'd still kiss the admins hands for what they've done for q!Tubbo & q!Etoiles relationship.

Yes, Tubbo has always seen Etoiles for what he is, a strong, respectable guy, who is worth being the 'Hero of The Town', and he'd call Etoiles his rival, but it was mostly for a laugh. He was never serious about fighting him because he had much different priorities in Quesadilla Island.

Meanwhile, one of Etoiles first impressions of Tubbo was when Pierre was miserable because all his machines got nerfed for something Tubbo did, and Tubbo did not show an ounce of remorse (at least not in front of Pierre) so Etoiles just thought of Tubbo as a selfish, self-centered kid who didn't care who he screwed over as long as he could have his fun. Tubbo liked to run his mouth about being able to kick Etoiles ass, but it was all empty words. Etoiles never took their rivalry seriously, either, just as a "one day I'm gonna have to properly beat him so he understands we're not the same" and that's all.

BUT NOW. BUT NOW. THEY ACTUALLY. ACKNOWLEDGE EACH OTHER. Purgatory made it so they could see eye-to-eye for the first time. Actually see what kind of people they both are.

That Tubbo isn't only self-interested, but also a compassionate leader. That Etoiles isn't only a hero of the people, but also someone prideful to a fault. They can both see the best & worst in each other.

I'M VERY EXCITED FOR HOW THIS WILL AFFECT THEIR STORIES GOING FORWARD.

Fit lore has so much potential. I want him to be a villain so BAD.

I want to see him contemplate and angst over making a decision between his job and his friends SO BAD. I want him to spend days mulling over it. I want him to pick his job. I want him to regret it, but not go back on his decision.

I want him to be pinned as a traitor. I want him to be HATED.

I want tubbo, who always called him sus but trusted and relied on him more than he realised, to be DEVASTED. The ugly crying, denying reality devastated like when he was talking to forever that the eggs were missing.

I want pac to be MAD. Absolutely furious. I want him to go batshit crazy, finally letting loose and dead set on killing Fit as soon as he sees him again, betrayed and so, so hurt. I want Mike to be smug but also hurt to know it was really true. I want Phil to be distraught, questioning his own mind even more.

I want Fit to not be able to look at his friends anymore, not look as his son and call them his family anymore. I want Ramon to feel betrayed, but also still believe in him because that's his Dad over there, and he can see he's hurting, but he's not saying anything or explaining or helping himself and it's just going to get worse for him!-

I want Fit to betray his employer right at the last moment. I want him to choose his friends and make the right choice. I want it to be too late when he does, when everyone has already been hurt and the bond, the trust and the relationship that was once there is broken.

I want it so bad.

first art post of the new year!!! granted, i don't share my art here that much anyway, but– shhh.

hehehehhhooo,, here's something i've been working on for 'bout a month,, albeit not consecutively– took a few,, very very long breaks in between working on this,, but i managed to finish it in the end! am i satisfied with it? .......ehhhh? not completely, but if this took any longer, it might not have seen the light of day, so like. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

anyway,, made a little poster for my favorite fic, tommyinnit's services for villains, vigilantes, and various other vagabonds, by @scorpionoesit!!! it's really really good,,, and i've always wanted to make more art for it,, so i decided– poster! at least,, that's what it's mean to resemble,,, dkdmkdmdkd.

i will freely admit,, i'm... not the biggest fan of the fan-made logo i tried to design for it,, feels a bit boring, and could definitely have used a bit more pizazz, something to make feel more like the fic itself(what does that mean? you figure that out),,,, but– again, steam was running low,, dkdnksjs. graphic design is my passion. i do also have other complaints, but i'm afraid i already punched my one-use self-critique card,, oh well,,, dkdnkxjdkd.

regardless,, even with the flaws only i can really see,, this still turned out pretty okay!! hope you enjoy it, mx. scorpio and mx. alibi!!! and i hope everyone else has a wonderful new year!!!!
