In this essay, I will describe just how mind blowing this scene is. It very much may be the best scene to come out of Twilight. I mean we all know when it came to the soundtracks Twilight was amazing in that very field and yk what I know ppl talk sh*t on Twilight but i’m fond of it in the way of its take vampires but like f**k the creator of the series. Anyways this scene very much is amazing from them putting Mr.Yorkster’s song in there basically symbolizing Victoria’s whole revenge route, in the way that she can do no wrong. In her own right she’s fighting for someone who was dear to her.The technical aspect of this scene is what lead me to this rant from the sequence being slowed down, the aerial viewpoint, omg the scenery and shots, just mwah. I also just love that play on Victoria hiding in the trees and the cameras movement.

Notes: kinda had this idea as a drabble for a while, didn’t really know where I wanted to go with it but I think the end result is nice lol, enjoy the fic and have a happy new year!!

It was chilly, staring out the window. Your gaze was fixed on the white flurries that fell to the ground. The candle flickering on the side of the room and the illumination of the freshly fallen snow outside were your only sources of light against the darkened indigo of the night sky. The sky was clear tonight, giving you access to view the glowing stars deep within the blanket of space. It was quiet, not that you minded. You soaked in the silent peace, allowing yourself to recount the evening in comparison to the exhilarating chaos just hours before.

Just hours ago, the sky was full of fireworks. The brilliant sparks lit up the skies with gold and blue. The sounds of firecrackers and the clatter of pots and pans rang out into the night. The carefree screams and laughter could be heard throughout the large crowds you and Victoria had danced through. The joyous spirits of revelry seemed to be infectious, with you two genuinely enjoying yourselves for the night. The excitement of reached its precipice when the countdown was finally over, in which Victoria pulled you into loving and spirited kiss.

Letting yourself get lost in the memories, you didn’t even hear Victoria enter the room. Even the the darkness, you could clearly make out her intensely crimson eyes which were now gazing at you softly. Saying nothing, she sidled to your side. Feeling her hands make their way down to your waist, you leaned into her comfortably.

“Happy New Year, Victoria.” You turned to her and returned her gaze with a loving expression, giving her a peck on her porcelain cheek. Victoria brought a cold hand to your cheek and pulled you into a soft kiss on her icy lips. In that moment, the world just felt like you and Victoria, and no one else. You were so glad to celebrate the previous year with her and could not wait to spend another year of eternity together.

You're so right on your take of Victoria wanting to dance with Bella at Prom. Jessica whispering ambiguously between flirtatious and threatening to Bella as they dance, maybe implying that she now needs a replacement to take James's place and that she never really quite liked him in the first place, but it's a matter of vampiric revenge and whatever (I never liked James, and the canon of their romance grosses me out).

It's okay, because she might teach her later <3~ They continue dancing until the song ends. She kisses Bella on the cheek, telling her she'll let Edward have the next dance with Bella, and stares him (and maybe the other Cullens) in the eye, and makes away into the night. How the first movie should have ended, change my mind.

Yeah James is a fucking slimeball and I do not like him. And yes exactly Victoria’s there to WOO her obviously! You wrote a whole scene in here I love it lol
