#victor x benji
The best love triangles end in polyamory

No one asked but I’ve decided that I don’t mind who Victor ends up with as long as they actually develop it well and stop with the pointless drama

A bit sad we did not get to see Victor and Benji more lovey dovey this season. (It was expected with the time jump thing.) There were plenty of amazing moments, don’t get me wrong. The hand thing Benji says he will do whenever he wants to touch Victor (heart-breaking yet sO endearing). Their kisses. The DANCE. You know what dance I’m talking about. And more! These are at the top of my head rn. But I wish we had seen them more at Benji’s house. It was said that Victor had been going there more bc obvsly Isabel did not want Benji in her house (or if he were, he was ill at ease), yet we only saw them twice at Benji’s house. First time they were interrupted in their make-out session. Second time it ended with them taking a break... Anywayyyyy. It is a shame. If you’ve read my previous post, you’ll see that I think it’s understandable for them to have struggles, but I wish we had a bit less drama and more fluff for these two boys.

They need to give venji a chance now where Isabel is on board and now that vic knows about the addiction he can hopefully talk to benji and they can work on their relationship and not throw everything away cause things got hard and vic and rahim had one day of fun like let them be friends not a couple. Also the scene between Isabel and benji at the end was so good and like she said she never saw vic fight that hard for something he’s not going to give that up cause he had fun with someone for a while he just met also what a stupid message that would be from the show like if you’re relationship gets hard just find another like no just like Armando and isabell venji have to fight for their love and not give up already. Who doesn’t have fights even big ones in a relationship? It’s normal not toxic

I‘m so tired of ppl who want victor to drop benji because things got hard guess what that‘s called life ppl. Doesn’t mean u immediately drop the person you’re in love with for a guy u just met cause it was easy with him for a day like what is wrong with you.

The sense of urgency for Victor also makes me think Benji. Cause think about it. benji ran out after seeing what he saw heartbroken, told Victor that Benji's such an idiot and ran away. We know that he's in AA and has been sober but this could trigger a relapse.
This also yep 👍🏻 Also i don’t buy that they think one can’t figure out who’s door he’s in front of like if they wanted to keep that a secret why show us r‘s doorway so much that u can clearly see it’s not his

I honestly feel like I need to rewatch season 2 bc I'm so frustrated with how it ended. I really did enjoy watching the first half-ish, maybe up until episode 7 or 8. Even with Victor and Benji constant fighting. I'm quite mixed bc on one hand it felt realistic you know? Couples do have struggles. And knowing their lives and traumas, it was bound to happen at some point. Past their honeymoon phase. Their summer bubble.
Benji broke up with Derek and went straight with Victor. Victor just came out and his mom gave him and Benji a hard time... On some level Benji can't understand Victor remaining hopeful about her bc he's not from the same background. Benji still has a drinking problem and hadn't talked to Victor about it bc he's ashamed which makes total sense.
I wouldn't say they have overcome their struggles in the most graceful way this season. There was some miscommunication here and there and yet again they're 16 year-olds, it's obvious why it did not go smoothly. They're human, they're flawed.
So yeah, their fighting felt realistic to me considering all of that. But at some point in the season it felt (not rlly unnecessary but kinda) too much like problems were piling up and their moments of peace were too brief. Not a second to breathe.
To be honest, I think I would have still been okay with that if it wasn't for that stupid love triangle thing. To me, Rahim could have just been Victor's gay friend. That was it. Why adding him as a love interest? It just adds more drama. Venji already have a lot on their plates rn. A lot they need to deal with and discuss. As much as I loved Rahim's character, the end felt unnecessary and wrong. And why leave us on that cliffhanger? Like are we expect to believe that Victor may choose Rahim after one great day out? It's a big no from me.

I am just rewatching the Felix and Victor scene in episode ten. And because of the “close your eyes” speech, Benji is the only option imo. If they had skipped this speech, I would be really divided and couldn’t tell who Victor is going to pick but because of the things Felix asks Victor, it just can be Benji, right? It would make no sense for Victor to really consider Rahim as his future at this point - not after such a short amount of time.
So I really think it’s Benji. A different thing is what the writers gonna do with that. Whether they have them talk and work through their issues and actually become a strong force together or they have them break up properly and then they move on to Victor and Rahim and stretch this whole love triangle bullshit even more. But if they go for this option, then really what’s the point… ?
So I hope it is Benji, and they make up and actually become a couple that talks to each other and works on their relationship. And I hope for a full blown friendship between Victor and Rahim because people can actually just be friends ;)
Just my thoughts :)

I get people wanna make Benji out to be this awful guy but he has right to be upset about things he’s teenage boy to and has feelings if we can understand victor for being awful to mia then we can understand benji feelings unless y’all are hypocrites and just hate him for no reason, sure he shouldn’t have outed victor to adrian but being upset about his boyfriends mom making him feel like trash is good valid reason for him to be hurt and upset which he has right to be! stop hating benji for existing and having feelings cuz y’all don’t like him
this fandom and it’s double standard y’all are happy felix broke up with his amazing girlfriend who just wanted to protect him because felix didn’t think he could trust her but mad at benji for doing the same to victor just say you don’t like benji and go because y’all get upset at him for existing and having very rational very valid feelings just because u don’t like venji but love filix that is just a fanservice ship at this point

Why for fcks sake do u ship ppl who hung out like 2 times total and has a non consensual kiss what happened to friendship? Victor needs gay friends not another love interest for fcks sake and if u can’t see that than u totally don’t care what victor wants himself and if u Heard Felix speech and think for a sec that he thought of a guy he had like one fun day with then u have way different problems also
The scene with. Benji and victors mom at the end hello she’s on board now she will help them get back together to redeem herself otherwise why was this scene necessary??

Are there a lot of ppl shipping v and r cause if so why ? Cause they had a connection and hung out twice ? Those ppl sorry don’t understand that just cause u fight u don’t need to jump to the next guy sometimes ppl should fight for their love. Like why do u always want characters to throw away everything just cause u think someone better came along which u don’t even know cause they hung out twice I just don’t get it. What’s wrong with them as friends ?????

Another thing I just thought of if v would pick r why did they need the scene with benji and v‘s mom at the end ? And why would they write felix‘s speech like that ? I mean if they wanted us to believe there was a chance for r they should’ve wrote this differently and not in a way that speaks of prom, long distance and all the other stuff he couldn’t possibly know about r cause they just met and the line of „is there a person where it would kill u to not do those things with“ like come on use your brain

s3 venji happy for an entire season and not creating unecessary drama challenge 2k22

when benji talked about their picnic date i just got so mad and sad. they rly wasted this season with unecessary drama and having them fight every other scene when it could of just been a season of happy bliss venji. we literally only got 2 episodes of it. a show doesn’t need unecessary drama to be interesting.

This is what they should’ve done from the start they barely know each other and hung out twice why would there even be a choice like all the things they have in common is better as friends and the way he used victor‘s vulnerable state don’t sit right with me.
even if u for some reason ship r and v u have to see that they don’t know each other all all why would vic run to a guy he just met and be the guy he can’t live without instead of his bf who he loves and is still together with.
