Tales from the Server Core Summary

Today I installed a Server 2012 Server Core then made it a domain controller, you can review previous blogs to see how I did that. After I restarted I explored the Get-WindowsFeature to see what was currently installed. I then ran a few other commands to see IP address for this DNS Server and started installing Windows Updates. After each day I work on the Server Core I will do a GET-History so you can see the commands I used. I sometimes mess-up on a command by forgetting a  forward/back slash or two, but if it is a major command that I will want to test you will see that too when I print the history with the command -whatif at the end of it, so do not worry you will never see a command that says Get-Service | Stop-Service, Don't worry I am a professional. Well I will tell you what if you run it you will be out of a job fast!!
