👻 Wildest headcanon!

Headcanons? Hmm.

You know how Lea keeps wearing his black coat so his friends will recognize him? I imagine Ven probably does the same with his outfit, just.. unknowingly!

But that’s not particularly wild… Hmm.

How about: Sora, Strelitzia, and Xehanort would make great Quadratum roommates!

That’s a pretty wild one, but it’s the idea behind New Strategy.

Sora’s torn between wanting to hold a grudge, and wanting to befriend Xeha (especially for Strelitzia’s sake, since she’s their mutual friend in this AU).

I actually started a second chapter for this fic that was never finished. The premise was that Sora still had his Dream Eaters (thanks to the Heartbinder), and Strelitzia still had her Chirithy!

Chirithy explains to the group that Sora’s Meow Wow is a Chirithy that transformed to protect a heart from Strelitzia’s time. Sora was surprised, but could relate to the pressure of protecting someone else’s heart. And Xeha… well, he wasn’t exactly Meow Wow’s number one fan in the beginning of the chapter, but he seemed to complain a little less after learning that.

🐰 Write for others, yourself, or both?

Both! My first stories were for me, but now I really like to hear people’s reactions too.

‘A Dream Come True’ was a fic written specifically for an Ao3 user named yellowrabbit. In one of my stories Eraqus wishes that he could’ve met Xehanort sooner, and they encouraged me to turn that wish into an actual AU! (It ended up being one of my favorites, because Xehanort gets to meet Brain as well.)

Oh and, I’ve written fics/brainstormed ideas with @skrimshaw , so you could say those stories were for us to share 😊

“Come on, I think it looks cute.”

“Yeah, let’s see if you feel the same after walking around in it.” This had to be some horrible joke. “I mean – what the hell? They can’t be serious!” Halloween wasn’t even close! But no, they had to take advantage of the situation, didn’t they? Find any excuse to have each contestant parade in little outfits of their choice. A ‘fun theme’ they said. Pfft, fun for who? Not for her, that is for damn sure. It was bad enough Rosalina roped her into this mess, going from each dressing to practice – but this nightmare …

“Hey, at least you have the parts to fill it.”

Lucia could have killed her right then and there. Anything might have sufficed to wipe that sly little grin on her friend’s face before it burst into another fit of laughter. “Are we done?”, she sighed as eyes reverted to her reflection for a final once over. Incandescent bulbs shine off the glittered powder set on skin; collarbone and shoulders kissed by a curtain of golden waves. Beneath her braided crown, ears are tucked and pinned; the ensemble pulled together with delicate accessories. Among them, one piece she never thought to see the light of day after throwing it deep into a box of her room.

Maybe this will serve as a lesson for letting Rosalina decide the details.

“Just about.” Hand pats her shoulder after the delicate chain was secured; pendent finally laid to rest. “Remember, this is supposed to be fun.”

“Oh I’m sure.”

“Could be worse.”

Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, as lungs inhaled another deep breath, it was time to go out. Plaster on a sweet smile, laugh at some of the worst jokes she ever heard of and move on. “I swear, if some pervert tries to touch my –”

“Don’t worry, I’ll be close by.”

And so, with as much enthusiasm as visiting a dental office, Lucia exited her changing room with Rosalina in tow. Numerous other women dawning costumes from typical cliches of nurses to officers catch her eye – each one giggling as they neared the double doors to be announced. Manager and contestant paired off, exiting upon their call. Their sashes pinned before hinges drew opened only to close in anticipation for the next. It is a flurry of faces and cheers as they soon entered; her arm gently cradled through Rosalina as they followed suit to soon hide among the crowd.

Nostalgia threatens to overwhelm her senses. Fond memories just beyond the horizon; of fresh flowers thrusting into her sight before a familiar face peaked behind them. Warm words of encouragement echoed as arms snaked around her waist. Pride swelling his voice with rosy cheeks as he took in the sight of her. Of calloused fingers reaching to tuck away a stray lock behind her ear only to linger and trace her jaw.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.”

A shallow breath filled her lungs; silent gratitude washing over as attention returned. Brow furrow with confusion, unable to understand why Rosalina suddenly halted after the pair plucked flutes of champagne from passing trays.

“What?”

“… Jeez, you really don’t catch a break.”

“What the hell are you talking about now?”, words are uttered as her gaze followed Rosalina’s. “I don’t understand –”

“Exactly.”

There is no mistaking it that silver hair nor the lanky man with the cheshire smile. Of all the places, in all the crowds ... he had to be here.

“Ven.” Like a dreaded curse, his name slips in unison.
