Carl Skånberg (June 12, 1850 - 1883) was a Swedish painter who trained at the Royal Academy in Stockholm and then went to Paris and Holland to practice plein air painting. He was one of Sweden's first Impressionists, but sadly died young from tuberculosis which had plagued him since his teen years.
