Because the video game console at the Shack reminded me of Atari VCS from the seventies, Fiddleford's interests toward computers and his college years, now I'm thinking...
Will Fiddleford McGucket consider making games if he enjoyed games at Palo Alto as a hobby?
Personally, why not?
I mean, I heard that Atari VCS was hot in the seventies, and college students loved arcade games back these days.
I already heard of some fanfics that he already developed his own video games too, including a VR prototype.
Also, I'm not sure I can count it, but it could be used as proof to support this Video Game Fan headcanon.
(Yeah, if only we can count it as valid)

Cliff Spohn's cover art for Star Ship, 1 of 9 launch titles for the Atari VCS released on September 11, 1977. Upscaled and retouched.
Star Ship was programmed by Bob Whitehead and was based on Atari's arcade game Starship 1. It was the first space-themed game developed for the VCS. Also released for the Sears TeleGames system under the title Outer Space.
