Puppy Bruce

Hear me out:

He's not actually a puppy.

HEAR ME OUT STILL

I think I may have talked about this before? Jerome making Bruce his puppy after kidnapping him. Like just conditioning and dehumanizing him to the point that when he's returned to Alfred he's practically unrecognizable other than by his looks. I've kinda started writing a short snippet about this, but I just wanna talk about it.

At first, he seems weird but hey, he just got rescued from being held captive for however long by Jerome Valeska. But then Alfred starts to realize just how much is different, just how weird his behavior is. He won't speak, 'cause good puppies don't talk. He crawls around on the floor, puts his dishes on the floor and eats with his hands or sometimes even without, never gets up on the furniture until Alfred demands he does, but he still won't sit normally. (What is this sitting normal you speak of?)

It's been weeks, and he's still acting so odd. Eventually calling Lee and asking for her opinion, she reluctantly tells him what she thinks happened to him after spending the day with Bruce. She even gets him out of the manor for a couple hours, and he chased after a ball and seemed very sad and confused after catching it. ("Where is my master?" He's thinking, poor thing.)

Then finally when Jerome escapes Arkham, and does the whole bit onstage- he puts a leash and collar on Bruce instead of the bomb collar. And puts on a bit of a show on how good a puppy Bruce is for him. He knows how to sit, roll over, speak, kiss. And using Bruce's example, Jerome tries to train Jeremiah right there on stage too, dragging him around by a leash. Bruce is a little jealous, but he is a good boy who will sit still and obey. After all, Jerome promised him treats if he behaved for him in front of everyone.

I just want him to be this empty-headed little puppy for Jerome's amusement. And to see Bruce's family in horror at what he's become. And Jerome would show him off to EVERYONE. The other rogues would be so sick of him. His constant cooing and showing off, and not to mention how uncomfortable they get when things get a little too sexual... It'd be so much fun.

Bruce would eventually get over his jealousy of Jeremiah. Because having another puppy or another master around makes him not so lonely when Jerome goes out. Whichever way it went down for Jeremiah, maybe both just for funsies.
