I still really don’t know how to handle the Queen Bee stuff, I thought by now I should have more clarity but I don’t. In all honesty, part of me wants to just say Avu is a victim of capitalism and didn’t really have a say in her actions, wants to just ignore them and move on like nothing’s wrong, but the majority consensus still seems to be that she really condones and encourages the sexualization of those kids and should be treated as such.

There’s a part of me that thinks maybe the best way for myself is to act as if the Teppeki performance on TFT was the band’s goodbye, and engage only in older content that was from a better time and a better Avu. I know some people who essentially view Old Avu and New Avu as separate individuals. Maybe this is the best way, because despite her recent actions, I can’t erase the impact QB previously left on me, the inspiration Avu has given to Queer individuals and individuals of Color in Japan and worldwide.

I feel like there’s no right answer for me. Erasure is impossible and unreasonable but at the same time, too many have been hurt by these events to continue as if nothing happened.

I really don’t know! And no matter how much time I give myself to process things I come up with no answers.
