Okay like two hours have passed since I got the Pfizer booster and I have had like zero side effects. I think a lot of the things I thought were vaccine side effects were just that I was apparently very, very allergic to the Moderna vaccine, so that's...something lol

#the person behind the yarn #vaccine mention #allergy mention #my arm isn't even sore yet #like maaaaybe a little bit of soreness like bruise if I push on it #but other than thatnothing #and the moderna vaccine hurt. a lot #and my bp is a liiiiittle bit low 100/60s #considering I took an extra dose of my bp go up meds #but I did also take more benadryl than usual (still not a single full adult dose but I usually take the small child dose so it's 3x as much #and that can absolutely lower my bp a little bit #I am staying hydrated and had a cup o soup (for maximum sodium) and am doing okay so far

I have been an adult a while but today was the first time I was ever alone while getting a shot and I was SO brave about it which means I can do anything now and never die. How should I celebrate my strengthened immortality

Saw this ad today and i cant explain how happy i was to see someone acknowledge disability in their "remember to get vaccinated!" advert. People who can't get vaccines always face so much ableism because we get grouped with anti-vaxxers (ex: being accused of faking it, being told your disability doesn't exist, being told to do it anyways and if you end up in the hospital it's for the greater good, etc) and idk it's just so refreshing. I usually never praise advertisers but as an immune compromised person this made me genuinely so happy

I don’t believe after four years of vaccines and avoiding covid, even though I had my vaccine this year as usual I still caught covid, i’m feeling like shit

Don’t get me wrong I am very glad I got the vaccine otherwise I reckon I’d be much worse but aaaaaa it sucks @-@ meanwhile the doctors won’t give me my next inhaler prescription bc they didn’t have a nurse that was certified to do my asthma check

oh dude you either have memory of a steel trap or someone had a good rewatch recently! But, wow, tbh I do not remember this and in HoM AU designs I only delibarately added earrings/piercings to Kim and Jake to sort of break their design more from their og looks (especially Kim lol, I barely changed her anything xD) but also for practical in-verse reasons. I didnt even think about Jun or anyone else... but you know? I like it, so now she does!

AND now she got 7 of them!!! Some are just simple hoops or studs, but others are magical gem stones for emergencies (small spells and protections), and she can just swap them out when needed.

After you mentioned it, I wonder why out of all characters Jun is like almost the only one without piercings of any sorts? I mean even Lila got a fang earring and she has been human-shaped for like less than a year?? Which led me to a headcanon:

What if Jun's invulnerability is so strong she couldn't even get piercings in a normal human way? So, going with her Mom or her friends to get her ears pierced in a mall was out of the question. She and Jasmine had to enchant a needle/make a spell (or maybe just visit a monster beauty salon), just for her to do it and after they just show up to her parents like: "Oh look Barbara, Michael, I took Jun to pierce her ears, doesn't she look wonderful?'

And later Jun just took the needle/spell to covertly make more piercings with her friends, which Ophelia was more than happy to do. The other three she got a bit later over the years. ;D

Hey y'all! Weird question time again Did this latest covid booster leave you a little bit short of breath or trigger your asthma at all? Because ever since I got it my asthma's been acting up, but I also have endocrine issues and probably MCAS and I can't tell if this is a "this booster specifically" issue (because I got a Pfizer booster instead of Moderna this time) or if this is just a "my immune system hates me and everything" issue where activating my immune system throws everything out of whack
