Organization has always been key. 🔑 _________________________ Productivity tips: 🔸 Write it down (it becomes real this way). 📝 🔸 Set realistic tasks with deadlines (I recommend @notionhq as an organizational tool). 🔸 Do the hardest task first. 🔸 Doing things in intervals. First time back at a coffee shop post COVID-19. ☕😷 ________________ So, I came to catch more reading outside of my bedroom/office for once. 😂🛌 ________________ So far #TheDesignOfEverydayThings has taught me to be more in tune with my subconscious and conscious thoughts. Since the mind and the brain are such complex entities Norman separates our thoughts into 3 different levels of processing - Visceral, Behavioral, & Reflective. 🧠 ________________ As #UXers we want to provoke a positive and smooth usability experience, but that's not always the case. Understanding that designing at all three of these levels of processing is important. My visual timer came in today! ⏲️ _____________ I've always been a hardcore #pomodorotechnique advocate, but having to use the timer on my phone during college wasn't always my favorite. Although, it was on airplane mode during my intervals it defeated the whole purpose on having ZERO distractions.
