I honestly would like to see a Marvel Zombies story that's not beholden to the idea of "we want to see all the Marvel characters as Zombies".

Like, what would a zombie outbreak in the Marvel universe actually look like?

If it's your typical zombie virus, spread through bites, then there should be a bunch of characters either outright immune or conditionally immune to it.

Like, there's people with healing factors that canonically protect them from all disease. The Wolverine family, Hulk, Deadpool.

Then there's the outright invulnerable, with impenetrable skin, like Luke Cage, Carol Danvers, and ironically the Sentry. If bullets can't break their skin, neither should teeth.

There's also the temporarily invulnerable, like Colossus, Emma Frost, and Kitty Pryde. So long as they keep their powers up, they can't be bit.

And like, until someone strong enough to bite through Titanium gets infected, Iron Man, War Machine and Ironheart should be relatively safe.

So don't fudge the powers. Let those guys play out like they normally should. The situation is still fully capable of getting utterly fucked.

What happens if a Psychic gets infected? A powerful magic user? Pym Particles and Superspeed were already spotlighted as two powers you don't want ending up on the Zombies' side in previous stories, as they breach any form of containment fast. What others powers would be devasting in the hands of the undead?

And who are the wildcard survivors? Which heroes are perfectly set up for this specific situation, when they may have been minor players before? Which villains could prove integral to winning the day?

I'd love to see the premise done differently to what we got.

This blog will pit 64 different pairings against one another. All of them are in some way “problematic”- some feature a minor and an adult, others feature incestuous pairings, others still simply have questionable or potentially abusive dynamics. Many ships combine elements of more than one.

Each day, 4 polls will be posted pitting two different ships together (for a total of 8 ships per day). You are free to vote in as many or as few of these polls as you’d like.

This blog is explicitly pro-ship and anti-censorship, and obviously features dark themes. If this is a point of discomfort for you, you are free to block this blog, I don’t bite. Hate towards anyone (and anything unreasonably rude about ships or characters) will not be published and users that send it will be blocked. Nothing explicit will be posted to this blog, regardless of the ship, so minors are free to interact if they so wish.

@sparrow-eats-kats - Supergirl (Kara Zor-El) - The Woman of Tomorrow is an absolute powerhouse within the DC Universe that can stand toe to toe with her notoriously powerful cousin, Superman. Sparrow and Supergirl both have life-altering events centering around their childhood being ripped away from them. These events required them to grow up very fast and without much guidance in a brand new world. They both also have to navigate the world somewhat within the shadow and influence of their very powerful family members.

@fiasco-of-freyglen - Human Torch (Johnny Storm) - The hottest-head on the Fantastic 4 by looks, personality, and also sheer temperature, The Human Torch is a near perfect match for our favorite rebellious sorcerer. The match is so good that is almost self-explanatory. But there's more than just aesthetics here, Storm grew up destitute on the streets on NYC after his mom was killed in a car accident and his father kicked him out on the street.

Johnny Goldfiddle - Gambit (Remy LeBeau) - A smooth talking, gambling, hot-head with a southern draw who throws explosive playing cards, wears a weird head accessory, and grew up in a gang of thieves to soon become the leader because the patriarch of the thieve's guild retired. I didn't realize how close these two's backstories were until making this post. The only things separating the two characters at this point is a silver quarterstaff.

@varina-has-a-gun - Wonder Woman (Princess Diana of Themyscira/Diana Prince) - Born from clay in the image of a literal Greek god, Diana has been winning feats of strength and agility since she was born among a lineage of warrior women on the mystical nation of Paradise Island. She had to fight EVERY SINGLE ONE of them to gain the famous lasso and uniform best associated with Wonder Woman. Both are from an alternate world to the mortal plane (Feywild/Themyscira), the two fight and move each step with the force that could move a mountain. They embrace strength wherever they can find it and are foundational in the crossing boundaries to gain new relationships. They both speak with authority and great composure. When Wonder Woman talks about politics, war, battle strategy, or even just breakfast, people most definitely listen. Same thing with Varina.

@bath-creek-lake - Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) - A air-force pilot given superpowers from an alien superhero's machine explosion made Carol Danvers one of the most powerful Marvel heroes the universe has ever seen. She is a bastion of perseverance and has shot up on the list of morally upright good characters in the Marvel Universe on the level of Spider-Man and Captain America. On teams where Captain Marvel is prominent, she will become the sort-of moral compass to help the team accomplish their goal. She's so steadfast in her morals that she was the opposition to Tony Stark in Civil War II. Lake and Carol both emulate and radiate that every step forward is a step in the right direction.

@lionel-the-librarian - Doctor Strange (Dr. Stephen Strange) - The Sorcerer Supreme (even though by D&D standards he is most definitely a wizard) and Protector of The Eye of Agamotto, Doctor Strange is the most formidable magic user on Earth 616. Like Lionel, he's nosy and witty but makes it worthwhile with his seemingly endless depths of arcane knowledge. They both also have some experience with handling live human organs.

Let’s Discuss the Infinity Stones

I’m world building for a fic largely inspired by dls’s “If You Had This Time Again,” which is a time travel fix-it focusing on the infinity stones. So of course I pulled out my stack of papers containing infinity stones info and I had the thought to post what I have on here just in case someone would like to use it. Forewarning, this information focuses on the stones in relation to the movies.

As we know, there are six stones all together. Here they are in no particular order:

Soul Stone

The soul stone is an orange stone located on the planet Vormir, or more accurately can be accessed on the planet Vormir. It’s location was unknown until Gamora, a daughter of Thanos, discovered it’s whereabouts in 2014. The Nazi Johann Schmidt, aka Red Skull, transported to Vormir in 1945 and was appointed the guide to the stone. According to Schmidt, a soul is required to obtain the soul stone. Not just any soul but a soul loved by the acquirer. “You must loose that of which you love. A soul for a soul.”

The orange gem grants mastery of the soul. Meaning the wielder can alter and manipulate all souls. It can also preserve the soul to allow for life after death, resurrect the dead, and conjure the spirit of a dead being. The soul stone has its own pocket dimension only accessible to the user.

My personal head canon is that Schmidt is only telling a half truth. He’s both harming and helping the visitors. I don’t think the soul has to be loved to get the stone but I do believe that the stone respects the sacrifice more and you are only allowed to hold the stone in hand when it contains a soul connected to yours. I also think the stone is less likely to twist your commands for this reason.

Mind Stone

The mind stone is a yellow stone that was housed inside a scepter. This scepter was given to Loki by Thanos to help with his invasion of New York, United States, Earth in 2012. It was then taken by SHIELDRA and used by Baron Von Strucker to give the Maximoff twins their powers between 2013-2015. (sorry I don’t know when exactly their experiments took place) The Avengers recovered the scepter in 2015 and placed it in Avengers Tower where it corrupted Ultron and then was finally placed inside Vision’s head.

The yellow gem gives its wielder the power of telepathy. It can be used to influence a person’s thoughts or actions. It also grants the user a sense of all-knowing intelligence mainly via their ability to access minds.

Power Stone

The power stone is a purple stone that was covered by an orb structure kept on the planet Morag. Peter Quill, aka Starlord, took the orb from Morag and it was then used by the Guardians of the Galaxy to defeat Ronan and save the universe in 2014. Afterwards, the Guardians placed the power stone under the protection of the Nova Corps on their planet Xander.

The purple gem does as it’s name suggests. It amplifies the wielder’s abilities or actions to that of a superior quality. No matter who the wielder is fighting against their strengths will be above the opponent’s.

Space Stone

The space stone is a blue stone housed inside a device called the Tesseract. Hydra used it in the 1940s during WWII. During the final fight between Captain America and Johann Schmidt, the Tesseract transported Schmidt to Vormir. Howard Stark found the Tesseract when looking for the Valkyrie wreckage, or more precisely Steve Rogers’s body, before 1970. He shared it with SHIELD who allowed it to be used for project Pegasus. Carol Danvers obtained her powers in 1989 when she was doused with Tesseract energy attempting to keep Yon-Rogg from getting it. In 1995, Carol became Captain Marvel and entrusted Nick Fury with the Tesseract. SHIELD kept the Tesseract until 2012 when they traded the Scepter for it. Thor then took it to Asgard where it was placed in Odin’s vault.

The blue gem allows for instantaneous teleportation through space. The wielder can travel across the universe or just twenty feet in a blink. This travel happens via portals instead of atoms disappearing and then reappearing.

Time Stone

The time stone is a green stone that has been on Earth for centuries. It was found by Agamotto, the first known magic user on earth, who then stored it in a magical amulet that became referred to as the “Eye of Agamotto.” Ever since Agamotto’s death it became the responsibility of the Sorcerer Supreme to protect the time stone as well as time itself. Doctor Stephen Strange used the Eye of Agamotto to save the universe and defeat Dormammu in early 2017. Dr. Strange was then appointed Sorcerer Supreme and tasked with protecting the time stone and the sacred timeline.

The green gem allows the wielder to manipulate and travel through time. Its user can control time from a single source to all of life. They can see into the past and the future. Also, the user can access a diagram of timelines.

Reality Stone

The reality stone is a red stone that was referred to as “the Aether” by the Dark Elves. When worshiped by the Dark Elves, the Aether was a free moving red liquid. The Aether inhabited Jane Foster in 2013 when she traveled to the Dark Dimension. After removing the Aether from Jane and stopping Malekith’s invasion of Greenwich, London, England, Earth Thor with the aid of the Warriors Three and Lady Sif gave the reality stone to the Collector on Knowhere.

The red gem grants its user the ability to manipulate any and all reality. Meaning the wielder can turn an object into whatever they wish, change the laws of nature, make any fantasy come true, and create their own version of existence. It also gives them access to the multiverse. This ability is possible because of their control over reality. If they can control it of course they have access to all forms of it.

Now if you are wondering how exactly Thanos was able to wield all six I’ll tell you. Firstly, he had a conduit made by the best welders in the universe. Welders who literally make sentient weapons from dying stars that can kill gods so that was a bit helpful. Also him being from a powerful race of conquerors all whose baseline is above superhuman didn’t hurt. Secondly, the stones are meant to be used together well more accurately they can be used circularly.

I don’t think any being, even those above god status, would be able to wield all six if the stones weren’t influenced by each other. If someone has mastery of one stone then in theory they can control all the stones. Which we see from Thanos; the stone he used the most was the power stone.

Marvel's Midnight Suns - A not to miss video game in January 2023

Marvel's Midnight Suns is a hero in the field, and the card-based combat is truly a huge hit. The more adventurous social elements are intriguing conceptually, permitting you to candidly interact with a spectrum of characters, but the script and cutscene focus simply just is not up to scrape. It implies that you'll dedicate extended stretches of the overall experience of playing the game itching to return to the game, however, the lure from the strategic battles will pull you through. This hero, who is often customized to be the kind of hero people wish them to be, is considered the warrior offspring of Lilith. They defeated their particular mom three centuries earlier when they both took the time to relax in a stone bed. Having been resurrected by their surrogate mom and the keeper of the Midnight Suns, Caretaker, they must now lead a fractured group of heroes in an epic battle against the devil. The new Hunter, like Cap in The Avenger, is a fish out of the water, but instead of missing over 70 years, she's gone for 300. As a relative beginner (or an old-fashioned super-oldcomer), Hunter gets the possibility of forming new connections with most of the stylish heroes, which in turn shows the user that they have the opportunity to begin from scratch with characters that are beyond famous. The result is an exciting video game of getting to know you with these heroes that could be both amusing and informative. It is very cool to watch her play video games with Carol Danvers or watch films with Nico. However, as other characters quickly realize, this new hero has a quiet strength and brilliance, possibly sufficient to bind the two teams into just one to bring positive results. Great prices for PS4 games.

The fight is a lot like that of Slay and Spire. The three characters you choose have an assortment of cards to symbolize their actions, and the three decks form the primary platform. For each set, you'll draw a deck of cards and be given three play options to choose from. Each attack is only one play of cards, however, which means you are only allowed three approaches per set unless people find ways to bypass that. Certain cards are freely available and can be played without the use of a card recreation. Additional cards are generally Quick, so if you destroy an enemy, you'll recover the game played in the round. You can also draw cards every turn; however, redraws may be useful to perform other actions. Check out our great range of New Xbox Series X games to take gaming to a whole new level. The primary source you'll be managing is heroism, which is a resource you can use for lots of things. If luck is on your side, many cards will build up heroism when they are used. The amount you earn is determined by the card. Nonetheless, you can keep as many as 10 cards at a time. Heroism can be used as a spending resource for highly effective cards. One of the most effective blasts demands a minimum amount of heroism, which means anyone has to increase it before you can use the assault. However, these attacks are more often than not worth the cost, and countless of them can be character-defining.

Heroism can be used for other purposes as well. Midnight Suns, and possibly the most exciting is environmental warfare. Every arena is dotted with countless environmental threats. Environmental threats can involve throwing rocks, pulling down a lamp post, triggering explosives, and smashing opponents into electrical items. Most of these environmental skills are generally only used for one purpose; however, they can attain large segments and cause a great deal of bonus damage. Most especially, they don't need graphic card plays, which means they can be used to finish off wounded opponents or to set up damage chains. Midnight Suns' tactics make players feel like they've out-witted the game itself, as people take on opponents one after another within a single round. The game truly does an excellent task of demonstrating a new flank of what the superhero energy fantasy is in games due to the way it tackles that thought from a brand-new game genre. In addition to the precise strategy and overall mechanics, the game offers a lot of variation in the missions and the encounters, which means that you don't know what you'll bring if you suit up to fight a brand-new danger.

Fight in Midnight Suns is a boots-on-the-ground 3D arena for tactics. There are 3 superheroes to choose from, each packing a deck of 8 actions that include 4 attacks as well as four defensive or skill-based techniques. The cards are dealt out as a group, and consequently, really improve the group feel - two moves as Blade every moment, you are playing 3 card games together as a group. Everyone is in the game. You can also send staff members out on unmanned tasks, which adds to the overall strength imaginary of directing the Avengers.

i really love a good enemies to lovers story, i think that's one of my biggest comfort tropes, and another one of my absolute favorites is when a character asks someone to be their plus one to a wedding!
