usually i dont like posting things like this but...

it is terrible knowing what it felt like to be pinned down and have one of your wings ripped from your back. and it’s terrible to be hit suddenly with a feeling you haven’t felt in years and be nearly crying because now you don’t even have one of them.

gosh i haven’t felt like this even slightly since my angelkin days and YEAH this makes it all make sense BUT STILL.... it was never this intense, never intense enough that touching my back and realizing there’s nothing there anymore makes me want to lose it  im fine i swear i am i just didn’t think this shift was going to be as strong as it is, ive only seen like three episodes of the show ajfkal

it keeps crossing my mind of what it was like when my wing got ripped from my shoulders, as michael pinned me down with all his weight and used his stupid fucking strength that i used to have too to pry it out of my back it took so long to heal... there was so much blood....  and yet....

Richie goes with Eddie to meet Myra about the divorce. Eddie and Myra are both dressed very professionally while Richie wears a bright green hawaiian shirt over a baby slut t shirt. He shows up late even though he drove there with Eddie and constantly refers to himself as a homewrecker and tries to high-five the divorce lawyer. Myra's like "you really left me for this?" and Eddie says "no I totally understand it's just that I've been in love with him since I was like, 12."

younger richie and eddie who don't really understand their feelings for each other other than "best friend they constantly think about." One day they're hanging out without Bill and Stan and they find a 25 cent machine with plastic rings inside. Richie's face is tomato red as he suggests using their last quarters to buy rings for each other. Eddie agrees, and they swap plastic capsules in the alley behind the pharmacy. Richie's ring is translucent purple with a bear on top and Eddie's is metal with a daisy. They don't say anything as they slip on their rings, and they DEFINITELY don't bring it up the next day at school, or the next day, or every day until suddenly, two boys in different towns throw away a cheap crappy ring that they don't remember buying.
