The rumors are true! I posted Chapter 13 of IKBAIKAM last week.
Now, onto the next! I hope y’all are ready for quite the vibe shift toward a beach episode where only one of them is actually at the beach. However, before then we’ve got a flashback. I hope you enjoy this rather farcical excerpt despite it being far more than six sentences 😔
Baz POV, past—age almost thirteen
[Snow] tightens his grip on the stolen silverware that I assume he keeps on him in case of pastry related emergencies and repeats, “The cat, Baz! Where’s the cat?”
“What cat?”
“The cat you were threatening with your gun! I heard it screeching from the corridor!”
Great.
I spent my entire Christmas holiday learning to read a treble clef only for the result to sound like a dying animal.
I’m more than awful at playing the violin. I’m ghastly, gruesome, violently unpleasant. I’m resolute to never pick up an instrument again. Truly, I’d like to die on the spot. Killed by my rude roommate and the humiliation of failure.
Wait…did he say ‘my gun’?
just tags under the cut
I’m early! Y’all get tagged first!

I’m My Brother’s Keeper
Warnings: Angst
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jack and Urban rarely ever argued. Urban was just a passive person; he would rather smoke than get into it over some petty bullshit. In your two-year relationship with Jack, you had only seen them get into it over one thing: Clay. Jack’s relationship with his younger brother had been tumultuous through the years, and they had just begun rebuilding their bond over the last couple of years since Jack’s fame had grown. At first it was just typical sibling rifts, but as Jack grew up, he became resentful of Clay because he was a constant reminder of his shortcomings and he hated how hard his dad was on him in protection of Clay. Urban grew up with one sister, so his friendship and brotherhood with Jack gave him another brother in Clay. He took him under his wing, and tried to prevent any fights between Jack and Clay because he knew their relationship was important.
Your relationship with Clay had grown over the years, and you four had become a close-knit group. As the oldest child in the family, you understood where Jack was coming from, and you tried to be as understanding as possible when Jack came to you to vent about his family. One night, Jack came home in a terrible mood, barely saying two words to you as he ate dinner and headed to bed. You usually gave him time to cool off before you addressed anything, but something seemed different this time. Jack was usually levelheaded, but everything ticked him off that night, from the silverware drawer not opening on the first pull, to his favorite hoodie not being clean for him to wear to bed.
You had had enough of the sound of slammed doors and angry grunts when you approached him in the bathroom. Jack was brushing his teeth, his sweatpants hanging low on his hips, his white tank tight across his chest. You wrapped your arms around his waist from behind, placing a kiss on his shoulder blade. Jack shrugged you off, spitting his toothpaste into the sink. “What the hell if your problem tonight?” Jack pushed past you to get into bed, and you followed him, hands on your hips. “Nothing.” Jack edged out, grabbing his phone to scroll through Instagram. “Is it something I did?” You asked and Jack sighed, looking you in the eyes as you stood looming above the bed. “No.” “Okay then don’t shut me out, if I didn’t do anything, don’t take it out on me. “You climbed into your side of the bed and shuffled over to Jack, sitting back on your heels.
“Its Clay.” “What about Clay?” you ran your hands through the top of Jack’s curls, scratching his scalp with your long fingernails. He shivered at the touch. “He wants to start producing.” You waited to hear Jack’s next sentence, not sure where the animosity was coming from. You leaned into the pillows and grabbed Jack’s hand, massaging his fingers one by one. “That sounds amazing! He has always wanted to get into music. What’s wrong with that?” Jack sighed again, averting his gaze to his feet on the bed. “He doesn’t want to produce any of my music.” “Oh.” You knew that Jack would be hurt by that. You swallowed a couple of times while thinking of a response. Jack cut you off before you could get the words out. “Why the fuck doesn’t he want to work with me? You know what, I wouldn’t want him to work on my music anyway. He doesn’t have any experience; he’d probably be a shit producer.” Jack laid down facing away from you, effectively ending the conversation. Not wanting to push the issue further until Jack could calm down, you went to bed.
Except Jack didn’t calm down. He was in the throes of touring, stuck in tight quarters with Clay most days, and his face was just a constant reminder of the betrayal. You encouraged Jack to talk to Clay and explain how he was feeling, but he just brushed your suggestion off. It wasn’t until after a show late one night when the team was loading into the van to head back to the hotel that his pent-up anger threatened to explode. Jack had felt off the entire show, and he couldn’t pinpoint if it was the setlist or the crowd that threw things off. There was nothing Jack hated more than when he had a bad show because he took pride in the time and dedication it took to put it together.
You climbed the steps of the van, passing by Urban and Clay who were sitting in the front seat, huddled over Clay’s phone. Jack was in his usually seat at the back of the vehicle, and you could see from his face that he had been stewing in his rage for a while. You sat down next to Jack and grabbed his arm to pull him out back to reality, leaning close to his ear. “Whatever it is, let it go until we get to the hotel.” Jack nodded, his eyes still focused on his brother and best friend at the front. “Hey Y/N, want to show you something, got a second?” Clay turned back to address you, holding his phone out for you to grab. You glanced at Jack to your right, his face turning bright red. “Can we do it later, Clay?” you were trying to deescalate the situation that was unfolding in front of you. “She wouldn’t even want to listen to your bullshit anyway,” Jack shouted out, looking for a reaction from the crowd, but everyone fell silent. Clay just slumped back in his seat, turning to face the front. He admired his brother in every respect, and his opinion meant so much to him. This was a kick to the gut. “Jack stop,” you warned him, but he was just getting started. He ripped his arm from your grasp and stood up, walking to the front to tower over Urban and Clay in their seats. “You know what? If you think you’re too good to work with me, you can get off the fuckin’ bus.” Jack grabbed Clay’s backpack and threw it out the door of the van, and you winced at the sound of Clay’s computer shattering at impact with the ground.
Until now, Urban had stayed out of this situation, having heard from both Jack and Clay, trying not to take sides, but Jack had taken it too far. He stood up to Jack, at eye level with him. “Back the fuck off Jack. Clay doesn’t owe you anything. None of us do.” Jack turned his rage to Urban, unable to believe what he was saying. “Stay the fuck out of this, Urb. You don’t even know what’s going on.” Urban stood his ground. “Clay is a fucking good producer, and instead of being a bitch about it, you should be supporting him.” Jack looked between Urban and Clay, who hadn’t moved in the last couple of minutes, one last time before getting off the bus. You followed behind him, stopping to pick up Clay’s backpack off the ground and hand it back to him. Clay looked defeated. “Sorry Clay.”
You and Jack grabbed an Uber back to the hotel, and while you cared that Jack was upset, you couldn’t believe how he had treated his own brother. Jack stomped around the room, no real purpose to his motions. “Jack, sit down”, your voice was stern and loud enough that he immediately complied. “Why did you do that to Clay?” Jack threw his body back onto the bed, resting one arm over his eyes. “He cares so much about what you think! You should be happy for him that he wants to pave his own way and not be under his brother’s thumb. I thought out of anyone you would understand that! Tell me why? Jack!” it felt good to get that out. “I don’t know.” You could tell in his voice that he was telling the truth.
You sat down on the bed, and he removed his arm to look up at you, his eyes brimming with tears. “I know he would be good at whatever he does, and I just wanted this to be the thing that separates me from the person I used to be. I used to treat him so badly baby, and I was so angry at him and my dad for how I was treated. This was supposed to be my thing!” tears were starting to run down his cheeks, breaking off to fall down the side of his face. You laid down next to him, using your arm to envelop his shoulders, leaning your head against his. “Jack, I think you need to give Clay more credit. He is his own person and even though he looks up to you, he wants to make a name for himself. I think him producing separate projects will be amazing for his confidence and you won’t have to worry about a career coming between you to. You both have worked so hard to repair your relationship and things are going so well. Don’t let this be the reason things fall apart.” You continued to hold Jack for a while as he calmed down.
Jack finally got the courage to reach out to Clay and asked both him and Urban to come down to your room. When Clay entered the room, Jack immediately grabbed him into a hug, holding his head against his own. “I’m sorry man. I was just jealous; I will support you in whatever you decide to do.” Clay returned the hug eagerly. Once they separated, Jack turned to Urban, extending out a hand. “Thank you for putting me in my place, Urb.” Urban pulled Jack into a hug, “That’s what brothers are for.” You were so excited to see that your favorite men had made up. “Clay, I’m ready to hear what you have been working on.” You and Clay plopped on the couch in the room, and Clay played you some of his newly produced beats.

I'll take your word for it that you saw it happen but eating burgers with a knife and fork is absolutely NOT an "everyone does this" situation. The vast majority of burger places do not even have silverware available! Curious if the people you saw at the pub were over 50 and developed their tastes at a time when burgers were less common in England (I've seen news coverage of the 'shocking new food trend')
I swear to GOD I saw it everywhere. Ask my mother, we were just there! I have no motivation to lie about this, it's not a thing I even would have considered a human being would DO until i saw it WITH MINE OWN EYES. We didn't go to five guys, admittedly, but every sit down restaurant had it happen frequently.
I told my friend who is a little younger than me in Southampton how shocked I was about this, and her response was to be shocked that I was shocked, so i don't know if they're doing it different in the port cities and you live in an urbane area or what, but we went to a burger restaurant after the place I really wanted to go to was closed in York, and we could not STOP noticing IT HOLY SHIT YOU CAN SEE A WOMAN DOING IT IN THE BACKGROUND ON THEIR TRIPADVISOR ZOOM ENHANCE

I am about to make a joke, art thou prepared for the joke? Joke incoming.
Y'ALL ENGLISH ARE GASLIGHTING ME CONSTANTLY ABOUT WHAT Y'ALL DO AND DO NOT DO, BUT I WAS THERE, GANDALF, AND THE FORKS AND KNIVES WERE USED. THIS IS NOT A TWILIGHT ZONE EPISODE.

Here's another AU for your AliceNort obsession.
Imagine: The manor may not be a thing in this AU, but imagine Norton got cursed when he detonated explosives in Golden Cave and now he's stuck in Hunter form. Alice discovers him while she's investigating the mining disaster, and she agrees to help him break the curse? They end up falling in love along the way?
Bonus points: it's an urban fantasy AU and Norton has to be kept away from stuff like credit cards and tvs because magnets will mess those up.
LOL 'Obsession' 🤣😭😭 who ME?? surely not me -guilty guilty guilty, has been perceived and put on blast-
Tumblr media
LOL BUT OH MY GOSH I ADORE THIS 👀
Alice spotting a creeping looming figure in the shadows and chasing after it cause she wild like that 🤣 Norton originally able to scare people away so he wouldn't be found but nothing is working on this chick lol Finally relenting and responding to her questions here and there but still hiding in the shadows, keeping away. Keeping this up for like weeks, where Alice would leave and comeback the next night, rinse and repeat. Until she turns off her flashlight and wanders into the darkness towards his voice, him kneeling down and hovering his face near where her hand is reached out and finally first contact 👀 Opening his glowing eye and now she gets the picture that this individual is huge just by the size of this eye. 🤌🤌🤌
Then having to work together to figure this curse thing OUT! having to relocated him when no one is around and hide him in her small apartment 🤣 The whole complex complaining that they are having trouble with their tvs and silverware going zero gravity-ish out of nowhere HAHA LOL LOL Friggin AWESOME 🤣🤣
Then get the doki dokis 😏 after a while heh "I know youre made of rocks but, sheesh like the statue of david rn" LOOOOOL

Café Life
Somehow I come to live in this French café
in lower Manhattan where I do not sleep
and where I only sleep
sipping café au lait from a bottomless cup
in lower Manhattan where I do not sleep
sometimes losing the narrative line from the novel in hand
sipping café au lait from a bottomless cup
reading the room, the flow and ebb
sometimes losing the narrative line from the novel in hand
conversations splashing against streaming reggae
reading the room, the flow and ebb
the clatter of plates and glasses, the sounding cymbals of crashing
           silverware
conversations splashing against streaming reggae.
A few years – or hours – later
the clatter of plates and glasses, the sounding cymbals of crashing
           silverware
recede as I walk out into expanding layered montage of an urban
           world.

@deadaim -> Hey should we get the green kitchen set or the bronze one :/ I like both
As stressful as buying a house was, it was nothing compared to having to fill said house with things after living in an apartment for the last decade and a half. Shopping was never an activity Chris enjoyed, crowds and loud noises were not fun for him despite how much he loved his hometown of New York City, but a large city was different than a cramped building or two and in a store he couldn't see every exit. Luckily for him though, he had his anchor with him in the form of his darling husband and Leon kept him tethered to the mortal plane with both their entwined fingers and constant reassuring kisses to his cheek as they browsed wares and filled a rickety shopping cart with their bounty.
They hadn't even decided on if they were going to repaint the kitchen, and thus a color choice wasn't set in stone and the two for the last fifteen minutes had overly examined every brand and option the store had to offer until Leon finally seemed to narrow the choice down to two. Of course the green ones had caught his eye, his favorite color and Chris had a sneaking suspicion that his husband has pointed that one out specifically to make him happy, and the gesture alone had made warmth spread in his stomach and shot up to his chest until he finds himself leaning down to press his own kiss to Leon's temple.
Tumblr media
" The bronze, the metal makes it look very urban and it'll remind us both of our roots. " His tone is soft, just as gentle as the look in his eyes as he returned to pushing the cart around, already set on moving onto their next choice, silverware. " I love you for thinking green, but I have my heart set on making the four season porch green themed, with plenty of plants. " He adds with a song in his voice, the cart squeaking as the hulking man is mindful to not bump into anything glass with his wide frame. " Think on it though, we have all day. Maybe we can go pick out a new bedspread quickly? I want to know what color you'll be spread out on after we wash it. "

The unlocked door to the back room of the all-you-can-eat Ethiopian restaurant felt like a nudge toward the impossible, a thing of pressurized quiet and fragrant warmth. It looked like the portal to a different city, in a different time, a city you could step out into wearing fez and frock coat and stovepipe hat. Smell the air, sniffed Adam. Yes, not just spices but a different chemical composition.
The closed door had always called to him, the air behind it shimmering with movement and sound. It had been an open door once, back before Adam was born. That was back before they started running. It had been a closed door before that, too, because the city in question was a space of the past. It was 2001. We had an architecture professor who specialized in diving into historical buildings. He took us on a tour of the Algonquin Hotel in Manhattan, before the decapitation. His manner was deferential, and he always seemed to be having a much better time than anyone else in the class, even though nobody got to take home his bottle of Algonquin Old Tom. He was from a different city, and that place had no doors, so he had come to the present with a suitcase full of doors, each one encapsulating a different kind of place.
Most of the doors he showed us were in the northern part of the Algonquin. That was the haunt of late 20th-century media moguls and celebrities and other such dogs of the urban apocalypse. Small front doors led into small front parlors, wooden and restrained, with lovely pianos and wicker chairs. Flanking hallways, doors opened onto dining rooms, where new and old coexisted and struggled to perform a dance of indifference. The new could have been found in the bright lights, the brass, and the imported antiques. The old could be found in the chandeliers or, in some places, the bone china and silverware. Everyone always said that the civilized part of the hotel's architecture -- the mosaics, the brass, the polished marble -- was just Hollywood in the new center of the urbicidal economy.
He had also taken us to a place called the Old New York or New Old New York or something like that. None of us could remember the official name, so we just called it Old New York, or N-O-N-Y. To get there, we took the elevator down to the basement and walked through several long corridors down below the level of the new media canyon, which was the lowest point of the building. There was a secret, unmarked door under the revolving door, and that door opened onto N-O-N-Y itself.
It was a very long corridor, the walls lined with the framed certificates of deceased authors and actors, most of which had been recycled from the Algonquin's own framed-certificate vault. At the end of the corridor, two guardian doors flanked a viewing window: one for exiting the room, one for re-entering it. There was another door in the room, but it seemed like it was just part of the thick, old wall. This was the only room we saw in N-O-N-Y.
I can't explain how strange it felt to be in there. It felt as if we were in a time from which there was no emigration to the present. It felt -- not unkind, but it was a looming feeling. Some time later, when I had become very used to the world of the present, I thought maybe it was just that we had seen into a place where doors did not exist. Doors had gone out of fashion. The only door in the whole city was the door to the Algonquin's executive suite. The guests there, and the guards, were all holograms. The walls were made of, and dissolved into, shimmering glass. Somewhere there was a meaty, biological core that could be eaten. The occupants of the city had spurned the door and the idea of the door, and this had eventually turned into a kind of architectural perfection. The idea of "door" had been stretched into a meaninglessness as infinite as the sky.
But it felt differently when we were young. To us, it felt as if the place was populated, but the people were trapped inside it. It was an immortal prison, or maybe an immortal kind of hibernation. Maybe some of the residents were conscious of this, and maybe they wanted to wake up. Maybe they wanted to wake up but not to wake up alone, and maybe they didn't know how to wake up without ruining the dream, because they were there before they were born, before anything happened, they were just there and never left.
Maybe I was thinking too much about doors. The deadness of it was a kind of hypnotism, because it forced you into a dead world. There was nothing alive there that had not been there before. No one had ever added anything to the place, it was the same size it had always been, the same amount of wall and ceiling and floor, the same light, the same empty doors, and the same unspeaking, non-intruding guards. Maybe the reason the Algonquin was there was that it was the only place left on earth where doors still existed. The doors were the souls.
So this was the Algonquin Hotel. The one door that showed up in the eyes of the partygoers was an interior door to the back room. The back room was the Algonquin's one anachronism. Anyone in it knew they were in the 20th century. Every time the Algonquin's exterior doors opened, cars would pull in and out, but the back door was hidden behind the corridors below the canyon, and even more heavily guarded than its sister doors up above. The back room was only for those who knew the raison d'etre behind the unmarked door.
Before Adam got to New York, he did a little research on the hotel. He assumed that the back room was just the modern version of a secluded executive suite: a place to hide from all the pomp and self-parodies of the front of the building. He had become a resident of some important restaurant in the canyon, and at night he would take a taxi there. He would unlock the hotel's back door, have a drink, and look around. Maybe he would play some pool, or eat a steak, or see who was back there. He would note the names of the drinks on the menu and add them to the pool of possibilities in his head. Always, a guardian door and a hidden door sat side by side. Sometimes he could not tell which was which.
A guy called him in once. He said he had heard about Adam, and asked to buy him a drink. Adam was drunk, and liked him, so he bought him a drink. This guy told him he was an old NYC man, and had been associated with the Algonquin many years ago. Back then, this guy had been a cocoon, a type of valet for the men who came to the Algonquin with their wives or daughters. The customers called him a cocoon, because it seemed like he spent all day in a cocoon. He wore a hood and gloves and a large and heavy winter coat, and he did not like being touched. The customers had an idea that it was because he had been in a car accident and had some damage that couldn't be seen.
The guy had started out as a deliveryman, but had found the position of cocoon especially to his liking. Before long he had one assigned customer to whom he gave exclusively. The customer found this comfortable, because he worked in a place where everybody wanted to keep an eye on him, and he didn't want to give anyone an opportunity to do that.
The cocoon he had had was called Marv. Marv had been his name in life, but after some time working as a cocoon, he preferred to go by his job title. He liked the idea of one day being dead, and known as the cocoon.
They had tried to take away his cocoon position, Marv said. It was because a good deal of the cocoon's job was "personal delivery," which meant taking his charge up to his rooms, helping him with his needs, and removing his waste. The cocoon would enter through the hidden door, carrying a pair of large, black, zipperless bags, known as "dookies." The cocoon would stay in the room until the dookie was full, after which he would leave through the hidden door without saying a word. The dookie would later be emptied by chambermaids, who did not know who their customer was or what his needs might be. This was the job description, and as such it might seem straightforward, but it became difficult when the human in the dookie started talking. Marv said that he had once gone into a room, and while he was taking down his charge's pants, he heard the man say, "I am buck naked with a cocoon in the room." Mar

How to Find Furnished Monthly Rentals and Extended Stays?
These hotels are equipped with all the comforts you would expect from home, including wireless Internet access. Whether you are looking for a hotel that offers a great swimming area or a hotel that offers a workspace that you can use to conduct business, the facilities these hotels offer will likely come in handy.
For more info and a guide, you can visit 6 month rentals near me.
Tumblr media
Most people love to stay at these hotels for a variety of reasons. Most people also have their own unique reasons for choosing these facilities. Vacationers love the prices for these rooms, as they are often among the cheapest in the area at any given time.
Business travelers often find comfortable living areas, built to emulate the feel and comfort of a modern home, quite satisfying overall.
Business travelers will also find the wide range of special services not normally available in hotels convenient. Conveniences like laundry facilities, fitness centers, and heated pools are always a sight to behold, especially when you're homesick while traveling for business.
Also, people looking for a great place to live will find these facilities perfect for all their needs. Because rooms at Extended Stay America locations are tailored to the needs of long-term guests, they offer in-room dining sets and silverware, comfortable furnishings, and even free local calls.
Short Term Rentals Provide You With Everything
Whether you're moving to a new area or on a commercial mission for several months, short term rentals can offer you many things that a hotel can't. Hotels will be the most expensive option and they will also be the smallest option.
Therefore, it makes no sense for you to stay in a monthly hotel for $1000 for a long time if it offers rental accommodation where you have everything you could possibly need.
If you were staying in a hotel, you wouldn't have access to a kitchen. This means it's a takeout hub for you that can quickly add up. If you live in a rented apartment, you have a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal. It also gives you everything you could possibly need.
Short term rentals are designed to make you feel at home. You can enjoy Wi-Fi throughout your apartment and you will have cable on your TVs.
The TV is in your living room and bedroom so you can sit back and relax when you are home. This will be your second home until you can return to your own home or until you find a new home.
Also in the bedroom, you will find everything you need. There will be a comfortable bed, nightstand, dresser, and even spare linens for you.
Staying in short-term rentals means you don't have to worry about any of the little things. It's easier for you to take care of the other things that are going on in your life, like finding a new place to live or working long hours.
Make Your Short Term Rental Stay More Enjoyable
Short-term rentals are temporary homes that you live in when you only need to be away for a few days or weeks.
They make much better choices than hotels because they have a homey feel; they are actually fully furnished apartments that offer you the same comfort you are used to at home.
Vacation rentals are becoming more popular with tourists and travelers because they offer privacy and convenience.
Think about where the rental properties are located
Unlike hotel rooms, which can give you the convenience of a restaurant and other amenities within the same property, vacation rentals may not. Rentals may be further from such facilities and you should always consider your flexibility and location for your stay so that you can make the right decision.
If a romantic getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the urban environment is your thing, it is recommended that you be willing to go on excursions to access some of the facilities you may need during your stay.
Think about kitchen facilities
The great thing about rental properties is that most come with fully-equipped, functional kitchens, so you can enjoy your favorite meals even when you're so far from home. Take a look around the kitchen to make sure it has all the appliances you need for a smooth and easy cooking experience.
Of course, you'll need to stock up on your cookware, but it's always best to make sure you can actually enjoy the type of cooking you prefer during your rental stay.
Consider how the cleanup will be done.
Rental apartments can be large, with most having two or three bedrooms. Maybe you really don't want to clean the whole apartment to enjoy your stay.
Fortunately, most come with cleaning and cleaning service, so you don't have to do all the work yourself. To be on the safe side and ensure that you fully enjoy your stay, please confirm that this is one of the amenities you can enjoy with your chosen rental.
Think about what is important during your stay
If you cannot do without the Internet during your short stay, it is useful to find out if the rental apartment you have chosen has Internet or WLAN access. Your stay may not be that long, but you want to have the best time every time.
Short term rentals give you literally everything you need, room by room.

THE SIDEBOARD: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
Often used in the dining room to exhibit tableware and cookware, the kitchen to store food and cookware, or the bar area to store wine bottles and bar accessories, a sideboard is a storage cabinet. Instead of a console table, it can also be positioned in the living room or foyer. Although the terms "buffet" and "sideboard" are frequently used interchangeably, a sideboard is different from a buffet and may include a hutch, drawers, cabinets, and cupboards in addition to being used to serve food. As alternatives to sideboards, we also have credenza, servers, and China cabinets, but each of these has distinct qualities. Let's look at it!
The Sideboard and Its Types
A sideboard with drawers is a long storage cabinet with a low profile. Short legs, bigger cabinets, and drawers above the cabinets define it. When a sideboard is positioned in the living room, it can serve as an entertainment center and house the TV, accessories, books, and decorative items.
Dual Tone Extra-Long Sideboard
Although a buffet and a sideboard are quite similar, they can be distinguished by longer legs, a flat top that is perfect for setting out food in buffet style, and moderate storage capacity. It is always put in the dining room, either next to the table or in the kitchen. A buffet can be larger than an oak sideboard and have a height that is convenient for serving on the countertop. For the sole purpose of storing silverware, napkins, and plates, a buffet cabinet is employed. Tea, coffee, and food are offered to customers from a buffet countertop.
A credenza, on the other hand, frequently has low legs or a plinth base and typically features sliding doors. It is shorter and more streamlined, and when stored in the living room, it doubles as a TV stand. It can be used to keep books, files, and documents at the workplace or in the study.
A server cabinet is sized in between a buffet and a sideboard. On taller legs, it may have drawers and an open bottom.
Quickly Constructed Sideboards Provide Storage
Are you looking for fashionable furniture with lots of storage? The completely built sideboards are a fantastic option. A variety of designs is offered. With a traditional wooden or painted sideboard, you may maintain the timeless nature of your style, or you can choose a high-gloss finish for a sleek urban vibe. You can count on practical drawers and roomy shelves with plenty of room to organize whatever strikes your attention. Also, since they are ready-assembled sideboards, you can utilize your new piece right immediately.

Championship manager 01/02 korean
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You could sign him for chump change and he’d win you the Champions League with his sensational goal-a-game strike rate. He was a world-class striker playing for Gouveia in the Portuguese pub leagues. Was he real or was he fake? More importantly, did anyone really care? On Championship Manager 01/02, To Madeira became something of an urban legend. Every once in a while, you’d think about selling it but couldn’t bring yourself to do so. Then as time passed, and a fancy new sofa and coffee table arrived, it would move to the periphery. At the time he was absolutely essential, the bedrock of your future plans. The Swede was like the trusty armchair in your first flat. Still, it was always good to have him around. And if you ask fans of Sheffield Wednesday or Everton, whom Alexandersson represented in real life, that probably sounds about right. Where was his best position? On the bench probably. And on either flank too, just for good measure. Very few in the Champ Man universe were bestowed with the honour of being equally efficient in defence, midfield, or attack. Long before James Milner made it fashionable, Alexandersson was the original squad player. If there was a gap in your team, Alexandersson would fill it – and with the minimum of fuss. He was like Polyfilla with peroxide hair. On Championship Manager 97/98 he was the first and best signing you could ever make. Tommy Svindal Larsen – CM2 midfield general. If you're in your 30s and a fan of you probably owe this man a debt of gratitude. He would march his team forward to glory, stuffing his bags with silverware along the way. He would crunch your bones defending his own goal, then carve your defence into pieces with one magnificent swing of his trusty left boot. It didn’t matter whether you were Zidane, Rivaldo or Veron, if you got in Tommy Svindal’s way then you got the treatment. And like his ancestors, he thought nothing of storming onto foreign lands and stealing their treasures. His stats were mightily impressive, his average ratings even better. Norwegian minnow Stabaeck was the home of an unknown midfield powerhouse called Tommy Svindal Larsen. And Championship Manager 97/98 was no exception. In the late nineties, English football had cottoned onto the fact that Scandinavia was a bargain hunter’s dream. To celebrate Championship Manager turning 27 this week, has selected five of his favourite laptop legends… Tommy Svindal Larsen Trust me, I’ve been there. We all have them, those players you just have to sign when you start a new game of Championship Manager.įew things in life elicit quite so much loyalty as finding a player on the game you can rely on to consistently do the business. Once you get addicted, you’ll find that you’ll spend enormous amounts of time in front of your pc, and you’ll get somewhat disappointed when you discover that it’s impossible to play any further than 2025. If you find that playing with only the English and Scottish leagues somewhat weakens your interest, you’ll be pleased to discover that several foreign add-ons or stand-alone games are available. During matches, explanatory text explains you what happens through use of the same text boxes, and you can of course modify your team just like you want to, and use the tactics of your choice. The game is controlled by solely using the mouse, and the menus don’t contain icons or any flashy graphics - it rather goes for informative and in-your-face text boxes, CM-style. Literally every famous and semi-famous player from all around the globe is featured, and it’s of course possible to transfer players to and from your squad in your neverending quest for the ultimate line-up. Despite the fact that the game consists purely of statistics and tables and no graphics at all, it’s extremely addictive, and you cannot avoid not getting hooked if you’re a footie fanatic.īoasting endless features and an enormous depth, CM2 is just like managing an own, personal football team from the comfort of your own living room. Released fall 1995 as the successor of a fine line of various versions of the original Championship Manager, CM2 soon established itself as the benchmark game for football management sims. Play Championship Manager 2 online! Championship Manager 2 game descriptionĬM2 is a football (known as soccer to some of you) management sim. It was released in September 1995 for PC ( MS-DOS).
