The preview builds so far do not include all the drivers for the SP3 and that's causing some weird problems. The solution for me anyway turned out to be to obtain and install the latest SP3 driver pack from MS.

Now I have Win 10 build 10162 installed to dual boot (setting up to do that is a whole other story) on my SP3 and ran into these same issues (in my case it was the firmware update that wouldn't install). Try out Win 10 on my SP3 before committing to upgrading to it when the time comes to make sure I was going to like it. I know this is a few months later but I held off trying Win 10 on my SP3 until just recently (build 10130) and had only been trying it on one of my desktops because it didn't appear to be close to being ready for tablets before. When I close the keyboard cover, I often find my surface depleted of battery, shouldn't it go into sleep mode and be available for atleast a day without depleting battery? Anything I should check? On restart it appears as if it is applying it, and when I check updates, it says no new update, but after couple of days, the firmware updateĢ) I don't think my Surface sleeps as required. I'm using Windows 10 latest build with SP3.ġ) I've had issues with firmware update since February update, the update keeps appearing in the windows update.
