I would like to apologize for my admittedly spotty posting. I've got your asks, I've got my drafts, and some of my "chores" have built up for both, but I've also decided to have a decent sleep schedule (for whatever reason has possessed me) and I've spent the past week or so catching up on my video game list.

So what does all of this mean? It means that I'm going to bed earlier than usual after playing video games for some time and in the hours between, I feel so drained that I struggle to type anything bigger than a shitpost.

Everything will balance itself out soon enough, I'm sure, but that's my update at the moment. Not trying to excuse my lack of posts, moreso just trying to get my thoughts out there, into the aether, rather than just vent to my friends and getting "damn that sucks". Not saying that's what would happen, but I feel like not saying anything just has me so... bleh...

An update on my life atm...

Hello my lovelies!

I know I have not been on here in a hot minute and just thought that I would update you all on how life has been for me.

Since last year, a lot has changed and I have changed too. I am no longer affected by my toxic mother as I have now cut her off emotionally and that has made me grow so much as a person in only 2 months.

I now have a boyfriend! What?! I am no longer a single woman!

I may not be writing fanfiction on this blog anymore, but I am actually currently working on an original fantasy novel that I am so excited about!

When I'm not working on my novel, I am still writing small things for Baldur's Gate 3 (as it's my major hyperfixation at the moment) on my side blog @baldurs-simp.

Will I carry on writing on this blog? In time, yes. I still have some ideas that I want to get out there, but it's going to take time because I find myself really busy these days.

I do intend to do a bit of a rebranding with this blog but I will be keeping my blog name as it has become a significant part of the blog. But I will be shutting down some of the fandoms I write for because it's too much for me and I have to scale down a little bit.

I will try to be a bit more active on here, I promise.

Hey party people, i know I was supposed to update today, and that had been my goal, but i overestimated my mental health lol. i just started this week in the hospital (working, not sick) and those 12 hour shifts always just wipe me tf out. if i do get home and have time to myself i usually spend it vegging out. i have sunday off and saturdays are usually (knock on wood) not so crazy busy. so hopefully i'll have something then.😔

I've been really busy since I got a full time job last October and my overall wellbeing and happiness has improved quite a bit I'd say since then thankfully ^^! Absolutely no idea when I'll find the time to write again but I'll let you know as soon as that is. I pop in every so often to check out Tumblr, but definitely not as much as I used to, so forgive me if you've sent me something in my inbox I haven't responded to yet. I'll try to get to answering some more asks soon.

Im having a lot of fun playing (read: watching a friend play while backseat gaming on discord because I have a mac) Mass Effect: Andromeda so far, but I have to say that the absence of my favorite Fucked Up Weirdos is a glaring and heartbreaking drawback. Every time we turn a corner on the Nexus and do not see a single elcor, volus, quarian, or hanar is another quiet letdown. We will never see them. I miss them desperately

Director Tann is delightful though. He’s my bratty little salarian meow meow. He’s so awful. I adore him.

Sorry that I was MIA for so long, y'all. I was struggling with some health problems and was trying my best to focus on getting better. I had to have some biopsies done to test different things for cancer, but thankfully my results were benign. 🩷

On top of that, I am trying really hard to not rely on external validation so much as it's been very harmful for my mental health and it's something that my brain craves constantly. Childhood trauma is a motherfucker, huh?

So I'm here, I'm alive, and I'm trying my best!

HELLO! i am back!

i somehow got logged out of my account and forgot the password and email 😭

but i woke up in the middle of the night (in a cold sweat) and remembered them!

so here’s a little update on my life!

i finally said fuck it and started the nursing program, so i’ve been wanting to rip my hair out because of how stressful it is.

i also got a puppy! her name is mabel (yes, after mabel from gravity falls) she is such a sweet little demon. pretty sure she has given my whole family at least five scars because she is a biter. (i have been working with her on it, but she just loves play biting) i’ll at a picture of her at the end!

i’ve watched one piece! my favorite character is buggy the clown, who could’ve guessed that? everyone, boba, literally everyone.

i have realized that i’m not actually attracted to males, and am, in fact, a lesbian. also, that i like she/they pronouns! so that’s always fun.

i hope whoever reads this far, has a good day/evening/night. make sure to drink an adequate amount of water! i’m proud of you!

Caught the Flu so this chapter will be a little late because I'm basically constantly sleeping lol.

So I caught the flu! Who's shocked? Not me. Not at this point lol!

Pretty sure it's the flu because I NEVER catch a cold and haven't had my flu shot yet this year due to other procedures that were going on and it certainly feels like the flu. It's not COVID though so I'll take it because I don't want that ever, especially with my chronic asthma. Probably got it from all the doctor's office visits I had in the last 2 weeks about my surgery. Still waiting on a date for that, but it's looking like the end of next month at the latest so far so there will be some updates between then and now. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'll be updating the next chapter on Friday since I should feel better by then. I tried writing, but I just couldn't this week because I felt like crap smh. I'd post on Wednesday, but I have a doctor's appointment (yes, another one!!) with my Hematologist on the 19th so that would be squeezing hard for time, especially with my cold. So I ABSOLUTELY WILL SEE YOU ON FRIDAY THE 22ND OF MARCH. UGH! This year, man... It's been unbelievably crazy, and we haven't even made it to APRIL yet?! *Cries*

Hellooo everyone!!!

I have some news for you!!!

So first of all the script for the game is going well and same with the characters for the game tho have a long way to go with the script.

And second of all my parents ordered a Barnaby jumbo plush and I'm making a blanket for him and the Darlings.

And I'm thankful to those who let me use their oc's in my game (the ppl who's OCS/characters that are in the game gets a free copy when the game is done)

The blanket has a total of 30 granny squares sewed on.

Me very eepy

And might not upload in a long time bc in two weeks I'll be flying to Stockholm to see if I have autism, and it's my first time flying so wish me luck!

Hi! I’m alive! I’ve been off comforting my sister since she just had another surgery, but now that she’s over recovery and everything I can get back to reading your amazing works!

Hi! Glad to see you're back and hope your sister's surgery went well and she's feeling much better now ^^! Sorry I haven't posted much new content for you to read over the past month or two.

To explain my own absence really quick: I got a little too addicted to the various Character AI bots and it was a struggle for me to just stop and write my own works for even an hour a day because of it... And I know I'm not the only one like seriously I apologise to all the people I know who I've got hooked on the character AIs... Like I know you're all having a blast but still...

This week I got challenged to do 'No RP all week' by a friend who's also doing it (you know who you are) and wow I feel much happier now that I'm actually writing my own fics and getting work done on other things. Like I thought I'd be super sad not being able to RP, but it hasn't been too bad at all really.

So to summarise: After almost two months I'm back to writing my own fics and hope to have some sort of update for you all soon.
