Beloved Beyond Time

A DeadSerious Prompt where a young Damian follows his mother's advice about finding his future 'Beloved' and is smitten with a TimeTraveling Ghost King (Prince) Danny when his grandfather summoned the eldritch being.

Damian, despite being young, will want no other to be by his side once he takes over the League. Especially since the King was able to strike fear in his grandfather for even just for a moment.

Danny, whose just started taking up his soon to be Kingly title and duties, at first freaked out when a kid who just got out of toddlerhood is offering marriage. Who wouldn't. And well while he didn't fully encourage it, he found it a little adorable and tried to nudge the kid away from said... err crush feelings?

He was a little sad to have to say goodbye to the kid when his month long stay with the al Ghul's (mostly to see if they're worthy to keep the Pits) he was pretty for sure he'd never run into the kid again and if he did who knows how old they'd actually be because again.. time travel.

So Danny now at the age of 16 really wasn't expecting to be basically be cornered on his first day at his new school at Gotham Academy by a 17 year old Damian Wayne who is leaning over him and says "Hello Beloved. Time has been kind to you it seems."

Danny's poor half-alive heart is currently dying from being cornered by an older Damian.

Damian swears to a fading Danny he will marry him in the future #Danny returns to his own time and thinks thats the end of that. #A few weeks later he finds out that someone as a joke signed him up for an exchange student program and that he was picked to go to Gotham #Damian has NEVER forgotten the one he calls Beloved #and has drawn him. Many times. In Eldritch form. Ghost King form. Little Man form. Phantom form. EVEN his human form only Damian knew of. #So when Damian spots Danny. He knows who he is. #Damian is gonna try to channel his mother's abilities in seduction to woo his Beloved

We all greatly underestimate just how much a separated au would affect the family dynamics

No raph: Leo gains responsibility and cant always be jokey jokey anymore Mikey is most likely no longer as babied and is slightly more mature Donnie has less people holding him back, in conclusion they have less protection and stuff holding them back this will heavily affect every episode that deals with Leo’s insecurity of the lack of trust and will change the plot of the movie

No Mikey: they’d have no emotional help and probably would fight a lot raph would Baby the others with no Mikey causing a rift in their relationship like the one he had with Mikey Donnie and Leo would be even closer and a lot less mature being the youngest now with no emotional support/glue to keep the family together in times of need the rifts in the family would be a bigger deal this will not really affect their battles like no raph would but would still affect them, could affect the movie depending on who had Mikey and his relationship with his new brothers

No Leo:Donnie doesn’t have his twin (play with this all you want from minor to major) and raph doesn’t have his second in command because despite everything Leo was a second in command early on Mikey would lose a brother to hang out with and everyone would be in a lot more danger because a lot of the time Leo is the one pointing out who is trust worthy or not (ex: big mama hueso and he was suspicious of the purple dragons when Donnie joined them) so they would be in a lot of trouble in most situations without the plan maker and have a slightly more dull home life, would HEAVILY affect the movie considering how much was Leo development and depending on who had Leo could change nearly the entire story of the movie and shredder fight as well

No Donnie: leo doesn’t have his twin (play with this all you want from minor to major) this one affects them on a more physical level with the lack of tech in the house they wouldn’t get their first phone until maybe April and even then it would be one emergency phone if something broke it would have to be replaced because no one had the skills to fix it they wouldn’t have most modes of transportation and wouldn’t be able to track villains and now we bring back the fact they live in the sewers and just how fucked up their house would now be because Donnie is the one who installed air conditioning and the cleaning stuff and the one who built nearly everything in the kitchen and fixed the projector and the medbay stuff this would affect their fights as they would be missing key pieces to reaching the villains,this would affect the movie heavily especially considering who raised him and would affect the shredder fight too

In Trigun, we all know that plants don't grow up at the same speed than humans, as Vash and Knives are as developed as 10 years old children at one year old. However, y'all have miss something. In Trigun Maximum, it is told that Vash lost his arm around 80 years ago, and the Fall was around 150 years ago. However, in the flashback about the accident, Vash and Knives seem to be teenagers. Which would mean that plants don't grow faster than human, they go through early childhood faster, but stay teenagers for decades, than don't age once they reach adulthood (around 25 as Vash is described has looking 24).

Yeah, no shit Knives is genocidal, he's a teenager with no adult support. (*My Chemical Romance is playing in the background*)

BRUH THIS LITERALLY CONFIRMS ONE OF MY THEORIES ON MELINDA FNHEJSS

So my first thoughts on these panels was “Damn this bitch is tweakin😭😰🤨” then I really soaked it in, and i saw a couple things. For one, yea this bitch is in fact tweakin, but I feel like there’s a reason for her very conflicting thoughts.

I can see there’s a disdain for Donovan, it seems every time he’s brought up her mood changes. That might translate onto her kids since he is their father. Her use of the term “that man” instead of Husband for Donovan clearly shows emotional detachment; the fact of when she’s talking to Yor in chapter 66 (when they’re both essentially strangers) she’s quick to put up the front of her and Donovan being cool with each other.

Only to have that immediate mood change once he’s even thought about it’s quite telling.

So what I see now is a woman who’s clearly battling some demons; her clashing thoughts showing she has love for her kids, but such an hatred for her husband that she doesn’t know how to feel.

I think that she honestly never wanted kids, but that would go against the norm, especially for the (former) prime minister’s wife. And if she did want kids, it certainly wasn’t with the man she was possibly betrothed to.

There’s clearly some motherly love somewhere in her heart clouded by hate and disdain of Donovan and probably her family in general. There could be some fear of Donovan mixed in there too, but as of now it’s hard to tell.

And while I do think she genuinely hates him, it’s shown in the anime that they’re not totally estranged

Maybe she’s just there because she’s his wife, or maybe she’s a bit more involved with him than it seems.

Melinda is mentally unstable and needs to book an appointment with Dr. Loid Forger psychiatry extraordinaire ™
