This morning, we have some big F1 Wag need to cover for you guys. Let’s do some background for new fans here: Y/n Y/l/n and Charles Leclerc have been dating since 2019, that’s 4 years! Fans love them, they love how they bring out the best in each other and how Y/n always goes to races and is so kind with the fans! But we have bad news….

Last night, Y/n was seen in New York with none other than Jacob Elordi. We might have glossed over this, but she missed the Monaco Grand Prix to be with Jacob?? And, she wasn’t wearing the iconic necklace that Charles got her, one that she has said, “I will never take this off!”

Let’s not even get into how Y/n didn’t go to the last two Leclerc dinners…. things are suspicious, possibly cheating?

“Charles, you have got be joking?!” you said, following Charles out of his bedroom and to the living room as he had all of your bags packed when you got back to his house from New York.

“I’m not joking, Y/n. Get out. I cant do this.” he shook his head, your eyes filling with tears.

You knew that going to see Jacob last minute wasn’t the best idea, but you were there in order to plan a surprise for Charles, running into Jacob at the store was truly random. You weren’t a cheater either, in your last relationships, actually, you were the one being cheated on.

“You’re breaking up with me because of what Twitter says? This is ridiculous, Cha-“

“You don’t get to tell me what’s ridiculous. I mean, it makes sense! The random phone calls that you wont tell me who they are with? Leaving Monaco to go to New York randomly, also not telling me why. The last two family dinners?” Charles was mad, beyond mad, but he really didn’t need to be.

“The dinners? Oh, fuck you. You knows why I missed those. You seriously think that I can just call off work whenever you want me to? My work is unpredictable, I work late sometimes, I have clients that need things when they text or call, that’s how I get paid!”

“I could just pay for you-“

“No. No, no, no. You know this has been my dream job since I was little. Its not even about the money, it’s about me doing something I love. And you can’t support that. I have supported you during every race, Charles. I have always cancelled my plans to go to your races, yet you never even visit me at work! You wanna talk about our ‘issues’? Okay, here’s one: Why don’t you let me ever explain something before you get mad. Or, the fact that you think the world revolves around you? Or-“ he cut you off with a scoff.

You stared at him and grabbed your bags, “Fine, you want to just throw four years away over a fucking rumor, cool with me. Should have seen this coming.” You slammed his door and cried down the elevator to your car. This sucked, but at least you had a clean conscious since you did nothing wrong.

“Isa! Oh my god, you spilt the marinara-“ you laughed, gripping the island as Isa stared at the floor where she had just dropped the dish that was holding said marinara.

As Isa ran to the counter to grab paper towel, you took a picture of the pile of red sauce, still laughing as Isa ripped some paper towel off the roll.

Living with Isa was a blessing in disguise. The breakup was difficult, yes, and you’re sure it sucked for Charles as well, but now you were happier than you ever were.

You loved Charles, really, you did, but his constant lack of enthusiasm and support for your job was horrible. Being there for him all the time was never a question, sure, it was draining trying to make flights right after work, but you wanted to be there for him. But he was never there for you.

Moving in with Isa made you realize, fully, how much more you deserve. When you explained, in full detail, about how Charles’ behavior and the breakup, she was fuming. Cussing in spanish as she stomped around the house.

“Don’t laugh at me!” Isa said, as she continued to laugh and wipe up her mess, you joined her to clean as well.

“Sorry sorry. Be careful of the glass. I’ll grab the broom.” you got up, jogging over to the cleaning closet and grabbed the broom and pan, going back and cleaning up the glass.

Living with Isa was also messy, and chaotic, but you really wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Good Morning, Formula 1 Fans! Today, we have some coverage on Ex-Wag, Y/n Y/l/n, and F1 Driver, Charles Leclerc. If you are not interested in the Wag+Driver world, I would skip this article. Now, let’s debrief!

Charles and Y/n broke up about two months ago, both of them posted on their Instagram stories. Now, they still follow each other on Instagram, Twitter, and Tik Tok, so we know they have public ally remained friendly.

Yesterday, multiple fans have spotted and taken pictures of the broken up couple hanging out with Isa Hernáez, ex of Carlos Sainz, and Joris Trouche, friends with Charles and Y/n.

They were seen getting coffee at a local Madrid Cafe, then some shopping, and all seen getting in Charles’ Ferrari, Y/n in the passenger with Charles driving, Isa and Joris in the back.

We do not think this means the two will get back together, but seeing them as friends makes us all very happy, I’m sure.

"... I don't know if I should cry, laugh or mock you." You mumble as you look at the missing poster of your friend. Who did what she said about debunking the so called lost in wonderland case being related to her favorite book. She was the one debunked to Netherworld.

As reality drown to you, that your friend is gone (probably cause of stupidity) and the police have shitty policy about not looking for the missing person if it's not 48h. Like they are so dumb what if the person is tortured and in need of help?

"I... Probably should leave it to authorize." You mumble as you tearfully went home with Mr. Marshmallow and her kittens.

"I will leave it to the authority." You pulled out a bag and put bunch of things in it. Takes out toy gun and bunch of bullets and put it to the bag, container of food and a lighter.

"Like hell I will. ಠ_ಠ. Those people won't do shit till 48h." You feed the kittens when you went passe them.

You went to change cloths and slept after putting an alarm. When the clock strict 3am. You pick up the curse book and look at Mr. Marshmallow who meow looking at you as you put the book over the fire. "I'm gonna burn this thing." You thought that if you burn it, no one would be a victim anymore. IF that relation of the case is indeed correct.

"Alice in fucking Wonderland by (redacted)." You read the book title while having a backpack on your back, In case something abnormal happened.

You did vandalized it and wrote some stuff on the cover and edited some part from a random page. Now it's { Alice In the twisted wonderland }

As you burn the book, you notice the ink pouring out but alas, you pour holy water in it but it release an odd odor that cause you to cover your nose how bad it is.

"I don't know, some satan probably gonna say I'm dumb or something." You mumble. Mr. Marshmallow meow and walk toward you, purring while she rubs her head on your leg.

"If things goes bad. I left a note. And it also mean I will miss the exam tomorrow..." You probably really dumb and over think this. But if it's the truth, your burning the thing that dragged people to wonderland.

You heard a voice spoke behind you, Mr. Marshmallow on your hands went defense mood when a person appear before you, you pulled you toy gun. "DEMON! >:( YOU KIDNAP MY FRIEND."

"...well I don't have reputation with how crazy I act in public. So I don't think I have anything worth to save for." You point out. " Give me back my friend!"

your screams wasn't able to be heard anymore as you where surrounded by spiders and soon the mass of spider become a pool of ink, disappear to the book that written to it's original form.

hi do you have a schedule for writing? or you just write whenever and update the story spontaneously? 🥰 it seems like it is usually monthly updates but i wanted to ask you. do you recommend writing by following a schedule to new authors?

i dont really have a specific schedule tbh. I just write when i have the energy and the time to do it. so because this story is really engaging to me im usually a monthly updater unless life or health or something unforeseen gets in the way.

honestly no i wouldnt? because i think it creates a lot of unnecessary pressure especially if youre worrying people wont read it because you took too long between updates or theyre not going to wait for you to finish etc etc. because once you start trying to force yourself into a pattern that youre not already doing because it works for you (and youre not doing it because of being swept up by the story and the experience itself but because of outside pressures) then its going to negatively affect your enjoyment of the whole process if that makes sense?

because at the end of the day you are writing it for you first and foremost and you can always set yourself little reminders to try and write once a day or three times a week or once a week if youre worried about forgetting about the story or losing interest or motivation or something. but honestly it is important to take breaks too!! like were not machines we cant just give and give and give indefinitely thats not a sustainable way to live and its not a sustainable way to create either.

really if its honestly not your job and youre not being paid to get things out for a specific deadline then its definitely not one of the first or most important things that any aspiring writer should be worrying about imo. like why add that extra pressure when youre still trying to get into it and develop yourself?

i might not have a writing schedule but once i sit down and start writing im in and its very easy to get immersed in it- the story just flows right out of me and its on my mind often enough that i never worry about losing interest or not ever finishing it or whatever might prompt the need for a strict schedule. because this is meant to be fun!! not homework!! so if youre the type of person who does thrive in a strict scheduled environment and that feels more comfortable to you then just writing when you can then by all means implement a schedule! theres no right way or wrong way of doing it. everyone will have their own different methods and what feels best and most natural to them.

For me i like to always have notes on my phone for when im out and about and have an idea for a scene to add to the story- youd be surprised how often good ideas come to you when youre doing tasks that dont engage your brain fully- like showering, or driving or going for walks or even just being at work and doing that. in those moments thats when the notes come in handy because no matter how much you promise yourself you will- you might not always remember it!!! so i take notes. otherwise im breaking up the chapters with mini scene outlines that i want to happen or that i will eventually write. Not every idea is straight from the brain to the page. sometimes it is just easier to do brief outlines of whats interesting or intriguing to you and then you can come back and write whatever scene that appeals most.

So for example from the latest chap one would have been like (pete secret gets revealed, mr korn uses the opportunity to get rid of him and pete gets kicked out of the main family house, then he grabs oat and they steal an ambulance, escape montage etc) and sure thats basic enough but that really works for me! thats the distinction too because everyone thinks and does things differently- you just have to find out what works most for you. so yes of course i can give you tips and examples of what i do but that will be what works best for me. you could take some of that on board or none of it and it would still be equally fine! whatever gets you writing (and enjoying it- thats the most important part) :)

unpacking/packing dishwasher, watering mothers plants, taking the trash out, setting the table, cleaning the house (like sweeping/mopping and moving stuff where it goes) along with buying us groceries (but i dont get to use their car, i have to walk half an hour there and back to the nearest store and bring back milk sometimes, bread, other shit my parents decide we need

and well we dont get paid unless we do something like mowing, car washing, looking after siblings for over an hour, and we only get paid like 10 bucks for those things

yet they also expect me to be capable of saving up for shit when the only money i get is from christmas/birthdays, and they wont fucking let me get a job either

I have a phone bill that is around $50 due on the 12th and an installment for my college classes that is $390 that is due on the 15th. I started a new job after being fired from my previous one (I had missed 2 days of work from getting very sick and I was not able to go to the doctors to have a note written). I currently have about $110 in my bank account. I am not qualified for paid holidays at my new job yet, so I have 2 unpaid days off during this pay period and will only get about $100 for my upcoming paycheck. My next paycheck wont be received until a few days after the installments for my classes are due.

smth smth oc rambles

murr is almost constantly swaying a little bit, think like a cartoon character does when theyre in love or smth. its not super noticable unless youre like actively watching him

outis plays with his necklace a lot, especially while he talks. also speaking of the necklace it was a present from his dad, the very first time he ever went to the beach with his parents he was way too scared of going anywhere near the water, and his dad got him the shell while diving and had ot turned into a necklace for him

also outis has had to be hospitalized twice because of his allergy, once when he was 5 (it was the first time they found out it was a problem) and once when he was 10 (went out to eat with family and everyone forgot to double check that the food was safe). his dad makes a joke every time he his a 5th year that its 'time for another scare'. outis does not think this joke is very funny but yk how parents are

xander (who i havent . talked abt hardly at all despite them being the most notable nonedatable from vinnies route oops) is 20 and genderfluid (any pronouns with no preference) and is probably gonna be the person who sets you up with vinnie methinks. he likes vintage and old time-y devices and has a weird fascination with medieval weaponry/torture . shes relatively normal xe just thinks its really cool

addy used to give free food to randy when he was living in the dumpster. juniper used to threaten to beat him up so he would give her that food while she was on the streets. addy caught her during one of these harassment moments and with margo's assistance helped her get her current job to get her back on her feet

oopsie does not like roe or murr and treats them both similarly to how she treats gingi. when asked she just says they creep her out and have bad vibes and make her feel like shes in danger so she avoids them (however if she had to pick between those two or gingi she would go to them for protection)

kara still has her old trophy head, she got it changed shortly before coming to town and keeps the trophy in her room in oakey's place. not as an ego boost so much as a humbling kind of thing, she looks at it whenever she feels homesick to remind herself why she left in the first place. the blue ribbon she wears was the first blue ribbon she ever won, and she won it for a singing performance. THAT one she uses as motivation

jackson had an older model smartphone as a head when he was little, when he was a teenager (like 16/17 or so) his parents paid to replace it with a newer one since his old friend group's parents were all doing it and they didnt want him to stick out. one of said friends got the rainbow headcase for him as a joke but hes just never stopped wearing it

when talking to charlie the first time he mentions that lillith is mute and offers to give the player a little sorta book with basic conversational asl instructions so they might understand lillith better. the player would be able to refuse this either saying they already know it or saying they just dont need it and if you say its because you know it already some of the things lillith 'says' wont make sense to represent misunderstanding their gestures, if the player says they just dont need it lillith's text just flat out wouldnt show and youd have to go back to charlie to get the book

both charlie and lilliths heads are damaged (his screen is shattered, their clipboard head has a piece broken off of the corner), neither will disclose how either of the damages happened

in outis' route youd be able to meet up with stop in the laundremat and the two of you would work together to help him for a bit. i havent decided if you meet it normally or if you meet them post them getting hit by a car (a very common occurance for her dont worry)

similar to murr roe is not super picky about pronounce or gender things bc when youre around for long enough you sort of decide being picky about gender is not worth it. smth smth "im nonbinary now this shit is getting ridiculous" type beat

All my jaytim fic ideas are filed under "either currently in progress or not happening YET" and the only fic idea I've fleshed out that I probably wont do is my Dicktim hanahaki au. I wrote a snippet for it but I don't think dicktim fans would enjoy a long fic around it being unrequited and Dick having to mourn losing the Tim that remembered who he was while he's there alive right in front of him. Also it'd be a lot of angst and I'm baby after Fates' and don't think I could manage an Angst with a Hopeful Ending tag.

40. Write a 9 word fic.

26. What would you describe as OOC?

I guess it depends! I tend not to criticize characterization too much as we all come to these characters with a selection of what in canon resonates with us. In superhero comics the characterization of people shifts pretty regularly, often due to writers who aren't familiar with the character and don't dothe reading. So like, in fan works I will look at a person's characterization and see if it meshes with my ideas and go from there.

Internal inconsistencies within a narrative from a creator is the only thing I'd consider OOC. Say Tim goes from hating Damian to considering them brothers or whatever in the next scene they're in together- unless we SEE how that shift occurred or the change be acknowledged, that kind of thing bothers me.

That being said, I'm way more critical of OOC stuff in canon because if those people get paid and can't pick up a back issue for my blorbo to get them right we're enemies now

spotify wrapped is kinda overrated. y’all flexing over listening to the same songs over and over again. maybe it could just be my adhd, but i prefer listening to songs when i feel like it and not stream it constantly unless there’s a need for it.

another reason why i don’t really like modern kpop fans. y’all make me think that i HAVE to stream, vote and buy albums or merchandise DIRECTLY from them and not in a 3rd party app because oH tHeY wOnT gEt pAiD- and if i do any of those stuff i’m literally considered a “fake fan” just because i so happen to not have autism with stray kids as my special interest. this is literally the reason why i got off tomorrow x together and bts. being a kpop fan feels more like a chore than a genre that i could listen to and have fun with. you have to do all these extra things just so people would consider you a fan or not. can i just enjoy their songs in peace without having 14 year old fans screaming in my ears trying to tell me to stream dynamite and butter to 100m or 1b views before jungkook’s birthday. it just seems far too much for me. yeah sure older fans did have petty fights, but not in a way that i’m feeling like i’m not doing enough as a fan. i just feel awful inside and them pressuring people to vote or stream just makes me feel like i’m less of a fan.

No I totally agree the constant pressure to stream is honestly annoying like dude just listen to the songs cause you want to not cause you feel like you have to. Have I listened to 2baddies more than maybe 5 times? No, I'm sorry I just can't. It's that damn chorus I cant do it. I love Sticker but 2baddies was my limit the whole song is great but that damn chorus. Also I didn't really listen to case 143,I only listened to it twice. I love every other song on the album but case 143. Sometimes the title track doesn't really hit for most people and that's fine. Just cause a fan doesn't like one song doesn't mean anything. It doesn't make them less of a fan. It's so stupid. Kpop is just music listen to it like you would any other genre.

As for Spotify wrapped I just think it's fun and finding out who you listened to the most is interesting and I like seeing everyone's. Also with mine you wouldn't even be able to tell I'm a kpop fan. My top artist was Taylor Swift. For years my top artist was Why Don't We and Taylor was second. I genuinely listen to kpop in waves I can't listen to it everyday.

it is genuinely my sincere wish and hope that after enlistment bts will a) take another long break and b) either leave hybe or radically reshift things at the company and what they’re willing to do. namjoon is my age and when he’s finished enlistment he’ll be what. 30? 31? i can’t imagine wanting to be tied down to the same fried chicken tv spots webtoon series data mining phone game app bs i hope they can escape all that i really hope they can. i hope they know they have listeners and well wishers who will follow them anywhere and they can live their lives as artists with dignity and freedom. and above all i hope nj or yg or someone one day has the backbone to come out and just say it. they came so close at the festa dinner but i hope they say it in words that makes even the most deluded stan shut up

LITERALLY. like i know its very unlikely that they do leave hybe but. i mean bts are one of the few groups whose career wont be devastatingly impacted by enlistment, at least next to other groups where the stakes for maintaining traction are much higher. and unfortunately i do think hybe is too far down the waltdisneystudios of kpop route to come back from it, UNLESS bts being away really do take that big of a hit out of them, but then again i just know they worked those boys to death over the last year making more brainless content that they dont actually need the boys to be there for (and for which they likely wont be paid very much since hybe own their brand :/). i just hope at the very least it cleanses the fandom out a bit and that, coming back from it, they actually have a chance to do the work they want to, and that they feel dignified and fulfilled whaterver it is and whatever that looks like. and yeah totally i know they're probably bound by ndas galore but. they've said it before in the festa dinner, perhaps when things die down they can do so more clearly, because despite outright saying they were exhausted and unhappy with how things were going, ppl STILL didnt get it :/

AAAAA ANON IM SO SORRY,,,,, I STARTED WRITING THIS LAST NIGHT AND I FELL ASLEEP,,,, SO SORRY :'D,,,, HERE IT IS sorry its bad (he/they for mint)

As Mint Choco stepped into the seemingly empty bar, the smell of sugar cookies almost instantly hit him as he shut the door behind him. It was past closing, but Sparkling had told them that they were always welcome as long as the lights were on, so he didn't feel too bad about just entering as he pleased. He took a few steps in, looking at the tables with halloween patterned tablecloths draped over them and unlit black candles in the center, before it hit him Halloween was in less than a week now. Of course Sparkling's busy setting up, holidays always were a handful.

He barely even noticed the bartender getting up from his spot on the floor and coming over, holding a carving knife and an apron draped over his pajamas. "Mint," He smiled, "you're here awfully late. Forget something again?"

He went to hold his face, but quickly retracted his hand as he remembered his hands were still covered in pumpkin. "Not at all. I just wanted to see what you were doing, is all, you never leave the lights on when you leave. Whats with the knife?"

They almost giggled at his realization, cupping his cheek with a gloved hand and kissing him. The soft fizzing from the other's hair got louder as it often did when he was embarrassed, although they paid it no attention. "I always forget to set up for halloween until its too late... I'm almost done with the interior, but the outside is a different story. I have the streamers and garland for it, but I need to set those up and I still need to carve the rest of these pumpkins..." He sighed to nobody but himself, holding the hand on his cheek and unintentionally smearing orange on their glove.

"An extra hand wouldn't be too much of a bother, would it?" They offered, gently leaning his mint candy violin on the wall near the door. "If you'd want to, I'm sure I have enough supplies... But aren't you going to get your clothing dirty? I only have one other apron, even so, your gloves and sleeves will get dirty, wont they?" Sparkling gently lifted his hand off of his cheek, holding his freezing hand in their soft one.

"Oh, that doesn't matter to me, darling. Even if it does get messy, I can get the stains out. Promise." They kissed his forehead. "I wouldn't be here if I didn't want to come." Sparkling blushed just slightly. "I know, I know. You've told me plenty of times." He lead him to the spot where he was sitting, 2 dozen pumpkins sitting next to an area covered in pillows and towels and carving materials. One had been finished, and another had a knife stabbed into it. "Sit down, get comfortable, I'll get my laptop and we'll decide on a movie for some background noise." He let go of his hand and quickly rushed off to the back, where he kept most of his personal belongings.

Mint only giggled to himself as he sat down, taking off his gloves and rolling up his sleeves, removing the knife from the pumpkin as he waited for his love to return. Once he did, a laptop in hand and an apron in another, he gave the apron for them to put on as he opened up his laptop, sitting down. "Any particular recommendations? Doesn't have to be a halloween movie." He asked. "Hocus Pocus, maybe. Or any of the Child's Play movies. Whatever you want." They offered as he looked up both, deciding on one and putting it on.

"Right then. You have the other carving knife, I'll get another pumpkin. No limit to what you can or cant carve." He instructed, putting a pumpkin on their lap and taking the one with the cut in it. "You might want to empty the insides first though. Unless you don't want to, for effect, or whatever reason you might have."

They nodded a little, taking a few moments to decide what they wanted, but they couldn't stop staring at Sparkling. He way he instantly went back to focusing, the way just being around him could make the most angry people calm down, the way he so effortlessly had them wrapped around his finger without even knowing.

It only made him smile as he started working on the first pumpkin of many.

I hope the girls understand that the guys are working. I saw an ask here a while back that said Kat seems more mellow and Chill without Stas and i agree, when Stas is around its like the drinks and partying come out, even Katrina said in her live recently that Stas wants to party every night. I get its vegas, i get edc is coming up, and theyre allowing this to happen and partaking but notice how theyre chiller when its just them and shes off doing her own thing… honestly i dont think anything good can come out of this behavior in the long run if they are trying to work. Sure it cant be all work all day but based on what that girl posts its like the time doesnt matter to party, drink and go wild for her. I hope she understands that these free rides, and what not that she gets from this friendship wont last forever, and hopefully they come to the realization that while it is good to go out and not always work, the edits all day, party all night life style can only get you so far.

People will come at me i know because they dont want anyone talking about Stas unless its praise. However, im not starting a smear campaign or saying shes holding them hostage. Just pay attention to everything even what she posts and you’ll see what i mean. That statement and the one she made previously of teaching them how to drink and not being light weights rubbed me the wrong way because i strongly believe you dont need alcohol to have a good time or to exist period. She made it seem like they need to know how to properly drink or else it was shameful.

while i get thinking that snc party more since stas has came into the picture, i don't think that's the truth. snc have partied a lot in their day, especially back in 2018. when they lived in the trap house, every other day there was either a party or kickback of some type. and if not, they went to clubs (or at least colby did). and god know they were drinking and probably doing drugs at said parties.

the difference now is that they are home owners, not throwing parties in their house, but going to parties.

but even back before 2018, snc were going to parties decently often. they didn't mention it as much, but they would occasionally say "oh we went to a party the other day".

stas seems to be a rave girl of some sorts. i'm pretty sure she sometimes gets paid to go to raves/festivals and "promote" them, so to speak. if she likes partying, there is nothing wrong with that. and if she wants her friend group to join her when she does party, again, nothing wrong with that. it's probably better in the long run for her to party while she's young then to do it later in life.

snc have not fallen behind on their work. if they did, then i would agree about being concerned that there might be a problem.

and i agree she does benefit from being friends with snc and being able to go to some of these places. that being said, if snc felt like they were being used, then they wouldn't take her with them. they clearly care about her and don't see her as someone that is using them.

and i agree, you don't need alcohol to have a good time. but i also know that some ppl do; that that's the only way they let loose a bit. and that's fine, as long as it's in moderation and they aren't blacking out every night.

i'm not sure where she said those statements, but i highly doubt she was being full blown serious. she was most likely joking.

and i'm not saying all of this only bc i like stas and don't want to hear criticism. i'm just stating that snc have partied before, probably harder than we even know, and to blame all of this partying solely on stas is a little silly. they're all still very young, and snc have a lot of money to throw around. if that means going to vegas every couple months and partying (and working), why is that a bad thing? and if they want to bring their friends along, that's their choice. getting upset for them isn't gonna do anything.

if you still think stas is turning them into party animals, that's fine. i just don't agree.

i wanted your thoughts on why you think in modern society is obsessed with who has an audience and who doesnt? like why do mainly those who have an audience or following get the utmost attention both good and bad, yet someone like ourselves whos quite ordinary wouldnt be paid any attention unless we have to prove ourselves (as thats what it still feels like from school throughout adulthood) that we are having to either constantly chase someone for their attention or its people trying to garner the attention they want and i think itd got way out of hand to the point where society has lost track of themselves.

we can spend hours and days weeks or months oggling at the lives of others whilst feeling miserable that our life is not like theirs. im concerned that we are not progressing as people should be. so much is wasted babbling on whatever it might be that usually doesnt even concern the babbler themselves. why cant we separate our life from others and learn to be satisfied with where we are? its honestly so hard rn to not feel down in the dumps or behind or lost or stuck. yet someone else is always trying to outdo another being for what cause though? its just a separate lifestyle so why people got to make their own channels and put a character on? makes no sense to me.

its also not just rich and wealthy that rely on needing an audience or cult like fan base either. every other person snd their granny has to have some type of recognition and if we dont have such a thing why do we feel left out or behind in life bc theres always going to be someone younger than us, therell always be someone better than us st something or other so why does it matter at all in society how popular or how many cliques and internet groups where people have to belong somewhere or theyll be too much of an individual. if this makes any sense then please include your opinion!!

i think its such an issue nowadays with how many folk seek an audience and often at times i have caught myself feeling so inadequate or feeling miserable that im not receving much attention outside of relatives. its sad in a way that the world revolves around the way someone appears to be. and in my opinion even those who dont have a following wont amount to much bc in order to succeed nowadays people need some type of following be it online or elsewhere.

for ex the way society goes through trends faster than tissues or how people would only really be drawn to thode who are popular. if celeb dies its a big deal but if its ordinary person it gets overlooked or theyre life wasnt as significant :/

Honestly, this is a human thing rather than a nowadays thing I’ve found. We always want the things we see others having, and compare them to what we ourselves have at the moment. It’s like if you have siblings, how if you sibling got something nice you wanted something nice in turn. How people are always trying to be acknowledged and praised for everything they do. Though nowadays, with social media, this is definitely amplified by social media because we can now see all these things others are doing and want those things too. So it’s constantly people seeing others rising higher and higher and wanting to rise themselves. And frankly, we’re not evolved yet to deal with those things quite right. It’s like how 99% of people hate the way they look/are insecure. It’s because we’re not evolved to be used to seeing ourselves, as that ability is fairly new. Sure there were reflections in things like ice and water, but those aren’t clear and horribly skewed.

With celebs dying and things, it is sad that ordinary people get overlooked but also understandable. With celebs, you know at least of them, and have built a sort of parasocial relationship. With ordinary people it’s kind of like when you read history books about people who’ve been dead for hundreds of years. It’s very detached. Unless it’s truly brutal and gruesome, it just doesn’t feel the same as it would for a celebrity or someone in your life.

And again, the trends thing is very much something that’s a constant as well. Our sense of beauty is dependent on what you see the most. Trends change because you see one thing too much, and therefore you want the exact opposite. That, and it also reflects a culture’s values, predicament, etc. etc. trends changing reflect how we as a people are changing. Trends have always been rather fleeting in nature.
