Me with my ✨ chaotic hufflepuff energy ✨ on an exam day:

Waking up at 4 am because I had a nightmare that I failed the test so I study for another 2 hours

Listening to rock music during my way to uni to boost my non-existing self confidence

Either arriving 45 min or 5 min before the exam starts. There is no in-between

Having a cheat sheet but being to afraid to use it

Not knowing the answer to a question but knowing exactly where I have written it down on my summary

Trying to act like I know what I am doing when the professor looks in my direction

Forgetting how to explain things professionally so using metaphors like "laser welding has a better tolerance than WIG-welding because it is like using a pencil vs an edding text marker to colour a little triangle"

Guessing most of the answers and somehow still getting it right

"Is this answer really this easy or am I dumb?"

In the last minute spaming answers and ticking random boxes because "better writing anything than leaving it out"

"Meh, idc. Just happy I finally finished this exam"

Leaving the exam room and drinking an energy drink to not fall asleep

Going home and taking a 3h nap

Uni is scary at first and overwhelming, and I was thinking the way you where when I first went to university.

I thought I wasn't ready and I felt like I wasn't smart enough, but these thoughts didn't even last a month. I know for a fact that you are going to be okay 💞

Just make sure you study regularly and make time for yourself to relax and do something you like, and meet new friends that you share classes with, it's gonna help a lot

One thing I learned in uni is that you will never feel ready. It seems harsh, but it's the truth. That's why a lot of successful people say when they refer to a new opportunities; to jump

Your brain is always going to tell you that you are not ready but you are ready, and FYI, I've been following you for years (since the old acc got deleted) and from the way you write, and the fact that you have published books from a young age, I can tell that you are going to do great at university.

So don't stress yourself sweetheart 💞

University sure is a different life altogether, deep down I'm worried I might lose my identity and part of myself in the process. Is it really okay if you don't stand out so much? NIGHTMARES IS INCREASING...

Samuel is dealing with the horrors just fine! hes fine. just needs a lil laudanum to take the edge off. Just a little, tiny, several bottles of laudanum,

wheezes and collapses HI HELLO I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED..... THIS!!!!.... I don't know what possessed me to make this out of pixels but im v pleased with how it came out!!

At some point during Light Fingers I finally grabbed some laudanum to help with nightmares before some zee trip or other, and discovered that once you're Important, taking laudanum gives you "A Less Than Laudable Laudanum Habit" and that the initial, normal result is locked once your habit gets over level three. Naturally, I HAD TO KNOW.... WHAT HAPPENED AT OTHER LEVELS.....

I'd also decided to finally do the rest of the Watchful MYN at University, which I'd already heard about from several friends as a place where you are constantly going insane from the mundane stress of just, like, uncooperative witnesses while trying to solve a murder. The timing ended up perfect -- Samuel just coming back from the horrors of the Orphanage in Light Fingers and Trying To Be Normal And Hold Down A Normal Job For A Bit, and maybe just a lil laudanum to keep it together for class, and when withdrawal is ratcheting up everything, some annoyances like "can't find info for your murder investigation" might just tip you over the edge,

hilariously he hit level 8 on the laudanum habit -- helpfully labelled "a wretched slave to the hellish stuff" and the point where it stops working altogether -- IMMEDIATELY before running into a step of light fingers where you have to get rid of all your nightmares before you can proceed. HAHA OOPS.

ANYWAY HE STILL HAS IT BECAUSE IT TURNS OUT, IT TAKES A REALLY REALLY LONG TIME, TO KICK A LAUDANUM HABIT...... i, uh, dont recommend giving urself a laudanum addiction but narratively im having a great time lmao

Holy heck Feb - March this year has been painful. I know March isn't close to being over yet; but so much shit has happened in the short time between those 2 months.

I've started 2nd year of my Medical Science degree.

Work stresses and bullying and bullshit to go through.

Serious allegations being leveled at me and the process is taking over a month already to sort out.

My suicidal urges have blown into the stratosphere.

I'm 32 on April 1st.

I don't believe I'll get there at this rate.

I want. Four to get appreciation. Because

Four gave a ton of unnoticed help when Twilight was injured

The fight with Wild was difficult, and I know we're all concerned about his negative view of the shadow crystal

But Four did something that no one else really thought of to help- He took care of Twi's stuff

From the beginning he told Twilight to not worry about them

So Four took care of pretty much everything but the others (that Sky and Wars handled)

He took care of Epona

Which is so very important- he took care of Twilight's horse. After her arrival at the stable Four followed up on her

And for Epona, a horse so attached to her human, having some company can help so much for reassurance

He took care of Twilight's stuff

He got Twi's shield- his bags and equipment, and organized it into one place

And he was worried. He obviously found the shadow crystal while handling Twi's stuff, but his negative reactions to it were out of concern.

Also- because of his placement in this scene

I'm fairly convinced Four was ready to start cooking before Wild showed up (since he's beside the counter with food supplies). At the very least he had the basket of fruit out for everyone -but he was literally standing with food behind him- he thought of everything

And he did housekeeping!

Wars payed for the inn, so Four took care of the inn

Realistically these boys were probably not too concerned with tidyness. Four got all of Twi's things on one table, and took care of the room they stayed in

Organizing tables and Twi's things, having food supplies ready, and opening the curtains- overall he was the one tidying up the inn

Four helped in a huge way! He took care of Twi's horse (Epona is so important), his equipment and shield and bag, as well as the other rooms in the inn

Four filled in all the little tasks that others didn't think of. He helped in ways that were needed, but not obvious

There's a lot of problems with the shadow crystal and with Wild, and I don't know what's gonna happen in the future

But don't forget this- don't forget that Four was one who stepped up in an almost unnoticeable way

Don't forget that when everyone was barely holding it together, Four visited Twilight's horse and took care of his things

No matter what develops in the future- this amount of care shown is important ya know?

I'm bad at math, but is Bruce theoretically 38 years old when he goes into the time stream?

Hear me out (and canon likes to fluncate their ages, so this is my best guess without trying to account for birthdays):

Bruce becomes the legal guardian of 9 year old Dick when he's 23. That's a 14 year difference.

Jason becomes Robin when Dick leaves at 18. Jason is 13. That's a five year difference.

Jason dies at 15, and Tim becomes Robin at 13. That's a two year difference.

The age difference between Tim and Bruce would thus be 21 years.

Tim becomes Red Robin to find Bruce at 17.

That means that Bruce had to be 38, right? Why was I imagining him closer to 50?

Adopting so many kids must have aged him
