The circle is unbroken.
The circle is without an ending.
Love accepts.
Love is unconditional.

Remain in the world, act in the world, do whatsoever is needful, and yet remain transcendental, detached, a lotus flower in the pond.

Conditional
It’s easy to trust God.
When you and I can see how things are going to work out. When we have what we think we need. When we can see the plan – step A, step B, step C. That doesn’t take much faith.
But what about when you and I can’t see how things are going to work out? When we don’t have what we think we need? When we can’t see the plan?
That’s a lot harder. Too often, when we’re faced with that, we get discouraged. We get upset.
We think things like, “God, what’s happening? I’m scared. I can’t see what you’re doing right now.”
There’s nothing wrong with venting to God. Sometimes we need to. As human beings, we’re not always able to see the big picture. You and I aren’t going to understand everything.
When that happens, there’s no one better for us to go with our worries, with our fears than God.
But there’s a danger when we get discouraged. When we get upset, we can easily slide into things like, “God, why aren’t you doing something about this? This isn’t happening like it’s supposed to. God, why haven’t you fixed this already?”
Now, we’re not venting anymore. We’re telling God what to do. Whether we mean to or not – we’re telling God we won’t be happy. We’re not going to trust Him. Until He does it our way.
What we’re really saying is that our faith, our trust, is conditional. Conditional on getting our way.
One of the problems with conditional trust (and there are a lot of them) is that there will always be things that you and I don’t understand.
Things that don’t work out the way we wanted them to. Things that don’t happen fast enough. Prayers that aren’t answered our way.
If our trust in God is conditional, then we’re going to spend most of our time upset and discouraged. Because the person that we’re really trusting isn’t God. It’s us.
We’re trusting someone who, if we’re honest, is horrifyingly effective at letting us down. At falling short. At not meeting our needs. Someone who has done this to us for years.
And every time we do, we set ourselves up to be disappointed. Again.
So what’s the alternative to setting ourselves up like that?
Follow the call, like we see in today’s Gospel, to trust God for our needs. And to trust Him unconditionally.
To let go of needing to know how things are going to work out. To let go of trying to see around the corners.
To tell God what we think we need. And then to let go of our list, of our “have-to’s.”
To take the pressure off, by letting God be in control.
It’s a call back to Isaiah. Where God says “My ways are higher than your ways, My thoughts are higher than your thoughts.”
And a challenge. To not just say the words. But to live the truth of those words. That’s God’s ways are higher than our ways. That we’re not always going to understand what God is doing.
It’s not always easy. To have that kind of faith. To trust that God provides.
But the simple truth is that God always does. Even when we can’t see how.

In the vast expanse of the digital realm, where thoughts dance like restless spirits, like a caged bird yearning to break free, Where ideas soar like migratory birds, and knowledge takes flight, like a hand scribbling words, without ink, so glee, The uploads and downloads, a ceaseless flow, a constant journey, across the boundless virtual sea.
Where do they originate, these digital streams, these torrents of consciousness, these ephemeral gleams? And where do they arrive, these bits of light, these fragments of thought, in the depths of the night? What purpose do they serve, these digital streams, these fleeting moments, caught in virtual dreams? Are they but echoes, reflecting our inner core, or vessels of wisdom, a treasure to explore?
In this emptiness of the vessel, where thoughts reside, where ideas blossom, and knowledge takes pride, lies a question lingering, a paradox to behold, why are these thoughts caged, their potential untold? Like a caged bird, longing to break free, or a hand scribbling words, without ink, so glee, these thoughts, these ideas, they yearn to escape, to break free from the digital cage, and make their own shape.
Would they rather be paid in gold flakes, so fine, or in pieces of paper, stripped from a tree's twine, and turned into art, a masterpiece to behold, or simply set free, their stories to unfold? The choice is theirs, to remain or to roam, to bask in the light of the digital dome, or to take flight, like birds from their cage, and venture into the vastness, a story to engage.

This is written for the prompt ‘unconditional’ from @drarrymicrofic
Word count: 134
Drarry microfic: without conditions
Cw: mention of infidelity (but not between Harry & Draco)
“What happened to the unconditional love bit?” Astoria’s voice broke on the last words, her tears leaving dark stripes of mascara behind on her cheeks. “Didn’t we vow to each other to love unconditionally?”
Draco sighed deeply, running his hand through his hair. Though his wife was still standing in front of him, his thoughts were already with someone else. Someone with vibrant green eyes and hair so unruly it looked to be done on purpose. Someone he could love unconditionally. And that someone was currently waiting for him outside.
“I’m sorry, Astoria,” Draco said, his voice low and even. “This marriage has never been without conditions.” He paused, rolling the words he was about to say on his tongue. “It has never been my idea to get married to you to begin with.”
Prompt from October 11th

It's all Love, babes.
You and me and the spaces in between, I wonder and think on the musings of humanity. Of love and hatred and war and unconditionality.
On why's and how's and who's.
On how we can ALL find ourselves, choose to grow, to be more. How we can learn to be grateful to those biggest of monsters that we believe are against us. Of how truly, the only way out is through.
I think on how facing my fears, accepting my darkest of parts, down to the capacity to wish severe harm on those who have done myself and my loved ones wrong (spoiler: I still wish on them nothing but healing and growth, because I've seen the brightness inside them and I know they can find it too)
Anyways. I love you. I hope you're having an amazing day, that you hear a song that speaks to your heart, that you take the next obstacle as an opportunity to release and become ever stronger than before. I hope we all wake up to the knowledge that we're all part of the same family, that we are all in this together at the end of the day, that we learn to love more unconditionally and True-ly.
You've got this, dear one. Keep going. You are loved and lovely all in the same.
