The person's lips press together in contemplation — then, his face lights up momentarily as he gestures to the rows of books. His other hand was busy writing down something on parchment, which he shows to the woman after it was done: ' I am certainly interested in learning more, it has been some time and I do need to brush up on my laws. '
Unprompted Asks // Always Accepting!
There was a fleeting moment of silence as Yanfei read over the neat writing carefully before gasping softly. They were interested in what she had to say? She could hardly contained her excitement as she gestured them to stay put, nearly tripping over her own two feet in a scramble to pull books off the shelves. Let's see... 'The General Law of Liyue' was a must for any one getting familiar with the laws and in would be criminal not to present them with a few of her favorites.
By the time she was content with the selection of novels, there were at least ten large tomes stacked in a neat pile in front of them. "Oh I'm so excited to share these with you! Trust me, there is never a dull moment when it comes to studying the law and new knowledge is always worth the endeavor! You can return them at anytime-- actually just keep these! Granny says I'm hoarding books anyways... which isn't true!" Yanfei chattered away aimless while wiping the dust off a few of the older covers. Many of her books remained untouched after she had memorized them.
"Also..." Her rambling came to an unabrupt end as she rested her hands against her hips "...is there any chance you know sign language? It's something I'm well versed in and if it's your preferred way of communication, I'm happy to oblige."

A/N: HHEHHEHE I don't know what to call it- somebody help me with these compulsory titles kkkk
The light that spirals around the room is turned off with a laugh, a soft one. So softly it resonates from your partner's beaming eyes and hearty sound that it makes you happy to see them in the like.
To them, happiness is vague. From an awards show where the speech is the final recipient, the exact quote derived confuses the tiny minds. For whom, happiness was a pity, waiting to befall them only when it had just struck.
Not happy here, or there and then they couldn't be happy anywhere. It was a fight for them to walk back with shaky knees and fatigued, deprived of the ultimate gain till the very end. They had made it, what the tear-jerking individuals online called: freedom.
That's how they sent their support. You always thought that if there wasn't a good comment to find, then the search hadn't been carried hard enough. It reminded you of something but you found it hard to put the already complicated situation into words.
They barrel onto the bed while you fling squeals of curses out of your mouth. Said while laughing, it's hard for them to hold in their laughter. So, you climb. On top of them arrives the spontaneous and perhaps unexpected sensation of tickling fingers.
It brings laughter and questioning remarks but overall laughter. Compared to then, it's been a lot better; you can't stop thinking about the progression, overcoming of drama, so on and so forth. They've opened up a lot more.
As you stop tickling, a story comes to their mind and they begin, asking you if your remember. Do you? Of course you do. The way they tell their stories has you shaking your head to a particular, otherwise peculiar groove or rhythm or beat.
You are recounting, smiling and giggling, roaming your hands on familiarity, comforting treasure, unabrupt stops of beauty behind the beauty. Drawing in from nothing, they build it up, like the music they make, dancing like they do.

Prologue:
A vast flat expanse stretched unabrupted for as far as your eyes could strain. The dry sky had not a single cloud or creature roaming its domain as even the plants had abandoned this accursed earth leaving only big crystals of salt all along the land. The only thing in the sky, a blearing white hot sun burning overhead. Pouring an incredible blast of heat upon the salt flats as you slowly pan behind and finally see only one figure amongst the radiating heat waves. Undistinguishable at first then after some time, softly yet steadily crunching through the salt in big heavy boots, came the tall but slender build of a man robed in a flowing sand colored canvas cloth all the way down to his feet. His face obscured by a mask which was connected with three tubes that ran down his chest and along both sides of his shoulders all connecting into a strange canister strapped to his back. He slightly hunched forward as he walked to counter balance the heft on his back as his fingerless worn gloves gripped the straps on his shoulders. The edges of the cloth that wrapped his entire body were threadbare and his goggles had just enough dust rubbed off to see generally where one was going. He was just as quiet as the world around him, not a single puff of wind or stirring of the salt. Just the steady soft crunch of salt under tread as his strides through this forsaken land continued uninterrupted. After a long time of this rhythmic progression, he finally stops and looks up before reaching with calloused scabby fingers for a black oblong box from a pouch on his waist. His thumb presses down on a silver button on its flat side and suddenly a little cartridge springs forth from its center filled with some viscous gold material. He clicks open a round shutter port on his mask and inserts the cartridge. Watching the cartridge drain like a needle with it plunger being pushed, the cartridge completely emptied and the man stood there as mist started to escape from little crevices under his robe here and there until finally a huge plume of steam shot out from his mask’s other shutter ports on the other side of his face. After which he pulled the spent cartridge and clicked the silver button again which dropped gold tipped cartridge to the barren salt. He slipped the box to another pouch and with an audible click he pulled the box out with a new cartridge installed and pushed it down back into the box before sliding it back into his pocket. He then closed the shuttered ports on his mask with a toggle switch that was located on his chest under the brown robes and without missing a beat started to move on, the soft crunch of salt under tread as the faceless man pushed on through the blazing sun.

This might be ridiculous to ask, but here goes - Adopted a cat last month, one-year old female. Not neutered. She's usually pretty quiet, unless she knows food is on the way.About two days ago she started getting really vocal, almost howling at times. So that's sign 1, nothing unusual there. She's a little more affectionate, so sign 2. She prowls around a lot, stares out the windows, so that's sign 3. She's basically exhibiting the major signs of being in heat, except for the ever classic "crawling on the floor with her butt in the air". So, first of all, that's throwing me off a bit. That's missing. And, the other big thing throwing me off is it's all very irregular. By that I mean she'll go yowling for an hour, then be quiet for a bit, maybe fall asleep. Then she'll wake up and start back at it again. Sometimes she doesn't exhibit these behaviorisms at all for a while and then randomly starts again. In my experience with cats, they'll generally go pretty much unabrupted, save for when they sleep. This morning in particular she's been pretty quiet again, a little yowly but not nearly as much as she was during the night. At first I figured it might just be attention-seeking, but I'm not so sure. If I give her attention she'll generally not really want it, and walks off within a few seconds of getting her scritches. Part of me wonders if she's sick or stressed, but I can't really see any signs of illness. Her nose changed from dark pink to kinda bright and faded pink yesterday but it went back after a few hours. Some background on me though, So I don't seem like a complete dolt: Grew up with cats all my life, not a stranger to kittens. Never had a female cat, however, and never had a cat that wasn't neutered. That said I've seen cats in heat so the telltale signs match with what I'm used too, just not 100%.I've booked an appointmed with a vet next week either way to get her fixed. Better safe than sorry. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ via /r/cats
