Rewatching tua season 2 and at the end, when Dave is getting on the bus the officer calls him "Marine". In the original timeline Dave and Klaus weren't on the Marines, so that means Dave didn't die when/where he did originally, which also means that he never served with Klaus in the Sparrow timeline.
