basically i operate on a behemoth custom PC tower rig that was cobbled together and blasted with magic from a planetary alignment over a decade ago, it still runs windows 7 like a dream and still faces virtually no issues besides "i'm finally running out of memory for all the fuckton of art n writing i do", use firefox as my default browser (have since moving off IE, i wasn't even aware firefox was uncommon as a pick when its so much better than basically every other option) with ublock and all that good shit so ads and trackers and algorithm data collecting struggles to pierce my grandfather claused digital turtle shell
so whenever i use internet on mobile/my phone i get exposed to The Young(er) People's Internet and try to keep it as expedient as possible. it is SO bad. i'm really feeling the tragedy of "every era has huge issues but people barely even a decade younger than me never even got to experience the internet before it become objectively enshittened down to its bones of design by the capitalisms" and it suuuuucks
mobile design overtaking to the point of infecting/breaking PC browser design is high on my Don't Like It list
In keeping with the vaunted elder scrolls tradition, I am now rereleasing my seminal summerfest 2021 work Aleshut Annales on a new platform to be enjoyed by a new generation of the same exact people as before
has there been any meta for the symbol behind the text in this opening shot?
my first instinct is that it's symbols for the dusk/dawn dragon, and then maybe for the wind/fire tribes...
but then ... you never see those anywhere in the game ever again, even with the dusk/dawn dragon's specific crests (thinking of the dragon veins)?
and if it *was* about the dragons then they're not exactly accurate considering you have the astral dragons (moro), silent dragon, whatever the rainbow sage was, etc...
