walks into the bunker well that sucks I gotta go back out there I can’t just leave this alone!

Walking down the bunker stairs, behind the others, collapsing into a chair at the map table, I drop my satchel on the floor.

thinking to myself for a moment I look around at the others…knowing how strong they were it had to be more but why take Sam?? Do you think maybe…he’s what they wanted all along? Maybe the whole thing was an elaborate trap?!

Damnit char thumping my fist off the wall no Sammy’s too damn smart to fall for something like that we all are!

I look at Dean, “Yes, Sam is smart, but Baal is ancient. We did just what he wanted us to.”

nodding I think we played right into his hand….

As I come back to consciousness, I find that my arms and legs are secured to a chair. Looking around nothing is familiar, and I have no idea where I am. From outside the only door in the room, I can overhear two people talking and recognize the name Baal. Straining to listen to their conversation, my blood runs cold at what I now know is coming my way.

Baal

standing in an unknown room somewhere, with his legions of demons surrounding him he begins to chant

Watches the big guy enter the room Don't suppose you've come to let me go, have you?

Dean

My fun little pet have I got a fun game in store for you... First tell me what I need to know and this will be over quickly. Book of the damned where is it?

Sam

No idea what you're talking about... knock yourself out, you’re going to end up disappointed. I’ve spent time inside a cage with over-bored Archangels. There’s nothing you can do to me that hasn’t already been done… and by someone way more motivated than you.

Dean

I start slowly using telepathy and make you feel as if you are having a heart attack shooting pain through your chest

Sam

Surprise at an instant mental intrusion that I wasn’t expecting, sent my heart instantly racing in what felt like a full blow panic attack, or heart attack. Pain squeezed my chest like a vice. After a second, I was able to find, inside myself, the mental barriers that I’d learned and put into practice against Michael and Lucifer. I hoped they would be enough.

inside your mind you see every one of those you care about being slowly tortured extremely gruesome images going through your mind while i get inside your little head and past your barriers

Sam

Witnessing pain inflicted on those I love is worse than actual pain to myself. Yelling as loudly as I can inside my own head, it’s not real, It's not real, It's not real only helped a fraction.

Dean

images of Dean’s insides being pulled from his body as he lays there with a cold dead stare looking back at you with blood and organs laying on the ground around his body, ruby... Visions of her being stabbed with the demon blade and lighting up turning to ash her screams also filling your mind. Charlie once again her mutilated body soaked in blood another cold blank stare looking back at you

Sam

Tears running down my face, I shake my head violently back and forth trying to get some kind of control back.

Imhotep

I start working some of my old Egyptian magic making one of the 10 plagues work, you suddenly feel pain and movement under the flesh of your chest

Sam

Instantly I could feel the painful stretching of my stomach and the movement of things underneath my skin, writhing and biting. Just as when it felt my stomach might just burst, I was overcome with the worst nausea of my life. Unable to lean forward because of my expanded girth, I twisted to the left and began to vomit copious amounts of living locusts.

Dean

watching my work as the locusts empty your body by the thousands, I start to walk away and come back oh I forgot one minor detail as I now have the other information I needed... I walk back to you and take a blade slicing your wrist halfway up your arm slowly as I catch your blood in a chalice thank you so much for your wonderful cooperation

Sam

The slashing of my wrist didn’t even produce a grimace on my part, all physical sensation in my body was numbed from the mental battle I was in.

Dean

Awww I was hoping for a little more out of you on that one taking the blade down your chest digging it in a bit harder

Sam

Coughing out the last of the locust and watching with open eyes as they slowly fade. I'm Panting once I’m released from the mental torture, I struggle to sit up to my full height. This asshole may well have stolen whatever information he needed from my mind, but I pulled strength from the fact that I’d held on and didn’t willingly reveal anything. He had to work for anything he got.  Ohhhh, better not forget to do exactly what your MASTER wants, huh Baldy? Be an obedient Monster or you’ll be the one he visits with Vaseline and a fire hose.

Dean

You and all your little friends are fools! I got exactly what I needed without a fight the torture was just for pure pleasure but I dont like being challenged! Without warning my anger builds and I take a swing quickly knocking you out with a violent blow to the head

Baal

We didn’t LOSE him! De- cut off by the voice coming out of Ruby I turn and listen BAAL! NO! I WANT MY BROTHER BACK NOW YOU DUMB SON OF A BITCH!

Ruby

My head begins to fall forward and clear. Raising it, I blink a few times, realizing I’ve zoned out for a bit. Looking around I see everyone looking at me.  “What happened?”

Henry

I don’t know Ruby

Gabe

That was crazy, it was like you had a nicer more personable personality inside you shrugs who knew.

Ruby

Giving him a look of surprise, I answer, “What the hell are you talking about?”

Dean

Gabe

I didn’t fight being released from the chair and tried to move slowly to give off a docile and broken appearance. All the while looking for any chance that I could take to escape.

I watch as the prisoner is loaded and wait for Imhotep to get in the car

I pop open the trunk holding onto you and I throw you in the trunk slamming the door on your head whoops. gets in the passenger seat

I pack up my duffle and hear out to the impala throwing my duffle in the trunk and get in and start it waiting for whoever is riding with me

I grab my satchel and head out, reminding them to not forget the book and key

Not understanding why Imhotep would think that I am his wife, I forget to watch my back. A demon jumps me from behind and I am knocked to the ground.

Charlie

demons start coming in from all sides

throws my dagger using telekinesis

Ruby

Quickly getting to my feet, I pull out my curved blades and begin to slice and dice

Dean

begins shooting at demons with one hand and swinging my blade with the other

(3 demons surround ruby, 2 grabbing her arms while the third lays continuous blows to her stomach)

Sam

It was Hell on Earth being able to do nothing while demons attacked the people that I loved. This wasn’t just a fake mental image; it was the real thing and worse than torture. I’d already seen Ruby taken down and now it seemed I might lose more of them. I continue to struggle and try to break free without success.

(four demons come around surrounding Dean and hold him with a blade to his throat)

Gabe

shaking my head  have it your way looking to Donna ready gorgeous?

Ruby

Using my telekinesis, I push them back and continue to cut my way through

(7-8 more demons come out, three taking Alex down to the ground)

Gabe

both blades out I rush for ihop swinging my blades at his head

Dean

I get pinned as my gun falls I struggle to fight them off me

Henry

using telekinesis, I stab as many demons I can with my dagger

Alex

Bear look and kick and they knock me down and roar

Ruby

I see Alex taken down. Stepping on one demon, I propel myself over to her side and stab two with my blades

Charlie

the demons keep coming until there are so many you can’t see your team mates

Imhetop

I duck under you avoiding your blades and turn and kick at you, using Egyptian magic I attempt to inflict internal pain on you

(5 demons take Ruby down on her way to Alex)

Henry

Guys I can’t see there’s to many of them  stops fighting and looks around

Ruby

Continuing to slash and stab, I take out as many as I can. I'm suddenly grabbed by 5 demons at once. I struggle to break free

Baal

in the midst of the chaos unseen I sneak in and manage to grab the key from the kid, then go back out and watch for the book

(more demons come in and keep attacking until suddenly they all vanish—-Imhotep along with them)

Ruby

Using my energy, I gather up a large ball of it and send it outward, knocking the demons flat

Alex

Bear fight and kick and back flip kill demon

Gabe

bendy back like neo dodging a bucket I slap your foot out of the way and vanish as you throw magic my way

Ruby

Suddenly it's quiet. On my back, I look around, seeing no demons

Gabe

appearing behind I grab him slamming him against the wall hard

Dean

suddenly am released as the demons are suddenly gone

(Imhotep suddenly vanishes with Baal)

Alex

turn back normal groan took a deep breath

Donna

I follow beside my husband protecting form any nearby threats

Alex

Look over and run SAM! run to Sam Sam!

Gabe

Hey! I wasn’t done with you, you coward !

Henry

runs to Sam

Ruby

Catching my breath, I slide my blades back into their holders and stand up.

Donna

Fucking chickens!!!!

Dean

walks over to Gabe dont worry this isn’t over we may have Sam but there’s more to all of this

Sam

Sags to the ground when they all vanish, now that it's over I can let my defenses down.

Henry

starts to get Sam lose

Dean

Hey henry need help with those chains??

Donna

Babe… I place a hand on your chest! we’ll get him! We always do! raises an evil eyebrow!

Ruby

Looking around, I don't see the demons or Imhotep. “Why would he call me that? I murmur. “He had to have a reason.”

Gabe

Fuck it I’m going after him seeing red both of them I’m going to put their ugly demon heads on pikes and warn everyone that fucking with our team is a death sentence , they want a vengeful god , THEY FUCKING GOT IT ! lightning crashes and the wind howl the building shaking with my rage

Alex

Sammmmmm! Wake up Shaking walking him up

Sam

I'm awake Alex, I'm good

Dean

We should get Sam back to the bunker and make sure he’s ok

Henry

Dean, no listen… listen to me. I overheard Baal talking to his henchman and I was able to see a little bit into his mind when he was trying to look around inside mine… It’s bad Dean… I hold up a shaking hand and count off on my fingers One: Baal has the Book of the Dead. Ketch was right, he did steal it from the museum. Two: He has Lucifer’s Feather from the New Orleans Bunker. Three: He just now took hold of the Key to the Book of the Dead. Four: He needed the blood of a human altered by demons… I’m ashamed to admit it, that needed to come from yours truly and it’s the real reason I was taken. He has that now too… the fifth and only thing left that he needs, is the Book of the Damned…

Ruby

Listening to Sam tell us what he knows and thinking of the history I know of ancient magic, I add up the pieces of the puzzle. A chill runs throughout my body. “Guys, putting this all together, I think I know what Baal’s up to. If he gets hold of the Book of the Damned, he will be as powerful as a God.”

Donna

Yes. Let’s get Sam back to the bunker, Charlie can check out his wounds and Sam can tell us more about what he knows! Okay!

1. Everyone comes filing back into the bunker with Charlie taking a mental roll call, not seeing Sam she’s alarmed and asks the team what happened. Ruby says she was too late. Dean tells her it wasn’t just on her. Alex and Henry agree and they sit down to tell Charlie what they’ve learned so far. Charlie says it sounds like they had walked into a trap, and maybe Sam was what they were after all along.  Dean gets annoyed and says he is smarter than that, Ruby says while she doesn’t deny his smarts—-Baal is ancient and likely did get one over on them. Alex swears and Henry asks what they do next.

2. Ruby says she will make a short trip to hell, to see if she can get any more information. Alex says that is too dangerous and Henry tells Ruby that they can’t lose her too. Dean makes a remark to ruby about how they aren’t usually friendly, but this was for Sam-and for Sam’s sake they needed to keep her safe. Ruby is a little surprised at the compassion she’s being shown and asks the team if they have any ideas. Charlie says she may have a place to start. Gabe and Donna show up, everyone breathes a sigh of relief and thanks them. Donna says she had a feeling something was up, things had been pretty quiet in regard to communication from the team. Ruby says they’ve been a little busy. Gabe asks what has her upset and Henry and Alex share what is going on, with dean and ruby filling in the blanks.

3. Baal summons one of the ancient pharaohs of Egypt to guard Sam. Before he sends the guard in they have a conversation about the last items Baal will need to complete the spell. Sam overhears and though he knows what is to come, he doesn’t plan on revealing any information. The guard is able to get into his mind and finds the location of the book of the damned. He begins his torture and enjoys every second, with Sam gritting his teeth and not giving in.

4. Imhotep is torturing Sam. He is battered and bruised, Imhotep remarks he almost forgot what the master asked for, he cuts Sam’s wrist and fills a pewter chalice with blood.  Sam knowing what it is for, challenges Imhotep, even seated Sam is nearly as tall as his “guard” and doesn’t fear showing him a bit of attitude. Imhotep isn’t used to being challenged so he violently hits Sam, knocking him out.  Baal enters and asks if Imhotep got what he needed, Imhotep agrees and Baal says it’s time.

5. Back at the bunker Charlie turns around her laptop with a very clear signal of Sam’s location. Henry says that’s almost too easy, Alex agrees saying nothing is ever that easy for this team. Charlie sighs and asks if they think this is another trap. Dean makes a rude comment about how Charlie is SUPPOSED to be a genius. Charlie gets defensive and suddenly ruby begins to speak in a voice that is not her own. Everyone is shocked- but the voice tells them he has Sam and is willing to make a trade, for the book of the damned. Dean figures out it is Baal and starts to tell him off, demanding his brother back, when ruby starts to blink and asks what happened. Gabe makes a remark about ruby not quite being herself and Donna tells him to be serious for a moment. Gabe retorts but then asks who he’s talking to.

6. Dean takes a step back, but hits the table in frustration. Henry tries to calm him and Alex goes to check on ruby. Donna asks Gabe how that was possible and Gabe explains that Baal was originally an angel, he was using a twisted form of angel radio.  Donna says a fallen angel doesn’t sound like a pleasant enemy. Ruby agrees saying she’s heard of what Baal is capable of. Charlie tells them whatever he is up to, is meant to make him stronger. Gabe says he can’t let that happen.  Donna asks what he’s going to do and he simply says stop him. Dean asks what about Sam, Donna says that they can’t lose him after all he’s done for the team. Alex agrees. Gabe promises Sam’s safety.

7. Imhotep unchains Sam from the chair and leads him out of the room. He and Baal throw Sam into the back of a black car and drive towards the meeting place. Baal asks Imhotep if he’s ready to face god and his wife. Imhotep says he was born ready.   meanwhile the team packs up and they take the impala and Henry’s car to meet up with Baal to get Sam back. Gabe tells the team to be ready as Baal was smarter than some of the others they’d faced in the past. Donna says he hadn’t met team free will yet. Dean says he’s ready to get his brother. Henry and Alex say they’re ready to go. Ruby reminds them of what Baal Wanted (the book of the damned and the key for the book of the dead) dean takes the book and entrusts the key to Henry. They get into the cars and drive off.

8. When they arrive at the location, (an old government warehouse for transportation vehicles-snow plows etc) there isn’t much to be seen. Donna says she doesn’t like the feel of this. Ruby agrees with her and says they should stick together. Dean says he couldn’t agree more. Alex and Henry follow behind watching for any hidden dangers. Just as they walk inside they see Sam who instantly warns them to run. Gabe says he isn’t leaving him behind, everyone else agrees. Imhotep greets them with an evil smile and asks if they’re ready to make a trade. Sam is against it and dean says Sam needs to let them take care of him. Gabe says he will lead the fight.

9. Imhotep asks if they’ve brought the book and the key. Donna assured him they have, but they wanted Sam first. Imhotep makes a remark about trust and ruby snorts asking how they’re supposed to trust someone that was dead yesterday. Henry stands close to dean ready to use his telekinesis, thankful there were lots of old parts lying around to throw. Gabe tells Imhotep to release Sam, Imhotep says it won’t be that simple, he notices ruby and makes a threat to her thinking she is Ankhesenamun- ruby is taken aback and due to the distraction is taken down by a demon that comes behind her. Gabe tells him to have it his way. Hordes of demons fill the room and attack the team, while Gabe and Donna right Imhotep. Henry is taken down and Baal gets his hands on the key to the book of the dead and vanishes along with the demons leaving Sam behind. Gabe snarls and says he wasn’t finished yet as Imhotep vanishes from his grasp.

10. Henry and Alex rush to Sam’s side, and work to free him from his chains. Donna is calming Gabe down, and ruby is still fixed on the name he called her.  Dean says they should get Sam back to the bunker and tend to his wounds. Ruby agrees and Donna says maybe Charlie should have a look at him while he fills us in on what Baal is really up to.

“One in the same,” Javier said. He didn’t really like to talk about his time in Colombia.

In fact, Kaitlyn avoided the subject altogether.

“How do you know Katy?” Morgan asked, ever the big brother.

“We met when I was down in Colombia,” Kaitlyn explained, “I was on vacation and Javi here saved me from being shot. We’ve stayed in touch ever since.”

“You were almost shot?” Spencer asked.

“Uh, yeah. Guess some of the cartel guys heard an FBI agent was down there and decided to try and kill me. You know, the usual stuff.” Kaitlyn said it so nonchalantly that it worried Hotch. She did the same thing when it came to close encounters on the job.

“Reid, if you have to ask that question then you don’t know me very well.”

“It’s just…you two seemed pretty close.”

“And we are. Spencer, Javi is just the Mexican version of Morgan.”
