hi!!! i just wanna say i looove the way u draw flowey. ive been an undertale fan since like early 2016 or so, and he's always been my favorite character. i think you really really capture his general demeanor in ur fanart!! specifically i really love the little fang you give him. it calls to mind asriel in a really good way, nevermind just being a really cute detail. your flowey design in general just captures asriel in a way that i think is really well done and unique. and he also somehow really feels like a kid? which i imagine isn't simple to do one way or another when he's a flower, so i really respect it!!

It starts with a trill, high pitched and echoing through the alleys…

Bruce hears it first, head snapping up and turning, surprising himself and the others at the low rumble that escapes him…an answering call he himself was unaware he knew…

A second of silence that seems to stretch forever before the trill comes answers back, curious…cautious…

‘Hello? Friend?’

Dick is next, a laughing bark that ends with a happy whistle, the sound twirling with the twinkling bells of Stephanie's excited clicks.

‘Friend! Yes!’

The trill is closer now, excited and bouncing off the cold brick walls…only pausing at the sound as Jason’s guttural mechanical growls snapped with offensive heat, backed up by Damian's defensive hiss that still holds the sputtering of a kitten.

Cass’s snapping of her fingers brings them to heel, the sound closer to the thump of a heartbeat drowned in water.

They wait…wondering if the other two succeeded in chasing off a potential friendly…

Bruce rumbles again, strong and deep, soothing as it rolls over the others in a encompassing warmth, the visitor is a child…and whatever has taken over them knows it and reaches through the veil of their humanity to call out to the wayward soul.

‘Safe, come.’

Seconds stretch by…then…an outline of a small body fizzles and slithers out from the shadows, solidifying in a haze of static. Bright swirling green in too big of eyes and a stretching smile with sharp teeth, head tilted in curiosity but held as though the neck had been broken.

His trill answers once more, echoing through their bones, ‘Oh, hello!’

There is no fear…no sudden need to protect themselves, something deep down recognized the being before them as like…

At once, they all chatter and clack, inhuman clicks, hisses laced with excitement as they surround the newcomer. Questions tumbling out in the forms of beats and whistles, answers crowed in gurgles and static.

Tim…Tim…just stands pushed up against the wall as though it would protect him, eyes bouncing from each of his family members as the noises escape them…

He doesn’t understand what’s going on…what is happening…and whatever it is that they are doing…it hurts…it hurts his head as he tries to understand them but…the sounds pound in his head, the pain spreading like webs throughout his body…

Why can he not understand his family?
