First of all, I wanna say your game is SO SO SO GOOD. The world you created was like a magical little reservoir I didn’t want to escape from. And even though it’s a demo, I’m already emotionally attached to Mychael and would literally die for him. He’s THAT precious to me!

There’s these two songs, If I Were and Same But Different, both by Vashti Bunyan, that not only encapsulates the whole energy of the game to me but also Mychael’s essence as well - the whimsical, fairytale vibes with an everlasting tragic melancholy forever looming in the background.

:O oh my goodness, thank you sm for the ask! This is an easy one - IT'S MY SON, MY BOY, MY SWEET CHILD 2012 RAPHAEL!! I love all Raphs, but 2012 has a special place in my heart. I would kill for him, I would die for him, I would torture and project onto him in my fics

His personality, especially his humor and attitude and bluntness, his fierce, protective love for his brothers, his love of animals, the fact that he's the most sensitive and emotional of his brothers and struggles with his emotions a lot, which manifests often as anger/irritation/defensiveness... I just. Love him so much.

thank you!! it's great:DD my journey has been... surprisingly steady so far. whilst writing the entire first draft, I might have taken... a couple of weeks off in the middle of it? otherwise, I'd managed to keep up a very steady and consistent pace :v I cannot emphasize enough how unusual that is for me lol. honestly, that's part of the reason why I'm feeling so optimistic about this story. it just Speaks to me on a level unlike any other I've written, so I can't help but feel optimistic haha

this was also the first time I tried documenting my journey by keeping a writing journal. I've made around 40 entries this year, which isn't all that much, but still good! and I definitely recommend other people do this, too. It's very fun and interesting to look back on what you were working at a given time, how you were feeling about it, how those feelings changed, etc. I definitely plan on doing the same with my future projects:D

in terms of what I've realized/learnt... hm. ok I'm about to get a little existential here lol. putting this under 'read more' because this is getting kinda long aee

some personal stuff about me - I have friends, sure, but I'm otherwise a pretty solitary person. I've never had any partners; for whatever reason, that sort of connection tends to elude me lol. the fact that I can't seem to connect to a person on such a level has bothered me for a long, long while, mostly because of how society treats these connections. you won't feel truly happy without a partner (or two); you shouldn't stay on your own, you need someone else by your side. this Special person. while I understand that different people are different, I still got very frustrated with my inability to have this Special person. what, was I meant to never be truly satisfied with life if I don't? if I stay alone, do I not have a chance at True Happiness?

everyone around me always treats people who never marry or choose to live alone as somehow... less fortunate. oh, this person doesn't have a family of their own - that's a shame. and it's hard not to internalize that! but this year... it's like something Clicked for me. I realized that, when writing, when I'm striving for a career in something I truly love doing, while talking to like-minded people, sharing our stories and that passion - I don't feel like I'm missing something in life. I don't feel incomplete. I can truly imagine myself doing this for years on end. storytelling is my meaning in life, you know? that's what I want to focus all my energy and time on. that's what I want to leave after myself. that's what truly makes me happy. sure, maybe finding someone to love would make me a different kind of happy, but I already feel love! maybe it's just inevitable that I would connect more with ideas and art than people, maybe my brain is unable to work differently, but the fact that I can connect to something already makes me very happy:)

I'M GONNA DO BOTH!!!!!111 Tbh it's very VERY hard to choose just one thing but I'll do my best to keep this. as brief as I can lmfao I love these homos so!

Copper first! Honestly this is gonna sound like a joke but hear me out. I love that he's an absolute loser. He's a giant pervert shut in virgin. He's awkward and silly but soooo passionate about his interests, even if he gets embarrassed to talk about them! He's just. so genuine. Mateo and I call him a puppyboy because he really kinda just is. So pathetically enthusiastic about things and eager to please. He's a loser and I love it

Now Dante! It's even harder for me to choose with them because they. are one of my favorite ocs of all time tbh. They're very complex as a character and I've put extra amounts of love into them but!!! What I like most about them is the way they are kind to a fault while being INTENSELY emotionally shut off. I draw them happy and cute with Copper and Riot a LOT but it takes a WHILE for them to get to that point!! They're dealing with a LOT of emotional constipation on top of masking their autism like 24/7! They naturally have a flat affect and it took a very long time for them to develop the social skills they have when meeting Copper and later Riot, they were a very intense lil kid. Then, there comes the emotional shut off! They are very active in their community and have lots of friends, but very, very few are truly close. They're always a shoulder to cry on but keep people at arm's length when it comes to their own feelings. They use sexual intimacy to make up for the lack of emotional intimacy they allow themself. It's SUCH an interesting trait to play with. Especially because once they FINALLY let themself be vulnerable emotionally, they blossom into the person they truly are. Not just kind to others, but kind to themself. Someone who is a true part of their community because they let others take care of them, too <3

That ended up being a lot longer than intended LMAO whoops! But like I said. I love these guys so very much so! Tysm for the ask!

🌸　animal: red squirrels. ( i genuinely couldn’t think of anything & asked my gf. it’s canon now ig /shrug ) for a ff based creature, she’d be a red chocobo or a tabby coeurl kit. 

🌸　color: pink! coral & rose pink are p distinct on her, but i also think pearlescent white, warm-toned colors, + gold accents are also fitting.

🌸　song: fellow feeling by porter robinson ( most things made by porter are a vibe tbh but THIS song?? oof from the lyrics alone; almost like i could hear the words being said as her own. the sound itself is v modern, but the initial calm that turns into chaos all contrasts so well against with what is being said in the song & kind of silhouettes what i imagine it must feel like for Hanaka to use her Echo / aetheric abilities?? it’s intense, maybe a bit scary to witness. she is incredibly strong when her power is wielded deftly, but it’s a painful process. also her h/c’d english VA* *subject to change is doing the speaking in the song! it’s all v good!! )

🌸　number: 2. She likes multiples of two. She usually prefers to go second in most things in her life, letting someone else take the lead so she can learn from their example. She is the kind to observe first, then act; always preferring a one-two step kind of plan.

🌸　day or night: she is the early morning, specifically the hours of 3~5 AM, when the world sleeps & the stars shine brightest. She is like dawn break over the horizon, shooing the stars to their beds with her sun-like smile. She is the comfort of knowing you’ve survived another night, the bleary sky a meld of purples & pinks into new day blues or early morning golds, dotted with flickering stars who will soon rest behind the fluffy clouds. Hanaka loves the night skies, but she herself is very much the dawn.

🌸　plant: victoria rose forget-me-nots; felt like a fitting plant, as a lot of her WoL narrative deals with remembering / seeing / sharing memories with others. pink flowers for bonus points!

🌸　smell: initially, she smells like the plum & cherry blossoms she likes to use as her daily accessories. Her true scent is of Othardian poppies, Doman black tea, ginger root, natural musk, & a touch of something sweet akin to a marshmallow. ( it’s my headcanon that Hanaka just… always smells good lol because of her ability to sprout flowers from her body to heal herself & she is also just very well-groomed when able! )

🌸　gemstone: angel aura quartz, pearl, or argyle ( pink ) diamond!

🌸　season: late winter to early spring, right after the deep winter frost thaws; still cold outside but the snow is melting, maybe an occasional snow flurry. The plum trees have blossomed & warmer seasons are on their way; bird calls return to the mornings again, signaling the end of hibernation. The crisp air smells of rebirth & sweetness.

🌸　place: Yanxia. She was born in a small farming village beyond the Glittering Basin, now lost to war & time.

🌸　food: hanami dango ( her favorite dango flavor is azim strawberry! )

🌸　eorzean deity: i associate her with Azeyma ( mostly due to aesthetics ), though her patron is Althyk! Althyk makes more sense for her narratively imo.

🌸　eorzean element(s): earth, the element of substance & endurance. Her abilities draw from this element the most!

🌸　drink: maehwa-cha ( plum blossom tea )

Important music information: There's a thing called a brake drum which is often used for loud metallic impact sounds. It's just brakes from a car. Every orchestra needs a guy with strange objects to hit and that guy was me. Also rolling or bowing a cymbal on a timpani makes lots of fucked up horror movie ambiance. It reminds me of the sound of snapping metal cables. Some things to look out for if you ever need sounds.

Oh what id fucking give to be the Cymbals Guy at an orchestra. Like the guys who man the cannons for that one classical music piece. Always so cool to see unconventional sounds used

🦋- My favorite character by far is Saiki (Kusuo. Kuusuke is fun too though.) Something about him just vibes. I get a lot of comments saying I keep him in character so I'm doing something right haha

🦈 - Toughest character is Akechi, which is funny because he's a main character in two out of my four long fics. I never know if I'm actually making him talk enough to actually be in character haha

i do daydream a lot! for the majority of my fics i spend many days or weeks (or months lol) daydreaming about it before actually writing. sometimes i'll write a bit in my head first when i'm lucky so i actually have stuff to put down when i start lol

this ozygil fic got a lot of attention despite in all honesty it being really rushed from my end lol. tho i guess ozygil is just a very popular ship on ao3, and this was posted at the peak of fgo's popularity

ooooh, this one's fun:D I think... the character that has the most complicated relationship with truth would be Mistress Silvoir, Quil's former academic mentor. she's the current Headmistress of the top academy in the country, and when I say you do not get to the top by being truthful... it's not that she lies, but she knows what people want to hear and how they want to hear it. she'll twist the truth just a bit to fit any given situation, and has absolutely no qualms about constructing a dishonest narrative to fit her goals. in her scenes, she has a tendency to present a personal situation in an impersonal manner, as if it doesn't concern her but is rather the way it just is.

I think this snippet illustrates her mannerisms well:

Mistress Silvoir hummed, an odd look crossing her face. “No… Certain circumstances arose which forced our hand.” ‘We’, ‘our’; it was always we and our with Mistress Silvoir. Not I and mine. Just in case in the future it’d need to turn to they and their.
