fairy tale boys but THEY'RE the one who breaks a table. they get transported to og twst land and now they have to figure out stuff with yuu.

Ohhhh boy-

They crashed in the dorm meeting, the new dorm leaders recognized some of them, the famous ones at least, Crowley was sumoned immediately and soon after, Yuu, who had returned to their world by the mirror to finaly rest, is sumoned before their shift as the NRC therapist, to only be meet with familiar² faces

Now FT boys are Yuu's roommates until they can assemble the right ingredients to go back "we swear we weren't planing to stay for too long"

Now remember, all of them came from a world where there is no technology, so on top of being the therapist, yuu is also the mediator AND TECHNICIAN

Ft Malleus broke so many tech, I swear he makes normal Malleus look like a wizard geek, boy looked at the microwave and it exploded, he just wanted pop corn poor man ;_;

FT Idia is absolutely transfixed, WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE CHARONS USE ARMOR?! GIVE ME THE BLUE PRINTS THIS WOULD BE SO FUCKING USEFUL INSTEAD OF SKELETONS- .... what's anime? Please drag him away from the TV and computer he's worse than twst Idia

Ft Vil will use gems to pay Yuu later HOWEVER HE NEED TO KNOW THE CHEMICAL FORMULA OF THOSE MAKEUP/HYGIENE THINGS PLEASE, HE NEEDS THEM BACK AT fary tale universe PLEASEE-

FT Jamil is very interested in the worlds differences what they mean for his universe, let's just say that he an Yuu brainstorm a lot together

FT Azul is mesmerized by all the knowledge in business he can gather around the modern day, he probably annoys twst Azul a lot about it too

Ft Leona is intrigued by magishif and the new curses the modern days have, he's mostly seen napping or reading around the Ramshackle dorm and if you are lucky he might even ask for a spare so he can see what this new curse does

Ft Riddle is fascinated by all the new stuff there is here, from books to teas he's having a good time, and finaly doing things fir himself... like learning how to cook, he isn't allowed alone in the kitchen anymore

Please introduce FT Grim to Grim slowly, let them get used to each other on opposite sides of the dorm, they can and will fight, specialy for Yuus attention

But I honestly don't know what to make bc.... a Yuu God can be any personality in this au

Yes, the tftu boys wanted an evil being that would help them complete their goals, but this "evil god" can have any variation of personality bc Yuu is basicaly a selfincert (that's why in the vanilla version Grim is the evil God, it's easier)

You can be a "good" evil God, giving tasks basicaly impossible to be completed so you can make a deal

A evil evil God, an apathetic evil God, you get the idea, theres just too many good dynamics that Yuu can have

The general reaction would be always shock, bc they though the Yuu of this world didn't existed to be honest, since you, yourself isn't from twst in the first place

(This is a little long, so I apologize)

I was gonna use this in my own story but I'm probably never gonna post it anywhere, so I thought I'd share my ideas :)

At one point in my life I think I remember hearing about how some castles have secret passages for servants to use to get around without being seen by their masters or guests, I don't know if this is actually true or not but just imagine the potential for NRC.

The school has secret passages that no one knows about, not even the sly/sneaky students like Rook or the twins (Crowly would probably know because he's headmaster).

But just imagine if Yuu found out? That would make their life SO much easier, like maybe walking from A to B would be a 15 minute walk normally, but with the passageways it would cut it down to like 2 minutes or something. Personally if I was in that situation I wouldn't tell anyone except maybe Crowly (he could tell you more about them) and Grim (it would be a crime to hide it from him), because do you know how funny/useful that would be?. Maybe there's even a passageway from Ramshackle to the main building.

Imagine—

Rook stalking watching Yuu: *He looks away for like 5 seconds, looks back and Yuu is just GONE. Poof. Disappeared.*

Rook: !?? Trickster???

*Being late for class*

Ace: Crap we gotta go or else– where is Yuu and grim!?

Ace & Deuce: *arrives at class late, sees yuu + grim already there* !?!!??!? How did you get here so fast!?.

A rumor spreads, saying that Yuu might have the ability to teleport.

*Yuu is just very careful as to make ABSOLUTELY sure that no one is looking*

(If you wanna mix this with one/some of your AUs go right ahead!)

No matter the AU, Rook would become a pain in Yuu's ass, bc "magicless" students aren't supose to vanish in thin air like that

Depending on who you think is the owner of the castle there could be 2 possibilities

1) Grimhide was the owner, she knows the secret passages and forgot about those, so when she notices Yuu vanishing she remembers and that becomes a Yuu/Vil secret passages, wich helps Vil with his busy schedule and guess what? TIME TO BOND BABYYYY HE HAS TIME NOW WHO WOULD HAVE IMAGINED?!

2) the castle is just a normal castle, so Yuu learned those passages when looking for a feral Grim, and when THEY OVERBLOTED GUESS WHO KNOWS THOSE PASSAGES NOW BC HE'S PART OF YUU'S SOUL?! CHERNA-FUCKING-BOG, he's so gonna use them with Grim, he literally knows so many secrets now, Yuu has a powerful ally in their side

Ftu

Malleus, Vil, Riddle, Leona and Jamil live in castles, however only Vil and Jamil are aware of their secret passages, and yes, they were furious when Yuu discovered them, but soon changed their minds once they discovered there is more and Yuu found those, they have little adventure exploring those parts of the castles

Azul has some shortcuts in the area he lives in, they are dangerous shortcuts but useful nonetheless, he uses them with Yuu once, and Yuu found more when bored with Floyd, and with Grim they found a passage in Rielle's castle once they visited, this one Azul doesn't know yet

The underworld, I'll take inspiration from Supergiant's Hades, bc I like it, it's in constant change with little places staying the same, so it's almost impossible finding shortcuts and secret passages... almost... Yuu finds some when running around and learning about the nature of teh realm, Ortho teaches them some, Idia uses others, Yuu never ruinned on them when exploring bc the flamy hair gives away who is coming

B&P

Chernabog's mountain is full of tricks and passages that were never used to it's full potential... until a little human was brought by the demon

The meetings are happening in there,m it's only natural that Yuu knows many of those passages, they used to play with Grimm in them, and now... they play tricks in their new friends :) bnp Rook is dieing to know how they do that!

The seven know about all the passages in Ramshackle, after they grow found of this little human they tell them about those, and Yuu and Grim, began to search for them, now they know almost all of them at this point

Not only those of the school, oh no, they know the dorm's secret passages too, you can imagine them playing pranks on each dorm and getting away with that, not even Crowley knows about those

Blessed be however made those passages, Yuu needs them so much in here, yes, they may run in Grim and he may try to fry them but good seven it's so much better than being beaten up or... felling eyes everywhere

They try their best to never, ever, run by Crowley, those passages are too good for them, they aren't giving them up, NEVER

hahaha lol for the fairy tale au! what would happen if yuu brought their phone with them, lol imagine if all of the guys have no technlogy an yuu just shows them the stupid shit they did back at NRC. hahahaha, lol them seeing an alternate version of themselves acting like dumb teens gives me life

Embarrassment for one thousand years Lilia put the phone down

Fary tale boys: what is this thing?

Yuu: it's a phone

FT boys:?

Y: it's like a TV

FT boys: ??

Y: it shows images... pictures... like, they move

FT boys: ???

Y: look I'll show you

It isn't his fault that Yuu forgot their phone in his sight, the magicless human had show him and the other the wonders of this strange object, however they only mentioned some "moving images" that they have of them, but never actually showed, so it's no wonder Riddle got a little bit curious

His face is as red as his hair, no mad grim in sight, only pure and delicious embarrassment

He knows it isn't him but by the seven he can't belive any version of him would have done that

The video was simple, Yuu just showing around Heartslabyul (his kingdom version of their world he presumes), in the middle of the night (a rare occasion they informed him before) and right there, caught like a thief in the night, a younger self of himself, face full of tart with a half eaten plate in hands

Yuu's voice: isn't that the tart for tomorrow's unbirthday party?

Riddle, visibly sweating: ... if you don't tell you can eat them now too

The video ends, but endless images of him and Yuu together follow, unbirthday parties, eating, studying, punishing two teens that he swears he recognizes from somewhere, and HOW THE HELL HIS OTHER SELF CAN STAND AND HOLD GRIMM SO CASUALY LIKE THAT

Leona on the other hand has no shame, and at the first opportunity he had, got Yuu's phone and started to mess around with it

Eventually he got to the gallery and would you look at that, a folder with his name on it, bet it's some incriminating thing that would put his plan into ashe- ...

A photo that "he" took of Yuu with scribbles on their face and he's showing his tongue to the camera? Wait.

A swap and the next is a video:

Ruggie's voice, he's opening a door revealing Leona's room: C'mon~ no pain no gain

Yuu, sneaking in: Ruggie if I die, you better tell great tales about me to your children

Ruggie: sure sure

[Yuu gets closer and closer, almost to the wallet, and then they stumble and fall into the bed]

[... Leona rools to the side and traps Yuu into a bear hug]

Yuu: holly shit...

Ruggie walks in, picks the wallet: have fun prefect

Yuu: you little-... he purrs... Ruggie for the love of the seven send me a copy of this stupid video please

It's strange to se yourself in a video that never actually happened, and strangest is how... comfortable you seemed he can't remember the last time he slept so heavily without nightmares or... doubts

Floyd was cracking his butt off, looking at the strange thing the human had brought, that caught Azul's curiosity, and oh how he loathes it

[It's a video of "him" dancing out of beat, with all the graciousness of a flying table, "he" looks so uncomfortable it hurt, and then Yuu joins in and how they can dance more ridiculously than himself is a curse he wishes to never fall upon]

[Yuu just grabs his hands and they spin like fucking children, and then Floyd, out of all people, jumps in and crashes them to the floor... it's the most lively laugh he heard out of "his" mouth]

Floyd: aw~ at least this other you is cute

Azul: shut up and give me that

No, he doesn't look trough all of the photos and videos like a masochistic dumbass who pines for some fun he can't have thank you very much... he just takes a peak

Yuu doesn't find their phone for at least a week

Jamil at least asks to see the videos the first time

He realy liked the one of "himself" obviously showing off his cooking skills to a set of students

Alone he finds more:

[A boy with red hair and a heart in his eye that he doesn't recognizes and one of Azul's twins are holding pies]

Ace: any second now

[He enters the room and the two teens blast of the pies ]

Floyd and Ace: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMIL!

[His other self looks FURIOUS and retaliate the other two in a food fight]

Jamil: HHAHAHHAHAH BET YOU WEREN'T EXPECTING THIS SUCKERS! (He uses magic to conjure more pies)

Honestly, Jamil doesn't remember the last time he looked so free

Yuu falls into the floor tired: how.. the hell... do you hold that position... for so long

Jamil just casually sits. Not tired at all: you get used to it

Yuu: but seriously, how do you do that spin thing with one arm so easily???

Jamil does the spin thing: this? >:)

Yuu tackles him into the ground and starts to trickle him: YOU SHOW OFF!

He can't help but chuckle himself, it's just... comfortable... such childish manners he couldn't do... something inside him feels happy that least a version of himself could have that

Vil is in a bad mood when he comes across the phone, so to hell with decency, he needs a distraction before he does something he won't regret in this instant

The video he finds is... something he hadn't expected really

Yuu: Epel put that down

Epel: but Yuu he is ASLEEP. Do you know how rare those chances are??????

Yuu: do you want to die? Vil never falls asleep like that, let him take a nap a little longer, guy's got it ruff already

Epel: ... weren't you the one who made that rule? The first to fall asleep in Hamshackle gets pranked. Remember~

Yuu: that just applys to first years

Epel murmuring: mimimimimimi-playing favorites already- I'llshowyouwhenyoufallasleepfisrt

It's stupid, it's a horrible position, he has no make up on, he's pretty sure he saw bags under his eyes... but even so, he looks so... young... relaxed... comfortable

Compared with all the poor photos he sees after it's a big contrast, in all of them he looks perfect, absolutely stunning, however there are the odd ones out, all of them he looks a mess but somehow the one who took the photo made him look so... genuine... so strangely genuine

The moment he finaly sees a photo that "he" took with Yuu, for some goddam reason he wants to cry, it's not his perfect smile that greets the viewer, it's a strange one, one he learned to forget long ago, a awkward imperfect smile that had always felt so easy for him to do when younger... he wanted to never see that phone again in his life

Idia took an instant interest in that strange object, and it's no wonder that he asked Yuu to explain what the hell that was, the first of the seven to actually see all of the gallery and chats but Yuu doesn't need to know that

It entertains him to no end, look at all those chickens dumbasses, he wishes he could use this as black mail but Yuu would miss their phone

He cringes at "his" videos tho, and at the same time wonders if he could be this relaxed as his otherself seems to be with the human... did... did he just petted Grimm AND DIDN'T LOST HIS HAND can he do that too?

Yuu: yes Ortho make him pretty!

Ortho: so your hair won't get in you way big brother!

[Idia is completely transfixed in his game, in his hair is a bunch of pink bows, when he wins he screams in victory and finaly notices his hair stated]

Idia in a good mood right now @ yuu: Am I pretty?

Yuu rolling with this only chance they have to immortalize the moment: The prettiest boy I have ever met

Idia: good

He worries about Ortho's diferent appearance, but the smile in his little brothers eyes that he see reflected every time in all pictures calms him down

He finds strange some interactions, his other self is so more... soft... is all he can describe when he see the interactions, yes he has sass and a dark sense of humor as always but something feels diferent, more human, more... compassionate? Specialy in the latter videos were his other self looks more his own age

... It must be just the lights.

Malleus isn't the one who interacts with the phone. LILIA IS AND SOMEBODY PLEASE GET THAT THING OUT OF HIS REACH

Eventually he see the videos and photos, specialy if Lilia found them and is just ecstatic to embarrass further his sons, those moments that never happened in this world... but could... the moments of vulnerability and innocence that each and every one of them needed but couldn't have... but still can have

Melleus finaly understands more the familiarity that Yuu's interact with him in so many levels the second he sees "himself" smile fondly at the little human that is trying with all their might to "take a picture of them at the same frame without him bending down, only to realise they were filming the whole failure... and laugh at their own mistake"

Malleus, head stuck at a maze of branches: Child of man if you don't stop laughing I swear by my grandmother I will put you on fire

Yuu, no signs of stopping laughing: B-but Tsunotarou You look-OhsevenIcan't- YOU ARE BAMBI TSUNOTARO *SNEEZE* HOW DIDN'T YOU SEE THE TREEE HOW-

Malleus, face burning so bright: yes the king of the forest now help me

Yuu, trying with all their might to move: O-ok Oh Geez oh fuck, you teleport for years how did this went wrong-?

[The video is shacking the hole time, it cuts to Malleus sting in the Ground, a hand (Yuu's) picking the sticks and leaves in his hair]

Yuu: I will never let you live out of this... Bambi~

[Malleus ruffs and pouts... but his little smile is captured by the camera]

It's strangely captivating, to see oneself look so genuinely happy and- as Lilia said- finaly young, living and acting as teen, as a dumb and stupid child that a king can't bee but should be at least once in a while, but he never could

A friend

That was his wish

A friend was his other self wish too

A friend to his other self was granted

Loliness was all that was given to him

And now, this friend stood there, in his world, acting like nothing has changed, even if they know things are different, even if they know this world is more cruel and distrustful, even if they know they are being used...

Something inside Draconia revives that day, a strange warmth of hope... and dreams... and wishes... and awkwardness

Noone sees the little changes

noone notices the tiny gestures

Noone understands the sudden mercy

Noone but one Crow whose hope might have returned at the simple show of care

Out of curiosity, how did other characters (Kalim, Trey and others) from Fairy tale au react to Yuu when villains brought Yuu to their home? Suspicious? Pity? Welcoming?

Here's their roles in the au

Absolutely confused and curious

Ace is just done with his job and wants someone to replace him, watching over Yuu is soooo boringggg, so what does he do? Becomes a menace, he gets into trouble and turns out the sumoned human can get him our of that trouble~ how convenient~

Deuce pities Yuu, Riddle isn't the nicest when in a bad mood, and Yuu is technically a prisoner, only recently getting their own chambers at the palace and not a jail, thanks to... Grim... is that how that cat is called? Deuce was the quickest to become friends with Yuu the otherworldly human doesn't get into trouble at all... they get him and Ace out of trouble most of the times anyway

Cater met Yuu at a unbirthday partie Riddle had thrown, he's curious about this new little human that lives in the castle and seems to better the mood of the red headed, they are adorable and so polite! How can't he like them?

Trey, as Cater, met Yuu at that unbirthday partie and wonder who they could be, they are polite and amusing, Riddle is obviously in a better mood than normal, AND THEY STOPPED RIDDLE FROM BEHEADING SOMEBODY AT CROQUETTE!???? HOW??? IS... IS THIS THE KING? IS THIS RIDDLE'S BELOVED? WHAT HAPPENED SINCE HE STEPED IN HERE? WHY DIDN'T RIDDLE TOLD HIM THIS!

Jack almost had an heart attack once he noticed Yuu coming with Leona, he hadn't seen them since the incident! He just assumed something happened or that they would be staying at Draconia's palace but guess not... they become morning jogs buddies

Ruggie is ready to throw at Yuu all the Leona-related-problems once he notices how diferent his boss is acting towards them, he teases him about it endlessly, they are nice to each other, and then he discovers that Yuu spend a week before in the Kingschoolar palace and now he wants to know if there are any backdoors that they can remember

Cheka is so happy, uncle Leona came to visit! AND HE BROUGHT A FRIEND! Well... more like he found his uncle in the city and dragged him over to the palace, anyway! He never knew his uncle had friends, how did you meet? Were do you came from? Is uncle so grumpy with you too? Can we play something? Are you a traveler? Your clothes look like the heart's kingdom! Did you came from there?

Jade "well welcome customer- oh? Not a client? My bad~", new toy, he enjoys this new person Azul brought, loves learning how to make them uncomfortable, until he learns that they will listen to him when he's hyper fixating in something, be it poison or just a cool rock, never had someone not falling asleep while he talks, it's nice

Floyd goes for the squeeze in any dimension, "you look like a shrimp! " "you don't say...", new toy², loves playing with Yuu, goes for a swim with them constantly showing around and getting into trouble, almost driving Yuu to their dead twice, but it's fine~ they always escape in the last minute, becomes so attached that almost doesn't let Yuu go "so Azul... when is the wedding?"

Rielle met Yuu at a crashed ship, they never saw a merperson like Yuu before, he doesn't notice Floyd watching them, he's more than surprised to lear that Yuu doesn't know who he is and it's so refreshing! They talk and talk and then.. and than Jade and Floyd came to collect , ARE THEY FRIENDS WITH AZUL ASHENGROTTO??!. WHAT? Did... did he hear them talking about Yuu coming from the surface??? Ohhh he can't wait to meet them again!

Kalim is ecstatic to meet Jamil's friend, please do get comfy, he's such a good host and wants to know everything about Yuu and their friendship with Jamil, he wants to know what is so special about Yuu for Jamil of all people bring them here in the first place, and he realy needs a good friend too... days later he notices a difference in Jamil's demeanor and.. oh... ohhh, he's going to play matchmaker, just watch him prevent all the og plot bc he's too busy helping Jamil and accidentally fooling all his plans

Epel had time to be introduced to Yuu and didn't suffered a heart attack, he learns that being friends with Yuu means Vil will be more likely to let him do other stuff besides being a servant, and does he uses and abuses of his title as Yuu's friend, he's loving it, mini shenanigans here and there, "escaping" the castle to see the town for fun

Rook is having a field day with Yuu's misadventures and ohohohoho his queen is smitten, he can tell~, teases Vil so much about it, and who can blame the guy? Yuu is absolutely adorable and there's more to the little human than naivety, Rook can see the glimpse of mistif in those eyes, loves when they suddenly disappear, fell out of tree bc they appeared right behind him! They know most of his hunting tactics, this is the begging of a beautiful hunting competition friendship!

Neige has a crush, he has fallen for the stranger Vil brought to the castle, they are nice and pretty! They talk to him like a person, they even help him! And he notices how Vil is becoming more... soft? Compassionate? He can't find the right word but he notices the little changes, Neige wants good things for himself and Vil... but he secretly hopes Yuu prefers his company over his dearest brother's

Ortho is amazed, his big brother has made a friend! A HUMAN FRIEND NO LESS! They play together, they walk together AND HIS BROTHER IS LETTING HIM LEAVE THE UNDERWORLD BECAUSE OF THEM! He has never felt so alive under the sun, and the day his brother agrees to come with them to the fields is the day he knows his brother may be getting better or even... finaly... letting him go, finaly moving on, and as the true older brother Ortho is happy for him

Sebek is panicking once Yuu's reveal they know what he did, he offers to be Yuu's personal guard and regrets instantly bc WHO IS GOING TO PROTECT HIS MASTER THEN?! And then the human had the AUDACITY TO GET CLOSER TO LORD MALLEUS! Besides this person seems nice, they let him doze off and awaken him sometime after, he brings them home, it's too late for them to go back by the forest and his old man isn't around so much these days anyway

Lilia's first impression was that this little human is special, there's something about them that can change the worst of fates if given the right opportunity and the right time, he is nice with a little bit of suspicion, but who isn't in this world? His second impression is almost heart attack when the human went missing, he knows they would never disappear out of nowhere, in the worst of possibilities they were kidnapped, and... that's the first time he notices Malleus change, he expected annoyance or even fury of his Lord but instead... instead he saw him worry abou this little human! Something happened and he missed it, but maybe... just maybe... it's ok to hope

Surely seeing Cerberus in persson was fun, however the rest of the journey was spend in silence

The moans of the dead filled the air while Charon guided them to Idia's lair, Grim clingued to Yuu's side every time one of the dead tried to climb the boat, only for charon to smack them out

Idia was thinking... the mortal in front of him was lost in thought, maybe appreciating the morbid cave surrounding them maybe planning, he couldn't tell and in truth didn't care

What he did care tho was Vil's reluctance in pass the human to him, if his memory was right the evil queen has many duties to attend to, he doesn't form bonds with anyone, the closest thing Idia could name a friend to Vil was the huntsman, and even then both were more like employer and employee than anything, so what changed for Schoenheit want to keep Yuu? What happend last month?

Don't get it wrong, he would love to not have another chore to take care of, he would be over the moon to let Yuu stay with Vil, however... a deal was a deal, and he would be lieing if he said his curiosity wasn't picked

Schoenheit felt diferent, he was the same but something changed, and changed drastically since last meeting, Idia couldn't say what exactly but he knew something was different, now if it was a good or bad kind of difference is another hole matter, but what he did know was the cause of that change, he may be disinterested in this while babysitting bullshit, but he is still observing,a nd the glint in Schoenheit eyes when Yuu waved goodbye was so very intriguing

He focused on Yuu again, the toga fitted them well, they would mix nicely with the other mortals if they ever get the chance to go to the surface, the only thing that will make them stand out here is, well, the fact they look are alive... a completley uninteresting mortal, ignoring the fact that this mortal came from a portal and somehow knew him, or another him at least, hm... what's so special about you- !

Looking down a hand grabbed his toga... again... Isn't this thing suposed to be smoke for Olympus' sake?!

Hey, hope your doing well. Anyway, I was thinking that in the TWST Fairy Tale Au, Yuu just casually drops hints that they know more about this world then their letting on. Like, it's so casual that they don't even register what Yuu said until Yuu leaves the room and they are left with this, wait what, look on their face.

Yuu, multicasting as many characters while progressing the movie's plot

Seconds later the boys: that wasn't the plan! WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU SCHEDULED THE HEROS METTING FOR TOMORROW??? I'M TRYING TO TRAP THEM FOR WEEKS!

Yuu to the magic mirror: listen I'm already into too deep here so I'm gonna stay some more time

MM: they will kill you

Yuu: Bitch they need a therapist and I'm the only one here capable of bullshiting my way through their thick walls of insecurity talking about my feeling so shut the fuck up

Riddle doesn't beat an eye when Yuu doesn't break any rules until Trey mentions how odd that is, they know almost half of their rules and they just got there!

Yuu tries to tempt Riddle into "breaking" the rules, pointing loop roles and making quite compelling arguments:

"yes, I know that in an unbirthday party we can't eat this tipe of tart, however this is a tea party! Even if today is the unbirthday it's not the time for it yet, soooo we can eat this tart if we do an little tea party just for us"

"w-we?"

"Your ma~jesty I can't possibly eat this alone! Besides it's your favorite"

... Riddle for the first time gets to eat what he wants without restrictions and it felt... nice... how did they know it was his favorite?

Leona is losing his patience with his nephew and his brother as the seconds passes, but here comes Yuu to ruin his plans

"Uncle Leona, when I'm king, what does that make you?" Cheka invaded his room the fifth time this week

"A-"

"Monkey's uncle" Yuu completed his sentence

"WOAAA IS THAT YOUR FRIEND DADDY'S BEEN TALKING ABOUT UNCLE LEONA?!" Cheka jumps into Yuu's arms "you're pretty!"

"Well, thank you very much little sir, now why are you annoying your uncle this hour?"

"I am bored~~~ and uncle Leona is fun to be around!"

"Oh is he? " Yuu sends an smug grin to the now grumpier lion "but y'know, your uncle has such a poor back"

"Oi, I'm right here"

"Weren't you the one who was complaining second ago about your back?"

Cheka puffs his cheeks frustrated

"Ah~ guess it can't be helped, c'mon little prince, your uncle is scared~ of losing a game of chess"

"It isn't if you play it my way" yuu crunches to look Cheka in the eyes "what do you say?" They look at Leona as well

And that's how the two lions got entertained from the stories the Herbivore made about kings and queens, and lost and wins, and glory and legends of days untold, all of those made on the spot inspired by the moves that were made

only later at night Leona notices his nephew sleeping in his lap while he himself fell asleep earlier... he wonders when did he start hating his nephew so much and notices that his plan to kill the ball of annoying energy was fooled, it must be a coincidence that the human walked in just the right time, right?

Most of the times, Azul is preparing potions and restocking while Jade and Floyd go out to get him costumers or spy on his little gold mine, but Yuu doesn't need to know about it

The irony that Yuu's merform is a shrimp made them burst into laughter, their Floyd would be delighted and completely smug about this

Today was quite a busy day, three poor unfortunate souls to "help", Yuu doesn't mind, it's fun watching Azul work his unnecessary showmanship with the potions and pretty words, that's why Azul is exhausted at the end of the day

"I wonder if they found anything" Azul murmurs to himself

"Bet they are running from a shark together with Rielle"

"That would be just what kind of shenanigans they'd get into wouldn't it?" he chuckles softly... wait A SECOND HOW DO YUU KNOWS WHO RIELLE IS??? But before he could ask:

"Azul, holly shit, you wouldn't belive what just happened!" Floyd comes flying through the entrance

"Floyd your tail is still hurt" Jade's right behind him

Jamil is absolutely tired and in full on panicking when this "prince Ali" starts to cause a commotion outside the palace gates, and he keeps advancing

He trys to hold the door stubbornly, if wasn't for Yuu getting him and Kalim out of the way, they would be a pancake on the wall and his mood would be worsen

"I want to smack this idiot"

"Oh you will, but stop getting grumpy I'll help you with the paper work in this one, you can get back at you hideout or whatever after this mess is done with"

He grunts but complains, later he remembers of never telling yuu that he has an hideout in the first place

Yuu had just arrived with Vil at the castle, whoever the Queen doesn't want anyone to see his new guest entering by the front gate, so by the back door it is

Together they go, after all he can't afford Yuu running away now, besides he's too tired from traveling to maintain his impeccable appearance in front of his subjects

They bump into Neige's "I'm wishing" song, Yuu pushes Vil out of sigh

"I wonder who the prince is this time" Yuu murmurs

"Get your hands of me this instant! What do you think you are doing?"

"I-is someone there?"

"Hello" Yuu shows themself "nice to meet you, my name is Yuu"

"I-I shouldn't talk to you, the Queen might-"

"The Queen might what Neige?"

"V-Vil! M-my apologizes I promise I wasn't slacking of!"

"C'mon Vil cut him some slack won't you" Yuu throwing away any form of self preservation trys to calm the tension "besides weren't we in a hurry so you could put on your proper make up? Even tho I think you look better with this more basic one but to each their own"

"You don't get to talk-"

"Are you two friends?"

"Kinda" "No"

Vil signs "come, weren't you the one who said we are in a hurry" he passes through Neige without looking back

Yuu follows not noticing a big blush on the boy's face when they turn back and mutters a "don't worry he's just in a bad mood" with a big reassuring smile

"Beautiful isn't he..." Vil's asks in a murmur, a short of melancholy is beneath the nonchalant mask

"Eh~, I would say cute, but not beautiful" Yuu already knows where this is going to go if they answer a generic yes, so bullshiting time it is then, hopefully they don't mess this up "beauty is very subjective to each person, even if there is a general idea that most like, theres gonna be people that would find the weirdest thing more beautiful than others, me for example: beauty for me is in the way one caries themselves, the glow of confidence is the most beautiful thing I ever saw, the same as their growth... my beauty applies more to you than him my Queen"

Vil is quiet and Yuu thinks they fucked up realy bad... apparently not enough bc Vil showed them the magic mirror who knows who Yuu is in more ways than an omniscient mirror should, almost like twst mirror and this are the same

Idia likes coming back to the underworld, it's quiet and nobody is around to test his patience, well Yuu is there now but at least they are quiet, and then... the muses start to sing... again, he's so tired of his villain song you have no idea

"Ohhh we're getting to the Cerberus part, can I feed him pleaseeee?"

"Do you even have the strength to throw this?"

"Yeah, probably not.... say... can I pe-"

"Don't blame me if you die tho"

"So mean~ no wonder you have to send [twst Megara] to recruit your minions"

"That's how the underworld works. better get used to it"

"You are just grumpy because you think you have to prepare for the fate's arrival, also they are already there anyways so relax a little, they aren't gonna have good news anyway"

"... how do you know about the fat-?"

"Big puppy" Yuu points to a very unhappy and dangerous Cerberus "large boys, absolutely best boys"

"... You are so going to die if I don't keep an eye on you won't you?" Idia throws the big meat at them

Malleus isn't in the mood to deal with his subjects bullshit right now, being an powerfull fairy, king and conducting a search for a child who he's suposed to curse into a sleeping death at sixteen is exhausting and frustrating

"Honestly he might be dead at this point"

"Nah, living in a cottage with animal friends and three dumb uncles seems more likely" Yuu try's to catch his pace "say hm... why am I here again?"

"My guards would be too busy looking for me to keep an eye on you, so it's best if you came along, so be quiet and don't make me regret my decision"

"K. Cool." It was a peaceful walk all things considered... and then they teleported "HEY GIVE ME A WARNING NEXT TIME TSUNOTAROU!, oh great seven... I'll never get used to this"

"... you keep calling me Tsunotarou, why is that?"

"Ah... yeah you aren't the same person, hmmm, the other you, in my dimension, he didn't told me his name when we first met"

"And you did"

"Yes I know, I am an reckless child of man, moving on, but I needed a name to a face of a friend right? So my Grimm got the idea of Tsunotarou since Y'know, horns" they make fake horns above their head "and then I told you, and you gave me permission to call you that, once I discovered who you were I was already used to the nickname so it sticked as our thing, you call me child of man and I call you Tsunotarou... but I guess it's weird if I cal you that huh? Sorry, I'll try to hammer in my brain that I'm in another dimension now, promise it'll happen less frequently"

A nickname huh... the way Yuu talked about him was full of nostalgia, the king wonders if this other him considered Yuu such a close friend too

Weeks later, Lilia found a clue to were the child is suposed to be, a cottage in the middle of the forest... what an interesting coincidence

Yuu burst in the second they hear crashing and... the FT.boys are desperately saying IT WASN'T US THIS TIME WE SWEAR-

Grimm, our Grimm, their Grimm, is the first to just JUMP AT THEM FULL FORCE FOR ONCE "YUUUUUU!"

Yuu: guys? Ow- *they are crushed beneath hugs* ... I missed you too...

Haha... does someone else feels a very palpable energy coming from the corner? Oh right... the others

It's very... tense... FT.boys just got attached to Yuu in this... one year(?) They were there and their worst nightmare became reality... can't they have a nice thing for once? They feel awkward... like looking in a mirror and seeing the better half of yourself but different

OG.boys were Panicking when one of them went to visit (Grimm), and.. were's Yuu? Grimm for.the love of seven were the hell is Yuu???? Took so long, and a effort of the seven powerful students to finaly get there, one year, one fucking year that they never gave up, and finaly there they are, alive, and well and-.... of course why are they surprised at all

OG Riddle and FT Riddle: of all the boys, FT Riddle actually gets along with his other self, OG Riddle got anger management, and seven he finaly talked to his mother, it's way more tolerable living at home after that, he gets to have tea with himself (after NRC he isn't surprised, all sorts of crazy thing had happened since Yuu got there, why bother?)

They bond over the incompetence of their (ex) subordinates, and FT kinda gets a second hand scold tips from OG, coming from yourself of another dimension kinda hits more close, like your conscience smacking you head for you being dumb

OG Leona and FT Leona: OG Leona just asks Yuu if he was that insufferable, yes, yes you were, but you got better, this guy on the other hand never had someone to distract him of his depression for him to see, even if for one second, that others really care and his mind is playing tricks on him

FT is still in denial that he likes Yuu's company, he mops around and doesn't bother to talk to his other self, OG, in a good mood, initiate the talk instead, and... yeah, it's way less terrible than it could have been

OG Azul and FT Azul: OG Azul just cringes at his other self fakeness, it's just. Why? They are literally the same person... though the lights show are cool... he'll need to see how he can implement those at his office back home

It's two theater kids talking, everyone can hear and fell that something is up the second both themed up for something, yeah FT Azul doesn't trust OG not for a moment, but he ain't letting this opportunity go, maybe he can succeed were his other self failed... never mind it was Yuu... wait he has Yuu on his side tho

OG Jamil and FT Jamil: both bond over a stress called Kalim, the ones who get along very quickly once the wariness worns out, OG Jamil trys to encourage his counterpart to... travel... it's way better than being stuck in the place that hurts him so much, and he knows Kalim is the same as ever after their talk

FT Jamil doesn't belive he can be tealy free after all those years he's been serving, he envies OG for his freedom and at the same time is happy that some version of him can be free at all... a flicker of hope surged in his soul even if he doesn't notices, maybe... just maybe, he can be free too

OG Vil and FT Vil: oh seven help them, they don't get along at all, they just don't click, OG Vil is passing through his grudge with Neige and they can actually be called friends in some way now, but FT Vil, oh FT is offended that he could ever be in good terms with that naive and stupid child

OG doesn't even try to argue, he knows himself too well for this peep talk to work anyway, they saddle with a more common ground for Yuu's sake, like Epel who seems the same troublemaker in both realities, or Rook's constant pursue of beauty

OG Idia and FT Idia: hello, have a good day, *stays in comfortable silence*, they just, hang out very... quietly, OG Idia has no idea in how to fix some of his insues that he see in his other self, and FT Idia is mostly praying that he doesn't need to interact

But surprisingly, at the end of the day, they both end up talking bc of Ortho and technology, FT is rather interest in making the underworld more comfortable for himself, and OG is more than happy to share somethings he know how to rebuild from his own home

OG Malleus and FT Malleus: two sensitive and prideful bitches... Yuu has to play the mediator with them more than the others this time, it's super easy for both to slide in a sarcastic tone and offend the other. OG Malleus notices how proper and out of here this other self look, and wonders if that's what would happen if he hadn't learned how to open up

FT Malleus is... jealous, for noones surprise, of his other self social skills, they are exactly the same but different bc of one thing the other had and this didn't.... they find common ground in Lilia and Yuu... it's easier to ignore their open hostility when the subject is embarrassing the child of man

All in all FT boys don't want to lose their first openly anchor and OG boys want their friend back, specially after they notices that those counterparts are way more cruel than they were back in the day, when those insues were more prominent, it's tense, specialy if the FTs talk about their evil plan and if they did something similar in the OG reality (OG boys sweat at overblot mention)

Ah yes, cat fight, the Grimms want Yuu's sole attention, they will die for their pets and food, eventually they settle down and start a silent war, they compete in every little thing, Yuu has a cat in their shoulders and another in their head RIP yuu's back

Yuu is way buddy buddy with the FTs to teh OGs opinion, but they won't voice their concerns... just start working harder to distract Yuu

Only seven knows what is holding back the FTs to cause murder at some points, maybe it's Yuu's presence, maybe it's the satisfaction they gain once the OGs seen that Yuu likes them better

RIP FT first year gang, Sebek almost passes out before two young masters

Lilia is vibrating to the next dimension LOOK AT HOW HIS BOY WILL BE AFTER SOME YEARS, SUCH A HANDSOME YOUNG MAN, LOOK AT HIS SOCIAL'S SKILLS!

Ortho is ecstatic, bc now he has TWO BIG BROTHERS

Epel wants to punch both Vils in the face so many times during the day, but is taken back and is extremely suspicious of OG Vil's more... mercifull nature

Rook is having a field day with poetry spilling from his mouth with such passion, metaphors and parallels don't stop coming from his mouth for months

Kalim is confused but happy nonetheless, and he's learning things he never knew Jamil felt, behind scenes he thinks very hard about OGs words and actions, maybe he can lessen his Jamil's burden in some way?

The leech twins are going to town in both Azul's, they are rather curious about the diferences and about their other self's

Ruggie is surprised that OG Leona does someting to help oddly enough, someone should learn from themself and cook for once he won't be here forever y'know

Jack brains goes full on admiration mode, he's really happy that OG seems so... there? Here? Present. Gives him hope that FT can be like that, he tries to understand more of Leona so he can help in anyway

Trey is shocked to see two Riddles, and that he is a dear childhood friend of OGs nonetheless

Cater is rolling with it like it's another Saturday, normal bullshit in wonderland anyways~ he will never admits that OGs diferent approach at him isn't making him feel better... almost like he saw the true him

Deuce is very pround of himself when OG praises him and tell him about his other self, his mother's pride, of any universe, is aways a welcome bust, he wonders if he can, in some way or another, awake his other self unique magic

Ace is already getting on OGs nerves and is shocked to see that OGs response is a fondness bickering, he only wanted to get on his nerves bc he isn't queen and boy does he wants to tell a bunch of stuff to FT Riddle
