Especially when the last time I was in this length stage I was still technically newly natural and the scab hairs weren't grown out completely. I got rid of a lot of ends that I had been neglecting to really cut off and/or were already collateral to stress. My hair seemed unfazed by the bleaching/color process from before though

Since allergy season makes my life hard anyway, I've been using more twist/flat twist styles for protection (from myself lol) for at least a few days before letting them out.
