I forgot my dream last night, since my dad woke me up abruptly in my deep sleep.
Great.
(Shifting Updates Below):
Currently, I feel that the reason I am having issues shifting is because of where I am shifting to. For my Twisted Wonderland DR, I am shifting into a... floating coffin. When my DR body is in a bed, it is hard to imagine being in a coffin, or how big it will be. Of course, once I shift for the first time, I will have an actual bed, and shifting should be easier. But apparently, shifting into a coffin is not easy.
That is why, while I will still keep trying to shift to Twisted Wonderland, I want to try and shift to other DRS as well. I didn't actually make a script for TWST until about 5 days after I had started, but I also made a script for a Twisted Cottage DR the day after. I only made one attempt to shift there, and I don't think anything happened, but I think I should keep trying.
The other idea that I had was making a Nijisanji DR. It would probably be the EN branch only, since I'm not as familiar with the other branches (and there is way more V-Tubers in JP than there is in EN, EN was hard enough lol). Otherwise, I already have a lot of ideas for this DR, that I think I just need to put onto paper. Scripting it will help me process my thoughts, and this DR would have me waking up in a bed, so that would help.

𝐕𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐭
In the tumultuous world of Twisted Wonderland, Vil Schoenheit, known for his grace and aristocratic demeanor, hides a dark side that is only revealed to one person: you, whose enchanting beauty irresistibly captures his attention.
In the bustling halls of Night Raven College, Vil always appears distant and reserved, but in reality, he watches you attentively, captivated by every movement, every smile, every expression on your face.
Over time, Vil begins to nurture an unhealthy obsession with you, unable to resist your magnetic charm. He discreetly collects memories of you: a stray lock of hair, an object you've touched, photos sneakily taken during moments of tenderness.
Beneath his mask of arrogance and perfection, Vil harbors a deep loneliness and a burning desire to be understood and loved. He convinces himself that you are the only one capable of filling this void in his heart.
Gradually, Vil becomes possessive, jealous of any interaction you might have with other students or professors. He watches you from afar, ready to intervene at the slightest perceived threat to your relationship. His jealousy transforms into an obsessive need to protect you at all costs, even if it means resorting to extreme measures. He devises elaborate plans to distance you from anything that could pose a threat, even manipulating and intimidating those who might stand in his way.
Despite his unsettling behavior, Vil is convinced that his love for you is pure and absolute. He doesn't see his actions as manipulation, but rather as desperate acts of affection to preserve what he considers his most precious treasure: your heart.

𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭
In the vibrant world of Twisted Wonderland, Rook Hunt, with his quick wit and boundless energy, harbors an obsessive fondness for only one person: you, whose charm and beauty captivate his attention from the very first glance.
In the lively corridors of Night Raven College, Rook stands out with his infectious enthusiasm and irresistible humor. Yet, behind his antics, he can't help but notice you, following you with his eyes through the crowd, seeking every opportunity to be close to you.
As time passes, Rook becomes increasingly drawn to you, finding in your presence a comfort and energy he can't find anywhere else. He treasures memories of you: a ticket stub from a show you dropped, a doodle you scribbled on a loose sheet of paper, anecdotes you shared with him.
Beneath his exuberant exterior, Rook conceals emotional vulnerability, desperately seeking to fill a void in his heart. He firmly believes that you are the person who can bring him this completeness, who can illuminate his life like no other.
Rook becomes increasingly protective of you, showing jealousy towards any attention you give to others. He goes to great lengths to make you laugh, to entertain you, to be the one you can rely on in all circumstances.Despite his efforts to charm you, Rook remains vulnerable to your every gesture and word.
He becomes determined to protect you at all costs, ready to face any obstacle to ensure your happiness and safety. For Rook, his love for you is an indomitable force, a flame that burns ever brighter with each moment spent by your side. He is willing to give everything for you, convinced that you are the key to his happiness and fulfillment in the turbulent world of Twisted Wonderland.

Mafia GN Yuu! x TWST
I watched Vincenzo and now have been inspirited to do Yuu in Twisted Wonderland, but they used to be from the Mafia
Warnings : Cussing
❅────────❅•°•°•❅────────❅❅────────❅•°•°•❅────────❅
Tumblr media
❅────────❅•°•°•❅────────❅❅────────❅•°•°•❅────────❅
To put things into gear, this Yuu was from the Mafia but recently left and when they were about to flee their country that's when they got like isekaied to Twisted Wonderland.
Breaking out of the coffin with ease and still scaring the shit out of Grim and Crowley with Yuu pointing a gun at them both.
Threatening Crowley to tell them where they are as Crowley fearfully spills out.
With the new information, they let Crowley lead them to the mirror chamber but he is still fearing for his life with being put at gunpoint.
The same chaos still happens but with the addition of Yuu easily capturing Grim with pulling his tail and Riddle collaring him.
And with being let in to Ramshackle dorm, and unwillingly adopts Grim in their care.
‘I never asked for a fucking pet to look after….’
❅────────❅•°•°•❅────────❅❅────────❅•°•°•❅────────❅
How does Mafia Yuu interact with the students?
This goes without saying that word of them formerly being from the Mafia spread like wild fires throughout Night Raven College.
Many students fear Yuu for that reason, students from Savanaclaw honestly try to assert their dominance over Yuu for being magicless.
But they are quickly and quietly taken cared of and now fear to make contact with Yuu.
With the ADeuce duo and Grim, it’s the babysitting job that they never asked for.
Every time the three get into trouble, Yuu always gives them a death glare and a pure scolding of annoyance. (The three hold onto each other and shiver jut from the glare)
They’re cool with Jack, even if Jack himself was suspicious when he heard that Yuu was part of the Mafia and wields guns and small weapons on their body.
Riddle, Trey and Cater were at first put off with them meeting someone formerly from the Mafia, but with some give and take questioning between the group they’re okay with this fact now.
Ace: So why did you join the Mafia?
Yuu: Survival at a young age while in a country not of my own.
Deuce: Did you have to kill anyone?
Yuu: Various times yes, majority of them were for revenge or a performance of power from my group.
Cater: Are Mafia in movies and shows accurate to what you’ve done?
Yuu: I find them okay, some things are inaccurate to the reality of it from my experience but it can be more accurate depending of origin.
Trey: Do you have any family doing your job?
Yuu: I didn’t have any family to begin with, abandoned and taken into a Mafia family that were hard and tough on me since I was young.
Riddle: Do you ever want to see your biological family?
Yuu: (sigh) At this point….. I don’t even know if they’re alive, I may have connections throughout the world to find them. I…… don’t think I’m ready to hear or see them yet.
Grim: Why did you leave the Mafia?
Yuu: Change of pace…….
Their relationship with Malleus is much more calming and mind clearing for Yuu, with Malleus asking about their life before to Yuu asking about the lands and society in Twisted Wonderland.
It’s very wholesome.
The students that made a larger impression was the Octavinelle trio.
With dealing with Azul's entire contracts honestly brings back memories and old techniques Yuu used while being in the Mafia.
Yuu: So Azul is basically an octopus mafia with Jade and Floyd being the bodyguards/right-hand men.
Riddle: Yeah......
Yuu: Aish.... I might have to bring out some old techniques then...
Lets say that Azul tried to recruit Yuu into joining Monstro Lounge but they declined.
Azul: Say Yuu, how abo-
Yuu: No.
Azul: Ah haha... excuse me?
Yuu: I'm flattered but no, I don't desire to join Monstro Lounge.
Azul: But if you join then we will be generous and give you discounts and you'll be payed handsomely.
Yuu: Thank you but no, I am quite okay as of now and repairing Ramshackle is going smoothly now.
How Yuu gets money to repair the dorm? No one knows.
Workers from town come in and help repair the dorm with Yuu giving instructions and requests for how they want the dorm to look.
Crowley did not allow this initially but after confronting Yuu about it (and being threatened promptly) he ended up allowing the workers to come in as long as Yuu paid them.
❅────────❅•°•°•❅────────❅❅────────❅•°•°•❅────────❅
How does Mafia Yuu deal with the Overblots?
Pull out the guns and tactics and now we got it coming!
With Riddle's Overblot, Trey thought Yuu was gonna kill Riddle with their gun but they were aiming for the creature behind Riddle which definitely made Trey sigh of relief.
Honestly, its best not to ask where and how Yuu got a bunch of guns at home along with many different knives.
Grim doesn't know, the staff don't know. And heck no one is allowed in Yuu's stuff.
The one time Grim peaked at Yuu's things, he froze out of fear and promptly left.
They create every plan for every battle by pure observation of the attacks being thrown their way.
*Attack of Leona's Overblot*
*Pulls out a gun from their waist*
Yuu: I knew this shit would happen again! Be glad I came prepared!
Jack: Where did you get the gun from!??!
Ruggie: ARE YOU GONNA KILL HIM?!?!
Yuu: RELAX I WOULDN'T KILL THIS GUY! BUT DON'T BLAME ME FOR CAUSING THIS GROWN MANS TEMPER TANTRUM!!!

Snow White Yuu: the story line is the same but what if when they were running to the house of the seven dwarfs they ended up finding the portal to the world of twisted wonderland and their stepmother is not the evil queen
I know it’s supposed to be Snow White!Yuu but I couldn't really specifically think of Yuu being in Snow White's shoes. So instead, this is all I could think of. I’ve always wanted to write this ever since I learnt of Twisted Wonderland.
Tumblr media
Descendents of the Great Seven
As it says on the title, Yuu is the descendent of one of the Great 7 (kind of). In another world, the Great 7’s actions created Twisted Wonderland but because of the butterfly effect, something quite different happened in Yuu’s world. Featuring a much more kinder (?) Great Seven.
Queen of Hearts - In here, the Cheshire Cat didn’t or couldn’t antagonize the Queen of Hearts successfully for reasons, thus not making the Queen of Hearts get angry and put Alice in trial. Since the Queen is actually kind of a decent person as long as her temper doesn't go off, Alice stayed for a lot longer in her castle and experienced new and different things. She learned to appreciate Wonderland’s madness but at the same time she never lost her own sense of reality and logic. Instead, she just made the two work together in a more balanced way. Perhaps cohabiting in the castle also made the Queen of Hearts soften up and realize that maybe ‘her way’ isn’t just the only way. She became less childish, still short-tempered though, but overall has a character development. Years later, Alice became the heir to Wonderland and eventually the next Queen of Hearts.
Scar - Honestly? Haven’t seen Lion King ever. But, for the sake of the butterfly effect, Scar intended to kill Mufasa and Simba to rule over Pride Rock but he stopped himself and instead thought it was better to guide Simba and make his nephew dependent on him. Of course, just like how I like my tropes, Scar becomes fond of Simba in a tsun-tsun way and thinks ‘his father is stupid, might as well teach him stuff so he doesn’t end up like his father and end up killing himself’. Simba soon takes over as a great leader, looking to Scar for advice whenever needed but ultimately an independent and sharp thinker just as Scar taught him to be.
Ursula - Instead of trying to trick Ariel using the loopholes in the contract, she went for a wait-and-see attitude to let Ariel see that the human prince she fell in love with at first sight isn’t as nice as he seemed to be and let the mermaid break the contract out of her violation. Of course misunderstandings and that stuff was soon bound to happen since Ariel couldn’t talk properly with the prince so she went to Ursula and decided in the heat of the moment to become a Sea Witch and help other merfolk like her. Ursula, thinking that molding and using Triton’s daughter was much better and was more a secure way to get back at Triton, accepted Ariel as her apprentice. But gradually, she learned to care for Ariel like her own daughter and strived to actually fix her reputation in the Seven Seas as a Sea Witch.
Jafar - Also another movie I haven’t seen. But for the sake of the butterfly effect again, let’s say he wanted power so he would be respected. Let’s also ignore and pretend the trying to marry Jasmine, who’s 16 years old mind you, thing never happened for our sake. He desired power and to be respected so when he saw that Jasmine was besotted with Aladdin, he thought, ‘Why don’t I use this street urchin who knows nothing of palace politics to become my puppet once he inevitably becomes the married to the princess’ because obviously Aladdin’s words are going to have weight since he’d be known as the princess’ husband. Of course, as I would like to have it, he began to care for both Aladdin and Jasmine as time went on and the two began to respect all the work that Jafar had to do. He would also even become the godfather of their future children. Both he and Genie would even fight for the title of the best godfather.
Evil Queen - Instead of trying to kill Snow White to become the fairest in the land, the Evil Queen thought that it would be advantageous if the people saw her as ‘benevolent’ and ‘kind’. That way, people wouldn’t only call her beautiful in looks but also beautiful in heart, thus spreading her name out more to distant lands. Initially, she just thought of Snow White as a charity case, with her losing both her father and mother but grew to care for her as time went on. Inevitably, she also realized that although Snow White was considered fairest of all, the citizens still called her beautiful for her heart which made her realize that she shouldn’t need to be the most beautiful in looks to be the most beautiful in people’s eyes. She also taught Snow White a lot of things ranging from sorceries and witchcraft and to keep on striving to be the most beautiful of all, both outside and inside.
Hades - Eh, what was his dastardly evil goal again? He wanted to take over Olympus, right? But that could only be possible if Hercules didn’t fight him. So what does he do? Does he go and attempt to kill baby Hercules? Of course… not! Not unless who wants to die, damn, the baby has strength. He instead decides to raise Hercules himself since the Fates said that he’d be successful in taking over Olympus after 18 years so why not just keep Hercules close to prevent him from gaining power and indebted the boy to him? It worked, for the most part anyway. He became a father figure to Hercules, obviously. Sure, Hercules felt slightly betrayed when he found out Hades wasn’t actually his father and he got kidnapped as a baby but then went all, ‘Eh, the underworld’s gloomy and the other gods never visit Fath–Hades. Might as well rule Olympus and invite Hades over to get him out of this place and get some fresh air.’ Hades may have not specifically ruled over Olympus but Hercules, whom he considered as a son as time went on, did so it was kind of basically the same.
Maleficent - Here, Aurora’s parents considered leaving Maleficent in the invitation but changed their mind at the last second because, hello? Maleficent? You really want to exclude the strongest sorcerer? Lmao, if this was politics, you’d automatically be dead the moment you stepped into the battlefield for trying to antagonize a powerful person. Make her your ally, get on her good side, and that’s what Aurora’s parents actually did in this timeline. They invited her and although the other fairies were wary of Maleficient, all of them were civil. Turns out, Maleficient was a chill person as long as no one antagonized her. In the end, Maleficent became a somewhat decent godmother to Aurora. She’s kind of like that dramatic aunt that appears every now and then but Aurora’s vibing with it and always looked forward to Maleficent's visits and witnessing her magic.
Although Yuu isn’t really related to the Great Seven, their parents did (kind of) get adopted so that still counts as being the Great Seven’s descendant, especially when it was the Great Seven themselves who were acting as their godmother/godfather and teaching them all kinds of stuff. Now that I think about it, Yuu’s technically the main character’s descendant rather than the villains but eh, let’s ignore that.
So anyway, basically with the single flap of a butterfly’s wings, it drastically changed history and Yuu grew up as the descendent of one of the Great Sevens. And then they get yeeted to Twisted Wonderland.
Imagine Yuu, looking at the statue of their ancestor and becoming haughty and proud because of  course their ‘meemaw/peepaw’ is great! It’s only right to celebrate them!
Not to mention pitting Yuu against the overblot boys.
Any sign of disrespect given to Yuu, the heir of the Queen of Hearts, is immediately dealt with by Yuu themselves. Their mood shifts as quick as they are to get angry, much like Queen of Hearts. Imagine Riddle trying to ‘Off With Your Head!’ Yuu, only for Yuu to counter back with an even angrier ‘Off With YOUR Head!’
Vil meets Yuu, heir of Snow White’s Kingdom, and he’s immediately threatened because this person gives him Neige vibes! What’s worse was, they seemed interested in watching them make poison so Yuu almost constantly never leave them alone and people are starting to compare the two of them!
Then there’s Azul who tries to rope Yuu, heir of the Seven Seas, in with a contract only to be dealt with an Uno Reverse card and have Yuu attempt to rope HIM in with a contract.
Of course, Yuu doesn’t tell the inhabitants of Twisted Wonderland that the Great Seven they look up to so much were their godparents back in their own world. They were smart enough not to get themselves mobbed by people. They wouldn’t be a very good heir to their kingdoms now would they if they didn’t know how to keep people in line, no?

One thing that still gets my blood boiling is some people telling the traumatised students to just 'get over it', leave their abusers, or to hurt/kill their tormentors as if it's a walk in the park. Um, hello? That's not how trauma works.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeeeah, I find that kinda iffy as well 😬 I don’t feel that it’s quite “right” (for lack of a better term) to judge/compare people’s (/character’s) pain resulting from trauma, or to tell them how they should “fix” said trauma or whatever bad situation they may be in.
**Please note: the rest of this discussion will include mentions of victim blaming and gaslighting; please proceed with caution.***
The problem with doing any of that (even if it is done out of concern or a desire to help people) is that it comes off as like… belittling the victim or downplaying the problem at times?? Like, if you compare traumatic experiences, it can imply that one is “lesser than” or isn’t as serious as the other when the circumstances are just as serious to each victim. (I see this happen most commonly with Vil and Azul; they both experienced bullying in their youth, but for whatever reason people tend to think Vil somehow had it "easy" compared to Azul.) That’s so disheartening and invalidating for any victim to hear. It makes them feel isolated and alone, because the people around them are implying their circumstances aren’t that bad. In reality, it’s not up to onlookers to decide how distressing or disturbing an experience is to someone else.
Telling them what to do is just as unhelpful because it takes away the autonomy of the victim, and the advice given is often unrealistic and unable to actually be carried out. (As another example, the advice I see most often is "Jamil should have just told Kalim he was unhappy with his position and Kalim would have helped him; rarely do fans consider that the Viper family's livelihood would be in jeopardy and Jamil would live in perpetual shame and guilt if he dared to speak out.) How can Jamil and Leona just “get over” a whole life of being put down? How can Riddle just walk out on his mother when he doesn’t have any means to support himself and struggles to even talk back to her? How can it be said that Vil has it better than Azul when both of them were clearly hurt by the bullying they received as children? How can one rush Idia’s grieving process or Malleus’s struggle to accept change and mortality? And if any of them are encouraged to act out in violence, what are the repercussions of that?
We oftentimes forget that, despite Twisted Wonderland taking place in a world with nonsensical elements like magic, the way it chooses to address problems is actually very much grounded in reality. For example, the end of every main story episode isn't really "the end" or a "resolution". Those terms imply that the problem is over when the episode is when it's really not. We proceed in the story with an awareness that the characters we saw last time are still struggling with the trauma they had before. They aren't "fixed" just because they were given good advice or they were beaten in battle until they came to their senses. Their problems didn't magically poof away, the victims are still working on overcoming their horrific experiences and not letting it have power over them. This is a very realistic depiction of trauma and how victims live and have to cope with it in their everyday lives.
A lot of the things the OB boys experiences are things that people irl have as well. This is, in part, what makes them such memorable and relatable characters, and why people may look to them for comfort or to help cope with their own trauma--so they don't feel alone. At the same time, it is because of this closeness and relatability that it can be hurtful when others make comments that talk down to the OB boys and their trauma. It's not always discussed in a mindful manner. Sometimes it's spoken about in a way that sounds like victim-blaming or gaslighting. It's almost as if to imply, "look, it's actually SO easy to fix your problem, so the fact that it has gone on for as long as it has is actually your fault", or, “you're in a much better situation than Person B is, so be grateful!” Unfortunately, it's reflective of behavior demonstrated in real life, with people either doubting or not believing victims,or acting like they know better than the person who has actually gone through something traumatic.
Whether you find yourself relating to the OB boys or not... Whether you have experienced something you deem traumatic for yourself or not... I think it would be nice if we were just a bit more respectful when it comes to talking about these matters 🥲 It shouldn't be a competition where we're sitting around ranking whose trauma is "the worst" (I have literally been sent an ask like this before and it made me extremely uncomfortable💦) or giving unsolicited, unrealistic advice the characters couldn't actually take. We can realize how damaging their individual experiences have been for them and wish them all the best without putting down others' experiences or talking down to them in the process.

Twisted-Wonderland: Azul Ashengrotto —Aesthetic
Tumblr media
Azul Ashengrotto's Character & Personality
Azul is the Octavinelle Housewarden. However, he's well known around NRC because, rumors float around about him being capable of granting any wish one desires with the exchange of said person's most prided quality. In reality, the way in which Azul deals work only benefits himself while leaving the other party fruitless. At first, he comes off as 'friendly' and willing to 'help' others. Azul is also intelligent in arranging words, aka. manipulation. A deal may seem precise to the client's wish, but the words are arranged to have 'grey areas', to scam his client. Azul is sly, being able to convince almost anyone to sign a contract with him. He's quite skilled in every aspect where his benevolent demeanor belies an extremely calculating personality. Thus, Azul gathers information in all forms. Despite all this, he's quite insecure, especially about his "chubby" octopus form, as he's been socially isolated by the other mermaids. Although he was bullied for his sluggishness and ink-spewing tendencies as an octopus mermaid, Azul realized the perks of his octopus-mer form at a young age. He used his many limbs and ability to spew ink to aid him. Since Azul studied magic non-stop, he managed to develop his signature spell while young. Overtime, he still has insecurities about his past self but accepts who he used to be without shame. In addition, Azul stops tricking his customers. Instead of exchanging through contracts, he uses a point-card system at his café on campus. Now, customers can purchase drinks to earn points and exchange them for a consultation with him. In which, Azul offers the same wish-granting services. This reflects his fondness for making money.

Yuu thoughts about ch7 (spoilers)
Imagine if the theme of Yuu not being present continues and Yuu is forced to see people who genuinely care about them existing in these "perfect" realities that don't include them and doubt their friendship. Their friends think that it's Malleus's fault, and maybe Yuu does too but that doesn't change that it feels/looks like no one was thinking of them further cementing Yuu's desire to go home. Maybe Crowley uses those insecurities to convince Yuu their time in Twisted Wonderland really was an accident and that they need to just... accept whatever sketchy plan he has to get them home without telling any of them. It's not like they would miss them, they have proof.
If you have a ship you like think of how devastating it would be for Yuu to see someone they have a crush on/are in a relationship with acting like they'd be happier if they never met. Imagine someone who is deeply in love with Yuu realizing that they may have lost the chance to have/keep the meaningful relationship and future with them they wanted because of a dream they had no control over.
Or if you want something more wholesome imagine them immediately falling in love with Yuu all over again as soon as they appear in their dream completely ignoring everything Silver is trying to tell them because they are more concerned with hitting on Yuu or making a good first impression.
On a more serious note I am sort of curious about whether or not anyone else is sharing a dream like Yuu and Grim were. The twins come to mind since that could keep either of them from noticing something is off about the other brother's behavior, but we technically traveled to Mickey's dream not one unique to us. You could argue it's to avoid showing what Yuu's ideal dream would be but I'm more inclined to say it has something to do with who Yuu and Grim are to Twisted Wonderland. Silver has traveled to Mickey's dream before and the dream disappearing when Mickey wakes up would sort of defeat Malleus's purpose of keep everyone sleeping and happy because it looks like we would have just died right then and there.
Can you imagine just how devastating it would be for Yuu's friends to finally be woken up from their nightmares to find Yuu and Grim were dead all along because Malleus didn't bother to create an ideal dream world for them. Because he either couldn't on account of refusing to not treat people like objects or wouldn't because their ideal world wasn't in line with his. Can you imagine Malleus being forced to face the death of someone I would argue he does care about as a direct consequence of his actions. I think Silver could be woken up with true love's kiss... but I am not certain about Alice and her cat.

Dear Shifters,
(post under the cut).
My relationship with shifting has been... complicated. I first found the shifting community in 2020, and tried to shift into Danganronpa (because I was a cringy quarantined teenager).
It did not work. Luckily, I saved myself from the trauma of shifting to a literal killing game. Please do not even attempt what I did. I am fortunate enough to not have that be my first successful shifting.
Then I stopped for... years? I've lost count. I suffer with clinical depression, so the main issue was motivation. It was not working as fast as I wanted it to, and so I stopped. Why reality shift or quantum jump, when I could just maladaptively daydream like I always had?
However, I had an experience recently, that has urged me to put real effort into shifting. To try it and pick it up again. The post is on my main account, and is linked here. I made it as soon as I returned to my current reality.
After I had this "dream", I did some researching. I wanted desperately to go back to this world, whatever it was. Daydreaming suddenly became not enough for me.
That was when I realized some odd things about the dream.
I remembered smells. I felt real touch. I remembered voices. Even if I struggled to remember faces, I eventually remembered them after I had made my original post.
This wasn't just an ordinary dream. I had shifted. It was completely unintentional, and I don't even know what reality I somehow ended up in, but it was real. I was real. And so were the people around me.
I eventually determined that I had shifted during the void state, where I was on the verge of being asleep and being awake. Since I have discovered these things, I have begun trying every morning and night to shift. This time, I want it to be intentional, and I am shifting to Twisted Wonderland.
I believe a Twisted Wonderland DR is a good place to start, because I can begin without any of the people there personally knowing me. I can more naturally build up relationships. I have been trying to shift to this DR for the past three days now.
The closest I have gotten was actually midday, when my mom was out with my siblings. However, just as I felt I was about to shift (as my symptoms were quite intense and I was seeing lots of white flashes), they came home and started shouting for me, breaking me back to my current reality. I was a bit frustrated, but I didn't let it show.
I have not told anyone about this. I have not even told my significant other about my shifting attempts. I mostly worry that they would think I'm weird, or not mentally sane.
My hope is that, once I successfully shift to Twisted Wonderland (because I will), then I can begin trying to shift back to that world I accidentally shifted to. With Ruan, and Eelia, and Gracie, and Honeycomb, and Mom. And all of my doll friends and sentient plushies.
I will shift, and soon. I can feel it. Maybe even tonight. I can.

TWST MAFIA AU SORTA GALORE OF INFO
ehehehe I'm up to no good...
WARNING: in-depth depictions of crime, mentions of drugs, ring fights, animal trafficking, extortion, assassination, doxxing and other cybercrimes, gore, people trafficking, and other really bad stuff of the sort. PLEASE AVOID THIS IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE GRAPHIC DEPICTIONS OF HEAVY TOPICS IN GENERAL, THIS MAY GO WITH LOTS OF THOSE FROM ALL SORTS. note:I'll try to keep everypost about my mafia au with the text under the cut, so no one is triggered, as well as tagging properly. anything needed to be tagged that I don't cover please tell me. I am not afraid of delving into heavy topics of all sorts, and as such if the existence of this makes you uncomfortable, I will not be sad or mad to be blocked. Do what your health desires <3 Now onto the gruesome sights...
The Basics: As we may all know, Twisted Wonderland is a world full of sights to observe, culture to delve into, and all sorts of wonders. It is no different expected from a Wonderland. But if you delve closer, you may see that Twisted is much tamer than what really goes on in this world. The bane of the existence of a heavily capitalistic and globalized world is, of course, that as long as there is demand, there will be products to sell. Behind the curtains of pretty places and delightful music and cuisine, you may find yourself seeing some of the worst things happening to others. The heads, who control all of this monopoly over all sorts of twisted and gruesome acts, have their favorite heirs to this dangerous, yet extremely rewarding throne of crime. Those lucky ones are sent to the place that, on the outside, looks like the perfect magical academia, with only the most capable students and fierce-minded people, but soon you will find the reality when the doors close and the back ones open. Night Raven College is supposed to be a normal magical academy, that is on the paper, but when we were in need, we resorted to getting in debt with some of the most gut-wrenching people of all twisted Wonderland, and now we retribute by letting their... trainees, we will say, study and do their deeds there. They get the knowledge of the (metaphorical) underworld, and NRC gets enough funds for all we may need. Ain't I- I mean, the Headmage ever so generous?
The Dorms: Why, it is common knowledge that the different uniforms mean different dorms, but what does this entail, in this newfound context? Glad you asked! The Dorms selection used to not be biased but... that ended up on a whole new set of troubles... So now the dorm selection is, of course, by the Dark Mirror, but sometimes I- I mean, the Headmage finds there were "troubles" when dealing with the paperwork, and the student will be residing in another dorm for... a while, let's put it that way. That while can change, of course! but sometimes... it is not a good thing to change what is already good.
The Heartslabyul dorm, ever so strict about the rules! They make sure their exotic and wild animals are well-tended before they are sent to their new homes, with their brand-new owners. It is well known that Heartslabyul students have a heavy Animal Linguistics course, for the heads in the Queendom of Roses always need more animals. What if their delightful clients want a pink hedgehog instead of a blue one? The students need to deal with that, over the overlook of their dear housewarden Riddle Rosehearts. Just make sure to not anger him, as he has a tendency to Off people's heads. Sometimes he may even get... too literal.
The Savanaclaw dorm is persistent in keeping their pack. If you are one of them, you are not getting off the hook so easily. Always troublemakers though, love to pick a fight with the weaker. It is like the King of Beast's though himself: the weaker follow the stronger and smarter ones. Their rings tend to be open on the school basement or on the dorm training grounds at night, but don't be fooled, if you are seen there, you are under the One and Only, the rejected prince Leona Kingscholar's rules. If he says you fight, you do. We don't anger a lion, do we?
The Ocatvinelle dorm, so kind and benevolent to lend their works to other dorms. These students seem to always have contacts with the big people, and are always so kind to lend these contacts... for a price, of course. Don't take them for fools now, they will want a bit of this, and a bit of that. It is only fair right? An Eye for an Eye, a Leg for a Leg, how people say. Azul Ashengrotto makes sure everything is always prim and proper in case some dorm might need to stuck stuff in the confinements of this sub-aquatic dorm. But... he may ask for a price some are not willing to pay.
The Sacarbia dorm is always mindful of their allies as much as of their enemies. They are quiet in their work, as being loud would make them as disposable as their targets. When you look into it more, you will find that a student going missing is normal, and if they talked with housewarden Kalim Al-Asim, then you should be worried. How can someone who looks as innocent and sweet do what he does? No one knows and, frankly, do you even want to risk questioning it?
The Pomefiore dorm is tenacious with the quality of its products. The Fairest Queen didn't walk so that they would crawl, after all. They seem to be Professor Crewel's favorites when it comes to alchemy and potionology classes, and no wonder, as their potions, curses and drugs are some of the most deadly a person can take. Housewarden Vil Schoenheit makes it a point to everything be only the most perfect, and if not, he might curse it himself so it will do just as good. He has no pity when it comes to imperfections.
The Ignhyde dorm, Full of diligent people who know their place and do what they need to do. Of course they would do as they are told, but although they lack the strength of a Savanclaw student, and the charms of a Pomefiore one, they make it up in knowledge of technomancy. Just say who, and they have everything about them. Criminal record? Wiped. IP? Doxxed. Anything that is online, they can and will know. And if they don't, Just go to Idia Shroud, he seems to be happy to show just how smart he is by completely wiping evidence of someone's existence, or hacking databanks to feed to scams. They work great ways with Octavinelle on the "marketing" side.
The Diasomnia dorm and the nobility it helds from even being in it. Something not many can afford, really. While they seem quiet and mysterious, as most expect, the loud and nosy ones are the worst. Moles between the products, how they are called. They not only see themselves as above but will do all they can to prove their point, be that dismembering someone limb by limb, and seeing how long they go while still alive and conscious before releasing them of their suffering. Or maybe even holding the troublesome students in the Diasomnia basement, where they will meet their end one day, be to be the next heart to a great mage, or the slave to a rich countess. Malleus Draconia, if that even is his real name, is the one in charge in here, and what he lacks in social cues, he makes up in the strength to lead those under him. He reminds some of a king with an iron fist, who is not afraid to throw some peasants in the dungeons to make room for the nobles.
The Ramshackle dorm, once in disuse, is now up and running again with this strange human. They have no knowledge of magic, although their monster companion seems to get that just enough to pass, but... something about that human. It drives the others near, it makes them want to know what goes on in their little brain. Who knows if they will show themself capable of a role in this twisted world?

So, the next fanfic that I'm planning to write is a Vil x Reader fanfic that takes place during chapter 5. This fanfic is fulfilling my desire to put Vil in his place during VDC rehearsals and such. I love Vil, but someone needed to reality check him earlier in the chapter. I also thought wouldn't it be really funny if Vil got closer to and ended up falling for the person who verbally smacked him a little and saw potential in him and decided to help him... I find it hilarious, because it just seems so plausible.
Also be excited for vulnerable, soft Vil, because I'm a whore for vulnerable moments of real connection between romantic interests. It's so good! I'm also excited for the romantic dynamic between the two because I have a feeling that it's going to be a situation where Vil feels like he can completely be himself without restraint around the reader, which is huge.
Be excited! It'll probably be awhile, but quality over quantity I suppose lol.
BTW IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER CANON-ESC IDEAS, I BEG YOU TO SEND ME SOMETHING. I'm a lonely soul lol, but no if you ever read twisted wonderland and wanted the MC to have done something differently tell me. Hit me up. Give me your ideas. I love this kind of fanfic ideas and I intend to create more of it for you all lol

Thoughts on the idea of eggman doing horribly vile shit but still wanting to be seen as in the right for it, like “oh I’m not making them slaves it’s protective robot skin haha”
Feel like it could be an interesting twist on his char, kinda got some of those vibes from the park in colors, the full corporate speak and like, trying to make this obviously evil plan look not evil, feel like there’s a lot to be done there
I love love looove it, that's what I was expressing a desire to share more concepts of just the other day. I have some I've been meaning to share but my favorite part is when he finally drops the act and shows his true colors and mocks them for it like a cold hearted bastard so I focus on that most lol. I do wanna delve into the build up more though.
He has indeed done it in various official media already like X, Archie, games, and promo material and I absolutely loved every instance of it. But since I'm a game canon guy primarily I'm just gonna focus on that for this reply, though in the future I'm probably going to share what I liked about the cases even outside them because I appreciate it in many places.
I love how one of the things about how he likes to take things that are generally considered childish like toys, theme parks, carnivals, circuses, etc and has his own twisted fucked up spin on it is how it can also be used to lure people in with the bright colors and usually perceived innocence of it. The times Eggman has played into it is interesting.
With Eggmanland in Unleashed, he was upfront about the hell on earth that it was to Sonic because he knew he wouldn't have believed his trickery, plus he takes pride in the fact. He enjoyed teasing him with the "If you have any complaints, come deliver them to me in person. If you can, that is!" to emphasize that it was the theme park of horror >:)
Plus the atmosphere was a lot darker so despite the neon colors, it probably wouldn't have fooled anyone Sonic or not. But he still had the Eggshop be a thing where horrible sawdust and motor oil tasting food was sold to make it horrible and unpleasant for his sadistic amusement, so maybe he would've hoped to trick people regardless?
We don't get to know for sure there but in Colors he wants lots of visitors and he really had to do some immense trickery make sure it seemed innocent and appealing enough to get them to use a space elevator to travel all the way up there lol. It's a lot more colorful and fun looking than the more dark and polluted looking Eggmanland from afar.
So for the Interstellar Park, the trickery is both in its design and his words with how he pretended it was a happy wonderland of fun with nothing to do with any evil plot or premeditated misdeeds. What I love is how once you've gotten all the way up there in space, you're fucked. You'll get messed up and killed one way or another.
In his PAs when you're actually inside, the act is dropped quick. He lies about some of it being safer than it looks but for the most part? All his lines are brutally honest about how messed up it really is, with the Wisps he harmed, blatantly acknowledges the dangers of the rides and planets, and how they can cause death, horror, and fear.
I love how sadistic he is in the PAs and his morbid humor that reveals how truly sick he is and that this park was created for anything but pure innocent reasons. He intended for the rides to be deadly and food to be bad and finds it very amusing. He probably loves the idea of these tricked people coming in and quickly becoming horrified and afraid.
But it still looks so colorful and fun from afar! It's so beautiful and with the joys he promises, how could you not want to go? So while it works to lure people in, it can also give its true horrors even more impact when visitors expect something nice but the dangerous disturbing and terrifying reality is revealed and I'm sure that's very appealing to him too.
So you get this funny combination of him both trying to deceive you but then quickly becoming brutally honest as soon as you're successfully trapped in it. This is exactly what happened in the SPINGEAR ride too, where he was immediately like "haha sike you're actually in for a terrible time!" as soon as the ride began and was loving it.
But I think the idea of him playing the long game with his trickery and deceit is interesting too. We've mostly only seen cases where it's a lot quicker like that but he's set up well for him to do an elaborate scheme of dragging it out for longer and the impact would hit extra hard after all that time too, which he'd definitely enjoy and mock after.
The Eggman Empire propaganda Sonic Forces promo video was cool because Eggman was trying to convince people the world being a dark polluted hellscape is actually a good thing, which reflects his twisted idea of a "perfect" world shaped his image, where he has the power of the control and the sadistic enjoyment of the harsh conditions.
Then because people obviously need the clean air to live, he tries to trick them into thinking robotomy is a wonderful helpful treatment for it. That never needing to eat, sleep, or think again is a good thing and that they'll love it. When really it's a trick to get them to submit to him, have control over them and strip them of their freedom and free will.
But there's an eerie glimpse at how he really knows none of this right with how he says love is mandatory. Once he's tricked them and they've submitted and given up their freedom and will, he can use them as he pleases and keep them controlled and brainwashed but if they do realize how fucked up it is there's no going back, they're trapped in it now.
I'd really like to see more of that, where he tries to tell people the vile things he does are genuinely great, for their own good, are nice and selfless of him and genuinely beneficial for them. Where he manages to manipulate so well to the point of mass delusion and brainwashing with people that follow him believing he's doing something the right thing.
It's good to be a mindless slave under his control, never having to think for yourself again! Trapping living beings in robots improves upon nature and is better and more beneficial than natural! The deadly attractions are what real fun and excitement really is! The brutal sadistic punishments if they fall out of line is for their own good! There's no meaning to life if it isn't to serve him and the world is better under his control!
And the idea of people actually believing that in the Sonic universe and following him is interesting to think about. Even though it bothers me when people do it in real life and believe his lies and think he actually has good intentions but I mean hey, they give me an example of what it'd be like at least. Eggman really is a good actor, props to him! XD
I have a few ideas I'd like to share in the future. Showing love, care, and false acts of kindness to trick and manipulate, or not even hiding his vile actions but managing to convince people it's good or that the end justifies the means, and have them falling for it and he sees how far he can take it makes it especially impactful and devastating.
Delusion, deceit, manipulation, and gaslighting in general is very fascinating to me after years of experiencing it and I've always wanted to understand it from the perpetrator's perspective and portray it as dark and disturbing as it really is. It's always been interesting for me to explore in Eggman too, from when he's manipulating specific characters to the masses. I've actually been researching big cases of mass delusion in history again lately so this is timely.
Pulling people into the empire with the lie that it's something great that will benefit everyone but their leader has much darker intentions and the true final outcome will benefit only himself, but he strings them along on a lie, brainwashes them, and has control though mind games and trickery is fascinating and thrillingly devious.
Then slowly or abruptly realizing it's a lie and the impact when it all comes crashing down and Eggman spits and laughs in their face and mocks them for having a heart and wanting to see good in him/believing and having hope in good coming from it. It emphasizes his coldness and cruelty and how much of a threat he is even to the mind.
And if that happens he'll try to shut down their doubts and lie more to keep them deluded because he knows just what they want to hear and promises them they'll get it. So if they don't believe it's right, the ends justify the means. And if that doesn't work, he'll threaten them to keep them in so they can't leave, or have them dealt with.
But he's so good at taking advantage of people's vulnerabilities, saying what they want to hear, and embedding lies so deeply into their minds to warp reality into what he wants them to believe that sometimes they may be too far gone and never see the truth. And he takes it to the darkest places, using them all up and harming them and they die in vain.
Every outcome has the potential to be very fascinating, entertaining, and impactful!

you're a sick twisted fuck, you know that right? you think you can just say whatever the fuck you want and there won't be consequences for it. That's what you think right? I know it is. Because you would not have fucking sent me this ask if you thought otherwise. Well I'm about to give you a little "reality check" because this isn't some fairy tale wonderland where you can do everything your heart desires– THIS IS REAL LIFE YOU BITCH. You would've been shot in the streets for this shit, but you're lucky I'm merciful. You better go home right now and think of what you've fucking done. Take a long, long time to reflect on this. And think twice before you ever do some wicked shit like this ever again.

I’m a little in denial about everything with Lilia but I gotta ask: Do you think Malleus OB can “fix” Lilia in a certain way? Like how sometimes hibernation gives second wind to animals (or how humans feel better after naps.
I am very well aware I’m grasping at straws. I just don’t want my tied for favorite boy to die.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I… don’t think that’s possible, no matter how much we may want it to be.
When Vil greets Lilia at the farewell party, he asks Lilia point-blank if there “really is no other way”. Vil recalls his own predicament returning from Styx HQ as a withered old man and how Malleus was able to restore him to his youth. He asks if Malleus can do the same for Lilia so he can retain his magic and stay enrolled at NRC. To this, Lilia explicitly states that is isn’t possible. “Malleus said it himself: he cannot turn back time.” The only reason Malleus could help Vil was because some external factor robbed Vil of his time; the same is not true of Lilia, who is losing his fight with time (something everyone will naturally succumb to eventually).
Things in the world of Twisted Wonderland are destined to move forward and change, in spite of how much one may wish to remain in their current blissful, carefree school days. All Malleus is doing now in his OB state is prolonging the inevitable because he cannot accept, nor reverse, that change. The whole point of these events and the buildup to it is that “no matter how much power or magic Malleus has, he cannot do anything to change his circumstances”.
Now, I don’t know if that necessarily means TWST will actually permakill Lilia (because he is an integral part of the main cast and marketing) 💦 If time loop or dream theory turns out to be real, then it’s possible some external forces or other deux ex machina could save Lilia…? But at the same time, saving Lilia would kind of detract from what Malleus would have to learn about mortality, friendships, and change. I have no idea what direction the story is planning to go with him from hereon out or how dark the devs will be allowed to go. We’re waiting with baited breath for what’s next 🥲
Side note, I wanted to share something I noticed while thinking about how to respond to this question. So… the wording of the ask is very telling and reflective of the current state of the TWST fandom. “I’m a little in denial about everything […]”, and, “I am very well aware I’m grasping at straws. I just don’t want […]” Don’t we realize it???? We sound exactly like Malleus. We’re in denial about what’s happening and we don’t want things to change.
I wonder if this was planned out from the very beginning. The devs getting us invested in the world of TWST and its characters, only to threaten to take it all away at the very end. This relates exactly with lines Malleus drops about his beloved virtual pet: “Gao-Gao Dragon-kun is fictitious, he more or less exists in a fairy tale. If that is the case, then I don’t see a reason to put a (30 day limit) on his lifespan.” Lilia chimes in, agreeing that it is like a “never ending fantasy”, but then points out that it is because you need to eventually say goodbye that you will cherish the time spent together all the more. Notice their phrasing, all the references to desiring a fairy tale which never ends. That is what we, the players AND Malleus, want. We want to stay like this, forever and ever, locked in one place. We don’t want Lilia to go, we don’t want the third years to leave on their internships, we don’t want the students to graduate and leave us.
This is what fiction like TWST provides for us, an escape from reality, where magical things happen and we’re surrounded by fun people who always stay with you no matter how much you change in the real world—and now TWST is challenging that notion. Is it really right to want to live in an eternal dream like this, at the cost of fabricating your happiness?? Or is it better to wake up and face reality, no matter how harsh it may be?? Even if our loved ones will leave, even if Lilia will die? This is both what Malleus and we, the players, need to come to terms with, rather than continue to delude and convince ourselves to stay in “the dream” with a false sense of security.
