• Five Times You Share A Night With Twilight + The One Time You Do Something About It •
Summary: exactly what the title says.
Warnings/tags: GN! Reader, Hurt/Comfort, tooth rotting fluff, some comedy between the group, flirty Twi, there’s only one bed. Safe for Everyone.
Author’s Notes: I ain’t gonna lie y’all, this one is longer than what I usually write. I hope you enjoy it! Written by Mishwanders
{1}
After a long period of traversing through the woods of Hyrule, the Chain and you were finally able to make camp for the evening. As you were placing down your bed roll for the night, you took notice as to who was around you. To your surprise,someone was missing.
“Anyone seen Twi?”
The others looked around as well at each other, but all of them either shrugged or shook their heads in response.
“I’m sure he’ll be back soon. He probably just went to secure the perimeter.” Legend reassured you.
You nodded, continuing to pull out the rest of your stuff for the night. You took the measure to pull out Twilight’s bed roll as well from his pack, placing it down beside your own, just in case he came back and everyone else outside of the watch were asleep. You smiled to yourself as you made sure it was laid out nice and neat, placing his pillow and blanket at the head of it so he wouldn’t have to go digging for his things in the dark. As you were doing so, you happened to catch the attention of Wild who was eyeing you where he was stationed with the food. You shrugged at him and he gave you a knowing nod.
By the time that dinner had been eaten and the campfire dealt with, you all fell into your respective areas of respite, each of the Links dozing off one by one, all except for the watcher off in the distance and you.
You couldn’t help but toss and turn the entire night, constantly looking over at Twilight’s sleeping bag, wishing he were there next to you. It’s not that you liked him (at least that’s what you kept telling yourself), you just liked having him close by. His presence was always warm and comforting, he was gracious enough to allow you to borrow his bear pelt when you got cold too. You felt as if you could relax in his presence compared to some of the more strict and rigid personalities of a few of the others (don’t even try to ask Legend of a blanket - it’s probably cursed anyway).
You stayed up longer, waiting to see when he would show, but as your eyelids began to grow heavier, you could hear the slow trot of paws against the rough ground. The dark shadowy figure of Wolfie came approaching you, sniffing vigorously at the bed roll Twilight should have been in. You slowly sat up to rest on an elbow, alerting the wolf that you were still awake. You greeted him with a smile and a small whisper.
“Twi’s not back yet. If you want, can you come sleep with me instead.” You stated, opening up your blanket to show there was room.
The wolf stared at you for a moment, blue eyes taking in the situation at hand. You weren’t even 100% sure he would take the offer - he typically preferred to sleep next to Wild. But to your surprise, the beast agreed, walking closer to you and plopping down beside you under your raised arm. It took everything in you not to squeal over the fact that Wolfie actually chose to stay by your side tonight (ya know, and not Wild, since he apparently likes him so much). You slowly lowered your arm down over him, allowing the blanket to encompass you both, keeping your arm gently on his fur. You laid your head back down on your pillow, gently stroking a small area of Wolfie’s fur, feeling him snuggle even closer to you. The wolf smelt like cedar - a common scent you knew that followed Twilight as well. It was comforting having the beast with you, feeling how warm he was next to you. He was like a heater biting off the cold night air. You found yourself growing more and more relaxed with him by your side. Twilight may not have been here, but Wolfie was, and with him by your side, you found yourself easily drifting to sleep for the rest of the night.

The Chain had traveled far off through another portal chasing after the Shadow that quickly got away without a trace. After a while of searching for the malevolent beast, you all decided to make camp once more for the evening, preparing for what was hopefully a restful night ahead. As you pulled out your bedroom, you noticed Twilight with his own, coming up beside you to lay out his next to yours. You gave him a warm smile, pleasantly surprised to see him. “Back so soon?”
“Time said he’d take over securing the perimeter tonight.” Twilight replied, dropping his bedroll draping along the ground.
You nodded, watching him pillow out his blanket and pillow. “How thoughtful of him.”
Twilight breathed out a laugh and smiled. “He can be when he wants to. Speakin’ o’ which, it was thoughtful of you to take care of Wolfie.”
He was looking directly at you when he spoke of his beloved beastly friend. His pretty blue eyes sparkling in the firelight caused an embarrassed heat to erupt over your face at his praise. “I-It was no problem! I was awake anyway and honestly I felt kind of honored. He never chooses me!”
With that you heard Wild, Legend, and Sky snickering to the side, knowing full well that they all heard you. Twilight shot them a look, which didn’t deter their behavior quite like Time’s did, but it was good enough for Wild to stop in his tracks. Twilight shook his head at their behavior and turned his attention back to you.
“Don’t listen to ‘em. Besides, I know Wolfie was very happy to sleep next to you.” Twilight reassured you.
“Oh yeah? What are you, some kind of animal whisperer?” You asked playfully.
He chuckled at that comment. “I’ve known Wolfie for long ‘nough to know he appreciated a warm bed for once.”
“I wouldn’t mind having him back as a cuddle buddy.” You laughed, “He was a soft heater throughout the night.”
“I’ll let him know, I know he’ll be more than happy to take you up on that offer.” He replied, a smile plastered on his face, looking sweeter than honey.
“Uh huh, sure he will.” Legend interrupted, gaining your attention. You raised an eyebrow in confusion at him.
“Oh, can it Vet.” Wars spoke up from the otherside of the fire, already in his bed.
“You can’t tell me what to do.” Vet snapped back.
“Yeah, shouldn’t you be getting your ‘beauty sleep’ anyway?” Wind chimed in.
Wars feigned hurt, lifting his eye mask to look at it. “Not you too, Sailor.”
You looked over towards Four and Hyrule, who were laughing at the words being thrown back and forth in front of them before Time silently stalked up behind them all. You laughed as his voice boomed, startling the ever living daylights out of them - a shrill scream leaving the two just caused more laughter to erupt from the group. Time shook his head and chuckled. “He may not be able to tell you what to do, but I can. You’re taking the second shift Vet, so I’d get that shut eye while you can.”
Legend grimaced at the mention of that. The laughter soon died out, everyone getting ready for bed. You slipped under your thin blanket, feeling the cool breeze still reaching you through it. You rolled over on your side and whispered to Twilight. “Is it okay if I borrow your bear pelt again?”
He turned to face you, opening one eye. “You cold?”
You nodded and he sat up to pull it out of his pack, leaning to drape over you. “There ya go, Darlin’.”
You felt the heat in your cheeks erupt, burying them under the pelt so he couldn’t see. You smiled, causing your eyes to squint up at him as you whispered a muffled thank you. He smiled down at you. “No problem, sugar.”
GOSH DARN IT TWI-

Nightmares were never easy, especially when they were about the troubles at home.
It was another night, another camp site. You had been startled out of your sleep, feeling your heart pounding in your chest. Your throat was incredibly dry as you panted, forcing you to shuffled around your bag for your canteen. You took a sip of him, feeling the cool water wash down your throat, taking in a deep breath in an attempt to calm yourself.
It was just a dream. Nothing more.
At least that’s what you hoped for.
You took a chance to look around you in the darkness. Everyone else was still asleep, except for the watch, who just so happened to be Twilight at that hour. You felt your body shaking in your attempt to calm yourself, but the cold wind was not helping you with that. Maybe you needed to get up and walk for a bit, clear your mind.
You slid out of your bed, standing up as quietly as possible as you wrapped yourself in your blanket and pulled your boots on. You did go for a small walk, taking in the surroundings draped in the darkness of night. Your eyes however, did catch a glint of the golden chainmail that Twilight wore. He was fairly close to the camp, leaving his back against the tree. You made your way over to him, trudging through the grass. It caught his attention and he quickly turned his head in your direction, cocking his eyebrow in surprise.
“What ‘re you doin’ up, darlin’?” He asked quietly.
You settled on the ground next to him, holding the blanket close to your body. “I had a nightmare.”
He looked at you softly. “Wanna talk about it?”
You looked up into his eyes again, feeling a tug at your heart. You gently sighed and told him what you dream was as you rested your head on his shoulder. “I just can’t get my mind off of home and what kind of havoc the Shadow has been wrecking there, who he’s hurt already. I’m worried to say the least.”
He wrapped his arm around you, keeping you close. He was warm and smelt like cedar, as always. You were thankful for the gesture, the shelter from the cool air. “I know how you feel.”
You leaned in closer to him, taking in the scent of him, allowing it to fill your lungs. You both sat there for a while, listening to the sounds of the forest surrounding you, every cirp of the bugs in the grass, watching the subtle glow of the fireflies. It was quiet, it relaxed you.
“Twi, is it okay if I stay here for the rest of your watch? I don’t want to be alone.”
You felt his grip around your shoulder tighten around you ever so slightly. “Go ahead, Darlin’. You’ll be safe with me.”
You moved in closer to him, melding into his side. You took a deep breath and closed your eyes, allowing yourself to slowly drift to sleep as he gently rubbed your arm. You felt safe in his presence, protected. It was just enough to help you fall back to sleep, where no nightmares plagued you again for the rest of the night.

Goddesses - it shouldn’t have happened like this!
Time carried Twilight into the inn while the others were still out dealing with the Shadow. You felt like your world was swirling around you, a cave collapsing in on you when you helplessly watched Twilight (who you now knew was Wolfie) get hit with an almost deadly blow by the shadow. Everyone was scrambling, no one had been seriously injured by the Shadow up to this point. If it hadn’t been for Time and Wars, you would have felt like you were drowning under the weight of what was happening.
You were quick to snap out of your trance of helplessness when Time addressed you, dragging you away with him. Someone had to stay by his side while someone else ran to get the healer and you were quick to find one while he stayed in the room with a bloodied and battered Twilight.
When you found the healer you quickly dragged them back to the inn, guiding them up the steps to his room, where they began to tend to him. You watched at their side, over their shoulder with Time, assisting with whatever the healer needed. You all made quick work of getting him cleaned up and the wound dressed, but the healer was unable to do anything more about it. He was stuck with the Shadow in his system, he was now going to have to fight it from the inside.
You knew the darkness must have been trying to wreak havoc in him, trying to break down his resolve, down to the very fiber of his being. When Hyrule and the others came back, they all offered up the potions they had, even Hyrule’s magic, but nothing worked, nothing could stop this.
It had been a long afternoon of worrying over his state, the rest of the Chain came in and out of the room at various occasions while you and Time primarily stayed by his side. But as the evening turned into night, you and Time had decided to take shifts watching him, to make sure someone was always there, just in case something happened.
During one of your shifts, you found yourself leaning against the edge of your seat, arms resting on your thighs as you watched him breath, noticing how shallow his chest rose and fell, how much paler he grew under the moonlight, as if the very life was being wrestled away from him, pulling it out of his grasp. You felt completely helpless to stop it, forced to watch his life slowly crumble and fade before your own eyes.
You wish you had said something before all of this, had confessed your feelings towards the one person who ever truly made you feel safe. Now he was dying in front of you and he would never truly know how much you cared about him, how much better you wanted to know him.
A shaken breath escaped you as you took his hand in yours. His hands were cold and clammy, but you held it close to you, trying to warm them up. You couldn’t help but feel the tears sting your dry and tired eyes as you looked down at him, a string of whispered words leaving your lips.
You weren’t one to pray to the goddess, but tonight was an exception. You quietly begged and pleaded with her to do something, anything to save him from a deadly fate.
But nothing happened.
It felt as if your prayers were falling on deaf ears, never seeing a change in his worsening state. Your tears were streaming down your cheeks by now, dropping down your chin to the edge of the bed as you sniffled. You pressed your lips to his knuckles, shaking as you whispered, “Twi, please keep fighting this. I don’t want to be without you. I love you.”
You felt his hand gently twitch in yours, almost as if he were about to hold it. You wondered if he heard your plea for him to keep fighting in his state. You continued to hold his hand for the remainder of your watch, keeping it close, hoping that he would know that you were there by his side, so he didn’t have to fight this alone.
{5}
Days had passed since the incident with the Shadow, and to everyone's surprise, Twilight pulled through. Although he was awake, he was still recovering from the draining efforts it took to fight off the Shadow that had attacked him from the inside, in need of lots of rest.
Everyone took their turns visiting him, the whole group of them gathering into his room at multiple points until he grew exhausted by the lively interactions of them all, his side hurting from the laughter they brought him with all of the timely dog jokes. You couldn’t help but smile, watching him from across the room, noticing the life return to him even more as the days went by, as he grew stronger again. You felt relieved knowing that he would be okay in the end, your worries easing over, hopefully to never return with another scare like that.
It was late into the evening when dinner occurred and you brought him some food from the dining area, taking the moment to sit with him in peace while the others were down stairs discussing Hylia know what. You sat there and discussed whatever came to your mind as well, talking about the mischief you’d gotten into with Legend in the town with the other merchants, trying to keep his spirits up with the fact that they scored some pumpkins for some delicious soup to be made the next night, but you could see he was lost in his own thoughts, that fire in his eye replaced with pensiveness.
When you were both done with the food, you placed the plates on the side table and looked at him. “You alright, Rancher?”
“Hm? Yeah, just thinkin’.” He replied
“Would you like to talk about it?” You asked, looking at him concerned.
“It’s just - it’s all been a lot, almost dyin’ an’ all. Everything hurt, I felt like I was being held underwater, struggling against a current, but It’s like I was aware of what was happenin’ around and unable to do anything. I felt completely helpless to stop it.”
You nodded, listening to him intently as he continued.
“Out of all of it I could still hear what was happening around me - I heard everyone’s concern for me. Did you and Time even leave my side?” He asked, “I didn’t need either of you gettin’ sick worryin’ ova’ me.”
You chuckled, “What can I say? We both care about you - everyone does.”
“Yeah, I know. You made that very clear. I don’t think I’ve ever heard you pray before.” He commented.
“I-I don’t.” You replied, looking down at your hands.
“So why’d you do it for me?” He asked
You let out a deep sigh before looking up at him again.“I felt like I was running out of options. You felt helpless to do anything, I felt helpless just watching you deteriorate. I might not be on the best of terms with any god, but I know Hylia favors you and the others. At the very least, I could make a plea for you, on your behalf.”
“So you meant every word of it?” He asked in return.
You nodded. “Every word.”
“Including the last bit - the part where you said you loved me?”
Your eyes widened a bit in surprise as he brought it up, realizing he truly had heard every whispered word. He chuckled at your reaction, noticing how embarrassed you grew by his statement. He took your hand in his, keeping his gaze on yours as he gave your hand a reassuring squeeze. “You don’t have to be shy, Darlin’. I just wanna know if it was true.”
You gently nodded, “Yeah. I meant every word.”
Twilight's face cracked into a smile at the sound of that. Even he looked away shyly for a moment before returning his gaze back to yours. “Well, this wasn’t the way I was intendin’ on tellin’ ya, but, considering everything that’s happened, there’s no time like the present. I feel the same about you.”
Your embarrassment turned to shocked relief, your eyes growing wider as you spoke up. “Really?”
He nodded. “Really.”
You gently squeezed his hand back, a smile growing on your face. Before you could even open your mouth to speak again though, one of the others came barging into the room to check on the two of you.
“Hey, how’s the food tast-“ Four stopped in his stead at the doorway when he noticed the two of you holding hands, his eyes bouncing around the scene before he finally asked, “Did you finally tell them?”
Twilight gave him a knowing look - don’t tell the others. Fours face lit up as he leaned against the doorframe. “It’s about time! Looks like Wars won the bet though.”
You turned your head around so fast at the mention of the bet. “You all were betting on us?!”
Four gave a shy smile as he tried to steer his way out of the conversation. “Oh would you look at the time - I gotta go -“
With that he ran off back downstairs. You turned your gaze back to Twilight and shook your head with a laugh. “How long do you think we have until the others find out?”
“A minute, tops.”
You could already hear the shuffling of boots coming up the stairwell. Looks like five seconds was all it really took.
This was going to be a long, interesting night.
{6}
Another portal, another Hyrule, thankfully with another functioning Castle Town, which meant you got to stay in another inn.
You pulled Twilight up the stairs behind you, guiding him towards a room. With the Chain it was always fair game who got which room and you were hoping whichever one you chose had some decently comfy beds - and it did, but there was one problem.
There was only one bed.
You were half tempted to back out of the room, but you bumped into Twilight's chest as he moved past you into space, plopping his things down inside. You felt the heat flood your cheeks as your thoughts began to run with the idea of sharing a bed with him. You felt crazy - it’s not like you hadn’t shared a bed with him before, but you hadn’t done so since you both confessed your feelings for the other and actively became a couple.
Twilight turned to look at you, that sweet honey smile settled on his lips. He held out his hand to you, beckoning you closer. “Don’t be shy, Darlin’, c’mere.”
You made your way over to him, where he proceeded to wrap his arms around your waist, pulling you closer into him. He gazed into your eyes as he leaned his head down, resting his forehead against yours. Every gesture of his made you melt even more as he held you.
“Finally, some peace and quiet -“
“Aawww!”
Twilight groaned at the sound of Sky’s voice coming from the doorway, turning his attention to him. “May I help you?”
Sky had a cheeky grin on his face at the sight of you two. “I’m sorry, you two just look adorable. Continue.”
You leaned in closer to Twilight, resting your head against his chest. “I know we do, but what did you need?”
Sky chuckled at your reply and gestured out the door. “Food will be ready soon, figured I’d inform you before Wind attempts to steal someone’s plate again.”
You chuckled, remembering how mad Wild was the last time that happened. “Thanks Sky.”
You two made your way downstairs after him to eat with the others, dodging the others incessant teasing with ease. As the evening drew on, all of you finally made your way to your respective rooms. You sat on the edge of the bed, resting back on your hands as you spoke with Twilight, watching him change out of his shirt to sleep. As he did, you could see the raised scars littering his skin, all of which gained from one battle or another, but you couldn’t get our eyes off of the one the Shadow left him.
It was different from the others, maybe because it was still fairly fresh compared to anything else. You felt your attention be drawn to it, seeing the fine black markings along it, knowing it wasn’t necessarily from an infection, but more because of the source of the one who wounded him. You couldn’t get the sight of him so pale and close to death out of your head, how easily you could have lost him that night.
Twilight noticed the change in your demeanor as you stared at it, stepping closer to you as he placed his hands on your shoulders. “You alright, Darlin’?”
You brought your hand up over the scar, gently running your finger along the edges of it. “Does it still hurt?”
“Only occasionally, but it ain’t nothin’ I can’t handle.” He reassured you.
You leaned closer to him, pressing a gentle kiss along the edge of it. He looked at you with surprise at how tender you were handling him. He smiled as you looked up at him.“Bein’ sweet on me now?”
You gave him a cheeky grin as you pulled him closer to you by his belt loops. “Maybe, but that’s because you’re as sweet as honey to me.”
He leaned down, moving his face in line with yours in the midst of his flirtatious interrogation, eyes caught on your lips. “Does that make you my honeybee?”
You tilted your head slightly, lips ghost over his own as you replied, “Well, you’re just too sweet to resist.”
You kissed him, gently at first, but he kissed you back with a much rougher touch, desperate to feel your lips on his. He snaked his hands up your neck to caress your face as your hands fell along his forearms. You felt his teeth grazing over your bottom lip, almost asking and begging to allow him to deepen the kiss. You would, but not until you had made your move first.
It took him by surprise as you pulled him down to the bed with you, wrapping your legs around his waist so he couldn’t escape you. You chuckled as his smile came back though, his lips finding their way to yours again, kissing you with a hungry fervor before trailing down your chin and neck, causing laughter to erupt from you as he found a ticklish spot at the crook of your neck. He chuckled as he gazed down at you once more, his voice coming out in a smooth low whisper. “I love you, honeybee.”
You smiled up at him, feeling the heat return to your cheeks once again. He always knew how to make you blush, how to send butterflies a flight within you. You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him back to your lips once again. You could feel him relax against you, growing more comfortable with you by each passing second. When you finally had to pull away for air, you gazed up into his blue eyes, a smile on your face as you confessed.
“I love you too.”

The Talk
Felix x Vampire reader
Summary: After centuries of being together, y/n and Felix want to take the next step Warnings: there is some slight mention of smut, but overall fluff  A/N: This is my first one-shot/imagine. I will try to start posting more often but I am currently in uni and my school work always comes first. I will take requests and I will do a whole  post of what I can do or I am willing to do in the future.( There will be a second A/N at the end of this.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~🌹~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
(Ok but like why is he like this, I am obsessed with this man, its not even funny anymore)
There I was standing in between Demetri and Felix along with the twins in front of the kings, apparently there's a last minute mission and almost all of the elite guards are going, except me. I tried not to show my anger but it seems Marcus noticed and he spoke up
“My dear, what anger’s you?”
I felt Felix grab my hand for comfort and I said
“Why can't I go with them on the mission, master?”.
Before Marcus could respond Caius took over
“You equal our four guards present, we do not need as much force for this mission, if the mission does take a turn then we will send you but as of now you are needed here”
I nodded and squeezed Felix hand in reassurance that I am okay.
The thing with me is I am a collector (as Aro has called it), with a touch I can have the gift of the vampire I touch without fully taking away the other vampire's power. Which is what makes me so powerful and what makes me a valuable member of the Volturi elite guard, I have so many gifts from the many vampires I have encountered in the past centuries.
Another thing to my peculiarity is my mate is Felix, the executioner and the prize fighter of the Volturi. We met many centuries ago when the Volturi was forming and he was the new member and just like any mate story when I saw him I knew we were meant to be. He is my other half and my reason for being.
Soon after the instructions of the mission were explained to the guards, they were preparing to go, I was sitting on mine and Felix’s bed watching him pack. This was something I have not grown used to even after the countless missions we would have to go separately, I hated being separated from him but duty calls.
Eventually he's in front of me on his knees since he is so tall and I'm really short, looking into my eyes. I rest my hands on his broad shoulders and said
“Even after centuries of countless missions, this is the one part I hate about them the most, being separated from you”
He gave me a small smile and grabbed my hand and gave it a gentle kiss with saying
“I know cara mia, it is never easy but I have no choice, but you know i'll be back before you know it”
I nod and pulled the same hand that is holding mine and gave it a small kiss, I gave him a smirk and said
“And when you come back we can have our fair share of fun”
I winked and he smirked in return
“Exactly mia amore”
I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him onto a hug. He wrapped his large arms around me in return and I smiled. We soon pulled away and he stood up, bringing me up with him and kissed me and then left for the mission.
_____________________________________________________________
Its been a month without Felix and its pure torture without him, there have been a number of trials I have been in and they all end up with me killing them in a second. Currently I'm in the library with Caius (he surprisingly took a somewhat liking to me), he is giving me ‘lectures’ about modern art and real art. I always listen and take notes while he talks because sometimes he does ask me questions on what he has said so far. I interrupted his lecture
"Caius, why do you think humans love modern day art so much?”
He stayed quiet for a minute and said
“I believe it's because it is closer to their timeline and the humans can make broader and deeper meanings when something is simple versus ancient art has a more easier meaning but has a more complicated but beautiful outcome”.
I nodded and agreed.
“I always thought ancient art is more exquisite and fascinating then modern art”
He looked at me with an intrigued look
“Why do you say that?”
“As interesting modern day art is, now a days you can splatter any color on a white canvas and it's called a masterpiece, when ancient art would take months or even years to complete but it is worth the result”
He nodded
“Yes, I agree with you, it is entirely mental to think such things are true with modern art”
I nodded, Caius, the most ruthless king of the three agreed with me, it's not a surprise or shock since it does happen quite often and we think alike sometimes. I think that might be why he tolerates me more than the other guards and his brothers. We continued with our talk until a lower guard came and said that the others had returned from their mission.
Once he said the "others" I ran toward the throne room and saw Felix standing in front of the kings with the other guards. He turned his attention to me and I had to fight the urge to jump in his arms at that moment for the reason we are in front of the masters. I instead stood next to Caius' throne which he sat in after I arrived. I gave Felix a wink and he had to fight an urge to smile in return.
Soon after the report was over and the guards along with myself were dismissed, and once we were in the hallway I jumped into Felix’s arms that were already opened for me. I hugged him tightly and I kissed him without a second thought, we must of kissed for a while because we heard Demetri teasing us
“Get a room you two” We pulled away from the kiss and I said to Felix “He does have point”
Felix chuckled but nodded, he set me down and we both raced into our shared room. Once we were inside I said
“Fe you have no idea how much I missed you”
“I missed you too cara mia, I almost lost my mind in the mission but Demetri knocked some sense into me and I remembered that you promised once I came back we would have our fair share of fun”
I laughed while he smirked
“Of course you would remember that Fe, I bet you just couldn't get it out of your mind but it motivated you to get the mission finished as soon as possible, no?”
He nodded “Of course, anything to be able to see you in all of your glory”
I wrapped my arms around him and looked up to him
“I also couldn't get the thought of what you could do to me when you come back from the mission”
He pushed me against the wall and he leaned against the wall with his arm and looked down on me with a smirk
"Oh yea? How about we make those thoughts realistic?” I nodded without hesitation.
In an instant we were both in bed naked and making those thoughts realistic, we did it for 5 days straight until we stopped and were cuddling with me resting my head on his chest with an arm draped over his stomach and he had his arms around me.
“5 days Fe, I mean i'm not surprised remember when we first became mates and we did it for 2 months straight”
“How could I forget cara mia, best experience ever but every time we make love its always the best and it feels like it's the first time”
“It does feel like it, I can never get enough of you mi amor”
We stayed in a comfortable silence until we heard a knock and a voice say
“Are you two done yet? The twins are no fun and I missed you two already”
Me and Felix chuckled at Demetri's whining and I said
“Yes we will meet you in the lounge in 5 minutes”
We heard a cheer and then retreating footsteps.
We got dressed quickly and ran to the lounge room where Demetri was at waiting for us like a child, he saw us and said
“Finally, I was starting to think you forgotten of me”
“How could I ever forget you Dem, your my best friend”
He smiled and Felix went to sit on the couch with Demitri while I sat on the coffee table facing both vampires. We just talked for hours until the twins joined us. Demetri kept the conversation going
“Can you believe that human that the Cullens have, she had the audacity to speak to us like she had some power over us”
I raised an eyebrow when he said that
“Bella? The human swears just because she's with the Cullens she can't be killed, one day she might just get killed and I might as well be the one”
Both guys smirked and Felix spoke up
“Of course you will be the one cara mia, after all the crap she's put you through and given you attitude, when we first meet her and she addressed you in such a way I would of killed her on the spot if it weren't for the masters”
I nodded “She does have some gut, I'll give her that but that will get her killed easily”
Jane piped up “Yes I agree, it makes me mad I can’t use my gift on her”
I smiled “I know Jane, but someday she will get a nice karma”
They all nodded and Alec spoke up “You know I never got the chance to use my gift on her, you think it would have worked?
“I'm not sure, maybe”
______________
Me and Felix are once again relaxing in our private chambers cuddling. I love to cuddle with him, with our height differences I always feel so protective and safe in his arms, I love to lay my head on his broad chest with an arm draped over his stomach with my leg over his waist.
Sometimes when Felix has a tough day with training newborns he likes to lay on my stomach or chest and he wraps his muscular arms around my waist, in his words 'You're so comfy mia amore and I feel at peace and closer to you like this”. When he said these exact words to me many centuries ago I literally melted, if I had an actual beating heart it would've skipped a beat. Sometimes he doesn't even have to tell me he wants to cuddle or I to him, we just know or I read his actual thoughts.
In a soft voice I said “Fe, can I ask you something?”
“Of course mia amore, what's in your mind?”
"Have you ever thought about wanting a kid, a baby maybe?”
There was a thick silence but I heard his thoughts “More than anything, i wish I could have a biological child with her, give her something she has always wanted” at hearing his thought I smiled sadly but he soon spoke up
“I have thought about it mia amore, I would love to have a kid with you only…”
“You wish we could have a biological kid together”
He stayed quiet for a minute “Yes but I would not mind adopting a child with you, it would mean we would raise a child together as our own”
“You think the masters would let us adopt a kid? you know how master Aro is when it comes to things like this”
“That's why we talk with the masters together”
I sat up looking down on him with a smile, “You really want to do this my love?”
He reached a hand out to my cheek caressing it “Of course tesoro, I always want to give you everything you ask of me, and I want this also”
I leaned into this touch “Ok then, let’s talk with the masters then my love”
I smiled at him and I felt like my eyes twinkled. He smiled in return and pulled me into a deep passionate kiss which I returned, he pulled me  on top of him and rested his hands on my waist while my hands ran into his hair. We pulled away and I said looking deeply into his bright red eyes
“I love you Felix, so much”
“I love you cara mia, forever and always”
As said before later in the day me and Felix went to talk with the Masters about wanting to adopt a child. I'm a bit nervous but I think they might say yes, me and Felix are the ones who do all of the heavy work around here.
We arrive at the masters library and we walk in holding hands. I saw that Aro looked up from a book and he gave us that creepy smile
“Ah dear y/n and Felix, what brings you two here?”
I felt Felix squeeze my hand and he spoke up “Me and y/n have a request, well more like a wish masters If I may say”
I saw that Caius looked up with a sudden interest in the conversation “Well go on, what is it that you wish for”
I spoke up with a small smile “Me and Felix have been talking about adopting a child”
There was that tense silence and I looked at all three masters waiting for them to say something, I even saw Marcus' eyes sparkle with interest.
Aro spoke up “A child you say? Why the sudden interest or why the request?
“Me and Felix have always wanted a child but with the status of being vampires we just lost hope on it a long time ago but with recent events we thought about adopting one (I saw that Aro was about to interrupt but I gave him a quick look) and before you say anything about our duties me and Felix will keep up with our duties and stay here still, we would raise the child here and with time when the child is of age we will turn them”
I saw Caius had an impressed look
“It seems someone came with a valid and persuasive speech, I taught you well y/n” I saw he had a very small smile.
I nodded “I learned from the best after all (smiling at him), so then what's the final answer then”
I squeezed Felix’s hand which he returned and then Aro spoke up
“I grant you permission to adopt a child, if you stay on top of your missions and duties as guards”
My eyes widen slightly and I looked at Felix who was already looking at me with a smile
“We both promise on your request masters”
All three of them nodded and then we ran out laughing happily, Felix even lifted me and spinned me around and he yelled
“We are going to be parents cara mia”
A/N: Should I make a part 2? I simp over Felix big time, he is the BFHG (Big Friendly Handsome Giant :). Anyways let me know if you want a second part. But the next one is going to be Alec (I also simp over this vampire).
EASIER (B)
⚠️WARNING⚠️: Edward is an asshole… BUT THAT’S NOTHING NEW AT THIS POINT… Some insults, and violence but nothing too exaggerated... Also! We kinda hate Bella but not really, because let’s be honest… Edward is kinda a manipulative bitch. Unhealthy relationships (Bella and Edward).
Pairings: male!reader x The Volturi kings.
“Very well, my dear, we shall do as you want.” Aro finished the exchange by getting closer to you and caressing your face, smiling when he noticed how you were thinking of him and his brother in unholy positions, just to avoid giving the plan away. Then he leaned towards you and kissed your lips with passion before pulling away and looking at you with a devilish but comforting smirk. “We trust you, darling.”
Every time that you say you're gonna leave
That's when you get the very best of me
You know we need it like the air we breathe, air we breathe, yeah
I love you so much that I hate you right now
it's so hard to blame you cause you're so damn beautiful
So damn beautiful
After your kings decided to trust you with the task of managing the whole newborn situation, they decided that it was time for you to have a guard on your own. In their words, it was like a special guard, formed by only the best of the best. Vampires that wouldn’t doubt at the moment of killing anything that could pose a treat to you, and that wouldn’t think twice before dying for you -even if you didn’t like that idea as much as the killing one-.
That took you to the exact moment where you stood in the middle of the grand hall of the Volturi castle, bathed in the soft glow of candlelight, you were flanked by Aro, Caius, and Marcus, the three reigning kings of the Volturi and your fated mates. In front of you, a bit closer to the main door of the grand hall, the loyal and esteemed members of the Volturi guard stood. They were the vampires that your mates had designated to protect and defend you. You already knew Jane, Alec, Demetri, Felix and Nikolas. There was a face that you didn’t have the pleasure of meeting before. His name was Raine from what you heard before in the hallways and between whispers, hopefully, you weren’t mistaken. All the vampire’s eyes were filled with a mixture of respect and affection. Something a bit surprising since you hadn’t interacted with the last two mentioned.
Raine, seemed to have a commanding presence and unwavering loyalty, you didn’t need to look at him too long to feel that. He stepped forward, and his gaze met yours, and, just like that, as easy as breathing (even if you didn’t have to) a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. It was comforting, like a silent reassurance of the bond you shared. At that exact moment, you understood that Raine was going to be more than a member of the guard; he would become your protector, your confidant, and maybe with time, he would be like a brother to you.
"I know you haven’t interacted as much or well… never, so… Allow me to introduce Raine," Aro declared, his smooth voice reverberating through the hall, accompanied with a deep and amused chuckle. "A formidable warrior, devoted companion, and beloved mate to our esteemed guard, Nikolas. His unwavering dedication to the Volturi and to your safety knows no bounds. So, we are sure that you will be safe with him…"
The weight of Aro's words hung in the air, affirming the significance of Raine's role not only as a member of the guard but as your protector. Raine inclined his head with pride, his eyes never leaving yours, silently reaffirming his commitment to your well-being.
Jane, the petite yet powerful force within the guard, stepped forward next. Her gaze, filled with respect and admiration, swept across the room, acknowledging the honour bestowed upon her to protect you. Her loyalty to the Volturi and her unwavering dedication to your safety was unmatched.
"You already know Jane," Marcus announced, his voice laced with reverence. "So, we hope that you know that her unwavering loyalty and exceptional abilities make her an invaluable asset to our cause. So, as your protector, she will ensure your safety with her unique gift and unyielding determination."
“Of course, my love… Jane is always welcome with me… She’s aware of that, and she knows that I’m always grateful for her presence and company…” You said softly while looking at the young girls with a warm smile.
Jane's eyes met yours, reflecting a profound understanding and shared experiences. She knew the depth of your bond with the kings and the magnitude of the responsibility entrusted to her. Not only that, but she personally appreciated you. You were like a comforting parental figure and mentor. You calmed her down when her emotions got the better of her and you encouraged her to practice with her powers. Meanwhile, you, in her gaze, found reassurance that your safety was in capable hands.
Alec and Demetri followed suit, they didn’t need any introduction at all, their presence commanding and their commitment unwavering. They had proven themselves time and again, earning their place within the guard and their role as your protectors. Besides, they were also your friends, always willing to talk with you in your free time or just spend with you the few minutes your mates were busy with they royal duties. The loyalty and shared experiences of the two vampires cemented the unbreakable bond that tied them to you. With his unwavering strength and fierce determination, Felix stood tall beside his comrades. His role as a guardian extended beyond physical protection; he was a steadfast companion, ready to shield you from any threat. The trust you had built with Felix over the time you were in the castle made him an integral part of your journey. From the moment you met, he acted like a caring and annoying older brother, always ready to mess with you and protect you when necessary.
And then there was Nikolas, a seasoned member of the guard, his wisdom and experience enriching the group dynamics. Nikolas had been by your side for countless moments, and his loyalty was never tested, because it was so obvious that he believed in the king’s rules and laws that he never need to be put in trial for anything. He was one of the oldest members of the Volturi, so obviously, his guidance and presence carried weight within the guard.
"These are your protectors," Aro proclaimed, his voice filled with pride and reverence. If you could compare your amazing mate to something else, you would think of a child in Christmas morning, when he knows he was able to get the perfect gift for someone. "They have been chosen not only for their exceptional skills and unwavering loyalty but for the love and devotion they hold for you. Together, they form a formidable force, bound by their duty to safeguard your well-being."
Of course, as Aro's words echoed through the hall, a sense of gratitude and warmth enveloped you. This guard was not merely a group of protectors; they were going to be your family, bound by love and a shared purpose. Each member was starting to play a unique role in your life, and you only hoped that with time their presence would turn into a testament to the strength of the bond you were feeling between you and them.
Stepping forward, Aro extended his hand toward you, a gesture of camaraderie and trust. You took his hand, feeling the weight of his words resonate within you. With your new guard by your side, you were prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead, knowing that their love, loyalty, and shared experiences would guide you through the darkness.
You approached a bit, your steps were measured and confident, a regal grace imbued in every movement. It was only when you were directly in front of your new guard that you stopped walking. "Thank you for joining me," you spoke, your voice carrying a mixture of gratitude and warmth. "It is an honour to have you by my side, to know that I am protected and cherished."
Nikolas met your gaze, his voice steady yet filled with sincerity. "I am privileged to serve you, to stand as your shield and your confidant. My loyalty is unwavering, as is my commitment to your well-being." The members of the guard, Jane, Alec, Demetri, Felix, and Raine, stood alongside you, their expressions a mix of respect and camaraderie.
You smiled, a true and kind smile that was rare but obviously genuine, it was an expression that lit up your features and that was mostly reserved for your adored mates. "Together, we are stronger," you said, your voice carrying a note of conviction. "In each of you, I see unwavering dedication and unwavering loyalty. I trust in my kings' choices and I believe that we will navigate the path ahead with grace and determination."
Felix stepped forward, his gaze meeting yours with unwavering intensity. "We will protect you with our lives," he affirmed, his voice filled with resolve. "Our duty extends beyond duty itself. It is a commitment to your happiness and well-being, to safeguarding the love and connection that binds you with our kings and with us all as your subjects and companions."
Your eyes softened, a flicker of emotion passing through your features. "I am grateful to all of you, for your presence, and your unwavering support," you replied, your voice tinged with genuine gratitude. "To have such loyal companions by my side gives me strength and reassurance."
A few days later, in the dimly lit chamber of the Volturi castle, you stood before a large table where Raine, Jane, Alec, Demetri, Felix, and Nikolas were gathered. The air crackled with anticipation as you prepared to give them their assignment. The kings weren’t there, trying to avoid any type of involvement with the planning in case Alice was trying to see their choices and plans. The last thing they needed was the little vampire acting like some type of prophet and trying to blame the Volturi for the newborn’s attack on the Cullens.
"Raine, Jane, Alec, Demetri, Felix," you began, your voice carrying a commanding tone. You hated when you had to act like a boss in front of your guard. You didn’t want the coven to be like that, like an enterprise, without feelings or any type of warmth, but sadly, considering how stupid the Cullens were acting and how they were about to go to war against lots of newborns that would destroy them without a second thought, you had to be serious and bark orders while thinking of a strong strategy that would help the smaller coven.
"I have a task of utmost importance for you.” You started your explanation while looking at the vampires in front of you. “The existence of our kind is at stake, and it is your duty as representatives of the Volturi clan to handle this matter with precision and efficiency."
Raine, with his piercing gaze and an air of quiet strength, nodded, his expression serious in the usually laid-back face. Jane, with her captivating aura of power and authority, even for her young appearance, stood by Raine's side, ready for any challenge. Alec, exuding calmness and a commanding presence, prepared himself for the mission. Demetri, with his unparalleled tracking abilities, exuded confidence and determination, and Felix, radiating sheer physical strength, stood tall and resolute. You knew they were all ready for whatever plan your mind had created. They would follow you without a doubt, ready to end with the threat towards your kind.
"Jane, you will take charge of the operation. Your keen intellect and combat prowess will be invaluable in this endeavour. Besides, we all know how extraordinary is your gift… Raine, the newborns probably won’t have any idea of who you are, so… I’ll need you to use your power to disorient and incapacitate them, stop their abilities, make them feel weak. Alec, reinforce their illusions and provide cover when needed. Demetri and Felix, you two will be in charge of tracking and subduing them… ensure their compliance." You paused for a moment, allowing the weight of the the task to settle upon them.
"And Nikolas," you continued, your voice filled with warmth and gratitude, "I will need you to stay by my side. You know that I consider you a loyal protector and confidant, besides… The kings would feel better if you stayed behind to protect me… You, surely know, that your presence is essential to my safety."
Nikolas, who had been standing silently in the background, nodded understandingly. He knew his duty was to safeguard you, and he accepted the responsibility with unwavering dedication. That was his main task from the moment you arrived in Volterra, to protect you, to defend you against anyone who tried to hurt you.
"While you won't be joining the others on this mission, your role here is just as crucial," you reassured him. "I trust in your abilities to protect me, and I know that I am in capable hands."
Nikolas met your gaze with a determined expression. "You can count on me, my prince…" he affirmed, his voice filled with loyalty.
After making sure that Nikolas understood why it was so important for him to stay with you while the others went to fight, you turned your attention back to the rest of the guard.
"I have every confidence in your abilities. Show the newborns the might of the Volturi, but exercise restraint and judgment. Our goal is to restore order and ensure the safety of our kind, not to needlessly destroy. If there’s someone salvageable, anyone, that would be a good addition to the clan, or if someone shows true regret and is willing to learn the rules and follow the law, let’s give them a chance. The Vulturi don’t give second chances, but let’s consider that those newborns, never had a chance to begging with."
As the team prepared to depart, you stepped forward, your gaze filled with unwavering trust and gratitude.
"Remember, you are not alone. Together, we will face the challenges that lie ahead. Your bond as a team is as essential as your individual talents. Protect one another, trust one another, and return to me victorious. The kings and I trust in your abilities and your good thinking…"
With those words, the group of Volturi representatives turned to leave, their resolve unwavering. The weight of their duty pressed upon their shoulders, but they carried it with honour and determination.
As you sat in the quiet meeting room of the Volturi castle, your gaze fixed on the regal figure of Jane as she prepared to leave. Everyone else had already left. The meeting is long over. And you couldn’t help but think that the room exuded an air of solemnity, the walls adorned with ancient tapestries depicting scenes of the Volturi's immortal reign. Maybe it was the words that were exchanged just a few seconds ago, maybe it was just how the sunlight filtered through the tall windows, casting gently rays that danced upon the polished marble floor, creating a serene ambience. You weren’t sure. Still, you had a second mission, the planning was over, and now… the second part of the plan needed to start.
Seizing the moment, you rose from his seat, your expression calm yet resolute. This was going to be quite difficult for you, but still, you knew this was necessary. Your eyes met Jane's, locking onto her crimson gaze with a steadiness that bespoke your unwavering resolve.
"Jane," You called out, your voice carrying a quiet intensity that cut through the stillness of the room.
Jane paused, her graceful movements halted as she turned to face you. Her porcelain features held a trace of curiosity, her piercing eyes sparkling with a mix of curiosity and expectation. She was ever an enigma, capable of both unspeakable power and surprising depths of empathy. Still, when you looked directly at her, she felt so young, so inexperienced in life, like a child wanting comfort and protection. Sometimes, in secret, when nobody could see your thoughts or feel your emotions, you let yourself think of her and Alec as your children. Still, you weren’t sure that it would be welcomed so you kept those feelings to yourself.
With a composed demeanour, you continued talking, your words were measured yet purposeful. "Before you depart on this mission, I have something important to convey," You stated, voice projecting a confidence borne from the knowledge that every word had been carefully considered.
Jane's brows arched ever so slightly, her attention fully captured. She remained silent, awaiting the revelation that would shape their course of action.
"In the event that you and the others discover information that could alter our plans, that could change everything," You explained, words deliberate and laden with significance, tone of voice soft but serious. You weren’t joking about this, and it was clear that you truly believed that something would change your guard’s course of action. "I ask that you exercise your judgment and take the necessary actions to ensure our success. But please, do not inform me of any such developments."
Your request hung in the air, the weight of its implications palpable. You understood the reason behind it—the need to shield the choices of the kings and your own decisions from the penetrating gaze of Alice. After all, knowing her, it was obvious that she would also see your choices related to the newborn threat. She always thought that her gift was almost perfect, and she would make sure to try to use it against any plan that the Volturi could create. The unspoken tension that had surrounded them all since the meeting's inception now found its voice in this solemn exchange.
Jane's gaze softened, her features betraying a glimmer of understanding. She nodded in acknowledgement, a silent agreement forged between you and her. Though you knew that Jane changing the plans depending on the situation would leave you in the dark, you understood that it was necessary and accepted the essential part of this arrangement, knowing it would safeguard their endeavours from the prying eyes of those who might manipulate fate.
With that, Jane resumed her departure, her figure gracefully gliding through the doorway. Meanwhile, you remained behind, contemplating the gravity of your shared secret. In this moment of quiet reflection, you took an unnecessary deep breath and prepared yourself for the unknown, ready to face the consequences of a future shaped by the choices of others. Right now, you quite loathed Alice and her stupidly useful gift.
Is it easier to stay is it easier to go I don't wanna know oh but I know that I'm never ever gonna change and you know that you're always gonna stay the same
Is it easier to stay is it easier to go I don't wanna know oh but I know that I'm never ever gonna change and you know you don't want it any other way
As the moon reached its highest point, casting a luminous glow upon the enchanting and mysterious gardens of Volterra, the Volturi kings prepared for a momentous occasion. You weren’t aware of this, but it was there, surrounded by the whimsical beauty of nature that helped them hide from the chaotic world and stay in that small piece of heaven and safeness, that they had meticulously arranged a scene that would forever mark their love and devotion into your heart.
The gardens came alive with the soft glow of innumerable fairy lights, delicately twinkling like stars suspended from the branches of ancient trees. Their ethereal radiance bathed the surroundings in a warm, romantic ambience, enveloping the space in a magical embrace.
They knew it wasn’t the best time for this type of surprise, but they couldn’t help it. They were tired of hiding you, of acting like they didn’t consider you their equal. They wanted for you to be able to stand proudly by their side when they had to judge a rebellious clan, they wanted for the rest of the vampires outside their coven to respect you and fear you like they respected and feared them. They desired to be able to listen to your ideas and plans without having to hide because of your lack of a royal title. It wasn’t fair, you were one of the smartest people they’d ever met, and they didn’t want to keep insulting you by ignoring that fact. You were their mate, the only being that was solely made to be by their side, you weren’t made to be hidden and to stay put like a trophy, you were born to rule, to protect and defend what you and they considered important. Unlike them, you showed the compassion that they had lost many years ago, and they felt that it was time that the vampires of their world had a ruler they could turn to, not only to accuse another coven but to seek help and comfort.
They looked at the garden, a cosy seating area nestled beneath the sprawling canopy of a centuries-old oak tree, adorned with cushions and blankets in hues of velvety midnight blue and rich crimson. Soft, plush pillows were carefully arranged, inviting you to sink into their comforting embrace. The idea was to show the comfort and kindness that you usually showed to them and to your friends inside the Volturi guard.
A table, draped in elegant silk, stood nearby, adorned with crystal glasses that glimmered as they caught the moon's tender light. The lack of silverware, plates and food was quite obvious, but they couldn’t do anything about that. It wasn’t like you could eat, so the idea of sharing a meal would be ridiculous and wasteful. Still, they had mixed some blood with your favourite wines from when you were alive, wanting to show you that they cared not only for the current you, but also for the things that had made you into the being they loved so much. This careful mixture of alcohol and blood was a token of the kings' unwavering commitment and affection. Just like that, from the carefully opened bottles that rested in the middle of the tastefully decorated table, a tantalizing fragrance permeated the air. It was a delicate blend of freshly picked roses, intertwined with the aroma of rich, aged blood. A symphony of scents of sorts, a harmonious combination that reflected both the beauty and the primal essence of their immortal existence. An existence that they hoped to share with you by their side.
As you entered the gardens, your footsteps were muffled by the lush grass. It wasn’t possible, not at all, but the kings could almost feel how their hearts quickened with anticipation. The Volturi guard, standing sentinel around the designated area, exuded an aura of reverence and support, they had decided to take a moment to maintain this moment untouched by the responsibilities of everyone outside. Their tasks were simple, make sure that you four wouldn’t be interrupted. Each member of the guard, adorned in their regal attire, wore a gentle smile, their eyes conveying unwavering love and acceptance.
Aro, your charismatic and visionary king, the spokesman of the three kings, stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous sparkle. "Ah, my love, we have orchestrated this moment with utmost care and affection, for we have longed to profess our love for you in a setting as extraordinary as the bond we share."
Then, Caius, your strong king, let his stoic facade softened by the warmth of his emotions and spoke with a resolute tenderness. "In your presence, we have found solace and completeness. The depths of our hearts are forever entwined with yours. Tonight, we offer you the promise of a love that transcends time and fate."
Finally, your quiet but caring king… Marcus, the always introspective, with his gaze full of profound intensity, whispered words that carried the weight of centuries. "The course of our immortal existence has been irrevocably altered since the moment we met you. Your presence fills our lives with purpose, and your love has breathed new life into our souls."
With their words hanging in the air, the Volturi kings stepped closer, their eyes locked on your own, their hands extended in a gesture of unwavering commitment. Aro, his voice both commanding and gentle, continued, "In this enchanted garden, beneath the moon's tender gaze, we ask for the honour of your hand in a union that surpasses mortal bounds. Will you become our beloved, our partner in eternity?"
This is it… They were finally asking you the biggest question of your inmortal life…
Overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of love and devotion before them, your heart swelled with emotion. Tears of joy danced in your eyes as you gazed at the kings and the extraordinary scene they had meticulously crafted. The tears would never fall, unable to find release thanks to your unnatural anatomy, but still, the emotion was there, your face and whole body were showing off the multiple feelings that were going through your heart and mind at the moment. It was a moment that surpassed your wildest dreams. You knew they wanted to marry you, you were aware of the fact that this would eventually happen but… Now? Like this? This was better than any dream, better than any imagined scenario that you had created in your mind. This was a thousand times better because this came directly from them.
You knew this wasn’t the time to be shy, you needed to convey all your feelings and you were planning to do it. Your kings had created such a beautiful proposal for you, there was no way you wouldn’t correspond to their feelings in the best way you could. So… with a voice filled with love and unwavering conviction, you replied.
"I spent most of my life until now… chasing a love that would never come true… But it’s in your arms, that I have found solace, passion, and unwavering support. To be chosen by you, to be cherished and loved by all three of you, is a gift beyond measure. With all my heart, I accept your proposal, knowing that our love will continue for the rest of our lives and that, it’s only your love, the thing that I was truly craving when I was lost….”
And the hardest part of all is that we're only built to fall
Is it easier to stay is it easier to go I don't wanna know oh but I know that I'm never ever gonna change and you know that you're always gonna stay the same
On the other side of the world, a similar, but quite different picture was starting to appear as the sun began its descent beyond the horizon, casting a soft golden glow across the meadow of the forest of Forks.
There, Bella stood on the delicate precipice between love and doubt. With the warmth of the evening air wrapped around her, mingling with the scent of grass and wildflowers, she asked herself if this whole situation was what she actually wanted. Still, she stood there, waiting faithfully doing her best to stay immobile as she waited for Edward to arrive.
Bella’s heart was heavy with conflicting emotions, doubts creeping into her mind like shadows, whispering their insidious words. She couldn’t help it, the problems, the fights, Edward's own actions in front of you and in front of the kings of the vampires, all of those little things were starting to pile up and they threaten to pour out of her heart, filling her head and soul with doubt and questions that nobody seemed to want to answer. Also, a part of her questioned if Edward truly loved her as deeply as he professed. After all, the way he reacted to meeting his ex-partner, even after he told him that it was you that was hanging onto a relationship long over, it was confusing. You had already moved on, so… Why was Edward so upset about it? Why did the brunette make such a scene accusing his ex-lover of horrible things and trying to attack them? And then… his actions towards her during their trip back to Forks, his reluctance to turn her into a vampire, to make her inmortal so they could be together forever… Did he really love her and cherish her as much as he said to do? Or were his words merely empty promises, masking a more self-serving desire to keep her in his world for a while? Like a little pet, a little thing you want to love, knowing that they wouldn’t live as long as you do… Did Edward see her as just a fleeting love? Maybe he saw her as something he could play with and pretend to love with the reassuring thought that she would grow old and die while he would stay young forever…
Bella gazed at the shimmering light filtering through the trees, the same light that had once illuminated their undying love. She still remembers the hidden encounters, the kisses in the forest and laying in the same meadow as Edward while talking sweet nothings to each other. She remember how he explained about you, about his disturbed ex-lover that dreamed of a wedding that would never happen and that fantasied about a relationship that was long dead. At the time, she was so worried for Edward, so saddened by the fact that he was tied to you, and so resentful for the fact that she had to hide her love under those threes and little bits of lights… But now, the same lights and soft shadows cast doubts upon her heart, casting darkness upon the very foundation of their relationship.
At this point, she couldn’t help but ask herself if anything of what Edward told her was even true. When she met you, you attacked her and yes, acted crazy but… were your actions really the act of someone delusional and trapped in the past? Or were those the doings of someone that was betrayed and lied to by the man they loved? Edward and herself -even if now she was ashamed of it- had made fun of you behind your back, joking about your mind being trapped in a delusion where your ex-boyfriend was still in love with you… and yet, now, she was the one who felt trapped.
She was entangled in a web of her own dreams and desires, her own personal simulated world. She felt weak, stupid… She let herself be moved by the allure of immortality, the idea of being the only one in the life of a creature that was designed to be perfect, the idea of forever being with Edward, of being loved for all eternity, the idea of being so important for someone that he was willing to ignore his own nature just to love her… that lies, that illusion held her captive. So, still with all those doubts and worries plaguing and poisoning her mind and heart, she stayed there, standing motionless, waiting for her boyfriend.
And just a few seconds later, there he appeared, a figure emerging from the depths of the forest, it was just the blink of an eye for Bella, but suddenly, he was in front of her, looking directly at her expression while his eyes glowed with an intensity that had once mesmerized her. Now, she wasn’t sure what she felt looking at that unnatural gleam in his eyes, she was just glad that he couldn’t hear her thoughts, thankful for the shield nature had given her. Edward had approached her with a confidence that both comforted and unnerved her. His voice, so sweet and melodic, echoed through the meadow, blending with the whispering breeze. She felt like he was trying to touch her with his words, cover her and hide her from the world… She used to be grateful for that feeling…
"Bella," he said, his voice laced with tenderness… but was it real? "I have loved you from the moment I laid eyes on you. Every beat of my heart, every fibre of my being, longs for you. There is no doubt in my mind that you are my destiny, my forever."
His words reached her ears, but her heart yearned for more than mere declarations. Besides, his promises and sweet nothings seemed to stay there, unclear and almost impossible to be true. Did he yearn for her because of his love? Or was it because of some weird instinct that he couldn’t control? The doubts that plagued her thoughts begged for reassurance, a tangible proof of his unwavering commitment, a way to show that he truly loved her and wasn’t only following what he thought he had to do...
Was this proposal an act of genuine love, or a desperate attempt to keep her bound to him?
As Edward dropped to one knee, a small velvet box in his hand, Bella's heart fluttered with a mixture of hope and trepidation. What? She wasn’t confused, she understood what his words and actions meant but… She wasn’t even eighteen just yet… She was barely finishing high school… Did she want to tie herself to Edward without a chance of experimenting with other things in life? She wasn’t legally allowed to drink, she hadn’t thought of universities or if she wanted to work in something in particular… Hell, she was still a virgin!
But there it was… The delicate ring nestled within the box glimmered in the waning sunlight, a symbol of an eternity she had once craved. The commitment and future she once asked for… She even pushed Edward to take her back after he tried to leave her when the first vampire attacked her… Then she saved his life and almost pushed him to commit to her forever…
But…
Did she genuinely want this? Weren’t all teenagers allowed to do a couple of stupid things before becoming real adults? Still, how could she say “no”?
At that moment, looking at that gorgeous ring in that delicate velvet box and looking at Edward that was waiting for an answer with a small and charming smile, she felt the weight of his expectations pressing upon her, and she wondered if she could truly deny him.
Her mind raced, questioning the very essence of their love. Was it pure and selfless, or did it stem from a possessive need to control her destiny? Did Edward want her because of her? Or did he want her just to avoid losing something else that he considered his? Doubts clouded her mind and she knew that if she didn’t control herself, she would start shaking… Still, she found herself hesitating, unable to voice her doubts. The fear of losing him and the dreams she had woven around their future kept her silent. She spent so much time thinking of being with him. She risked her life, ruined other relationships, and forgot about the other possibilities of her future just to stay by his side, so… If she decided to say “no”, what would be of her? What would she do? At this point, she wasn’t sure if she could be Bella without Edward by her side…
At that moment, the conflict within Bella reached its climax. She couldn't deny the love she felt for Edward, nor could she ignore the doubts that now consumed her thoughts. Still, there was no more time, Edward was there, in one knee, waiting for her answer and she was about to get all that she thought she wanted… She just needed to ignore the questions. It wouldn’t be so hard, and maybe with time, she would get used to it…
And so, with a mixture of reluctance and resignation, she whispered, "Yes, Edward. I will marry you."
As he slid the ring onto her finger, sealing their fate, Bella couldn't shake the lingering doubts that were whispered in the recesses of her mind. But for now, she would bury them beneath a facade of acceptance, hoping that time would reveal the truth behind Edward's words and intentions. In any case, she at least knew that Edward loved her or cared for her to the point of wanting to marry her and that would be enough… That needed to be enough.
-It won’t be…- Her mind whispered, almost like answering to her silent promise. Weirdly enough, the voice sounded so much like yours that she couldn’t help but feel like she was making a mistake. Still, it felt like it was too late to change her mind now. She was going to marry Edward, and with that, she would turn into a vampire, like she was always meant to be. She was sure that with time, everything would fall into place. The doubt was, where would she fit in the whole picture once that happened?
Is it easier to stay is it easier to go I don't wanna know oh but I know that I'm never ever gonna change and you know you don't want it any other way
I love you so much that I hate you right now
It's so hard to blame you cause you're so damn beautiful
A/N: Hey guys, sorry for taking so long. Here's the update, hope you like it.
how the cullens react to you getting sick
Tumblr media
edward easily could tell by your thoughts and not to mention how puffed out your face was
the cullen kids drove you home in Emmett car.
alice made you soup, maybe a chicken noodle soup you couldn't tell
edward and Alice scolded you while the others laughed at the situation
you had to call in sick at your job at the small restaurant.
"you all owe me 7 dollars per hour"
you had a high fever but you didn't mind as you were curled up to alice keeping cool
you were annoyed a bit since you had to do so many things and after that you were gonna hang out with seth
you texted him apologizing and explaining your situation
they soon left as you basically throw them out.
you passed out for a couple of hours
when you opened your eyes you did except the whole cullen coven to be there
"... what"
taking in another scolding from the father of the family
you feel alseep mid of his speech
Dual Usage of a Secretary On Her Desk
This is the third part in the Uses of a Secretarial Desk Series.
Part 1 is here.
Part 2 is here.
A very fitting song for this fic:
Characters: This part is Demetri/F!Reader/Felix, and is ungodly long. The entire series is now over 8k words combined.
There are several pet names used, but none of them are derogatory.
The biggest warning I can think of other than sexual content is second-hand embarrassment.
Finally, I wasn't originally going to continue this so soon, if at all, but thanks to @kiiwiigii 's endless support and encouragement it exists. Seriously, guys. It took me five months between parts one and two, and parts two and three (this part) have less than a week between them. I can't thank her for her help enough.
10:27AM
The time reflected on the clock had been taunting you ever since you’d arrived at your desk promptly at eight o’clock this morning.
Struggling to fall back asleep after yet another dream last night had been terrible. You struggled to fall back asleep once awoken at the best of times, but that dream. Oh, that dream. It had left you with an ache and no time to care for it. An ache that seems to only have steadily increased in fervor since that first dream.
“I’m a vampire, it’s said to be in my nature. Besides, it’s not cruel if you like it.”
You’d been thinking about those dreams since they’d happened, even as you tried desperately to focus on anything else.
Like today. Like now. You were trying desperately to focus on your tasks for the day but unwittingly you’d find your mind wandering. Often lines that Demetri or Felix had spoken within your dreams whispered across your subconscious, feeding that delicious, distracting throb between your thighs.
“I need you, sweet girl. Now.”
You shifted in your seat, begging your mind to focus on your boring paperwork.
“What a spoiled girl, wanting to be fucked by Demetri, and wanting to be devoured by me.”
Perhaps pressing your thighs together would help? God, the wetness between your thighs was unbearable.
“Look at you, squirming on my fingers.”
Your pussy throbbed, and you took a deep breath in before letting it out slowly. You were tired, but you really should have touched yourself last night. Maybe if you had, you wouldn’t be in this situation.
“You’re so wet for me. Right here on your desk, love. Is that okay?”
Squeezing your eyes shut, you decide that you’re never going to make it to the end of your shift like this. It’s too early for your lunch break, but perhaps….
You sigh. No, going to the bathroom wouldn’t work. What if you were away from your desk too long? The last secretary had spelled one of Master Aro’s dear friend's name wrong and been retired. You weren’t going to take that chance.
That settles it. You can’t leave your desk, but you also can’t continue like this. You’ll have to take care of the issue here. Right at your desk.
Biting your lip, you shuffle in your seat so that you’re sitting as far back into it as possible. If you push yourself into your desk so that you’re sitting as close under it as possible…
Yes. That may work.
Slipping both hands under the desk with you, you begin to pull the skirt of your dress up your thighs. Thankfully, you’d forgone any sort of tights or hosiery underneath making your task easier. When the hem of the dress reached your hips, you wiggled in your seat, pulling it up a little higher closer to your waist.
Pausing to check your surroundings, you rest one hand on your stomach. You need to check for others nearby, particularly if any vampires have suddenly decided to populate the area, but none have. Relieved that you're alone, the hand not on your stomach moves to rest upon the desk, ready to fake a task should anyone appear.
The hand on your stomach slowly slips lower, until your fingers rested upon the fabric of the panties covering your soaked pussy. They weren’t anything fancy, just a pair of pink, plain cotton hiphuggers with small, white embroidered hearts on the front. You can feel those hearts against your palm as you move your hand, fingertips finding your clit through the fabric and rubbing softly.
The relief is almost immediate and you have to fight to keep your mouth closed, jaw wanting to drop open with relief and pleasure. Every circle of your clit sends small sparks up your spine, and you want to moan so badly in appreciation.
It’s so good.
Your wetness has made its way through your panties now, the fabric under your busy fingers wet and starting to stick rather than helping to provide you with friction. Humming quietly to yourself, you quickly shift and push your panties down to your knees before resuming your motions.
The first touch of your bare fingers circling your clit causes you to clench, the walls of your cunt flexing and flaring the feeling of emptiness, of needing to be filled, inside you. You start to whine, but bite the sound off abruptly. You need to remember to be quiet. Your fingers gradually get faster, chasing the release you can feel building low in your abdomen. Your legs have slowly spread apart, pressing against the inside of either side of your desk, opening further to provide better access to yourself. The panties previously around your knees have slipped down, and you’ve kicked them off your left leg so they lay hanging off your right ankle. You’re right there when suddenly your ears pick up on approaching footsteps.
You freeze, stilling your hand. Your skirt is still bunched up lewdly around your waist, with no time to correct its placement. You know that if you stand up to greet the approaching guard as expected, you’d expose yourself, and your activities, to them. Keeping your hand in place, you decide to stay seated. Hopefully, the guard will pass by, paying you as little attention as possible, as is their usual, and won’t notice your lack of standing. You also hope, that if your hand is noticed they’ll simply believe you to be resting it upon your lap.
As a figure rounds the corner, you plaster a smile on your face, scrambling for any semblance of normalcy, and call out cheerily.
“Good morning!”
Demetri slows his pace as he rounds the corner, eventually stopping before your desk.
“Morning.”
He greets you with a raised eyebrow. You know it’s because you’re not standing. You both know the routine, the secretary is to stand when greeting a vampire. Something about showing respect for your betters.
You remain seated. You cannot stand up.
“I’m feeling a bit under the weather today,” you rush to explain “so I’m-“
“Ah.” He cuts in, nodding slightly. You’re thankful for the interruption as you hadn’t planned anything more to say. "Nothing too serious I hope?"
"No!" You clear your throat nervously, "No, I'll just be uh- sitting today. Instead of standing. Because I'm ill."
He stares at you, his head tilting to the side. He's looking you over carefully and you have the urge to do something but the thought of moving is terrifying. What if moving draws his attention toward your indecency rather than away from it? His gaze pauses on the floor, near the side of your desk, and you relax slightly. Maybe the floor is dirty. That has nothing to do with you. Cocking an eyebrow at what he sees, his eyes lift again to meet yours. Holding eye contact with him is excoriating, your current predicament and the dreams making it difficult. You want to look away. You want to run away.
"Did you drop something?" He asks, his voice is... odd. Slightly deeper than you're used to hearing and there's an almost husky quality to it.
"No?" You don't recall anything falling from your desk and you shift slightly, careful to keep yourself hidden, and peer down beside your desk.
Immediately your face is scarlet. Oh, you wish you could die. Right now. You wish the ground would open up and swallow you whole. Peeking out from under your desk, still around your right ankle, is the corner of your panties. The pink fabric taunts you, looking so innocent in such an unfortunate scenario.
"Oh," You start to say, about to provide an excuse for why there would be fabric there. Maybe a purse?
It's too late though. Demetri is already bending down and grasping the fabric in his hand, attempting to pull the offending mystery out from under the desk. Your right ankle jerks as he tugs, following the fabric.
"Demetri, wait!" You scramble to explain yourself. "That's....um, not what it looks like." You finish lamely, mortified to be in this situation.
"Oh, I think they're exactly what they look like." He's grinning as his eyes lift from the panties in his hold, traveling up the length of you. Up to your embarrassed face, and past your eyes to lock onto-
"It seems that I've arrived right in time."
Felix. Felix is behind you, and Demetri's eyes have locked onto him while he grins.
"Oh yes," Demetri intones "I've just discovered our naughty girl's panties around her...ankle."
You're flushing, embarrassed, and confused by his words. Our girl? Does he mean our as in the covens? Or-
"Her ankle? " Felix's voice breaks your train of thought, and his hands are on you suddenly. His hands close down on your shoulders and pull. The wheels on your chair's legs help him to pull you out from under your desk and towards him.
He lets out a dark chuckle, and your legs are clenching as you're exposed to his sight, standing so tall behind you and able to see everything. The chair lurches to a stop as it meets his front and you instinctively grab the armrest with both hands to steady yourself. With your hand no longer covering you, your wet cunt is exposed to the open for anyone to see. You're just forming the thought to close your legs when suddenly Demetri is there, kneeling between your spread thighs, and stealing the hand that had been between your legs from its place upon the armrest. He hums in the back of his throat, and then your cunt slickened fingers are disappearing into his mouth. His tongue laps at them, cleaning them of your juices.
You whimper audibly. Demetri moans.
Felix, not one to be ignored, moves his hands from your shoulders. One hand circles firmly, but gently, around your throat, his thumb brushing your jawline as he tilts your head back towards him. His other hand travels downwards and cups a breast. The hand cupping your breast squeezes gently and the second your mouth opens in a gasp, he's there. Felix's tongue invades your mouth, exploring you and pulling another sound from your throat.
Demetri's mouth releases your fingers, and you feel hands upon your knees. The thumbs rub a small circle across each one before they're hooking under the back of them, pressing your legs up and back to hook over the armrests of your chair. You make a questioning sound in your throat, but Demetri makes a soothing one in return before he presses close between your rearranged thighs. Kisses begin to rain down upon your legs, moving from the inside of one knee and inward. When he reaches that spot where your leg meets your hip, Demetri switches to your other leg to repeat the process. You squirm a little in response and receive a warning squeeze from Felix's hand around your throat in response.
"Look at you." Demetri's voice cuts through the relative silence of the hallway you all occupy "A pretty little snack, so kindly prepared for me to enjoy."
And then his mouth is on you.
Your back arches and you let out a muffled yelp. Felix laughs softly as he breaks your kiss, the thumb of the hand around your throat brushing your jawline softly before it drops to join the other on your chest. He releases your captive breast and then his hands are fisting in the fabric of your dress and pulling. The fabric gives way, tearing down the middle as easily as wrapping paper, exposing your naked tits.
"No bra?" He questions tauntingly.
You open your mouth to answer, but Demetri's tongue pressing into your opening provides a distraction. Felix had already begun to speak again, anyway.
"You know, those dresses you wear are very pretty. Almost as pretty as the sight of your hard little nipples poking out within the confines of them." His hands are cupping your breasts again, thumbs brushing lightly across your nipples before retreating. The feeling combines beautifully with the way Demetri's currently fucking you open with his tongue. "I've wanted to do this for ages."
"Felix" You plead with him. For what, you're not sure. Just that it feels right. "Please..."
"Please? Oh, such nice manners. Did you hear that, Demetri?"
Demetri hums affirmatively in response and you almost scream, the vibrations against you are intense. You're still so sensitive from your earlier touching, especially since you never actually got to finish, and his hum causes sparks of pleasure to shoot up your spine. You start to beg again, but Felix sliding two of his fingers into your mouth puts a stop to that.
"Be a good girl and get these wet for me."
You're staring up at him and sucking his fingers, not even questioning why and Felix grins down at you.
"So obedient, perfect girl."
You moan around his fingers at the praise, and he slides his fingers out slowly, sensually dragging them across your lips as they retreat. His wet fingers return to the breast he'd been neglecting, closing around your nipple to pinch. He's gentle at first but adds more pressure until he gets the reaction he was seemingly aiming for. He has you suck the first two fingers of his still-dry hand until both hands match, and then his focus is on your nipples. His fingers tug, brush, and pinch relentlessly. You're gasping, and then moaning, as the combination of both Demetri and Felix's efforts combine. You're squirming, hips bucking up before Demetri pins them to the chair with his hands. You can feel that cliff getting closer again, stronger than earlier. The feeling burns, but it's so good. You're absentmindedly grinding your hips, moving against Demetri's mouth as much as you're able and begging.
"Oh, god, please. Felix. Shit. Demetri. I'm-" You gasp, as that cliff is suddenly right in front of you and you're about to go hurdling off. "I'm going to come. I'm, I'm going to-"
Except you don't because just as you're about to be shoved that final inch over the edge, they both stop. They stop. You gasp, this time in outrage, and Demetri laughs.
"Don't laugh at me," You complain, pouting and unable to keep the whine from your voice. "That's the second time you've done that to me."
Felix takes a step closer to your desk and suddenly the surface is cleared. Your pens, papers, and other items hit the floor with the sweep of his arm. Demetri stands, taking you with him, and moves to the now cleared desk. Depositing you on the cool surface he shoots you a questioning look.
"Um- Well, earlier...." You stutter out, struggling to explain just how he'd interrupted your irresponsible self-care session earlier. "I was... when you came around the corner earlier."
They both let out an amused sound, bastards.
“You can come on my tongue later. Right now, I’d prefer you do so on my cock.” Demetri pulls you in for a kiss, lips moving with yours momentarily before he’s pulling away again.
"Don't worry, princess. We'll make it better." Felix soothes you.
Demetri applies pressure with a hand between your breasts, pressing you back to lie on your desk.
"Yes, we will. We promise. Would you like to know how?" Demetri speaks this time.
You nod.
"Demetri," Felix says, "is going to fill that needy hole between your legs." He's standing by your head now, a hand lifting from his side to run through your hair. "And while he's doing that, I'm going to keep your mouth occupied while I wait for my turn."
“Oh, fuck.” You gasp out.
“That’s the idea, love” Demetri grins down at you from his resumed place between your thighs, standing this time. His hands move to his belt buckle, and he begins to undress. His belt opens first, and then his slacks. Felix’s hand has moved, providing support for your head as your stare down your body, watching Demetri free his cock.
You lick your lips, wetting them before you speak.
“No underwear?”
“You’re one to talk, sweetheart.” Demetri quips, a hand wrapped around his base to steady his cock as he positions himself so that the head is rubbing along the seam of you. A muscle in your thigh twitches, and then he’s directing his hand so that the tip of him is brushing over your clit.
Your mouth has dropped open, and you’re panting in anticipation.
“Please.”
Demetri smiles, his teasing speeding slightly, but not giving you what you really want.
“Please,” you try again “I want you- I need you inside me.”
“You beg so beautifully.” He praises, and then he’s notching his head at your entrance, and inside of you. You moan, voicing your delight at finally being filled, and clench around his intrusion. Demetri isn’t small, but he’s also not overly large. There’s a slight pleasing stretch as he first enters, but you adjust quickly. His hands settle on you again, one on your hip and the other holding one of your legs hooked on his hip. He begins to thrust inside you steadily, and as he finds a rhythm Felix decides it’s time your attention was shared once again.
The hand he has holding your neck begins to lower and your head follows until eventually it’s just hanging off the end of the desk. While you were distracted by Demetri, Felix had also undone his pants. Unlike Demetri, however, Felix had been wearing boxers. He’d shoved the front waistband down, and it now rests below the base of his cock. And his cock- oh, god, his cock is huge. You shouldn’t be surprised, the man is almost seven feet tall. While not worryingly large, he looks to be around seven or eight inches, he is thick. The sight of him, and the feeling of Demetri angling to hit a sweet spot inside you, makes you moan. The thought of Felix inside you makes you clench around Demetri. If Demetri feels this good, Felix may kill you.
”I think she likes what she sees” Demetri laughs lowly, “if the way her cunt fluttered is any indication.”
“Don’t give me all the credit, Demetri.” Felix fists a hand around his cock, stroking it slowly a few times while you watch transfixed before his hand drops away. “She’s making such pretty sounds for us while you fill her.”
“Unfortunately, I’m going to muffle them.” The hand that had been stroking his cock is now cupping your cheek, his thumb brushing over your bottom lip. “I have plans for that sweet mouth of hers.”
The thumb on your bottom lip presses down, opening your mouth to slip inside. He presses down on your tongue with it and you feel your saliva pooling around the digit. Closing your lips around it, you suck. Hesitantly at first, but as his eyes heat you get bolder.
"P-please. Can I please-." You gasp as Demetri thrusts into you, cutting you off momentarily.
"What was that, sweetling?" Felix bends down to murmur in your ear, hands fisting in your hair.
"Can I please suck your cock." You practically moan, begging for permission to taste him even as blush restains your cheeks.
Felix pulls back and lets out a surprised laugh. Demetri groans, cursing under his breath.
"Our girl is naughtier than I thought, Demetri."
“She is,” Demetri agrees. “Our brave girl,- fuck. So tight - asking for cock even though it’s so hard. Look at that blush.”
“Hmm.” Felix hums, thinking. “Since you begged so prettily. Go on, wrap a hand around it.”
You don’t give him time to change his mind, a hand immediately raising to wrap around the base of his cock. It’s heavy in your hand and your fingers have a gap between them, unable to meet while wrapped around him.
Gathering your courage, you glance up at him through your lashes, lean in, and run your tongue over the slit of his tip. The taste of his precum covers your tongue, and your lips tingle when you lick them. They’re chapped, so maybe it’s from the venom? You don’t linger on the thought, going back for another lick, firmer this time. When he moans, you open your mouth and suck the head of his cock in. Opening your jaw this wide causes an ache, and you know you won’t be able to keep this up nearly long enough. You’re going to try anyway.
Sucking the few inches you can fit into your mouth, you hum. The vibrations are a success and Felix hisses. His hips jerk forward before he corrects himself, and you begin to move your hand in tandem with the bobbing of your head. What you can’t fit in your mouth, you can stroke with your hand.
Unintentionally, you find your motions lining up with Demetri’s thrusts inside of you. Your hand strokes down Felix’s cock as Demetri fills you. Upwards when Demetri pulls back. It’s a cheap illusion to being inside of you, but from the way Felix’s eyes dart to glance down to where Demetri repeatedly fills you, you know it’s one he’s caught onto.
You hum again, this time stronger, and are pleased when Felix grunts. His hands tighten their hold on your hair and he stiffens.
“Fuck, okay.” He’s guiding your head off of his cock not long after. “Hands only, sweetheart. I’m going to cum.”
One of his hands joins yours around him, guiding you to touch him how he needs.
“Stimulate the head. Yes, like that. Good girl. Such a good- fuck, good girl.”
You lose focus on your task, mouth falling open with a moan as Demetri’s tempo suddenly speeds up. He’s hitting that spot from earlier perfectly and the knot low in your abdomen is back with a vengeance. Every thrust pulls the thread of it tighter. Felix lets out a long moan, and then cool streams of cum are painting your tits. You’re gasping every time Demetri bottoms out inside of you, you can feel a sense of anticipation the closer your release gets. Having been denied twice, it’s aggressive as it nears with pleasure coursing roughly through you.
“Fuck, Demetri.” You cry out, just as your vision goes white. You see stars the orgasm is so strong. Your hand shoots down to grip at the one Demetri has grasping your hip, your pinky fingers interlocking. It’s a poor man’s handhold, but it feels so right. Demetri groans, and his thrusts begin to land harder, his pelvis meeting yours roughly before you feel a cool liquid filling you.
“There,” Demetri pants “nice and full. Isn’t that better, precious girl?”
You hum appreciatively, still coming back to yourself. Demetri’s hand on your hip shifts and his thumb grazes across your sensitive clit, causing you to jump before he’s pulling out.
You can feel his chilled cum begin to leak out of you, starting to trail down towards your ass. You attempt to free the hand entwined with Demetri’s to reach down, intending to feel the mess he's made of you, but he refuses to release your pinky from his. He keeps your fingers locked together even as he swaps places with Felix, your arm lifting as your hand moves up above your head. The trailing cum never makes it to its destination, as Felix uses his new location between your thighs to his advantage.
Felix gazes between your thighs hungrily, and you almost give in to the urge to close your legs. The urge to hide from his intense gaze is a strong one, but somehow you resist.
“Good girl.” He must have noticed the instinctive jerk of your thighs towards one another, and their return to position. The praise fills you with warmth, and you shift them open a little farther. He’ll need the extra room.
The fingers of one hand graze along your ass cheek as they brush a light path along your skin to catch the cum leaking downwards. His fingers drag upwards, bringing the escaped cum with them, to your opening. His fingers gently dip in and out of you, pushing Demetri’s fluids back where they began, before shifting to trace the length of you. Up. Down. And up again.
“Messy girl” he murmurs, staring distractedly at the sight of his fingers dragging along you, spreading the mix of Demetri’s cum and your fluids. You are messy, you can feel how wet you are. Your fluids combined with Demetri’s make you sticky and slick.
“Absolutely perfect.” He praises, those fingers still moving along you. “Are you ready for my cock?”
“Yes.” You answer immediately. “Please, Felix.”
Like Demetri had earlier, Felix rubs the head of his cock along the seam of you, spreading your fluids along the both of you. Unlike Demetri, who had done so to tease, Felix also does so out of necessity. You’ll both need the lubrication to make taking him easier. Finally, when he decides you’ve soaked his cock acceptably he notches his head at your opening.
“Oh, god!” You exclaim, the sight of him lined up against your needy hole is a potent sight and your walls flutter in anticipation.
“Just Felix will do, love,” Felix answers cockily.
“Oh, shut u-“ Your reply cuts off abruptly as he shifts forward slightly and, with a pop, his sizable head slips into you. Your head falls back with a whimper, and Demetri is there. His hand cups the nape of your neck and he takes advantage of your exposed neck to pepper kisses along it. A bruise is sucked into your skin at the corner of your jaw.
Felix doesn’t move far, letting just the first inch or two sink into you before pulling back. He repeats the forward and back motion, slowly working his length into you. The stretch is exquisite, and you want to beg him for more. His face is tilted downward, staring down at where the two of you are joined and watching the progress as your cunt slowly swallows his cock. Felix is most of the way inside you now and he’s dragging along spots you’d never had stimulated at the same time before. The experience is overwhelming, and on one particularly pleasurable thrust, a mewl escapes your throat. You’d been valiantly trying to keep relatively quiet, but that last sound had been louder than any you’ve made so far.
“Oh, that was a pretty sound.” Felix taunts you, pace speeding slightly “Imagine the sounds you’d have made if Demetri hadn’t worked you open for me first. The whole castle would be able to hear you. Say, thank you, little girl. Thank Demetri for opening your pretty cunt up for me.”
Your eyes lock onto Felix’s and from the grin he gives you, you can tell he’s serious. You’re panting from the stimulation of both of their ministrations and speaking more than one quick word at a time is going to be a challenge. A fact he clearly knows.
“Thank- oh!.” You try, you really do. They’re making it difficult for you though, Felix is purposefully targeting the spots inside you that cause you to see stars as he thrusts. Demetri isn’t helping either, his hands cupping your cum covered breasts and pinching your nipples.
“Thank- fuck. Thank.”
“Come on, sweetheart.” Demetri prompts you, tauntingly. “Are two little words so hard to say to me?”
You make a sound at him, intended to be one of annoyance but it sounds more whiny than anything. They’re such bastards. Both of them. Demetri’s head bends down over your chest, lips closing around a nipple and sucking.
“God,” you gasp out, an unfiltered thought spilling out unbidden “your mouth. Magical.”
That gets a chuckle out of both of them, and you remember the task you were trying to accomplish when Felix pats your thigh.
“Thanks.” No dice, his thrusts increase punishingly. Not enough to hurt, but you feel like your eyes are rolling back from the increase of pleasure pouring into your nerves.
“The right words, pretty girl. You know that’s not what you were told to say. Thank him properly, brat.”
“Thank yo-“
Felix suddenly hilts fully within you, his pelvic bone pressing against you just right and you’re flying. Suddenly shoved over that mind-blowing cliff once again, you’re sobbing out your pleasure as your cunt clenches as tightly as it’s able around Felix’s thick cock. Your thighs clamp around Felix’s hips, and you vaguely register Felix muttering a rough fuck while Demetri chuckles.
“Ooh,” Felix coos “Are you playing favorites? You didn’t do that for Demetri.”
“That’s not very nice of you” Demetri chimes in, his words vibrating against the nipple he still has in his mouth. “I’m going to claim partial credit though” Demetri continues, “My mouth does feel magical after all.”
“Magical mouth or not, she’s going to come on my cock twice.” Felix is bragging.
There’s a derisive snot from Demetri.
“Speaking of magical mouths” Demetri drawls, lips withdrawing from your tit. “It’s my turn with yours.”
He stands up straight, no longer needing for his mouth to reach your tits.
“No hands this time, pet. I want those pretty lips of yours wrapped around me the whole time.”
Finally releasing his hold on your pinky finger, Demetri guides your hand to touch his thigh. Gripping your wrist, he makes your hand tap where your it rests before pressing firmly until you grip his pant leg. You keep your hand where he’s placed it, clearly there’s a purpose.
“Three taps, baby, and I’ll stop. Do you understand?”
You start to nod, but at his raised eyebrow you choke out an affirmative answer, struggling to form words against the tide of pleasure caused by Felix’s resumed movement inside you.
“Y-yes!”
“Perfect, brilliant girl.”
His hand is cupping the nape of your neck again, supporting your head and neck as it hangs off the end of the desk. You open your mouth eagerly, earning a low chuckle from his, and then he’s pressing inside.
Your jaw isn’t as strained as it was with Felix, and you know you can keep your mouth open longer for Demetri. He starts slow, shallowly thrusting into your mouth. When he doesn’t feel any tapping, and decides you’re okay, he begins to deepen his thrusts. You attempt to use your tongue, moving it to hopefully help add some stimulation, but that proves useless.
Eventually, Demetri’s thrusts into your mouth have you moaning around the entire length of him. You’re proud you manage to do so, and the faces and sounds he makes as he fucks your mouth make for delicious validation.
When his thrusts begin to line up with Felix’s, you whine. Both of them thrusting into your wet, willing holes at the same time is filthy in the best way.
“Yeah?” Felix purrs “Do you like this, little girl? Being stuffed full of our cocks.”
You squeal when Felix’s thumb finds your sensitive clit. The tight, fast circles he’s making on it are causing a severe degree of pleasure. You almost wish you could remind them that this will be your third orgasm, you’re so sensitive. Seeing as your mouth is full of Demetri, you can only moan brokenly and hope they’re feeling merciful.
“You can take it.” Demetri’s words are firm. “You will take it.”
“Just this last orgasm, sweet girl. Give us this one, and we’ll let you rest.”
His fingers are relentless as they circle your clit, as are their thrusts. Felix’s cock nudges against a specific spot inside you and you scream. The sound is muffled by Demetri, who pauses momentarily, waiting for tapping. When none comes, he resumes. It feels as if your body is on fire, the starting point of your cunt quickly overtaking the rest of you. The hand fisting in Demetri’s pants is sure to have white knuckles.
Please.
After you’d screamed, Felix had angled to hit that spot on every thrust. It’s well-executed agony, and when Demetri reaches out and pinches your nipple you’re tossed headfirst into release. You know your eyes are rolling backward in your head this time, and you clench so hard around Felix that he snarls. He hilts inside of you, grinding himself against you once, twice, and then he’s filling you.
Demetri pulls out of your mouth abruptly, his hand moving along his length in three rough strokes before his cum is joining his fellow guards across your chest.
Gentle hands stroke your thighs soothingly, and when hands tangle into your hair you open your eyes. You didn’t know you’d closed them.
“Hey there, love. You still with us?”
“Mhmm.” Your response is weak, and such a happy sound that they grin.
“Lovely girl,” Demetri’s grin is wide “Was that better than your dreams?”
You’re too fucked out to gasp at the knowledge that they know. They know! Have they known the whole time?
“Maybe I’m dreaming right now.” You sass.
Felix moves a hand from your thigh to pinch your ass, and you yelp loudly before shooting him a disbelieving glare.
“What?” They both speak simultaneously “Now you know you’re awake.”
A/N: How long has it been? Honestly no clue. Thank you so much for the continued support, even in my absence. I don't want to make excuses for the lack of updates but, this story is far from over and I will be updating more regularly. I'm recently out of hospital after losing all mobility so I'm relearning to use my hands so typing is hard, due to this updates will be slow (although faster compared to the wait between this chapter and the previous!) There are likely to be grammatical errors to due to this. I've tried correcting them all - bare with me.
also couldn't decide on a GIF, send me a better one and I'll replace it but maybe also might give another reward.
I've created a TAGLIST add your name if you wish to get updates
His answer echoes through every corner of your brain, exciting your heart once again, as you walk hand in hand to the edge of the forest and stare out at the house. The feeling lasted but fleetingly as dread overwhelmed the senses. Paul staying for dinner would mean meeting the parents and you’re not entirely sure you’re mentally prepared for the event. Infact, you’re not sure you ever would be. A squeeze to your hand brings your attention back to the present moment.
“I think I can handle parents” he teases with a second reassuring squeeze of the hand. You stare up at him, confusement present on your features.
“How did you know I was thinking-”
“Call it an educated guess,” he laughs as light twinkles in his eye. “Besides, I wouldn’t have said yes if I wasn’t prepared for the inevitability of meeting family.”
“At least one of us is prepared” you joke, exhaling deeply. Before another word could be spoken you started towards the house, giving him a small tug on the arm to follow so you couldn’t talk yourself out of it. Quick like a plaster was your mantra as you marched through the quagmire that had developed in the afternoon rain. Only briefly do you brace yourself for the onslaught of questions and then begrudgingly drag your feet up the stairs of the back porch. Relief washes over you at the sight of the empty kitchen as you push through the back door of the house, but it is short-lived as your mother makes an appearance in the archway that connects to the living room.
“Thought I heard someone” she sounds cheery as she moves to give you a hug. She gives a tight squeeze and then takes your face in her hands and looks deep into your eyes “how are you feeling sweetie?” She continues to inspect your face, for any clues as to what's going on in your mind.
“I’m good mum” you take her hands in yours and remove them from your face to give her a sweet smile. She accepts your answer, content that everything seemed well as she busies herself with the kettle on the stove as it starts to whistle. “In fact, I was wondering if perhaps… well, it’s just that…” the words start to stick in your throat as you realise this was the first time you were bringing a guy home. “Is it okay if I have a friend over to eat?”
“Honey, you know it is-”
“We don't even have to eat them.” Frank’s voice takes you by surprise as you turn to see him in the archway, his arms folded as he winks at you.
“Frank!” Your mother scolds, earning a chuckle from him. “Is it Sarah?” Your mother looks up from pouring the boiling kettle water into her mug as she asks the question.
“More likely to be the man who’s loitering outback” once again Frank surprises you as your mother’s face screws up into a questioning stare. You start to open your mouth to question him but Frank once again beats you to it “Who is the young man then?”. He’s got his official tough guy voice on, the one you’ve only heard a handful of times when he’s answered a work call. “Wouldn’t be the same one that brought you home unwell and drugged up from that party?” Your mother’s mouth drops open as you completely ignore Frank’s questioning and rush to the door as a feeling of loneliness spreads through your chest. Paul’s back disappears into the treeline you both had emerged from only minutes ago. The emptiness that engulfs you rips through painfully as it threatens never to be replaced by joy or happiness again. It commands your feet to run, splashing muddy water at your body as you slog through the mire. The shouts of Frank from the porch are nothing but white noise as the panic rises through you, cascading through your body in waves of numbness.
“Don’t go!” you try to shout but it comes out as a croaky whisper. “Don’t go!” you find your voice and start yelling at the top of your lungs as you come to halt in the growing darkness of the forest. “Paul?” you cry out, desperate for his presence to return. The darkness inside is swallowing you whole, not even the rustle of the bushes and the pounding of feet is enough to drag you from its depths and make you run. Instead you watch, numb and unmoving as a beast charges you.
You wake sitting bolt upright. Sweat beading across your forehead and running in rivulets down your temple. Hair sticks to the dampness created by the all to vivid dream. Your eyes scour your room searching for that beast in the morning light that creeps through the drawn curtains. After a few minutes you calm yourself and lay back down in the damp sheets, thinking over the events of the dream. Being in the forest, alone with Paul, the steamy kiss that felt so real you could almost feel it lingering on your lips; the echo of a ghost. You lay for a while trying to fall back asleep but feeling too deeply distracted. In a mood you force yourself up from bed, pulling yesterday’s clothes on which had been discarded in a heap on the floor. You make your way downstairs to grab some breakfast, knowing you should eat but finding the contents of the cupboard totally uninspiring so settle for a coffee. You lean against the kitchen counters sipping the hot brown liquid trying your hardest to fight the urge to get in the car and drive back to the reservation.
“What would you say you idiot?” You muse aloud, trying to convince yourself not to do it. “‘Oh, I’m back because I can’t stop thinking about you and a steamy kiss that never happened.’ no, I can’t…” you laugh at yourself while the memory of how close you’d come to kissing in the cabin pops up in your memory. You start busying yourself by washing up your mother and Frank’s breakfast dishes, looking out the kitchen window at the back yard, noting how unlike a quagmire it currently is and not at all like the dream when your eyes register a shape in the distant treeline. The breath in your lungs catches followed by a sharp inhale. The great beast is a dark grey brown in colour, blending in with the surroundings. You would have completely missed the creature if it wasn’t for the familiar feeling that licked at you and drew attention to its presence. Your view of the outside world is temporarily blocked by the kitchen wall as you move from the window to the door. Disappointment hits hard as you stand in the cold morning air on the porch, looking at nothing but trees.
You jump, startled by the clear ringing of the doorbell as it sounds around the house. With a sense of elation and the sound of drumming feet you race through the house to swing the front door open, hoping it’s him.
“Sarah?” You couldn’t hide the shock and annoyance at your friend being on the other side.
“Could sound a little less displeased!” She jokes barging her way into the house. You shake your head, realising you’d been rude and try to clear all thoughts of Paul away. You can’t help but smile at your friend as she makes herself comfortable in the kitchen, readying two mugs for coffee. The idea of making the drink causes the realisation to hit that Sarah should be at work. “What’s up?” She questions after spotting the look on your face in the window reflection.
“Shouldn’t you be at work?” You prop yourself against the door frame awaiting an answer.
“You’re one to talk!” She glares in a half joking way but you detect an undertone of seriousness. “Not that you have a job anymore anyway…” she trails off leaving you straining to hear.
“Sorry?” You squeak out. Sarah busies herself moving the drinks to the kitchen table with an awkwardness as if suddenly uncomfortable in her own skin. Her bum plonks down onto a chair and she forces herself to take a sip of the far too hot liquid, you know she’s burnt herself as her face screws up in pain.
“Look,” she starts trying to piece together what to tell you. “It’s not for me to say” she tries to blow it off which earns her an eyebrow raise from you. “It’s really not my place-”
“Well you made it your place” you snap. “Tell me what happened to my job, please.” Your patience was running thin now. Sarah drums her fingers into the table top before finally speaking.
“The diner is currently closed, so there’s that aspect” she looks up at you from beneath her lashes, resentment etching her features that she was finding hard to hide. The diner being closed answered why Sarah wasn’t at work today.
“I’m sensing there's more to this” you probe while taking the chair opposite.
Sarah responds by ironically rolling her eyes “Well the only difference between our situations is mine’s temporary. Benny sees it as your fault, he’s mad-”
“At what?” You sit forward leaning on the table, eyes wide, wanting to know what your boss thought was your fault. “Why have I lost my job?” You start to shout.
“I totally agree that Benny deserved what he got, he was being a total ass, but Paul should have gone easy-”
You didn’t wait to hear what Paul had done. The gnawing feeling in your gut was all you needed to send you flying through the room, wasting no time in grabbing your shoes and keys. Sarah grabs your shoulder as she turns you to face her. She can see the wildness tearing through your eyes as fury rises. “Confronting him isn’t a good idea, surely what happened to Benny is enough for you to see how dangerous his temper can be-”
“His temper?!” You almost laugh, “Maybe he should be afraid of mine,” you almost snarl “Mine most certainly is match for any mans and if he thinks i’m going to roll over and let him-”
“Geeze okay, I’m coming. You’ll need all the backup you can get.” Sarah pushes aside her feeling of unease and the urge to say I told you so, wishing you’d left Paul alone when she warned you, and follows hot on your heels out the house.
Sarah actually ends up driving as her head is much clearer than yours. You pay little attention to the journey, focusing only on what you’re going to say. The desire to hold your ground floods your veins and drives your instincts, so much so that when the car pulls up in front of the familiar cabin you immediately jump from the vehicle and head towards a track on the opposite side of the clearing. Sarah’s voice calls after you from the driver's side of the car but it goes unheard as you march to the thumping of your heart in your ears. Emily, who had been preoccupied inside the cabin, heard the commotion caused by Sarah and appeared in the entrance way in time to see you trudging off towards where she knew the boys to be. Sarah and Emily share a brief worried glance before rushing to follow.
The sound of your feet slapping against the earth barely registers as you start running. Despite not knowing where you’re headed, you know it’s towards him. Explaining the feeling inside would be almost impossible; it’s deep, magnetic, instinctual. It’s like a moth to a flame, but also so much more than that. You’d have to experience it to know properly. A sweat starts to break out on your forehead or so you think, until the wetness starts feeling heavier and cold and realise it’s the start of rain. Not caring about getting wet, you carry on with your fast pace, putting some distance between you and the girls. Eventually the path you took emerges on the edge of a beach, the transition in terrain striking you as odd. The mud trail just stops and turns to sand, a few grass patches sporadically placed here and there. The sound of crashing waves dulls any other noise there might have been and for a brief moment you feel calm as you step out onto the beach and take a deep breath of sea air. If it wasn’t for the radar inside going off alerting you to his presence closing in, you would happily stay here and enjoy the scene. A familiar gnawing sets in as butterflies swim around your tummy. The ones you get every time he’s nearby, closing your eyes you can almost imagine the warmth of him as he wraps arms around you and the scent that sends heat rushing through your veins. It’s almost powerful enough to sweep aside the anger.
Almost.
You turn your attention to look up at the wide stretch of beach. Far off in the distance you believe you can make out shapes, or is it that feeling which confirms he’s there? One foot at a time you trudge through the sand that grows ever wetter by the second as the skies open even more. What was soft rain starts to pound down and run in rivlets down your face, soaking everything it touches. It drips from the tip of your nose and snakes its way down the neck of your top. Soon shivers set in so you wrap your arms around your torso to conserve heat. After five minutes the shapes in the distances have grown exponentially, you could make out their faces. It helped that they were moving towards you, probably heading to the cabin to seek sanctuary from the deluge. You stop moving since he’s coming towards you, not wanting to waste energy. A strong wind blows in off the sea and whips your hair around your face in a tangle of wet matts. Desperately you try to pull it off your damp skin and become increasingly frustrated. The frustration builds until it pushes you over the edge. It forces you to march up to the group, closing the last few metres. Paul stands in the middle, the smile that had etched his features dispurses as he registers your emotions. In hindsight this next move probably wasn’t the best decision, but you’re cold, soaked and quite frankly, fed up. Planting your feet into the sand you muster all the strength you can before shoving Paul in the chest. To say it catches him off guard is an understatement. It was so unpredictable it actually knocked him back a step or two. If he’d landed flat on his arse you’d have been happier but you think your point got across, loud and clear. To be extra sure, you allow yourself to shove him again, this time though he doesn’t budge. His hands shoot out to grab yours, stabilising your body, stopping any further movement to attack him.
“What the hell were you thinking?” you shouted through gritted chattering teeth, rain flying as your hot breath steams against the cold air. Paul’s breaths come in ragged sharp inhalations as he tries to remain calm. He releases the pressure on your wrists but doesn’t let go. “Let go of me,” you try to wriggle free from his restraints.
“What’s wrong with me?” he questions in response to the outburst, “What’s wrong with you?”. It wasn’t meant to sound harsh and judgemental, he really was concerned about you and whatever had caused this, but you took it the wrong way.
“You have no right, none whatsoever.” You hurl at him without actually knowing the full extent of the events. “Stay away from me.” This time he allows you to pull free from his grip, the force of which sends you stumbling. Quicker than what felt humanly possible he grabs your waist to stop you from falling. “Get off me!” Your voice grates hoarsely through your throat, as you give him one final shove. His silence irritates you, but perhaps it’s for the best. Walking away would be so much easier. Turning away from him sends pangs of guilt and hurt through your chest, as if you were physically tearing yourself apart. The feeling soon dissipates as he breaks silence.
“We’re not done here.” His voice bounces off the air sending waves of electricity over your skin. The hairs on your arm raise in response and the air in your lungs catches. It’s a tone of dominance hinting at a silent command to stay. Immediately you stop in your tracks. You should feel even more irate but the anger has been replaced by intrigue. Butterflies once again swarm your tummy as you bite back the lump in your throat. It’s the biggest betrayal, your heart beating your mind in this tug-of-war. Turning on your heel you catch the briefest of glances between the other guys as if they were sharing a silent conversation. Without giving you or Paul another glance they all carry on, their voices trail off into the distance but can be heard laughing and joking around for sometime. He waits, with the rain battering down on you both, until they’re out of earshot to speak again. You hadn’t noticed until now that he was once again shirtless, the rain running in perfect streams over his carved muscles. Despite the weather, heat rushes to your cheeks flushing them a pale pink colour as all kinds of thoughts sweep over your mind. You have to force yourself to look him in the eye to concentrate on the matter at hand. You see his mouth moving but struggle to hear the words over the sound of the rising winds. Forcefully you whip your head in an attempt to move hair off your face, the pressure of the wind growing stronger as it blasts you in the side. A glance at the sea reveals giant crashing waves pounding into the shoreline and despite being only the middle of the day, the sun hides behind sullen grey clouds, resembling late evening more than anything. You hug yourself as the cold really sets in, your bones feeling painful as they rattle inside.
“Come with me” you hear him this time as he shouts from beside you, his face mere inches from your ear. Having not noticed him move closer, this takes you by surprise. He looks down at you with all traces of anger removed and his features once again soft. He unhooks your hand from your side causing a gasp to release from you at the contact. The heat that radiates from him brings you back to life, you move to cling onto his arm. He wastes no time in leading you off the beach. Instead of heading to the trail that leads to the cabin he takes one that crops up sooner. You enter denser woodland following a less used pathway, neither one of you uttering a word but you’re silently thankful as the tree canopy protects you from the worst of the rain. The wind follows you, creating eerie noises as the trees groan under the pressure. Paul leads the way, his hand still enclosed over yours. You watch his back, the way the muscles contract with use. You can tell from the way his neck is tense that he's clenching, the tension between you undeniable. Thinking it was best to talk before arriving back at the cabin you try to break the silence by speaking his name. Whether it went unheard or deliberately ignored you had no clue. Silently you both march on until the trees grow thinner and a clearing starts to form. Soon you realise it was more than that; a meadow, sodden and now very much boggy, with long grasses scattered here and there. Although the rain was at its thickest, you could just about make out a cabin at the far end. Unlike Emily’s this one was not lit up, making it feel cold and unloved. If it wasn’t for the fact Paul acknowledged your apprehension with a gentle reassuring hand squeeze, you may have run in the opposite direction. Squelching through the mud you soon find yourself looking up at the two story building as it grows closer. From afar it had appeared to be small in size, and despite being smaller than a house, was substantial in comparison to Emily’s. Paul wastes no time in pushing open the front door, which you noted had not been locked. Upon closer inspection you realise the door doesn’t even have a lock. You push the door shut behind you, fighting against the wind but eventually winning, and find yourself in gloom. Instinctively you reach for a lightswitch. Finding one and giving it a flick you discover it doesn’t work.
“The power lines need reconnecting,” his voice breaks through the silence of the house as he appears from a different room carrying an LED Lantern. It casts a small warm glow as he walks around the main room, turning on a few more lanterns which reveal a sparsely furnished lounge-diner. Dust sheets cover the sofas and remnants of kitchen counters cling to the far wall. Sadness fills your heart at the realisation of what you see.
“Do you-” you bite back the lump that rises in your throat. “Do you live here?” you question.
“Sometimes” He shrugs, not wanting to open up. Who can blame him, not even an hour ago you’d hurled insults and physically attacked him. “You must be freezing” he changes subject and gestures for you to follow him through to the other room. Your surprise is evident at how different this room appeared to be. From the massive king sized bed standing in the centre and the chest of drawers, you knew it was a bedroom, but the cleanliness and orderly state didn’t match with the ramshackle, almost derelict appearance of the rest of the cabin. The walls had been freshly plastered and curtains hung from the windows. The bed had been left unmade which indicated he did live here. Another lantern turns on from within another doorway which reveals a large but plain bathroom. You stand dumbfounded in the middle of the room while Paul busies himself. You hear taps turning and the rushing of water before he comes back into view.
“The water’s on and there’s a clean towel…” he trails off.
Not knowing quite what to say and sensing the tension was still hanging thick, you thank him and enter the bathroom. Annoyingly you find there’s no door to the bathroom, but a quick peek showed that Paul was nowhere in sight. Stripping your wet clothes off seemed okay until it came to our trousers, which decided they wanted to cling to you. After wrestling with them for sometime you were finally free. The shower was fitted onto a tiled wall with a drain in the concrete floor, obviously the idea was for a wet room. Gingerly you turned the shower tap and jumped back as cold water hits you. With no sign of the water heating up you pluck up the courage to submerge yourself beneath it, managing to hold back the shriek that desperately tried clawing its way out. At least you could wash off the rain, somehow you always felt like rain was sticky. Soon you were exiting the cold water stream and wrapping a towel around your goosebump covered body. You quickly dried hoping that would warm you, but it didn’t.
Oh.
It dawned on you that your clothes were soaking and wouldn’t easily go back on. Securing the towel tightly around your body you peer into the bedroom again not knowing what to do. Lightning crashes outside, temporarily casting the room in pale blue light and causing you to jump. The shriek you’d kept at bay earlier finally makes an appearance. Thunder rumbles in the distance confirming this storm was far from done. Footsteps entering the room brings your focus back to reality, your eyes travelling to find him.
“You okay?” he eyes you worriedly.
“Lightning caught me by surprise,” your hands hold the towel with a white knuckle grip, afraid it would fall and expose everything. Sensing your awkwardness Paul diverts his gaze.
“I got you some dry clothes, they’ll be big on you but they’ll be warm.” he explains, moving over to the bed where a folded pile waits for you.
“Thank you.” It’s barely audible above the noises from outside but he manages to hear.
“Yeah well, least I could do.” he tells you nonchalantly, as if it meant nothing. He leaves you alone as he heads into the bathroom. Instantly you hear the shower and a blush creeps to your cheeks at how he obviously doesn’t care if you see anything. Not wanting to be indecent you move further into the bedroom and grab the clothes, you sift your way through them finding a long sleeve top, sweater and a pair of his underwear. You feel embarrassed as you slide your legs through the boxer shorts but know it’s better than nothing and are reassured by the thought that they probably look like regular shorts as they’re so big on you. The shower shuts off in the bathroom alerting you that soon you’d have company. Quickly you pull the top over your head followed by the sweater, which honestly was long enough to be a dress - not to mention hide the boxers! Your hair was a matted mess half covering your face, you squeeze as much water out of it using the towel before trying to run your fingers through it not wanting to look like a mess, especially when you sensed the fight from earlier would resume at some point. Feeling as though you looked half decent you sat down on the edge of the bed facing away from the bathroom towards the window. It had grown increasingly dark outside, between that and the rain you couldn’t make out much so resorted to staring at your hands in your lap.
Feet pad across the room behind you followed by the sound of drawers opening. For all you know he could be completely naked but you give in to temptation and glance. Your cheeks flush again as you take in the sight of Paul in nothing but boxers, an identical pair to those you have on. Feeling bad, you avert your eyes but not before he registered your gaze on his back and the change in your mood which floods his senses. As much as he’d kill to entertain the thoughts presently burrowing into your brain, he can’t ignore what happened earlier. Your words had stung. He leans back on the drawers, hands gripping the surface. He studies you for a second, watches as you bring your legs up towards your chest and plant your feet precariously on the bed frame. Protectively your arms wrap around your legs. He knows how vulnerable you feel right now so decides to take a gentle approach.
“Talk to me” he prompts, trying to coax out of you what had happened.
“Or you tell me” you throw back, sounding rather childish. Your chin comes to rest on your knees in defeat. You take a deep breath in, Paul’s scent overwhelms you as it lingers on the clothes, and you decide being angry is exhausting.  “Tell me why I lost my job.” You mumble.
“Son of a bitch” you hear him sigh. Turning your head slightly, you see him rub his eyes in frustration. “I can’t believe…” Your eyes bore into him and in response his grip on the furniture tightens. There's a sound of creaking wood, aside from that of the wind on the building, your eyes widen in shock at the realisation. You jump up and find yourself walking towards him with your gaze fixated on his hand. He releases it as you grab his fingers, pulling them towards you for closer inspection.
“What the hell… how?” you look at the wooden drawers and sure enough there’s a split running along the top. Surely his hand would be hurting. “I don’t understand-”
“Your boss needs to learn to keep his mouth shut.” If you were anyone else he’d have snatched his hand away, but he liked the softness of your skin on his. More importantly he liked your concern for him. He hadn’t exactly believed you wanted him to stay away but your words had caused a wound, which did seem to be healing itself in your presence. Despite wanting to know what had happened to your job, you didn't press for information. It appeared Paul was more than willing to share, perhaps it was the calming feeling you were flooding his senses with or the fact that your touch was bringing down his tough exterior, but right now he couldn’t refuse you anything.
“He was going around saying you couldn’t handle your drink, that underage drinking should be punished and some bullshit about you getting off because of your stepfather.” The words start tumbling from his mouth as he becomes distracted with the hand on his. He flips the roles, taking yours in his gigantic palm, tracing circles over the back with his thumb. He won’t look you in the eyes as he continues. “Told him to mind his business, that he had no clue what was going on but he didn’t like that. He never really liked me but especially not after I punched him.”
“You what?” your mouth drops, “No wonder I’m fired!” Your voice rises as you realise this will get back to Frank and it sure as hell will look like it was done on your behalf. A groan escapes your lips.
“He deserved it, that’s all you need to know.”
“All I need to know?” you scoff, “Don’t presume to know what I do or don’t need to know” you try to scold but it comes across too gently.
“Trust me,” he finally looks you in the eye, not once breaking the hand contact. “Don’t make me repeat some of the awful things that the bastard said '' his jaw clenched tightly whilst his eyes dilated, filling you with sadness. He’s hurting just as much as you and although you’re more than capable of handling your own battles, he doesn’t know that. “I feel very protective of you” he says softly, as if reading the thoughts you were having. His eyes are trained on your face, trying to read how you had taken that information but all of a sudden you have the best poker face anyone has ever had. For the first time, Paul couldn’t read the situation and it frustrated him to no end.
You close off the last few inches that had separated you from each other. His grip on your hand tightens as he feels your body against his and the change in your scent, which suddenly gives your intentions away. You reach up on tiptoes in order to level the playing field, if Paul hadn’t been leaning on the drawers he’d be towering above you. Gingerly you bring your face to his, your breath hitching as excitement courses through you. You don’t hesitate too long, afraid the nerves will get the best of you. Quickly you place a chaste kiss upon his lips before retreating. You look up at him before bursting into laughter and bury your head in his chest.
“Sorry, that was meant to be so much more but I… I’ve never… I don’t know… I just wanted that not to be lame and it so was…” you mumble against his chest, trying to hide the embarrassment you feel. The laughter had surprised him, temporarily making him think he’d missed the punchline of a joke, or that perhaps he was the joke. Within seconds it dawned on him and he finally understood. He knew you were different to any of the other girls he’d been with, the biggest of those differences being that you two were destined for each other; his mate, his imprint. The other, less noticeable, difference was in your scent. An undertone that was delicate yet addictive, which had been driving him crazy trying to work out. Finally he understands. It may have gone unspoken but you know he’s worked it out from the way he delicately holds you and pushes the hair from your face to how he lowers his face to the crook of your neck and takes a deep breath in.
“It’s okay,” He whispers reassuringly, “There’s nothing to be sorry about.” The effect of his breath hitting your neck drives you crazy. Tingles traverse your spine and it takes every ounce of control not to let your knees buckle. Your fingers grip his thumb tightly in an attempt to keep you grounded but it doesn’t work. Short rapid breaths leave your mouth as you turn your face to his, causing his heart to thump in his chest as he tries to remain still. He gives in a little, moving just enough to allow him to see into your eyes. Your nose brushes his chin as you move up once more to tip toes, your hand which was free comes to rest on his abdomen for extra support. You become aware that his hand is on your hips to keep you flush to him, so that you can feel his rock hard muscles and the way they move. You only break eye contact briefly as you glance at his lips. You know he’s watching every move intently but this time it doesn’t bother you, doesn’t make you nervous or shy. Instead it boosts you, knowing he wants this just as much by the way you can feel the pound of his heart. You make the connection, your soft lips meeting his with the lightest of touches. It quickly deepens as you grow used to the feeling of Paul against you, leaving you craving more of him. Your mouth moves against his as your hand travels to his neck releasing his thumb, allowing him the use of that hand to steady you as you reach up higher on your toes. The grip on your waist tightens as pressure hits your hip bone which encourages you as it sends electricity raging through the nerves. If it wasn’t for your ribs, your heart may have broken free of your body due to the pace it was currently keeping. A pain enters your lungs as if they were on fire causing you to break the kiss. You suck air in greedily as you remember how vital it was for survival.
“Don’t forget to breathe” he whispers, also breathless. Briefly he touches his forehead to yours as you sink back down onto your feet, fighting the lightheadedness. It doesn’t take long for his face to refind the crook of your neck and place a kiss on your collar bone. Behind his neck your fingers lace into his hair as he places kisses along your jaw before finding your lips once more. You're ready for his assault and welcome it as you suck in his lower lip, instincts taking over completely as your fingers grip tightly in his hair, eliciting a soft moan from him that resonates through you. His hands release themselves from your waist and find the hemline of the jumper on your thigh, his fingers graze over your skin and leave goosebumps in their wake as they travel higher. You move your thighs tighter together upon instinct, as pressure builds, but also as a silent warning for him to leave there well alone. Paul, being a decent guy, had other ideas anyway, his hands roamed further than your thighs and came to reside on your back, the skin on skin contact sending more shivers up your spine and a gasp from your mouth. His mouth once again travels back to the crook of your neck. Here your scent is sweetest and he can feel the beat of your pulse travelling your jugular. He smiles against your skin as he revels in the idea that he caused this effect on you. You hadn’t noticed the slight graze on your skin from stubble earlier but now, as you're left anticipating his next move, you’re aware of everything. His breath is hot and heavy like yours but perhaps better regulated and you can’t help but wonder why he’s smiling, all thoughts are soon banished as he plants a kiss, the graze of stubble making your eyes flutter at the sensation. You whisper his name and in response his hand moves to your waist, letting cold air touch your skin as the movement stirs the jumper. It all adds to the pleasure. You want his hands to travel further up, to feel his touch on your breasts, but he’s holding back. Instead he starts littering more kisses along your neck before sighing.
Oh god. Why’s he sighing? What’s wrong? You start questioning everything, getting inside your own head.
“Why did I give you a jumper?” He lets out a little chuckle as he leaves a kiss by the neckline of the fabric, unable to go any further. You respond with an involuntary whine at the thought of not feeling his mouth continuing it’s decent. Hearing the noise escape your lips stirs something in Paul that makes him grip your hips so tight it makes you gasp, which doesn’t help his control in this moment. He forces himself to go slowly as he once again goes back to that sweet spot, fueled by primal instinct. You’re his and he wants everyone to know it. He places one final gentle kiss before attaching his lips in a suction over your soft skin. To his delight you let out a moan as he continues to suck at the spot. After a minute he gives up his position and leans away from you, taking in your appearance. You're staring up at him with big doey eyes and lips swollen and parted. His hands slide out from the jumper and move to the neckline, pulling the material aside for optimal viewing. A wicked smile dances across his lips before his hands move to find yours and hold them, giving them a squeeze as a blush creeps onto your features.
“You okay?” He asks, bringing one of your hands to his lips and placing a kiss on top. As you come back to reality the events flood back in and you start to over analyse, wondering how stupid you must have sounded moaning or if you did anything incorrectly. “Hey,” he snaps you away from your thoughts “Stop” he whispers and places a kiss on your forehead before asking “Do you overthink everything?” You feel his mouth move into a smile as he teases you.
“Yes” you say through a shaky breath, not yet fully recovered. You swallow to regain yourself “something you’ll have to get used to” you try to match his joky tone but he manages to turn it serious once more.
“I look forward to it.”
Felix Volturi w/ His Mate Mood board
Tumblr media
When I was creating this, I literally fell in love with this giant of a vampire all over again. I mean I wish I had paid more attention to Twilight when It first came out but at the time I was about 5 (damn I feel old now). If I did paid attention, Felix would of won my heart in a second. I might create a second part to this, who knows?
WHEN I WAS YOUR MAN (B)
(PART TWO (B) OF WHEN I WAS YOUR MAN (A) (“SO I CAN HAVE YOU BACK” SERIES))
⚠️WARNING⚠️: I mean… not really, maybe some violence because vampires need to eat and that… I guess sadness and long-ass descriptions also count… maybe
A/N: Hi there, it's been a while, haha.... So... Please remember that English isn't my first language, that I haven't been active for months and that I'm a tired college graduate. Thank you. ♥️ Hope you enjoy this crazy thing. That you forgive my spelling and grammatical mistakes, and that you can leave a heart or comment on your way out.
PART 1 - PART 2 - PART 3 - PART 4
It all just sounds like ooh, ooh, ooh, hoo
Mm, too young, too dumb to realize
That I should have bought you flowers
And held your hand
Should have gave you all my hours
When I had the chance
Take you to every party 'cause all you wanted to do was dance
If you had to explain the meeting with the kings in just a couple of words, those would be: unexpected and confusing. Of course, this would be simplifying the meeting in a way that is almost insulting, but what could you do about it? It wasn’t like you could put all your feelings in words and expect everybody to understand what you were trying to express. Still, unexpected and confusing could be the best choice of words, even if they were quite poor.
First of all, the kings were quite charming.
That wasn't surprising, after all, they needed to have a certain charm in themselves to be able to rule over all the vampires in the world. Since, it didn't matter how strong they were, if all the vampires decided that the Volturi didn’t deserve their power, they would be able to dethrone them. So, they were charming in a way that made you want to follow them.
Their words seemed to be carefully united in sentences meant for you to want to be with them while fearing the idea of disappointing them. Even Caius, the most ruthless and rude of the three had a certain charm to him that you couldn’t help but want to see more. Marcus was sad, that was quite obvious, apathy was a horrible and depressing sickness of which the king seemed to be a victim. Still, he was like a calm force that made you feel like you were alone in the middle of a forest far away from all human life, without the weight of the expectations that are tied to your mere existence.
King Aro was another thing completely.
First of all, he was gorgeous. His black hair was bright and framed a perfect angular and gorgeous face, his height and body were so symmetrical that they made you want to cry. His eyes shone with the playfulness and mischief of a man that has a kid’s soul… All of those traits should make you fall for him, should make you want to bend over your back to please him and to make his wishes come true but… Those beautifully perfect traits only made you want to hide and avoid being in his sight.
He was so breathtaking that you knew that he could use and would use this as a weapon to get what he wanted no matter what. He was dangerous in a way that was pulling. It was like seeing a lion or a tiger, grand beasts, alluring and charming in a way that made you want to walk towards them and caress their magnificent coat, but dangerous in a way that you knew that as soon as you were close enough to them, you would be killed in a horrendous way.
Of course, Aro knew your thoughts and at some point even your feelings, but luckily for you, he was mostly flattered by them. After all, he knew that you respected them and their way of ruling. Also, the fact that you were Carlisle’s mate was a plus for them, Carlisle was your friend and if you were his mate -even when being too good for him- then they would treat you with the same care as they treated their old friend.
The weight of the moment was not lost on you as you stood before the Volturi, their powerful presence enveloping the grand throne room. Aro's warm and soothing tone resonated in your ears as he acknowledged your loyalty and the significance of your connection with Carlisle.
The mention of being Carlisle's mate had its own impact. It was both a validation and a reminder of the complexities of relationships, even among immortals. The Volturi, with their keen insight into the minds and hearts of others, understood the depth of your feelings and the conflict you had experienced. But rather than judgment, they responded with an unexpected and welcoming acceptance.
"Oh, you lost lamb," Aro's voice resonated through the grand throne room, laced with a mixture of sympathy and disappointment. His words carried a weighty truth, causing you to pause and reflect on the nature of your relationship with Carlisle. "A mate is a gift for our lonely existences. It's quite disappointing to see our dear friend acting like a foolish human, moved by sentiment and doubts when the world gifted you to him to accompany his days and nights."
As Aro spoke, his warm tone enveloped you, offering a semblance of comfort. His hand gently caressed your cold skin, the touch reminiscent of a father soothing a distraught child. For a brief moment, you closed your eyes, feeling the venom gathering within your eyes, a testament to the intense emotions stirring within. However, despite the overwhelming surge of emotions, you refused to succumb to tears. You had grown weary of being relegated to second place, undeserving of the love and recognition you craved.
In that moment, you resolved to forge your own path, to find happiness on your own terms. The words spoken by Aro reverberated in your mind, causing a newfound strength to surge within. You knew you deserved more than being treated as a secondary choice. The realization dawned upon you, illuminating a path toward self-discovery and embracing the love that awaited you.
With a renewed determination, you opened your eyes, meeting Aro's gaze squarely. The red hue of his irises pierced through your soul, acknowledging the fire that burned within you. You had come to Volterra seeking solace and answers, and now you found yourself entangled in the intricate web of vampire politics and profound connections.
In this grand throne room, where the fate of many was determined, you were offered a glimpse of a different future—one that held promises of love, power, and belonging. Aro's words, though steeped in disappointment, held a glimmer of opportunity. They resonated deep within you, stirring an unwavering resolve to embrace the life you truly deserved.
“Aro…” Marcus said in a whisper, breaking your train of thoughts and bringing you back to the current moment. Still, his voice was quite strong and deep in the middle of the silent throne room. Aro pulled away from you and in a blink of an eye, he was by his brother’s side. His hands were touching Marcus’ offered limb with the eagerness of a child that was in on a secret that nobody else could know. As soon as he finish watching what the other king was trying to show, he let out an elated giggle, looking at you and at Nikolas with bright and playful eyes. The red in Marcus’ and Aro’s orbs went directly through your soul.
“My kings?” Nikolas asked, looking at the three vampires sitting on their thrones. Caius, unlike other times, looked quite interested in your presence. It was clear that he was curious, but… why?
“My dear brother has seen something quite interesting between you two…” Aro said while walking back towards where you were standing. “It’s almost impossible to find your mate, but to find your true mate, the one that is made for you no matter what, after being rejected by one of the possible mates in this world? That is priceless, never been heard of and now… now we are able to see it happening right in front of our eyes… That’s truly marvellous…” The long-haired king let out with an elated and mischievous tone of voice.
You looked directly and Nikolas, unable to explain how you felt over this development but also knowing that in the middle of the storm of emotions, part of it was pure happiness. After all, you weren’t alone. You wouldn’t be a second choice, not for this gorgeous creature in front of you. Nikolas put his hands over your cheeks and showed a charming and caring smile that only confirmed your thoughts. You really were the only one for him.
“Child… What’s your gift?” Caius asked in a cold and a bit rude tone of voice, looking at the interaction without any care for the lovely dovely feeling that surrounded you and your just-found mate.
“Oh, brother… must you interrupt this moment? Dear (y/n) over here, is a mirror, a magnificent mirror capable of coping, whipping back, or stopping another vampire’s gifts… Surely, he can become a fabulous addition to our guard… a powerful vampire willing to do anything to maintain the peace we are so used to and willing to eliminate or neutralize any threat against his beloved…” Aro said with a smirk while looking at you.
You wouldn’t doubt it, not for a second. Your eyes shone with the possibility of staying in Volterra, with the idea of being part of one of the most powerful clans in the world, with the idea of helping and being appreciated while also being able to stay with your mate, to get to know the gorgeous creature that life sent for you.
“Of course, my kings… I would be honoured to serve and protect…” You said while vowing in front of them, before lifting your head and looking at the three governors. While doing so, your eyes managed to catch three powerful and charismatic smiles.
Now my baby's dancing
But she's dancing with another man
After your initial introduction to the Volturi kings and your acceptance of the prestigious position within their guard, it didn't take long for you to integrate yourself into the group of vampires that lived in the fortress. The grand halls of Volterra became your new home, and the enigmatic Volturi guard became your family.
The first encounters were with Demetri and Felix, the two, even if they acted like dorks most of the time, were actually quite formidable vampires who possessed both strength and skill that matched their intimidating presence. Of course, you knew that their appareance was just a mask, since as you spent more time with them, their rough exteriors and stoic expressions gave way to camaraderie, mutual respect and playful and caring bond that made you think of two older brothers that would prank you and protect you when necessary. You found common ground in your shared duties and the pursuit of safeguarding the Volturi's reign. Demetri's astute tracking abilities and Felix's unwavering loyalty became traits you admired and found solace in, knowing they would have your back no matter what.
Alec, a cold, stoic but loyal member of the guard, caught your attention with his unwavering devotion to the Volturi kings. There was an air of innocence about him, reminiscent of a young child in awe of their parents. His admiration for Aro and the others was palpable, and it painted a picture of pure loyalty and dedication to his duty and his masters. The more time you spend with him, the more you noticed how underneath his seemingly stoic exterior, there was a young vampire who yearned for guidance and approval, and you found yourself drawn to his endearing nature, wanting to comfort him.
Jane, the other youngest member of the guard -with her brother-, presented a unique challenge. Her rough edges and seemingly unyielding demeanour were a result of a past that had not offered her the kindness she deserved. As you observed her, same as with her brother, you sensed a need for guidance and compassion, the need for someone who could teach her the beauty of empathy and gentleness. With patience and understanding, you slowly broke through her defences, earning her trust and acceptance. It was a testament to your character and the genuine connections you forged within the guard.
The rest of the Volturi guard, comprising various vampires with their own unique gifts and histories, embraced your presence without hesitation. Their acceptance was solidified by the kings themselves, who had extended their open arms and entrusted you with the responsibility of protecting their dynasty. Your own gift, like Aro had explained in your first meeting, was quite unique and interesting, and it also made you an invaluable asset to the guard's arsenal.
But perhaps what solidified your place among the Volturi guard was the bond that had formed between you and Nikolas. The strength of your connection as mates was evident to all, and something that had not gone unnoticed by the guard. Nikolas, the captivating and powerful vampire with a charming smile and a fierce devotion to those he cared about, had taken a liking to you. His fondness for you only further cemented your acceptance within the guard, as nobody would dare provoke his wrath. After all, Nikolas was one of the strongest vampires in the whole guard, being considered an unbreakble shield for so long.
With each passing day, your role within the Volturi guard became more entrenched. You found solace in the shared purpose and the unspoken bond that tied you to these vampires. The tasks, training and work that they gave you helped you forget about your past life. Nikolas also helped. Your gorgeous mate, with his pale skin, strong physique, and dark hair that framed his unnaturally perfect face, possessed an irresistible charm that left a lasting impression. His captivating smile and alluring italian accent only added to his appeal, making him a figure of intrigue and magnetism within the Volturi guard. Sure, all the vampires were perfect, but meanwhile some didn’t look like they were meant to be considered in the group of unnatural beauty and magnetism, Nikolas was different. He had such an appearance that it made you think that even as a human, he would be considered superior among his peers.
When you and Nikolas first crossed paths, the connection was immediate and undeniable. Of course that as mates, you wanted to be together. But while your instincts screamed for you to claim the other vampire as yours, your heart and mind was still healing from the pain that your relationship with Carlisle had left you. Nikolas was really kind and understood perfectly your doubts and fears. He, recognizing that you were still healing from your previous relationship with Carlisle, decided to proporse that you began your relationship as friends, taking the time to explore and nurture the blossoming bond between you.
During this time, the gardens of Volterra became your sanctuary, a tranquil haven where you two had found solace in each other's company. Nikolas and you would often spend hours in the middle of the vibrant flora, basking in the warm sunlight that filtered through the leaves that hid your shinning bodies. You would read together or to one another, your voices intertwining with the rustling of pages, as you delved into literature that sparked your curiosity and ignited your imaginations.
Long conversations became the foundation of your friendship. Those were the moments that helped you understand that Nikolas wasn’t only following his instincts. No, unlike Carlisle, he truly seemed to want to be around you. This allowed you to share your hopes, dreams, and even your fears with Nikolas. In return, he did the same, confessing his different thoughts and feelings in those afternoons hidden between the flowers of the garden. As the both of you opened up to one another, your connection deepened, each revelation strengthening the trust that you had cultivated with each other. You would speak of your gift, talking about the advantages and problems that it created for you, while Nikolas would tell you the tales of his immense strength and extraordinary tracking ability.
Thanks to this interactions and moments together your friendship began to evolve, as stolen glances turned into lingering touches, and laughter filled the air whenever you were together. The chemistry between you was palpable, an undercurrent of desire simmering beneath the growing affection that bathed your exchanges. Yet, considering the time together and the need for reassurance, you two cherished the foundation you had built, unwilling to rush into something more before both of you were ready for a romantic connection.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, as your friendship continued to flourish, to grow and get stronger. During this times, you found solace in each other's presence, a sense of belonging that you both had searched for so many years. Through shared adventures and quiet moments of vulnerability, you discovered a love that was both gentle and fierce, nurturing the deepest corners of your souls. It was like that, between conversations and soft touches that you confessed and accepted Nikolas’ proposal to continue your time together as lovers.
Although it hurts
I'll be the first to say that I was wrong
Oh, I know I'm probably much too late
To try and apologize for my mistakes
But I just want you to know
As the moon cast its gentle glow upon the room, you found yourself lying in bed with Nikolas, this was the first time sharing a bed with your mate. The first time you decided to open yourself to him and to let the other vampire touch you in ways that only Carlisle had done before. Still, you weren’t scared and you didn’t have any doubts, your bodies close and your hearts filled with the fluttering excitement of newfound love. The coolness of your skin against each other only heightened the sensations, soft touches with such strong bodies, as you explored the depths of intimacy and romance.
Nikolas's eyes, filled with adoration and tenderness, met yours, and a soft smile played upon his lips. It was a look that spoke volumes, conveying the depth of his feelings without uttering a single word or even making a noise. You didn’t need it, the way he was looking at you, the way his fingers and lips touched your skin, his actions spoke more than any word in the world could say. At that moment, you knew that you were both embarking on a journey of love and connection, unlike anything you had experienced before… and even if you didn’t have any doubts, to begin with, this sensation only reassured you even more that you were making the right decision by letting him embrace you in his bed.
Drawing you into his embrace, Nikolas's touch was gentle and almost reverent, his fingers tracing delicate patterns along your cheek, going down your neck and chest. Every caress, every brush of his lips against your skin, ignited a warmth within you that surpassed the absence of mortal warmth. You knew that if you were humans, your skin would feel as hot as an open fire. His love and his actions were something that transcended physicality. This was a bond worthy of being considered a soulmate, a bond that didn’t stay in the instinct part of things, that didn’t support itself in empty words and promises. No, this was a type of love that was delving into the realms of the soul.
Leaning in, his lips met yours in a tender kiss, filled with a sweet longing and a desire to convey all the emotions that words couldn't express. It was a moment of vulnerability and trust, where the barriers between you crumbled, and you were left basking in the pure connection that blossomed between your hearts. As your bodies moved in sync, exploring the contours of each other with a tenderness that defied the coolness of your vampire nature, a symphony of whispered endearments and soft sighs filled the air. Every touch, every caress, was an affirmation of the love that was blooming between you, like a delicate flower unfurling its petals.
Wrapped in each other's arms, time seemed to stand still, it was as if someone had frozen you in a picture, away from the rest of the world, allowing you to savour the sweetness of this deep and caring love. There were no worries or doubts, only the purity of the present moment, where you both discovered the beauty of intimacy and affection that surpassed mortal understanding. You couldn’t think of anything else, only his touches on your skin, his words being whispered in your ears, and his body so close to yours.
You could feel his arms around your waist, the way his fingers caressed the exposed skin and the way he breathed your scent. You knew this was on purpose, you knew he didn’t need to breathe at all, he only wanted to feel your scent close to him. He wanted to know that you trusted so much that you were willing to bare your neck and your body to him. That was the thing that made it so special.
With every breath, you could sense the mingling of your scents—his uniquely masculine aroma blending with the delicate hints of your own fragrance. It was a primal and intoxicating combination, a fusion of identities that marked the merging of two souls deeply entwined in love and desire. The subtle nuances of his scent enveloped you, filling your senses and creating an indelible imprint of his presence within you.
He was also smelling you, taking your scent in and staying close to your skin as if he was trying to imprint it in his memory. Carlisle never did that for too long. His moments with you were brief and just to fill his necessity of being close to his mate, unlike the moments spent with Nikolas. Your gorgeous mate made sure to show you how much he wanted to be with you, how much he trusted you and needed you in his life.
Of course, the fact that you two felt so strongly for each other, and the fact that you were mates didn’t make any sense. After all, how could you have Nikolas as your mate while also having Carlisle as another mate? That didn’t make sense, even the kings were confused by this… but you didn’t care, nobody cared about it. It was almost like a miracle in your awfully lonely lives. So you decided to not pay attention to it.
Even if you knew that since you had a second mate, this meant that Nikolas probably also had a second mate… so this could be a risk, this could mean that the other vampire would eventually find his second mate and would have to make the choice to stay or leave you. Still, the idea of being loved -even with the uncertainty of the future- was so amazing that you wanted to ignore the real world at least for a little bit. You wanted to ignore the fact that Carlisle was out there, with his wife and children, not caring for one bit that you ran away, you wanted to ignore the possibility of Nikolas’ other mate running around wanting to find him, you wanted to ignore all the duty and responsibilities that the two of you had with your guard and your kings. You just wanted to stay in this blessed moment of warmth and silence while being in the arms of this creature that loved you with all his being.
The weight of your vampire nature, with its coolness and lack of heartbeat, seemed inconsequential in this moment of shared vulnerability and intimacy. In Nikolas's arms, you found a haven where the frigid reality of your existence melted away, replaced by the warmth of his touch and the intensity of your emotional connection. It was a testament to the power of love, transcending the limitations of your immortal forms and allowing you to experience a depth of intimacy that surpassed anything you had known before.
In this space, where only you and he were in each other embrace, time seemed to stand still. The concerns and obligations that burdened your minds were eclipsed by the all-consuming passion and affection that flowed between you. Each stolen kiss, every whispered word, was an affirmation of the profound connection you shared—an unspoken promise to explore the depths of love and desire that awaited you. As your bodies melded together, the limits between you blurred until they disappeared completely, and you became lost in the intoxicating dance of passion, letting yourself go and relish in your time together as mates. The flow of your movements mirrored the cadence of your souls, entwined in a rhythm that defied mortal comprehension. It was a symphony of sensations, impossible to be explained by simple words, an intimate conversation between two hearts discovering the boundless depths of what could be considered true love for the first time in their inmortal lives.
I hope he buys you flowers
I hope he holds your hand
Give you all his hours
When he has the chance
Take you to every party
'Cause I remember how much you loved to dance
Do all the things I should have done
When I was your man
Do all the things I should have done
When I was your man
In the forest near the Cullen house, the air was thick with tension as you, now standing as one of the vampires representing the Volturi, came face to face with Carlisle. Years had passed since you last had any contact with him, and many other things, you were able to love someone else, have new friends, you learned and gained years of experience that made you wiser than before. Gone was the little vampire that only believed in instinct and that believed that everything could be perfect with someone by your side. You were stronger, smarter and even if you were in love with your gorgeous Nikolas, you weren’t naive enough to think that nobody would try to break you apart. You trusted your partner, but you weren’t going to let someone try to come between you. Still, seeing him in front of you, looking exactly like the last time you saw each other, made the wounds from the past open a bit.
As you and Carlisle locked eyes, a mixture of emotions swirled within you. Anger, hurt, and a lingering sense of betrayal coursed through your veins. You were over him, you didn’t want him back and you wouldn’t leave Nikolas for that poor excuse of a vampire that couldn’t follow the most basic of all rules. Still, the memories of how Carlisle had treated you, the way he had disregarded your feelings and mistreated you, still haunted your thoughts from time to time, and seeing him again, only opened a wound.
For a moment you cursed the time you accepted to follow Orion’s orders and come to Forks. The moment you decided to act like his representative and come to deal with the newborn problem. Still, how could you deny him? Your heart ached with the similarities between your stories and with the fact that your pasts had the same villains in them.
You could still remember the way that in the grand halls of the Volturi fortress, amidst the opulent architecture, the whispers of immortal beings could be heard. All of the members of the guard that were able to be present talked about the fated reunion between the kings and their mates. You could say that, as the enigmatic and captivating mate of the Volturi kings, Orion's arrival in the castle marked a moment of significance and anticipation.
You weren’t surprised by the guards' reaction. After all, as soon as you saw Orion, you understood why the kings were so fond of the vampire that ran away from the Cullen clan. Orion, with his ethereal beauty and regal presence, commanded attention and respect from all who laid eyes upon him. It almost felt like beauty was his gift, but no. His gift was a more dangerous one, a power that you couldn’t begin to understand. His arrival in the Volturi stronghold was met with a mixture of curiosity and reverence. After all, his presence in the castle signified a union of power and love, an unbreakable bond that transcended the bounds of immortality.
When the kings introduced you to Orion, you couldn’t help but smile, it was like a silent reassurance of a forming bond between you happening at the exact moment your eyes met. As Orion's gaze met yours for the first time, a connection sparked between you, forged by shared purpose and unspoken understanding and friendship. At that moment, you saw the weight of responsibility he carried, the sacrifices he had made for the sake of love and loyalty. There was a vulnerability in his eyes, a silent plea for acceptance and support, which you pledged to provide without hesitation. You looked at him and couldn’t help but be sympathetic to his life and history. It was at that moment that you decided to be not only his guard and protector but also be a friend, a confidant when he needed and maybe even some kind of brother.
Aro introduced you to Orion and you could feel how the weight of his words hung in the air. You knew that you were important in Volterra, but to be considered as strong as necessary to be part of the personal guard of your king’s mate? That was reassuring. Your king has affirmed the significance of your role in the castle and you couldn’t help but answer with your actions, body moving on his own and making you vow your head with pride, your eyes never leaving Orion’s. It was a promise, a silent commitment to protect and help the future governor of your coven.
As a member of the guard, you stood at the forefront, ready to protect and serve Orion with unwavering loyalty. Your role as his guardian was not merely a duty; it was a testament to the trust and affection that had been bestowed upon you. Your purpose was to ensure his safety and well-being, standing as a shield against any threat that dared to challenge the sanctity of his presence.
Carlisle took a hesitant step forward, pulling you away from your memories. He looked directly at you with a pained expression on his face and his voice filled with regret. "(y/n), I cannot express how deeply sorry I am for the way I made you feel… You must believe me… I realize now the mistakes I made, and I understand the pain I caused you… But you don’t know how long I searched for you… Please, come back… let me make it right. Stay with us, with my family. I want to make amends… I want to prove that I can be the mate you deserve… Esme and I aren’t together anymore, after you left… nothing was the same."
You listened, your guard still up, your heart burdened by the weight of past wounds. Carlisle's words stirred a mix of emotions within you, and for a moment, you contemplated the possibility of forgiveness… You would never go back to him, not in a million years. You had Nikolas and you would never leave the gorgeous mate that the world had gifted you, but still… You considered the idea of having a friendship with him, an understanding of sorts… Of course, these thoughts disappeared the moment you remember the feelings of abandonment and the sensations of being always considered second place in the blonde’s heart… it was then that the raw pain resurfaced, and you found the strength to voice your distress.
"Carlisle, it's too late," you replied, your voice tinged with sorrow and bitterness. "You had countless opportunities to treat me with respect and kindness, to be the partner I deserved… the mate you were supposed to be… But instead, you turned your back on me, treating me as though I was insignificant…”
Regret and anguish etched themselves onto Carlisle's face as he realized the gravity of his actions. He reached out, his hand trembling slightly as if hoping to bridge the emotional chasm that had formed between you. “(y/n)... please… I can be better, come back to me… you know I can be better…” He said, almost in a whisper with a shaky tone of voice. Still, in the silence of the forest, his voice sounded so loud.
You let out a sigh, looking at him with a tired and bitter expression on your face. “I always came last, I was always the one left alone… You only care right now because you don’t have me by your side but… You don’t want me back because of love, but because of a weird sense of duty…"
 "I understand that I failed you, and I can't change the past. But I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make amends, to prove to you that I've learned from my mistakes… Give me a chance…" Carlisle said, eyes shining and you knew… you were absolutely sure that if he could, he would cry.
A bitter chuckle escaped your lips, laced with a mix of sadness and disbelief. "Carlisle, you don't understand… do you? You had your chance, in fact… you had multiple chances of proving to me that you wanted me in your life, that you wanted to try to have a real relationship with me and not the lie that we were living for so many months… and you threw it away. You decided to spit on the universe's face by treating your mate poorly, and now, I have found someone else… and he… He loves me like there's nothing else in the world, and I know that he would never betray me."
Carlisle's expression turned crestfallen as your words sank in. It was obvious that he didn’t expect you to love someone else, but… what did he think was going to happen? Even when heartbroken, you were gorgeous, an unreal beauty that even vampires could see as unique…
The weight of your words hung heavy in the air, each syllable a testament to the pain you had endured. Carlisle's gaze met yours, filled with remorse and regret. "I can't change what I've done, but I want to make things right. Please, give me the chance to prove that I have changed, that I am capable of being the partner you deserve."
This insistence, his useless intents to make you go back to him were starting to be annoying for you, something quite obvious thanks to the mixture of irritation and resignation coloured your voice as you responded, "God, understand that it's too late. You had your chance, and you lost it, in fact, you threw it away like it was nothing… I have moved on, and I have found someone who values me and cherishes me without reservation. I deserve that love, and I won't settle for less."
A profound silence descended upon the forest, the weight of unspoken words hanging in the air. You took a step back, your voice softening with a hint of sadness. "I wish you well, Carlisle, but my place is no longer by your side. We weren’t the right ones for each other… I don’t know who is for you but… I was able to find my soulmate and I have chosen my own happiness… Move on, Carlisle, because I will never look back…"
With those words, you turned and began to walk away, each step a testament to your strength and self-preservation. Carlisle stood there, his heart heavy with the knowledge of his mistakes and the pain he had caused. As he watched you disappear into the distance, he couldn't help but feel a deep sense of loss, knowing that he had let go of something precious. He had everything and because of his stupid old ways and his lack of consideration, he lost the most wonderful thing the world had given him in his miserable life.
I'm almost done with my first work for linked universe!!
I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER SO HERE'S A SHNEAK PEAK, IT'LL BE UP IN A BIT, I PROMISE 🫶🏻🐝
Time was seated on a log, carving at a piece of wood, while Hyrule and Sky mixed up a salve to help soothe your aching muscles. Four was polishing his sword, sitting next to Wars, who was twirling a small knife in his hand. Wind was snoozing away peacefully at your side, snoring loudly. Twillight was leaning on Epona, gently stroking her mane. She had decided she needed a break too and let herself rest underneath a nearby tree. Legend was kicking rocks. Literally. He paced around the camp and seemed deep in thought, kicking away a small stone every so often. And you? Well, you were in the middle of all of this. But you loved every second of it. It was overall quiet, except for the sounds of nature or the ones your companions were making. The soft sound of Wind's snores, Times wood carving, and the grinding of the mortar and pestle interrupted by the occasional scrape of Legends boots against the ground. And then there were the smells. The smokiness of the fire, the herby scent of the tincture Sky and Hyrule were concocting, and the mouth-watering aromas of Wild's hearty meat stew were filling your nose. As exhausting and draining the journey has been, these moments where everything seemed.. like it would be alright, would replenish your energy as well as your soul for evermore. You couldn't help but smile, looking over at Wind, who was still napping next to you. Staring off into the distance, you admired the grand view that was Hyrule. The towering mountains, green meadows and trees, the pink and orange sky all accompanied by the castle at the horizon. What a sight. You wished it would be under different circumstances, though. Ones where there wasn't in underlying feeling of dread settling in your stomach, wondering how long until everything was turned upside down again. This was too good to be true. But just for a moment, you allowed yourself to bask in the warm embrace of Hyrules setting sun, surrounded by your Links, your friends, companions, and Heroes.
I can't wait for all of you to read it! 🩷
You and I, ; cullen family x male reader
[part 1, part 2.5]
not proofread lol
- hints at jasper x male reader !;)
Tumblr media
the h/c nett slowly but surely sat up, he looked around unfamiliar with where he was. being wary with the new setting, he looked to the side of him and big window came into his veiw there was nothing but miles of woods, taking in the green scenery "what the fuck?" his voice barely coming above a whisper. he stood up completely, now seeing the whole picture, was he kidnapped? he didn't have anything restraining him. he quickly moved the draping blanket off his body. he went near the door, before he could twist the knob he heard a voice. it was soft it held some firmness to it but nothing over assertive. the door open slowly, once the y/n saw a patch of color towards him. he swung his right arm at the person. quickly feeling what he would've imagined breaking your hand felt like, happened to him."damn bitch the fuck you made out of? steel?" he couldn't stop himself before realizing what he'd said. "something like that," the man answered somewhat truthfully. he chuckled but quickly stopped seeing you hold your hand close to your chest. "here, give me your hand" he held his out towards you. "wait aren't you dr. cullen?" the e/c suddenly remembered him when his brother had gotten a high fever when he was around 6, "mhm, but you know you don't have to call me that, I'm carlise culllen"  he mumered concentrated at the younger boys hand, inspecting it closely.
"how did I get here," y/n started he could easily see mr.cullen tense a bit. "I have no memory what happened, or even how I got here." You remarked, closing your eyes trying to remember what happened. 'I finished school, I went home then I was going to-- "Lucy! I was going to pick up lucy!" you blurted, carlise looking at you a bit taken a back, I mean Lucy? who is Lucy? "my sister I was going to pick her up," you suddenly got up "thank you so much Mr. cullen but I have to leave," you stared to walk down out of the door to be met with an golden brown pair of eyes. " excuse me sir" you tried your best at an apology. running down the stairs you gave a quick small smile to the group of 4 people spread out to the kitchen island and the couch.
running out of the door at an fast paced jog wondering where you were, looking around like you've never set foot in forks before. quickly patting yourself down looking for your phone, only to realize it wasn't there. the dumbfounded male grunted and dashed to the door from where he just left, the group of 4 became 6 with how little time he had left. "hey Mr. cullen do you have my phone? I mean I still don't know what time it is and my sister is in daycare so-" you stopped you frantic rant. quickly looking at the old blonde, "sorry but I do need my phone" your thoughts were racing, it's was like a race track up there. Unknowingly to you, you gave a certain ginger an headache. Carilise gave a small nod and walked by the coffee table, picking up your small phone. you smiled gratefully at him once again. "Thank you so much agian Mr. cullen" you gently said.
he gave a small nod, you checked the time on your phone while hurrying out of the mansion. 2:41? mumbling a small string of profanities talking to yourself on how embarrassing that was for you. you sister, in the third grade got out of school at 3:55. you must've confused the time when you first went out. you quietly walked back home. you weren't to far but not that close either, your house was about 3 miles apart from the cullens. you sighed once you opened the door and closing it behind you.
back with the cullens
"what an odd fellow," the oldest of them all say, the rest of then nodded their head agreeing with him. but one of them, jasper, couldn't take his mind off of the younger male, maybe he'll could stare afar from lunch or the couple classes they share toghther.
