I realized something (yeah it took me that long XD)

if the imprinting storyline is removed, much of Leah’s story is no longer tragic.

No sad love-triangle, no judging her for being upset at having to see Sam’s thoughts and the others seeing hers all the time (while we’re at it, the uncontrolled hive-mind should be scratched too). And nothing of Emily and Sam’s love story, at least not in it’s original version.

Sorry, but it’s not romantic how much about it is out of (his) control, and what it did to her and Leah. It’s just not.

In this story, she’s either with Sam as his second-in-command and girlfriend, or maybe even just his friend? Maybe there never was a romance in the first place and him and Emily dated normally?

Furthermore, unrelated to the imprinting, her period stopping or not due to the transformation, to me, is up for debate, as I think we can all agree that a woman should be respected and not feel like less if she can’t have children (because that’s messed up, Meyer).

And of course, her dad did not die after seeing her transform for the first time.

Also - let’s swing back to Sam. Maybe she was in love with him, but he fell in love with Emily. He felt conflicted about it and didn’t want to lose her as a friend, , to which she decided she didn’t want to be in the way of them being happy. In this story, she’s much more over Sam and maybe tries to guide Jacob to do the same with Bella.

I like this. I’m keeping it.

Whenever Bella and Alice get a quiet moment to themselves they end up cuddling. Usually Alice is the one all snuggled up to Bella, all curled up like a cat. In the summer her cold skin is heavenly, in winter it is... not exactly that but still good!

Someone just pointed out that in the final battle scene in Breaking Dawn, Jasper is dismembered but not burned. So he's still alive on the ground but Alice is reacting like if he were dead.
