It's the dream of every Blue's Clues/Blue's Clues & You fan to be able to sit in the Thinking Chair, and today I was lucky enough to live that dream at their Pop-Up Celebration in Manhattan 🤩
It was an absolutely unreal experience, which feels like big words to give for sitting in a chair, but my inner child explodes at the idea of finally having sat in the most iconic piece of furniture in media for me. Also it was a really comfy chair, like wow I would sit in it all day if I could 😝
("Gosh.. chair.." How eloquently put, Past Tech 😋 Gotta love that mix of brain-numbing excitement and social anxiety from the people nearby 😅)
At the event I also got to hug and take photos with Blue and Rainbow Puppy, play with some bucket drums, and I even got a bunch of free goodies! And the people working for the event were the absolute sweetest, always excited and willing to help take pictures and show excitement for the series/movie. Plus they all complimented my Josh-themed outfit 😊
Overall, as short of a time I was there for(and as ❄️freezing❄️ cold as I was the entire time), it was a wonderful event! 🏙🐾💙
Today I found a pair of glasses perched on top of a bush on the side of the road. Usually, I resist the urge to pick up random lost objects, but they look exactly like the frames I’ve been lusting after online, soooo the bush hath provided, and I’m grateful.
Spent all day doing grocery shopping and stocking up the newest flatmate with all the stuff she needs. She just arrived from Kenya so there was quite a bit. Then we all got hungry and found a Cambodian restaurant with no customers so naturally we chose there. Hot and sour noodle soup was really good but it has stained my mouth orange like a Tupperware which brought my three new friends (Chinese, Malaysian and Kenyan) endless delight at how white people struggle with everything. I'm just happy to be there
