whorentia or however it was spelt, literally has in her pinned post about not bullying people for their preferences, being yourself and having fun etc. but orla, when people do that to you, you have to accept it!!!! you can’t block them!!!! they might find something out about you!!! 💀
a reply also said people might just come across your post without realising you were a dark content writer after you literally already said that your posts have warnings. if that’s the case, it would literally be impossible to not know what they’re going to read. people are really trying to grasp at every last thing possible to make you look bad. deep down they know they can just block but for some reason they don’t and they choose to be upset about it. this is why these people have so much hatred, because they’re always so negative and can’t take responsibility of their own content consumption. i always wonder if these people are actually 18+ because the way they act always seems really immature.
honestly it's laughable!! i know exactly WHO they're talking about. because they're all friends, they're following each other. there's three people involved, and a couple names i won't be mentioning because i have a suspicion they may be underage, while one is a confirmed minor. definitely weird how one account made FOUR different accounts to send me a message simply because they couldn't keep their immaturity to themselves, then acted as if i was obsessed, while they probably have a whole group chat dedicated to me by the looks of it, it wouldn't surprise me.
look, people need to realise that you're not owed an explanation for why you're blocked. it was pretty funny to see them not make one singular valid and clear point and then call me immature for blocking them because they were being disrespectful and disregarding my boundaries, while they had made countless comments and accounts to try speak to me. i wasn't surprised they were underage honestly.
they acted as if i got my friends to harass them. i didn't get anyone to respond to them, my friends chose to do it, whether that's because they wanted to support me, or had an opinion they wanted to share themselves. when you post a comment publicly, you have to be prepared for comments, responses, and opinions form other people. if they didn't want to receive responses, then they should've kept their comment to themselves.
and the person you mentioned? yeah, pretty strange how they say you shouldn't judge someone for their preferences, while doing the exact same thing. these people are hypocrites; they don't care if it happens to you, just as long as it isn't them.
and the other person (you know who you are, if you're reading this — which you shouldn't be able to, considering you're blocked, but i assume you keep tabs on people... 🥴😬) they acted as if i blocked them because they asked me questions respectfully. they were respectful in the dms, but began to reblog hate posts about me. don't act oblivious. i mean seriously? what did you expect? when you reblog hate posts about me, agreeing with them in any way, i will 100% block you.
i won't continue talking about these people, and i won't be mentioning their usernames (unless you want to block them yourself, then message me), because again, i have doubts they're actually adults, and can tell one person in particular wants attention BADLY.

Okay we're gonna try and settle this
Because I've seen so many people try and speak for the entirety of the ace community in regards to this discourse, I thought why not make a poll just to gauge out the general opinion
Disclaimer: This poll might not turn out entirely accurate given that there's always a possibility some people won't answer truthfully or throw this poll into an echo chamber with people who agree with them.
Disclaimer 2: I'm leaving reblogs open because I want the poll to reach more people but please for the love of god don't start a fight in the notes.
About Option 3: The distinction here is that you're fine with people portraying an asexual / aromantic character as anywhere on the ace / aro spectrum as long as they actually put in the effort to portray a sex-favorable ace or a romance-favorable ace and their experiences as opposed to just making the character allo.

One thing we’re not gonna do is start asking for or seeking out pirated copies of an independent film that’s still seeking a distributor just so we can make screencaps and gifs etc.
Right? Understood? Good.

PLEASE BOOST AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!!
hi everyone, i’m very angry and annoyed as i’m typing this right now. it’s recently come to my attention from @zoro-kun that someone has stolen and copied one of my works WORD FOR WORD.
a user by the name of @avaricious-hoe has stolen my work and has posted it by using a different pairing. not only is it clearly mine, it is copied WORD FOR WORD. i gave them zero permission to copy it and i don’t even know who the hell they are. i’m asking all of you to please report this account as i’ve been informed this has not been the first time that they have stolen someone else’s content. please, be fucking creative and actually make your own content instead of STEALING from other people, thanks.
the stolen fic:

also including a date in case:

i am absolutely disgusted and irritated that this has happened to me. as you can see, it’s clearly copied. i also want to warn anyone who is a one piece writer that you should be wary of this person. PLEASE BLOCK AND REPORT THANK YOU!!
UPDATE AS OF 3/14:
the fic has been taken down and deleted. thank you to everyone who helped out and boosted my post!

On the topic of tropes.....
Tw: discourse
There's been so much talk and discussion of tropes, and plagiarism, and I feel like It seriously needs to be put to rest.
So what exactly is plagiarizing?
By definition: to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own : use (another's production) without crediting the source
What exactly is a trope?
By definition: a common or overused theme or device
The fics, or art, or any work that you create is entirely your own. You own that material, because you created it. If someone were to directly use your art, or copy your writing word for word, without consulting you beforehand, or at the very least crediting you, that is plagiarism.
Someone who decides that a trope is interesting, and they want to try it out on their own. Is not plagiarism. Being inspired by things is just a normal part of life. We all do it.
If I want to write a silly fic with a weird trope, and then someone else decided to write something with the same trope, that is not plagiarism.
Think of it like this. We are all using the same characters for these fics. It is only natural there may be some overlap with how saturated the fandom is with fics, and writing, and just content in general.
I think there's been a lot of confusion on the difference between plots, and tropes.
You own the plot you write, but not the trope.
Its like going to an ice cream shop, everyone can pick a different flavor (plot) but at the end of the day its all on a cone (trope)

i don't mean this in a rude way and i'm also black but i've always had this question but never knew if it's okay to ask but why do you think representation of black women in fanfiction is important? cause i've seen never seen hispanic, asian, (especially south asian) indigenous ect fanfiction before, reader's looks are almost always neutral
for one, i always find it strange that black writers in fandom spaces/fanfic communities are always questioned on why they write black reader. like we're really the only group of people that get asked this as if it's our phone number and literally, the answer to this question can be found in countless popular posts on here explaining black people frustration of reading 'ran his fingers through your silky hair', 'you blushed so hardly your cheeks stained red', the fanfic aesthetic edits that have white girl in them, the fan art made for the fic where it's y/n and character and y/n is drawn as a visible white woman...i can go on.
but to answer your question, it's important for black representation in fanfiction, just like it's important to have black representation in books, tv shows, movies, modeling, art, journalism, tech, the health industry, etc. it's important to have black representation in fandom spaces period, especially when we engage in fandom type of stuff—we're usually bullied and hit with anti blackness *cough* see black cosplayers for example *cough*. plus, i think it's important because i know in some years there will be some 18-year-old jujutsu kaisen loving ass black person stumbling upon my or one of the lovely black writers archived blogs or a03 account (pls tumblr and a03 survive so the next generation can experience it hehe) and eyes literally lighting up reading fanfics where reader is described of having natural hair, box braids, brown skin, etc.
and for the last portion of your message, with other poc communities..if they wanted to describe reader's looks and culture for their specific community...they could. maybe it's a preference for them to have reader neutral...just like for some black writers it's a preference for them to write reader as neutral as possible.
pls let's leave the 'why you write reader as black' type of questions in this year. frankly all obviously white coded reader in fanfics aside........black writers can write reader as black because we fuckin' can.

and you’re excuses are fucking bullshit btw
1) he expressed the desire to do horrible things to women while talking to his mother.
first of all, this isn’t canon, this was a headcanon made by you dumbfucks who think rape is okay. have you ever actually experienced rape? it doesn’t fucking feel good. stupid ass cunt.
2) he was compliant with his teammate who was taking part in attempted rape.
again, never fucking happened. and if you think it did you better show some fucking proof.
3) there's a chance that those who are abused become abusers themselves, which is my headcannon for him.
this is a shitty fucking excuse and you’re disgusting. you don’t get to excuse rape with a fucking headcanon. i can’t even fathom the stupidity behind this bullshit. god are you fucking stupid?? you’re a grown ass adult writing rape?? you need to be checked mentally
calm your whiney ass down, i literally have proof.
here are some screenshots from the comics of him. i find it strange how you're adamant this never happened while it's pretty obvious you haven't read the comics.
1. here is a screenshot from the comics where he expresses that he enjoys doing horrible things to women. you're making yourself look like a daft twat by saying “this never happened”. i mean, seriously? have you even BOTHERED to read his backstory or understand my perspective? i highly doubt it, you're a close-minded moron that can't comprehend what “don't like, don't read” means.
Tumblr media
2. here is a screenshot from the comics where he is compliant with his teammate in attempted rape. wouldn't take very long to find if you weren't such a lazy cunt, but here, since you lack the ability to do basic research yourself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. did you speak to simon riley yourself? did you?? last time i checked, he was a fictional character. you don't get to decide MY headcannons, it's MY blog, i'll write whatever the fuck i want. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
you genuinely disgust me. you're the type to claim you care about victims, but the second they write/read non-con, you throw a tantrum and a hissy fit. GROW UPPPP.

hello,
i can't believe i have to even make an announcement like this, but here goes:
it has recently been brought to my attention that my works (from my other blogs—not this one that i know of) have been translated, copied and distributed on other websites without proper permission or credit.
this is a friendly reminder that copying and distributing other people's works without their permission, and especially without credit, is PLAGIARISM
i've said it before but i will say it again, please do not repost my works to other sites or translate them without my permission. don't think you can sneakily get around it just because you've posted to a site not in my native language. i will eventually find out as other people find them and tell me.
i would very deeply appreciate it if you see something like this for any works i've posted to this blog, to please let me know and also report it on whatever site you've found it on

I know we’re always told it’s “affectionate”, “not that serious” and “younger fans are in the majority” (or worse, “aren’t you too old for this?”) but the fuckin’ ageism in some parts of this fandom towards the person they’re supposed to be fans off pisses me the fuck off.
(This one goes out to the post-VF shoot tweets about “his old man neck”, “old man neck wrinkles”, “he’s so elderly”, etc.)
(It’s fucking weird because it’s from people in their 20s. I had crushes on actors c. 20 years older than me as a teen but I a) never insisted that the fandom was only for people like me, and b) never called them “elderly”.)

i literally thought that this was done and over with, but that doesn’t seem like the case.
the user @avaricious-hoe is on wattpad! however, they have 47 different stories that are all STOLEN from naruto writers! i recently discovered this because a friend of mine found their account and found that every post has been copied from other writers. now while they haven’t copied my work this time, there are many other posts on there from other writers and i believe that this should be brought to light because she should NOT be getting away with this yet again.
screenshots of the works (didn’t include all because there were 47):

TW: pedophilia
Just gotta get this off my chest. People were saying "it's just fictional characters" dealing with a certain situation if you know you know and ...thats just weird because its not just characters. It wouldn't even matter if it was made up OC its literally artistry of children... little kids in a sexual nature. If you dont see an issue with that boo imma need you to do some deep soul searching. It does not matter if it was pixels, blobs or whatever you want to call it drawing a child in that type of manner is really gross and getting turned on by that is even worse
