No, you’re not being rude! I appreciate you telling me this. I didn’t know that. Whenever I think of “problematic shipping,” I always imagine things like in Death Note and the arguments I always see in this particular fandom, where literally everything is problematic when thought too hard about, practically making shipping impossible unless the characters are twisted from canon in some way. I don’t do background checks on posters, and I generally agree that people should be allowed to ship whatever they want without judgement, even vaguely problematic things, as long as it doesn’t extend to real life. I personally am absolutely not an incest-shipper; never have been or will be, even when it’s canon. The only reason I shipped characters with significant age differences when I was younger was because I thought the older ancient character was cool as heck, and I was in the other character’s age range, so I related to that part of the post. I certainly don’t ship pairings like that in the same way anymore since I’m an adult now and do find it a bit skeevy, so I do alter them a bit to make them more palatable if I ever feel the need to ship them. But like I said, direct p*dophilia and incest are absolutely not on the table for me.

And call me ignorant, but my old ass thought “pro shipping” meant, like, “I’m supporting the concept of shipping.” Yes, I’m very old and am having problems keeping up with these newfangled terms you peeps keep coming up with! Why the hell isn’t it called “prob-shipping?” Would’ve saved me a bit of confusion. 😑 So, no background check, ignorance, and agreeing with the overall message I was interpreting at the time is why I reblogged it. Ship responsibly, I guess.

The Everhood server.

I got banned from the Everhood server including everyone who was once in there for a long time also got banned because the mods made a document about the server on lockdown but they were behind on other situations that they didn’t address.

What they didn’t address in the document was the allegations of a pedophile name Marcos The Fox who is still active on the social media platform which he shouldn’t be due to further evidence of grooming minors and sending explicit images of p0rn in direct messages. 

This led to lot of backlash against the document with everyone to protest against the mods for not mentioning the allegations, instead they were defending the pedophile, not the victims.

Since Ann had to suffer from having to sleep with Kamoshit-for-brains and that her best friend was r*ped by that creep, it would make sense that Ann would just explode in Joker and Morgana’s faces for leaving Ryuji with those two. She’d definitely say: “WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU TWO DIMWITS THINKING?! DID YOU GUYS LEARNED NOTHING FROM THE KAMOSHIDA THING?!”. The she drags Ryuji away and comforts him.

I’m assuming that you’re not one of my followers and a random that’s skimmed my blog. If you are a follower, however I would rather you confronted me with your concerns without anonymity.

I’ve never had an issue with the ‘general bl**dborne’ fandom as of yet. I have dozens of followers in the fandom (and Soulsb*rne in general) community and I’ve never had any complaints. If anyone dislikes my content I would like to think they feel safe to block me to prevent themselves from seeing it.

In light of this, however, I’ll start tagging the ship posts ‘gehr x mar’.

If you’re referring to the earlier M*quella discourse, there’s no way a child can consent to a relationship and that’s the primarily issue. It shouldn’t even be considered a ‘proship’ problem, it’s literal p*dophilia. If you wrote/made art depicting a relationship between a grown adult and a child outside of tumblr you would get in a lot of trouble. However I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you’re referring to pro shipping in general and not the earlier discourse.
